(While I usually use the Japanese meaning of the word, for this post I'd use the word "otaku" in its Western meaning.)
I found it strange that everyone sees Otako an otaku despite she's more accurately a bookworm. Even this is Galko's first impression on her despite what the former was reading was just a normal thriller.
Spoilers: Galko is actually quite happy when Otako called her that way, because previously she's always be referred in relation to her sister.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaEnjoyed the anime enough to read on ahead with the manga, and I can't get enough of the color palette used. VERY unusual, given the monochrome stuff you'd expect from regular gag manga.
The thing that struck me immediately is how small Galko's neighborhood seems to be, at least compared to how things are presented (they're in the middle of the city and NOT a suburb), because everyone seems to run into everyone else with alarming frequency.
I'm at chapter 48 now by the way, and what the heck, Charao's older sister basically gave Kouhai advise on freaking female self-pleasure products. What.

I'm not surprised. Provided she is a doujinka without any drive to date, it's very likely she's a fujoshi.
Admin: Since nobody launched an article about gyaru at this point (maybe because of YKTTW), I'll make it a redirect to Subcultures In Japan in the meantime. I may also start working a character sheet, provided the cast is pretty big now...

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI have been meaning to YKTTW Gyaru, but I know about as much as the other wiki's article and the few I have ran into in anime and hentai.
By the way, was it ever confirmed who the other Galko lookalike was? The one in the Miko chapter I mean?
Also, oh wow, I didn't realize how insecure Ojou really was with regards to her friendship with Galko and Otako, so her breakdown during the culture festival was a big surprise.

Just to mention Gyaru Girl is now launched; somebody may feel like writing the Galko example (which is surprisingly difficult to write IMO).

Magazine is apparently legal and still in print. It's apparently like a Teen Vogue with some occasional nudity pictures from what I can gather, but more in line with physical education and artistic shots. Again, this is from my limited gathering of this at this moment.
This kind of Magazine is kinda legal in Gernamy, you can have them, you just can't publish them anymore, show them to minor or in public place. A similar case like this happened in the US too, and the U.S rule that this is protected under the First amendment. Germany did try to ban this before since many beleive they are legal loophole for pornagraphic. Also i doubt the guy confesstion is his real words.

E.T technically is a Isekai movie

One question: Nikuko, Fat Girl or Big Beautiful Woman?
Background: during routing wick patrol I have noticed Nikuko has been added as examples for both tropes, but I think these two tropes are mutually exclusive—so only one of them would fit. Which of them, you think?
