Finally got the diagnosis.
I kind of wish that there was some truly evil options for Arthur at the end, though.
- Killing the Dowdes for example.
- Killing the Doctor who diagnosed you.
Maybe I'm just evil that way.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. This video shows a whole new way to travel: being flung across the map at high speeds. XD The best part is poor Arthur screaming in the background.
Dutch: The only way we can get the cops off of us is to kill the richest man in America and aid in a civil insurrection!
Yep. Finally to Chapter 6.
I feel the dread leading up to Arthur's death and the Tribal "Plan"

Dutch's Moral Event Horizon is the realization the Blackwater Heist money was always in Dutch's hands. He never needed any of these heists. He just wanted to keep playing Robin Hood.

Nah, that's the money from since the start of the game. Most of which will have been money you've donated. The money you collect during the last stage of the epilogue will be from the Blackwater Heist I think.

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI am indeed done.
I just assumed it was the same money and Dutch was doing a fast one but I understand what you're saying. I am surprised that it didn't turn out that there was no money whatsoever from the Blackwater Heist and it was all a trick by Dutch trying to cover up how he fucked up.

My long-delayed review.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Nothing outright doesn't make sense... but I do think the game is written with the first game already in mind and relies on *some* prior knowledge of where the story is going.
You'll understand fine. Just some beats might be strange because they're references to the original in some way.
In general, anyone who knows the original knows right from minute one that Dutch is going to go rather mad become the villain. A new player might feel somewhat blindsided by that development.
On the subject of the first Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games announced that it's coming out on the Nintendo Switch and PS4 on August 17
, with both the base game and the Undead Nightmare expansion being included.
Disappointingly, there are no words on ports for the Xbox consoles (I'm guessing it's because RDR1 is already playable on Xbox One and Series consoles via backwards compatibility), the PS5 or PC for the time being. Also, the $50 price tag for this port is laughable, considering this game's 13 years old now. But hey, it could've been worse...

Bizarre, but it seems Rockstar sunk some money into it.
For those that don't know; RDR 1 is a nightmare mess of code and not particularly well crafted under the hood supposedly. Which would explain why such a successful game was never ever ported even when it's leaving money on the table; doing so would basically require rebuilding it from the ground up.
Which would then possibly explain why it's coming to Nintendo Switch and, of all things, Playstation 4.
30 FPS on Switch is understandable, but not even hitting 60 FPS on PS4 is less so, especially on PS4 Pro. (Maybe Rockstar is afraid that the physics will go out of wack if the framerate exceeds 30 FPS?)
The lack of a proper PS5 version is just as puzzling, even moreso than the lack of next-gen upgrades for RDR2.

lol
A PS 4 game playing a decade old game and can't hit 60 FPS??? That smells of porting disaster to me.

I am now finally finished with Chapter 4 due to a huge amount of faffing about. I was initially of the mind that Saint Dennis would be a less enjoyable part of the game because it was so far away from the Wild West motifs of the other areas but I was proven wrong since that's the point.
Some random observations:
