"Well, I thought you were supposed to be the 'good guys'?" Eli countered, pulling her leading foot back and to the side half a step, bringing her wrist out of the reach of his blade to abort his attempted Cho Mai and returning her own into a parry meant to bring him into overextending himself

"You can reply to this Message!""Oh. Um. Okay. Cool," Florens smiled weakly, his body still shaking a little. At least the pilot was friendly. Or was that an act, too? He wasn't sure he was able to tell anymore. But since he was stuck here for a little while, maybe he could try to talk to her and figure it out. She wasn't wearing a mask, at least. "What's your name? I'm...Florens," he stopped and gave a tiny, wavering chuckle, "...or, uh, Florenico. And do you know what's going on out there...?"

Satine in the cantina
Satine noted the frequency down. "I'll keep an eye out, Hotshot," she told Andros and turned away. She glanced at Shaito, then shrugged, leaving the cantina without another word. She headed toward the hanger, intent on finding a ship she could borrow.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Vislor, in the Cantina
He sighs (again) and rubs his eyes while he considers his next move.
Think, think... the other one mentioned a name... Arador Tull...
Not sure if this should be Lore or Contacts (because there's a real chance Vislor knew the guy back when he was a Jedi) so: Roll: ++00
- 0 for Contacts (so 2), +3 if Lore (so 5)
Cantina
Vislor remembers something of Arador Tull as well. He'd been seen as somewhat of an iconoclast within the Order, though for different reasons than Vislor himself, often believing that the Order had become too passive in its charge to bring justice to the galaxy. He'd had a reputation for being harsh, but fair, with a very keen interest in the history of Force-users who were neither Jedi nor Sith.
Galen shrugged. "The old Masters are all dead. Someone had to eventually pass on their knowledge. Not a Master of the old Order, but a teacher and a guide all the same."
Enroute to Docking Bay - Satine and Shaito
On their way to the docking bay, Shaito and Satine are stopped by a few of the civilians. One of them, a Rodian, pipes up:
"You don't want to go out there now. There aren't as many soldiers, but...two of them are fighting. With lightsabers!"
Docking Bay
(Eli gets a boost for succeeding with style.)
There's an amused snort emerging from the masked Jedi's voice modulator. "That's all very relative, isn't it?" They bring up their left hand, palm outstretched, trying to slam Eli into one of the docked craft using the Force.
(inflicting a maneuver with the Force at [+000] +4 = 5)
"Just give me a minute. I can fix this!" The Ithorian sounds positively livid. Or would, if the voice modulator bothered to work.
"Kara." The pilot smiled back at Florens, the corners of her mouth twitching. She was also a little tense, it seemed. "And yeah, you kinda got caught in a military operation there. We're taking over the station so we can use it to fund our, um...operation, I guess?" She shrugged. "A lot of credits move in and out of these Outer Rim stations, and this one is remote enough the Empire might not notice it's under hostile managment for a while."
Elsewhere
"Absolutely. I'm trying to arrange a meeting with the station's new chief. Maybe you can help me out? Give me the clout to reach out to him with a proper offer."
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Satine — en route to the hangar
Satine almost oohed. Almost. She did smile, but that was hidden by her helmet. "Thanks, buddy," she told the Rodian. "You've made my day all the more interesting." She broke into a run. Jedi! Or Sith! she thought. She heard stories about them — they were supposed to be fierce fighters. Maybe she'll get a challenge after the flop that was the Besalisk.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Moral relativism? Are you sure you are a Jedi? I always figured the 'its all relative' would be more a Sith line of thought." Eli taunts him, but as she feels the force move around her she reacts by reaching out to it as well and propelling herself into an upward jump above him to avoid his telekinetic push.

"You can reply to this Message!""Not notice—wait, you're not some part of the Empire?" Florens asked, and then immediately thinned his lips and looked down at his feet, "Um. That was a stupid question. It's just...when I got off the m-medical ship, one of those people shot an innocent doctor. Just. Right through him. And he was completely unarmed. So I thought..." he swallowed, "...it reminded me of something, is all."
Maybe the outside world is as filled with dangers as Zelos II is. And these ones are still breathing.
And have blasters.
"You're...you're not with those people, right?"

Vislor eyes Nerif. "This is going to end in disaster. Mark my words."
He turns to Valiyn. "Since it seems I have little choice in the matter, I'll go with you. For now. Don't expect any kind of cooperation after that; still getting my wrinkly old ass out of here first chance I get."

Docking Bay
"It's done. Time to go!" The Ithorian runs into the freighter as fast as its short legs can carry it...which isn't terribly fast. "Guess the speedy getaway is all on YOU now!"
"Oh no you don't." The masked Jedi leaps forward toward Eli, lightsaber flashing in a swift upward stroke.
(Fight roll of [00++] +3 = 5)
"Suit yourselves. I'm getting the kriff out of the way." The Rodian backs off, letting them enter the docking bay.
Kara's eyes widened. "They did what? Shot a doctor? She shook her head. "I might be part of the same group, but I'd never let an innocent doctor come to harm. We'll have to tell the Master!" She engaged the autopilot as the ship dived out of the hangar into the cold void of space and shook Florens' shoulder gently. "Do you think you'd recognize the people who did it if you saw them again?!"
Cantina
"Excellent!" Galen hopped down from the table and walked up in front of the group, Vaylin marching behind them, and Andros marching among them. "Off we go, then! To a meeting with destiny."
Elsewhere
"Thinking of offering up some supplies. Rations, fresh fruit, maybe some means for them to grow their own food. Nascent rebellion like this is gonna need to feed its people. Thing is, I'm a little short on creds right now, so I'm wondering if maybe you'd be willing to make a contribution to the cause, so to speak?"

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Florens shrunk slightly as the ship took off, breathing a small sigh of relief now that they weren't on the panicking hangar anymore. "Yes, I think so. They were a woman with short hair and, um," he grumbled softly, "Looked human? Humanoid, at least. Who's, um, who's the Master? Are they the person with the beam sword?"

Docking Bay
Oh look. Time to go. And the awful human with the awful lightsaber was busy and couldn't join them. Such a pity. Well, Dellig would remember her, if only because this day was going to show up in her nightmares.
Dellig bounded into the pilot's seat and prepared to send the creaky excuse for a rustbucket out into the freedom of the black. Time to leave this clusterkriff far behind.
Pilot roll of (- - 0 -) + 4 = 1. I blame the ship.
Satine — hangar's entrance
Once in the hangar, Satine inspected the battlefield, specifically looking for any ship that looked flyable by one person and mostly or completely unmanned. She made sure to pay attention to the various lightsaber-wavers around. It wouldn't do to get hit by a stray blaster bolt, would it now?
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.

Cantina
Neríf remembers something about Arador Tull. He was a relatively newly minted Jedi Knight when the Clone Wars first broke out, and was notoriously against the idea of using a clone army, arguing that if the Republic's citizens were so weak-willed that they'd rather use a clone army to defend themselves than fight their own battles, then the war was already lost. He went through the entire war relying only on a militia drafted from various Outer Rim worlds.
Vaylin sighed. "I'm not sure you quite understand the situation. As soon as the prison riots are quelled, we'll be the masters of this station. The only way in or out will be through us. And our master was rather specific about our respective objectives." She narrowed her eyes at Vislor. "You're coming with us to see him. Then you can leave."
Andros shook his head. "Nothing right now. We'll be suppressing the rioters and then starting our work reforming the station. Unless you're thinking of signing up, I've got nothing." He fished into a chest pocket and picked out a datapad. "But there's a holocom frequency here where we post jobs for freelancers like you. If you're ever starved for work, have a look."
Docking Bay
"We just initiated a hostile takeover of a space station." The masked Jedi threw itself forward, lightsaber flying in a high arc toward Eli's wrist. "What makes you think we're only interested in peaceful solutions?"
(Rolling Fight at [+-+0] = 1 +3 = 4)
"Hello." The pilot turned the chair around to face Florens. She was pretty young, probably just barely of age, dressed in the same haggard Republic military uniform as the rest of the crew. "Don't worry, we're in safe space here. Just a little while longer and you'll be completely safe."
"I wasn't expecting a hostile takeover!" the Ithorian said. While clearly upset, the rusty old translator made it sound exactly as metallic and monotone as the rest of the alien's speech.
Elsewhere
"I'm alive. And nobody's tried to confiscate my goods. Things are going as well as they possibly could, 'far as I'm concerned. Apparently we're dealing with rebels. Just the kind of meddling we needed." There was a heavy sigh over the intercom. "Empire's not gonna like this."
