After the 2019 accidental Doxxing debacle and the piss poor quality overall of last years E3, I'm not surprised at this point.
Watch SymphogearAgreed. I still like the E3 vibe of every company coming together to just dump a bunch of news on us. This was my Christmas in June.
"They can just announce the news whenever." It's not THE SAME DAMMIT.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*Even as someone who tends to only watch the Nintendo Directs (though I might now also start watching the State of Plays since I have a PS 5), all I can say is that E3 is honestly not needed when publishers can just release news when they want. Plus also a lot of E3 presentations tend to be an embarrassment for the publishers.
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!!!!It should be noted that Nintendo has a lot of known quantities for the latter half of the year, but no dates. Bot W 2 and Bayonetta 3 have launch years, Splatoon 3 has a launch window, and Xenoblade 3 has a launch month, but all of them don't have solid dates.
As for Prime 4, I'm unsure of if it would be there considering there's a bunch of known quantities. I'm personally of the mind that it could be saved for a late 2022 or early 2023 Direct, depending on when it's launching.
Out of the 2010s E3s, Nintendo's 2015 one is definitely the weakest.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I fully expect Splatoon 3 is going to get a release date at Nintendo's E3 Direct mainly because I'm expecting it to release in August, which is the only summer month that's open for a first-party release, and is two months out from E3.

Well, that's the end of stupid stage shows, like when they moved everyone to a barn and had a guy play a banjo for way too long before the start of a Last of Us 2 trailer.
