That's one of my favourite things in the series. There's a lot of give and take, and there's really no character who gets an unfair treated, either positively or negatively, by any significant margin. Sometimes they're jerks. Sometimes they help each other out. Sometimes they creep others out. Sometimes they get creeped out. If someone steps out of line, they get called out for it.

If I recall correctly, for demons with insane amount of magic (pretty much every demon I owned by the mid game) you can recover half of the MP with drain, really SMT 4 was embarrasingly easy because the spell choice).
Anyways new episode, pretty fun overall, bringing the subject of stats, I can't help but think Megumin dumps everything to spell power and has embarrasingly low MP. Also am I the only one that in Etrian Oddysey style games just defends allies with the tank every round and never uses it to attack, Darkness style?
Edit: I also really want to eat crabs now

The bonus game for the series actually shows that Megumin has HUGE MP because of her high Int score (well into the 160s at level 6). It's just that because she doesn't take any of the skills that lower MP usage for Explosion, she can really only use it once per day.
P.S. As of the last episode, Kazuma's level seems to be at 16, but none of his stats barring Luck have broken the 40 mark yet.

If you look for it, off-model shots are found aplenty this episode. Clearly, most of the budget went into the right places, Jiggle Physics, for one.
Kazuma's reactions are gold in this one.
So we got a view at Aqua's stats this episode, at level 21, and...
Translated Stats: Level 21 Strength 72 Health 81 Magic Pow 98 Dexterity 3 Agility 48 Luck 1
I mean, wow. Being maxed out at level one...

Episode 9. In which they take one joke and drag it out over the entire episode.
High int score, was it?
Totally not suspicious behaviour.
The animation feels very off here.
I think he's a bit judgemental.
On account of having tried crab, I can't say I find that looking apetising. Crayfish, on the other hand...
Do they only eat the legs?
Yeah, think about what's truly important in life. This is not a show that teaches you any kind of morals.
For all her imagination, she's not really much when it comes to putting her words to the test.
Worst episode so far.
Check out my fanfiction!Okay, this show has gotten weird. I kind of think they should have just gecko'd it instead of trying to do the whole "remember that thing that happened." With the destroyer warning, maybe it will go back to its old formula somewhat.
Also, Darkness should be kissing up to that succubus, she got her favorite thing out of it!
It was a very, very jiggly episode. The succubus was cute. Crab legs are still gross.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. That business the succibi run here ought to be really profitable. Though, if they only ever take life force to sustain themselves, how do they pay rent?
@AnotherDuck Well, at least the Hero is worrying whether ordering a dream could get him punished for copyright infringement... And for several other misdeeds he may or may not commit within the dream he might order.

A youtuber I like posted a quick video describing why this anime was good to him. I previously dropped this anime after the first episode because it didn't interest me, but I'm reconsidering in light of his praise. When I'm done with Is This A Zombie I'll give it another chance to entertain me.

It's a self-aware parody of Reincarnation Trapped in Another World light novels that often turn into Power Fantasy harems. It doesn't take itself remotely seriously, the Main Character is a dick, and his party mates are all mostly incompetent. It's the type of comedy where you laugh at the characters, rather than with. :P
Indeed, I felt the first episode was inconsistent in tone for a bit, and then things got really funny.
Then again some of the funniest parts are funny not just because they are "supposed" to be, but because of the construction and delivery of the whole thing or the bits of hilarity sprinkled on -Kazuma desu is probably the funniest thing ever Kaz has said ever.

But all in all, I think we can agree that they deserve each other.
