A king of an unstable country gets exiled by a conspiracy of a guild of painters, some advisors, and peasants. He tries to return and retrieve his right to rule. Rogue King is notable due to the fact that it is a "Shaggy Dog" Story that horrifically deconstructs Rightful King Returns.

The Tale of a Sapient Animal
edited 5th Jan '16 12:21:38 PM by arcada188
Standard Hollywood voodoo zombie film lasting about one and a half hours long. That said, it tries very hard to recapture the original zombie prompt.
That said, plot is your average graveyard with an un-average woman practicing her sick voodoo skills. She creates a zombie, which is just an angry skeleton and it just goes to town, literally, and goes to town on the population, figuratively.
Eventually you got these legit zombies, flesh and eyes, kicking ass on the state. A week later and the state has been quarantined. Our protagonist is trying to get outta there. Who is he? I don't know. Probably a Caucasian male with a chiseled chin and a lifetime of regrets, that's how these movies work.
Anyways, due to time constraints he gets out completely okay. With a new wolf buddy too; the woods exist y'know.
What is it with you and animals today? Whatever.
You got this rooster, right? He's actually pretty mean, but in order to overcome his aggressive nature that comes with being a rooster, he'll have to get out and make some new friends.
Specifically a talking trout, a sketchy crow, a fat cat, and naked mole rat that escaped from containment. Together they'll get out into the world and learn firsthand what waits for them beyond the domestic life.
