Damage Typing was supposed to be about the type of wounds one can recieve, non-lethal damage, lethal damage, supernatural damage, etc.
However, half the examples on the page focus on something else, the divisions of attacks a game can present, with there being a seperate defense to deal with each variety of attack like Physical Defense and Magic Defense.
We might need to make a new trope focusing on the type of damage one can dish out like Slashing/Piercing/Bludgeoning or Physical/Magical.

EDIT: Sorry, I should use the Wick Check.
Dragon Quest IX, Terraria and Pokémon X and Y all list this trope but they are all games based on Hit Points with use of Critical Existence Failure, so it is clear the misuse is spread to other pages.
EDIT 2: Wait, no new Trope Repair Shop threads allowed, okay lock this but it is an issue that needs to be sorted eventually.
