Well, it's finally happening: a PC port of the first Red Dead Redemption (plus the Undead Nightmare expansion) has been announced, set for release on October 29.
Looks like we no longer have to use emulators to experience RDR1 on PC now (I can only hope it won't be a botched port like GTA IV's PC port).
OH MY GOD?!?!
IT'S ACTUALLY REAL!!! I thought it was the same copium rumors but it's actually happening!
I have missed RDR 1 for so long after I lost my copy. I have been wanting to play it again so incredibly much. Please let it be good, I want to experience that masterpiece again and feel the same thing I felt the first time I entered Mexico at night and Far Away starts playing.
I decided to bite the bullet and try Read Dead Redemption 2. Never got into GTA 5, but maybe I'll get into RDR 2. Also wanna see if it really is one of the all time greats.
Once Upon A Time.I realuzed something while playing. Do you think the people who made The Last of Us Part 2 played this game? I think they did. Mainly because of both games attempts at grounded realism. Particularly with how everything has an animation

Once Upon A Time. The similarities between the two was just something that hit me while I was looting the first house. Probably the gameplay loop of clearing out all the mooks (with a somewhat similar feel to gunplay and combat minus stealth), slowly and deliberately scavanging the cleared arena for supplies, all with a heavy emphasis on realism (minus not dying after getting shot once) and immersion.

Once Upon A Time.

Skyrim rubs on a switch. Rdr isn't much younger than that
