Starting some time ago, whenever I tried to look up something I've searched already, the search suggestions that used to pop up weren't there anymore, no matter how many times I searched them. For example, I'd type "c" and a list of stuff I looked up would come up, starting with "catherine". For some reason, that doesn't happen anymore and I have no idea why. How can I get this feature back?

That's all in your browser history. It has nothing to do with us.

I thought it might be. Still, you wouldn't know how to reverse this, would you? Does it have something to do with my sync settings (using Chrome)?

Only way to "reverse" it is to rebuild the browser's search bar history one search at a time.

It probably doesn't have anything to do with your sync settings. Some browsers do an automatic cleanup of the "junk data" every so often.

Be careful what you wish for, 'cause you might just get it all...

Chrome's cloud sync of browser history and bookmarks and such can become corrupted; it's happened to me, particularly when it interacts with iCloud sync. There really isn't a good way to fix it, though.
