It's too obvious, and Helck seems to be an obvious English -> Japanese -> Engrish translation of "Herc".
Anyway, slight spoiler, but here are the covers of the five volumes of Helck
out (book 6 isn't shown here obviously). Much like Onepunch Man, the titular Helck is never the focus of the covers. XD

I have recently discovered this manga and really like it but noticed there was no page so I started one, I don't have a lot of time and will need to begin the manga again to really fill out the pages, please help out if you can.
Neat. This has a thread now. Need to catch up on it. Haven't read anything in a week or so.
Check out my fanfiction!Flashback chapters ruined the pacing: we really didn't need that much detail. Early comedy roots create jarring tone that I doubt was intentional. I'm willing to believe that Helck's backstory was planned from the beginning, but the transition from outline to comic did not go well.

Also caught up now.
It wasn't bad (actually decently interesting as far as backstory goes), but it was unnecessarily long-winded, and the relative lack of humour made it seem even longer.
There were a few bits, like Sharuami drooling on the table, or Anne drooling when she first heard he defeated one of them monsters, but otherwise it mostly just went on with that straight heavy-mooded backstory you had an idea how it was going to end anyway. Most of the twists were predictable simply because it was just that: backstory.
Also, in the last chapter I found, that's sure one hell of a way to accept a request.
One thing I overall like with it is that as much as it pumps up Helck to this ridiculously overpowered hero, it's not doing so by dragging other characters down so much. Anne in particular. She still gets to be awesome.
Check out my fanfiction! And the updates continue to come. Azudora sure shows his Magnificent Bastard credentials there, and yeah, less hinting, more hammerblows that the creation of the Winged Warriors are just another sign of the malaise affecting the world, in the same way that the New World creatures are. It's just that the Human side had someone who was enough of a bastard to take advantage of it.
Also, Edil Edil Edil, you sure have it BAD for Hyura. It's obvious enough when your ENEMIES comment on it.
Two bonus chapters up! Both of them are of Vamirio as a little girl, the first making her way through the Cave of Trials (with Azudora as her chaperone), and the second her trying out a zany new invention of Azudora (it's a hot-air baloon).
Go back to the chapter with Helck and Cless as young kids, and what do you see in the background floating by? A hot air baloon.

Another series I decided to jump off from the "Followed, but not Known" manga thread, like Dungeon Meshi, but hey, it's Helck.
For those who missed the premise:
By the way, while there's around 25~ish translated chapters right now, Helck actually has something like 59 chapters out, and like Binbougami Ga, the translation is fairly quick, so we might get caught up really REALLY quickly.
In any case,
VamerioAnne and Helck's stay at the island ends, with the help of the islanders they found, and their local Witch. Interestingly enough, the Witch looks like an olderVamerioAnne, and even Piuy mentions that they smell the same. Dun dun dun DUN.Oh yeah, they're off the island. And Helck gives his best Saitama impression ("Okay.") when some hostile natives meet them on the next continent.
