  • Name: Naoki Madeiras
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 17
  • Appearance: In contrast to this image, his eyes have clear dark circles due to his lack of rest
  • School Rank: S (To the point that it’s absurdly unhealthy)
  • Club: Disciplinary Committee, Brigadier General (This is what he calls himself, the Disciplinary Committee does not use military rankings)
  • Ability Type: Trauma Esper (Shock), Battle
  • Ability Rank: S
  • Ability: Elyon Utopia
    • Born out of an all-consuming desire to see everything go back to the orderly way it was before, Elyon Utopia is the capacity to create a nullifying field around himself, thus instilling the “Natural Order” of the World around him. This, of course, means the removal of all supernatural effects barring those that he himself possesses. The creation of this area is heralded by a row of bony fins tearing their way out from his forearms. The membrane between the “spikes” of the fins is a translucent white that starts glowing brightly when the effect is fully active.
  • Skills: Naoki is unnaturally skilled at keeping track of time, as well as multiple schedules. His capacity to memorize could almost be called a power in itself, though it’s exclusively used for either school or for the Committee. He does not play any sports, but his body type is nevertheless athletic (a fact hidden by his rigid clothing).
  • Friends and Family / Associates (He doesn’t really have either):
    • Family: Deceased, during the Migawari Calamity. His parents were Adao Madeiras and Seiko Madeiras, with his father being a well off accountant. He does not remember them well, though he will whisper their names while he dreams.
    • Vice President of the Student Council: Naoki serves the “position” of the Director of the Disciplinary Committee, not the “ specific individual”. Still, they will follow their every command unless it goes against the rules.
    • Muyomi Orphanage Staff and Residents: Seeing as he currently does not have a family, Naoki lives in the pitifully understaffed city orphanage. The only reason he’s allowed to continue going to school is because Muyomi Gate Academy pays for his tuition. Otherwise, he would be enlisted into the staff (seeing as he basically does not exist in the eyes of the government).
  • Personality:
    • Naoki is a rigid, unwavering individual. He is not the sort of person to disobey any rules, nor is he the kind of person to contest them or to argue semantics. While he prefers to simply yell at someone until they obey, he is not above resorting to violence and using his Esper abilities if the need arises. “Fun” is not a concept he is familiar with, to an almost comical end. He does not understand humor and the concept of puns infuriate him to a ridiculous degree. These are all the result of his status as a Shock-based Trauma Esper. He trains himself physically everyday, which is just part of his regimen. Any mistakes in his daily routine are quickly corrected by mentally shifting around time slots. He never has free time, which is something he greatly prefers. He is awake 20/24 hours of the day.
    • Surprisingly enough, Naoki makes an excellent tutor. Though he remains as no-nonsense as always, he takes the time to make sure that his student clearly understands the curriculum intuitively.
  • Background:
    • By all means, up until the Calamity, Naoki lived a rather boring and average life. However, Naoki is not actually from Muyomi. He’s from Migawari. His family lived at what would soon be the epicenter of the Calamity, meaning they were some of the first to be hit. Amidst the horrific chaos wrought by the Calamity, Naoki’s psyche wiped itself clean in an attempt to salvage itself, but broke instead. In his desire to see the chaotic destruction stopped, Naoki fixated himself on the polar opposite: order. With Elyon Utopia awakened, he managed to escape Migawari with only his name and his life. Somehow he came out of it uninfected.
    • Given that he’s still not a legal adult, he was taken in by the local orphanage and enrolled in the local school (so he could do something with his life). There he found his second home in the disciplinary committee. There, he is allowed, and encouraged, to instill his rigid sense of law and order onto the rest of the school.

Mostly done now, I know the history one is not the best right now, but somehow I couldn't think of more really. (If you'd have tips I'd be quite thankful, though I guess its fine) And I would also be fine with roomates.

  • Name: Katou Tamanaka
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 17
  • Appearance: Hiihii!~
  • School Rank: C
  • Club: Art Club - Katou is a member of the popular club of talented students pursuing the visual arts, music, dancing singing, and theater.
  • Ability Type: Shock Esper
  • Ability Rank: N/A
  • Ability: Grand Levity
    • An ability that manifests from Katou's chaotic psyche. It is a rare phenomena that occurs when an Esper's Psionic powers go out of control. The power of Grand Levity occurs at random, offering a variety of effects such as creating artificial scents, illusions, 'flipping things upside down', and bouts of psionic destruction triggered by a deep pain in Katou's head. These are just a few of the things the ability is capable of, making it difficult to rank in the context of the Academy's grading system, and impossible to predict.
  • Skills: Katou is a pretty good dancer, and excellent with different kinds of drawing and sculpture. There may also be some rumors that she is a very good kisser and fun in bed. She isn't really good at much else at all.
  • Friends and Family: Katou lives with her big sister, but doesn't have any other family. She's kind of a mystery, and doesn't have many friends either. Almost everyone in school knows who she is, but she hasn't really been able to keep any truly close friendships yet.
  • Personality: Katou is a nutcase. An absolute bonkers screwball, her mind totally slipped and continuing to run away from her. Her morality is completely askew, and she can't really be completely trusted 100%, not because she might be malicious or have ulterior motives, but because her mind and actions could change her behavior at a moment's notice, and she doesn't think in a similar way to anyone else, so she can be almost impossible to reason with. Logic passes completely over her. She is able to take in information, but don't expect a reasonable or simple reply. She's basically the Chesire Cat in girl form. Katou doesn't really have any kind of filter to her actions or the things she says, and she can be surprisingly blunt a different times, and it can be strange and jarring when you don't expect her to act in her own favor or towards her own desires. She doesn't really respect other people's personal space or privacy, the concepts lost on her, and she can be quite flirtatious in her own strange, surreal, incomprehensible way.
  • Background: Katou was right in the middle of the horrible plague, having her mind completely broken from the event. She lost a lot of her friends and family in the events and aftermath, and her mind would never be the same again. She developed this strange ability that she could never hope to predict or control. All she has is her big sister now to help her, and raise her, and who was able to get her back into a good education, hoping that her younger sister will somehow be able to improve her life.

  • Name: Anushka Singham
  • Sex: F
  • Age: 17
  • Appearance: The resident Huge Girl is around 6 feet tall, and has a sick tat of a truck on her left shoulder. She has abs that may be literally rock-solid, and she's very proud of them. The right side of her torso right above her ribs and halfway down her thigh has puncture wounds where bones broke through in the accident, and a line of scar tissue lines the hairline of her undercut where she got stitches.
  • School Rank: B
  • Club: Disciplinary Committee
  • Ability Type: Civic Shock Esper
  • Ability Rank: A
  • Ability: Lock Denial—Anushka has the ability to attach herself to a surface, psionic energy allowing her to gain sure footing on any plane regardless of the situation or angle of the surface. She gains strength proportional to force exerted on her as long as her energy holds out.
  • Skills: Anushka's a big fan and practitioner of both professional and amateur wrestling. Out of desire to use her power to hang onto walls and stand straight like a real OG her abdominal muscles are actually sort of absurd, and can keep her walking up walls as if they were floors with no problem. She has most of the school's rules memorized from long hours of reading and lifting. She's got ridiculous cardio and lung capacity from those same long hours of reading and lifting.
  • Friends and Family: Her father Aziz is a powerful Pyromancer and a hardass cop who disapproves of his daughter's esperism. Her mother Beli keeps Aziz held down and calm, and stays at home to raise Anushka's two younger brothers, Bajirao and Jai, who are hellraiser assholes just like their sister. She doesn't really have a gang, or many permanent friends, but other delinquents and hellraisers congregate around her when she's on the warpath.
  • Personality: Anushka has an awful attitude about school. She's stuck on the Disciplinary Committee thanks to Dad putting her there, and her enrollment is predicated on supposedly "learning to shape up" through her membership. She hates her schoolwork, but she also knows that staying at this school is preferable to wherever else she'd go. As soon as her studies are done, though, Anushka feels obligated to let loose and do whatever she wants. Assholes that she couldn't take down on school hours become targets, the local gym becomes her stomping ground, and she flips the part in her hair to reveal that sick undercut she's been hiding from her parents. This is sort of held in check by a need to maintain her studies, which Anushka is really conscientious about. The accident's trauma manifests in this flip between rampant delinquency and extreme studiousness, as the threat of karma looms over her in ways that appear very real to her. Whenever something bad happens to her or someone she cares about, Anushka vividly remembers something bad she'd done earlier, linking those two events by karma and hitting her with the intense idea that yes, this is her fault.
  • Background: Anushka's family were immigrants living in Muyomi when the Calamity hit. Aziz had settled down there to raise his family in a place he thought better than his native country, in spite of his protesting children. Anushka liked their old rural home, which allowed her to run free and do whatever she wanted outside their limiting school. When the calamity hit, their family actually stayed pretty safe, but then almost immediately afterwards Anushka got hit by a truck and hospitalized. They witness the calamity, they walk outside to get a better view, Anushka announces they're lucky they weren't caught in the blast, and she got nailed by a semi. Dad saw it as a message, that she really needed to shape up or Karma would get the better of her, and he threw her to the Disciplinary Committee to shape up or get shipped out. He didn't specifify where she'd get shipped, but Anushka had seen her Dad do hostage negotiation before, and she knew he wasn't fucking around here. So yeah, she has started the year a known delinquent stuck on the Disciplinary Committee, forced to reform her ways.

  • Name: Ryou Bakudan

  • Sex: Male

  • Age: 17

  • Appearance: he likes bubblegum Not pictured: Small scar on his right cheek.

  • School Rank: C

  • Club: He's being pressured to join one. He's probably gonna cave soon. He's gone to kickboxing sporadically.

  • Ability Type: Natural Esper, Combat

  • Ability Rank: C

  • Ability: Big Bang
    • When Ryou focuses, he can cause bubbles to come out of his arms. They come in different colors, though they all have a single black star on them. Ryou can make the bubbles grow bigger by focusing for longer. It takes him about a second to make one the size of a ping pong ball, about three to make one the size of a tennis ball. To make one the size of a basketball takes him ten seconds, and past that, the bubbles will explode in his face.
    • Yep, the bubbles explode! So long as he doesn't accidentally overcharge it, he can move the bubbles around slowly with his mind. Or, he can send them flying at a pretty good speed, comparable to an arrow from a bow. And when they hit something, or Ryou focuses on one, they blow up. The bombs come in three different colors so far, and each color does something different.
    • Blue: The first one Ryou could make. When this one explodes, it just releases a lot of smoke. It's hard to see in and stings your eyes, it makes your nose burn, and it's generally unpleasant, though otherwise harmless. Bigger bubbles make more smoke.
    • Pink: When these bubbles explode, they release a bright flash of light that blinds people. Even a small one can blind a person for a few seconds if they're looking right at it.
    • Red: Ryou only gained the ability to create these ones after he first started really training his power. These ones properly explode. The explosions will singe most things, and set especially flammable objects on fire. The pressure from the explosions themselves only hurts about as much as a good punch for the smaller bubbles. At tennis ball size they can cause fractures, though, and Ryou once knocked over a tree with a bubble the size of a basketball.

  • Skills: Ryou played basketball as a kid, and now he works out fairly regularly. He has a toned, athletic build, and is capable of somewhat impressive physical feats. He's on his own most of the time, so he knows how to cook pretty well, and enjoys making good to share. Also, he likes to paint in his spare time. Gotta be watercolor, and he mostly does landscapes. He enjoys video games a lot too, and has beaten all the Dragon Quest games. Finally, dunno if this counts as a skill, but it's a well-known fact that he always has gum on hand, and will almost always share if he has enough.

  • Friends and Family:
    • Midori Bakugan: Single mom. She and her son have a pretty good relationship when they see each other. Which is admittedly kind of rare. Still, he loves her very much.

    • Mr. Nozomu: This teacher has been on his case forever! Just because he caught Ryou trying to peep on the girl's locker room...And play video games during lunch...And giving him to other students...And using his powers to try to impress girls but accidentally setting a desk on fire...And look at image boards when he was supposed to be doing work...Maybe Ryou should listen to this guy before he goes to Hell!

    • Friends: He's very outgoing, and he shares his gum. So he's not widely hated.

  • Personality: Ryou is a happy go-lucky individual who is just starting to realize that the world is a lot bigger than he thought. He's got an intense love of the ladies, as well as video games and bubble gum. However, he recently began training in the use of his powers. He believes that he can use them to help people somehow. He's not sure how, but he's training them all the same. He has a strong sense of justice, and won't stand by and let anyone suffer under any circumstances, even if it would probably get him hurt.

  • Background: Ryou was born an illegitimate child to a single mother. Luckily, his single mom kicked ass. She had a decent job, and while it required her to be mostly hands-off, she supported her son quite well and yelled at him and took away his video games when his grades got too bad. Of course, that meant that when the Calamity occurred, Ryou had no idea where mom was. He looked all over, and was very relived that his mom was okay. The trip to find her was kind of terrifying. He saw a lot of injured people. He also saw brave men and woman saving those people. Ryou decided that he'd train in the use of his power and use it to help people.

  • Name: Toushou Hiro
  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 17
  • Appearance: Beach party
  • School Rank: B
  • Club: A nominal member of the student government. Pulled in by a friend who graduated a number of years ago and has just stuck with it since then.
  • Ability Type: Natural Esper (Battle/Civil)
  • Ability Rank: S-Rank
  • Ability: Shining Annihilation
    • Hiro may look like he has the simple power to generate and direct light but in actuality his power is Matter-Energy conversion. He can transform the atoms making up his body into energy, mostly light and radiation, and direct that energy. This is however a very exhausting and painful ability, nerves do not like it if they become disintegrated. On a smaller scale however he has no problem bringing a litre of water to a boil or starting a fire. The civil part comes from the possibility of using his power for excavation, research, demolition, laser shows and as a power source.
  • Skills: Hiro is a pretty good athlete, he's far from the best but he is doing good enough to be competitive, not to mention that during his years he has dabbled in many of the various clubs, including archery and judo.
  • Friends and Family:
    • Mother: Ms Toushou (age 39) is a harsh, strict woman for whom parenting is pretty low on the priority list. She also happens to be one of the leading researchers on Magi, Espers and now the Calamities. She did however have a bit of a past as a party animal, Hiro being the result of a drunk encounter at a party when she was a young University student.
    • Friend: Shirogane (age: 21), A friend of Hiro and a graduate of the Gate academy who was pretty much a mentor to him in his younger years. In many ways she was the mother Ms Toushou didn't care to be. Power wise she is a Rank B Esper with the power of Animus Occulus, the ability to read emotions and feelings of people, like a highly accurate polygraph. Once graduating from school she started to study to become a police detective but she still makes time to visit her protege.
  • Personality: Hiro is a seemingly laid back individual with a bag of chips within arms reach who does not care about peoples expectations of him, well, the only person whose expectations he care about is Shiroganes. He is very much a drifter, uncertain what he wants to do with his life, though he is pretty certain he's going to be drafted into the military or some such. His attitude to his power however he keeps hidden for the most part, the fact that he is deathly afraid of it and what could happen if it ever went haywire for some reason, not to mention the very much heightened risk of cancer it gives him due to the radiation if he loses a minimum of control, and the fact it is quite literally slowly tearing him asunder over time.
  • Background:

  • Name: Fiona Yamoto.
  • Sex: Female.
  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: East-asian, but with long red hair. When not in her school uniform, she tends to dress in an elegant yellow skirt.
  • School Rank: Rank S:
  • Club: Muyomi Club, if only due to wanting to join some club to try and fit in better.
  • Ability Type: Trauma Esper (Shock)
  • Ability Rank: B Rank; possibility of growing into A Rank later on.
  • Ability: Heavens Light
    • Fionna is capable of creating constructs out of hard light. At first, she can only use this ability for defensive purposes, creating shields, barriers and similar constructs to protect herself and others. Her constructs always have a bright shining color to them, as if they came from the Heavens themselves. However, depending on how Fionna develops in the RP, she may be able to use her ability for more offensive purposes, such as creating weapons and, perhaps, even laser beams or blasts of energy.
  • Skills: Fiona is a skilled writer. While she didn't do much of it when living with her mother, she still wrote when he could, and her amount of writing has increased substantially with her mothers' passing. She also has some knowledge in economics and business, and seeing as her mother had her do most of the chores, she knows how to clean and tidy up the place, and she's also a good cook. (Thanks to her dad, sushi's becoming a specialty of hers...)
  • Friends and Family: The only family member still living that Fionna knows of is her father, Masaki Yamoto. Like her daughter, he's very optimistic and helps those in need, but unlike her, he's also very outgoing and something of a Large Ham. He also loves his daughter very much, and will always takes time out of his otherwise busy schedule running his sushi restaurant to help her out. He only wants the best for her, but unlike her late mother, he believes that includes letting his daughter have some actual imput in her life.
  • Personality: Fionna is an optimistic if shy girl who always tries to do her best; the key word being 'try'. She does often succeed, but her strict Christian upbringing coupled with her guilt over her mothers' death hampers her at times. However, if someone is need, she'll always step in to help them out, even if it puts her own life at risk. She's also fairly imaginative, being able to think outside of the box and come up with inventive new solutions, and she's an aspiring writer to boot. Not that growing up under her domineering mother gave her much opportunity to practice it much...
  • Background: Fionna Yamoto was born in Nokala, but raised in the good ol' USA, due to her parents being divorced soon after she was born. Her mother gained custody, and seeing as she was a born American, America is where they went. Speaking of which, her mother was a devout Christian through and through, at least in the sense that she believed in God and practiced the faith. However, she was also a cold calculating business woman who believed not just in the faith, but also in power and control, both of which she managed to apply in tandem to raising her daughter. Fiona was taught to believe in the Church, and to believe to do what her mother told her, because God and Mother always knew best. Nearly every iota of her life was controlled by her, but unfortunately for Fiona, she felt that there wasn't much she could about it. She had also been taught that if she disobeyed Mother, she disobeyed God, and how could she disobey God? Mind you, at times she wanted to, but she did her best to tuck all of this safely away in the back of her brain. Or so it seemed.
    • One day, her mother was driving her to school and giving her yet another stern lecture when something inside her snapped. After all of this time, all of her anger and stress at not having any real control over her life — which she managed to bottle up so neatly that she barely even noticed it was there — had finally been let loose, and she let her mother have it. She didn't know what got into her, or why it was suddenly now after all of this time that she finally couldn't take it anymore, but regardless, there it was. Unfortunately, her outburst could have been better timed, because it isn't always easy to have a conversation and still keep your eyes on the road. Before Fiona knew it, they were just about to careen into a behemoth of a truck. Out of desperation, Fiona's mother tried to pull the brakes and get out of the way, but ended up tumbling into a ditch.
    • When Fiona came to, she discovered that she had miraculously survived, but her mother wasn't so lucky. The woman who strived for perfection, for power and control, had died in part due to a momentary loss of that control. As for Fiona, she was at a loss. On the one hand, her mother was dead. The woman who had taken care of her her whole life, who only wanted the best for her, who watched over her every step of the way, was gone. On the other hand, her mother was dead. The woman who had dominated nearly every aspect of her life and never allowed her to be herself, to do what she wanted to do, was gone. On the one hand, she felt liberated, but on the other hand, she felt horrible, both due to the death of her mother, as well as that part of her was actually happy that she was dead. However, she was so lost in thought that she didn't notice the car, now wrecked and lopsided, spontaneously combust. Though to be fair, she didn't need to. At that moment, a bright forcefield instantaneously spread around her, protecting her from the blast. Fiona was both amazed and shocked at this, for the irony of the situation was not lost on her. If she had had this ability before the accident, and knew how to use it on others, than her mother could have survived. On the other hand, if she hadn't lashed out against her mother, maybe there wouldn't have even been the need for such an ability.
    • In any event, with her mother gone, Fiona had nowhere left to go but to her father, who had been living happily as the owner of a sushi restaurant in Muyomi City. He was ecstatic at being able to see his daughter again after so long, and was more than happy to take her in. Unlike her mother, her father was an easygoing, open-minded man (and an atheist,) who encouraged her daughter not to believe in anything but herself and her own convictions. The trouble was that after believing in God and Mother for so long, she wasn't sure if she even could believe in herself, and her guilt over her mothers' death didn't help. In spite of this, she is doing her best to follow her fathers advice, and is determined to make a new start of things at Muyomi Adademy. Of course, the horror stories of Muyomi's former neighbor city didn't help matters, but she still wants to at least try and do as her father has asked. Part of her does want to believe in herself and do what she she herself wants to do, but she just doesn't know if she can. Or if she deserves to...

  • Name: Georgia Jenks
  • Sex: Female
  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: Georgia is American, blonde, and blue-eyed, for what that's worth. She's of a totally unremarkable height — average for a girl her age, really — and her build could best be described as "stout". Her typical style of dress pretty much centers around a t-shirt, some cargo pants, and a pair of sneakers – the ultimate definition of “keeping it casual”. Also, she usually carries around a battered-up skateboard which she uses to get around the city. Image
  • School Rank: C
  • Club: Muyomi Club
  • Ability Type: Natural Esper, Battle/Support
  • Ability Rank: B
  • Ability: Spin Doctor
    • Georgia's ability is essentially the power to manipulate the axes of rotation. Her most notable use of this is to instantly institute a rapid change in her own personal orientation. In the blink of an eye she can go from standing perfectly upright, to a perfect cartwheel or somersault, then back to upright once again. This is achieved through the creation of what she calls a turning point — a singular distortion centered on a precise focal area in space that generates enough outward centrifugal force to cause objects to rotate around it. In essence, Georgia picks a spot (or several) within her line of sight and makes what is virtually an orbital field on a smaller scale.
    • The speed at which objects rotate around an assigned turning point is a product of angular momentum (kg·m2·s−1). Georgia is able to tweak these speeds by relying on this calculation, modifying it to appropriately suit her needs. This also has the added effect of letting her compensate for or outright mitigate the effects of inertia. Earlier in her Esper career this wasn't such an easy feat to accomplish, leading to several broken objects during testing. Now, thankfully, her ability has matured to the point where using it on a living subjects won't lead to any undue harm.
    • Her most impressive use of her ability to date has been to rotate herself with enough force to produce whirlwinds around her person, sweeping loose objects up with the disturbed air currents generated from her excessive spinning in a manner akin to a whirling cyclone, registering at an F2 on the Fujita scale. Lateral movement is capable, though takes an added amount of calculation on her part.
  • Skills: Skateboarding is Georgia's foremost best talent. She's capable of pulling off stunning tricks without so much as breaking a sweat, and could very well go pro if she desired as much. This, of course, makes her a pretty good athlete, and she does possess an above average degree of stamina and dexterity as a result.
  • Friends and Family:
    • Commodore Willem Jenks — Georgia's father, a distinguished member of the US Navy. He's a proud man by nature, and sometimes that gets in the way of the already rocky relationship he shares with his daughter. Still, he provides her with aid when she requests it, and genuinely holds a decent amount of affection for her — even if he doesn't always show it. Spends the majority of his time abroad with short stays in Muyomi City from time to time, mostly to check in on Georgia (and various ongoing covert affairs, of course).

    • Emi Honda — One of Georgia's father's contacts within Muyomi City, who also happens to be a teacher at Muyomi Gate Academy. Friendly and kind, she maintains a good relationship with all of her students, genuinely wanting to help them succeed. Keeps a close watch on Georgia and worries for her physical and mental well-being. Drives a really nice car.

    • Hideki Fujimoto — Thus far, Hideki seems to be the only other skateboarder in the whole city. At least as far as Georgia has seen, anyway. Their mutual status as skateboard owners allowed them to become passing acquaintances at least. He's a pretty laid-back guy who seems to find her status as an American pretty amusing. His teasing doesn't get much of a rise out of her, though that certainly doesn't stop him from trying all in good fun. Knowledgeable when it comes to the various rumors swirling about and seems to take pleasure in spilling what he knows. Is secretly a Magus of considerable power with ties to several conspiracies within the city.
  • Personality: For all intents and purposes Georgia seems to be a thoroughly unbothered, unhindered, and unattached young woman. She’s passable enough when it comes to talking and interacting — perhaps one could even deem her sociable if the sometimes blunt, terse responses to things can be overlooked. But extended time spent in her company reveals her true nature; that of someone “over” the perceived meaningful aspects of life. Georgia considers herself free of the constraints placed on most of society and operates as such. Of course, that doesn't make her a very happy camper. Outside of her father and deceased mother, Georgia finds herself seemingly incapable of forming any real lasting bonds. Her number of admirers and friends is pretty much zilch thanks to this. If anything she at least takes solace in the fact that she genuinely doesn't want to see others harmed or do any harm to them herself. She's learned to bottle up most of her awkward feelings and just carry on as if nothing is amiss. It's not the healthier form of coping with one's own shortcomings... but it works for now.
  • Background: Georgia was born in the U.S. and grew up pretty much all over the globe thanks to her father's Navy career and the frequent reassignments that came with it. Her earliest memories were mostly of spending time with her mother, the two of them providing each other with much-needed company. Neither of them were able to keep any lasting friendships with others — again, because of all the moving. Still, they grew used to it, finding their close-knit bond more than fulfilling.

  • All of that changed though when they moved to Muyomi City. It was supposed to be a temporary home, really. Just Georgia and her mother occupied the small apartment, her father far too busy as usual with other affairs elsewhere in the country. Enrolling in school for the first time in a foreign land was jarring for the young American girl, and many a night were spent dreading going back the very next day. But then came a miraculous development – the emergence of her formerly latent Esper abilities. Though thoroughly unexpected, arrangements were quickly made to help her cope with the late-blooming of her powers.

  • In reality she pretty much became a test subject, though the term was not directly used in front of her. As she matured and grew, so did her abilities, and it was projected that she'd continue excelling until she reached S Rank. But then came the Calamity, which her mother was unfortunately caught in during a shopping trip to Migawari. She was never accounted for, becoming one of the many causalities of the incident. Up until then Georgia's sole comfort had been her mother. The Calamity ripped that away from her, dropping the young woman into a listless rut. Her progression as an Esper seemed to halt altogether, and it quickly became clear the sudden loss of her mother lead to a self-imposed mental roadblock on her part – one that only she could remove, if ever.

  • She currently attends Muyomi Gate Academy as a pretty average student, preferring to live off campus in the same apartment she used to share with her mother thanks to the continued financial assistance of her father.

Random impression!

Oddly this makes me think about playing a gamer Endure Espur, socially isolated geek, who developed a power on hyperfocusing and just as important the secondary powers that need to be applied like reflexes and endurance required to maintain the hyperfocus.

Although the main problem with being isolated socially is.. well socializing :P.

[up] & [up][up] I feel like we've had too many Trauma Espers. We hardly have any Magus or Natural Espers. Though we don't have any Endure Trauma Espers that I know of, so... let me think on that one.

[up]So, do you want me to retool the character? Because I can edit her into a Endure Esper if you want, no problem.
