"Copy that, Lupa.", Lilac responded into her radio as she reached the top of the rock wall. Moving as quickly as she could with her Semblance on, she tried keeping up with Maria and serve as her backup in persuit of the Ophiocus.

About time there was something they could do.
Seeing as there are too many people crowding the Grimm, Carnage moved back and got a hold of her sniper rifle. It wasn't the best weapon for short-to-midrange encounters, but her shotgun wouldn't do against a Grimm of that caliber.
We were to fight men and Fauni.
Moving out of the way she fired a couple of shots alongside Archie's, aiming for creature's eyes.

Grimacing as his concentration was broken by the Hydrein making its presence known, Henry stashed his map and began to walk back down the tree trunk, quietly reloading Barrett as he did so.
Roughly halfway down the tree trunk, Henry took aim at the Hydrein and unleashed a volley of four shots at its torso before slinging the cannon across his back once more and casually sauntering down the tree trunk some more.
Kurira
The Kurira stopped in its tracks.
Some idiotic creature had just shot it.
Slowly turning about, The Kurira roared a challenge in Freddie's general direction before inhaling deeply and unleashing a massive blue beam of energy directly at Gamma Team's general area.

Freddie screamed in alarm and got moving, but had enough sense to evade in the right direction. He threw a mighty leap towards the Grimm, arcing through the air, headed straight for its head. He disassembled NATION and transformed his weapon into a maul in midair, letting Soldier fall into its holster again. As he came back down he hefted the maul at the furthest possible point, bringing it down with as much force as possible before flipping forwards into the air again.

The Hydrein's various heads swiveled to the different group members who had attracted it's attention.
The head Clinton had attacked was utterly unaffected by a fire attack, the flesh of the Grimm already well adapted to the same heat that it used. That head swung down, colliding with the Private and sending him flying towards the ground
Mila's blade impacted on her head, causing damage but not managing to kill, she was likewise knocked away.
The head Archie and Carnage fired at had one of it's eyes destroyed by a pair of shots that landed within several inches of one another. One of the other heads focused it's fire at Carnage while the wounded one launched fire at the area it thought the other impact had come from.
Another head turned to Henry in response to the small damage inflicted by his attack, the head blasting a lance of fire towards the pirate.
Another head regarded Fran as she approached, the creature sniffing as she did, however when it caught her scent a second head turned and took aim, both of them launching fire from different angles.
Separately the last head stayed center, keeping a watch for any more threats.

The Ophiocus spat venom all about and knocked down trees as it retreated through the forest, leaving an obvious path to follow it but making that chase hazardous for any following on the ground with a corridor of dripping venom and falling objects.

"That is Kurira, indeed, Araja." Prospa replied over the sound of their travels. "We'll have to play this one by ear, apparently." She replied.
However as soon as they arrived and she saw the Grimm charging up she landed in front of the team members who had not yet gotten out of the way. The witch immediately funneled aura into her fire and lightning gems and met the creature with a beam of her own. Prospa ground her teeth as she strained against the power.
"It can't take its focus off me while I do this! Kill it now!" She ordered over the sound of the beams colliding.

Mila's thrusters managed to stabilize her and stop her fall. Looking over at the others, the sergeant assesed the threat and decided that protecting their fire support was the priority.
Mila flared her Semblance, creating a wall of Aura between Archie, Carnage and the flames, letting the shield down when the flames passed.
"Kill it, Alpha!"

Clinton crashed into the ground, but sprung to his feet in moments.
"Right, guess it's a good thing I didn't put Fire Dust in everything..."
He once again ran up and leaped off a tree, flipping in mid-air, heel-first as he tried to chop the head off with the Force Dust blades from the bottom Poker Face and Blackjack.

Midori on Jiro was bounding after the flying serpent, trailing after it by bulling through the rough Mistrali jungle, the wheel limbs of the ATV pumping relentlessly.
The Faunus rider ducked her green-haired head as a tree limb the size of a fighter's leg and travelling at roughly the speed of a head-lopping kick went flying towards her.
"Well, ain't you smart," Midori cursed, her arms and legs working expertly at the controls. "Shame it ain't gonna save you, y'flying hand bag!"
Team Gamma
"Got it." Kayin said, locking his robot down into its position on the cliff again. Its targeting algorithms began to run as servos whirred to life within the chassis. The scissor doors flipped open at the top, revealing the ring of guns once again.
Without another seconds worth of hesitation, the weapons began firing.
Bullets rained down in the Kurira's direction as rockets fired out from behind, seeking whatever part of it they could hit. Whenever one part reloaded, the other part began firing. Thus, the machine kept a constant stream of damage pouring out of it.

Araja toppled on her staff and swerved to the right, narrowly avoiding the Kurira's energy beam. She caught onto her hat before it blew away and tightened her grip on her staff. She turned back, raising her free hand to do something like construct a shield of ice to block Kurira's beam. I have to—
She gasped. "Commander Prospa!" she called out. "I'll—uh, r-roger that!"
Pfft, I could do that. Modern technology sure is impressive, though, she thought. She can't hold that forever. I better do something impressive, too!
Araja buffered her descent with a swirling wind current that she could float stationary in the air on. Gripping her staff in both hands, she raised it up higher in the air and summoned dozens—maybe hundreds—of large, earth Dust reinforced ice spears, dancing around in a deadly circular pattern. She brought her staff down, raining a shower of spears down on Kurira's head, with two hefty bundles specifically aimed at its eyes.

Max could spot the mess that the Ophiocus had made. Ugh, a lane of messed up trees and venom.
Thankfully, he was able to jump from tree branch to tree branch outside the hazardous trail that the serpent had made, with a bit of help from his Jet Pack. He wasn't as fast as Midori on her ride, but quick enough to track the Grimm. He wanted to save fuel for the actual fight.
He calmly informed its team as he held the charge in his gun.
"It's left its venom and unstable trees in its wake. Tread with caution. We should also approach with haste and caution- there's no telling where it's going to lead us."

Lilac turned and looked at Max. "Could you give us an aerial view on both the forest and the target? You're the only one of us with a jetpack."
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Max heard both Lupa's and Lilac's requests and grinned. "Ah, flying? I can do it, Captain. I'll report to you what I can find."
(Geier, time to do this.)
Max fired up his Jet Pack to get into the air above the canopy, and scanned the place with his sharp eyes, clearly seeing the path the serpent Grimm had made through the trees, and then he also caught the distant sight of a MUCH larger Grimm than the one his group was facing, and it was under attack too.
(Oh my. WHAT IS THAT THING!?)
What will he see?

Francesca locked eyes with the head that stared at her and snarled. When the two heads sent their waves of fire down at her, she strengthened the aura around her before catapulting herself up and at the heads, moving fast enough to clear the cloud of flames before throwing a nasty punch at one head and attempting to rocket past it.

Raising an eyebrow as the Hydrein lined a head up with his position, Henry quickly adjusted his aim and fired a quartet of shots at the beast, mostly with the intent of taking out its eyes or sending a few rounds down its throat, but Henry wasn't expecting to make any miracles.
Once done firing, Henry would roll a few feet down the tree trunk and quickly commence reloading Barrett.
You done fucked up Gamma
As Freddie leapt towards it, the Kurira ceased firing its beam and ducked its head out of Freddie's way and taking a step to the left for good measure as it noticed Prospa's own beam making its way towards it.
As Kayin's machines began opening fire on it, the Kurira quickly raised an arm to protect its face. After a moment spent determining the direction of the shots, the Kurira didn't bother retaliating with a beam.
No, the Kurira was infuriated, this demanded a physical response.
With a growl that shook the earth, The Kurira began barreling towards Kayin's position with alarming speed.
As it charged, the Kurira took the full brunt of Araja's spears, many of them getting stuck in its thick hide, but the beast didn't show any outward signs of pain, merely primal rage.
"Agh! No!" Freddie yelped in panic, tumbling through the air and away from an advancing Kurira. People were going to be hurt, and he wasn't going to be there to help unless he thought fast. His hands blurred into action and made NATION yet again. Now that he had distance and no attention to him, he could use the railgun the right way. He went fully prone, sinking the gun into the dirt, and sighted on Kurira, fully braced. His Aura stood by with spare clips as he fired several blasts in a row. Clips replaced themselves as soon as they werre available and Freddie for once stayed still as he opened fire.
Gamma
"Show time."
Araja brought her staff up again. Encased in the head of each spear, in an earthen shell, was a highly corrosive Dust mixture. The spears that stuck to Kurira's hide exploded, carpet bombing his face in an attempt to get the corrosive Dust all over and under Kurira's armor. Araja didn't have a clue how effective it would be, but hoped it could wear down Kurira's thick hide.

Kayin yawned from his position within the airship. His eyes flashed black and he pressed a few buttons on his tablet.
The machine the Kurira targeted, presumably under the assumption that it was Kayin, forced its support pylons deeper into the ground. More of its armor peeled outwards, like a blooming flower, revealing a now-exposed power source and copious amounts of explosive weaponry.
" Hope you -yawn- like this dinner I prepared for you."

Archie had a slight hint of surprise on his face, the fact he'd fired and aimed that round in surprising synergy with that...Carnage person, he quickly moved into a more favorable position as the barrier of Aura went up.
...hmph. Not bad.
"...Working on it, Sergeant."
Adjusting his rifle, he quickly took aim and fired three more rounds in a volley, aiming for another skull or at least at it's limbs to slow the Grimm down.

The head Mila had wounded took exception to its attacker turning her focus away and launched several fireballs roaring down towards the faunas.
The head fighting Clinton was unimpressed by a second head-on attack and released a second stream of fire directly at him.
While there were small impacts across the heads as Carnage fired, the quickly aimed shots did little in the way of damage. The head that had targeted before trailed a stream of fire after her.
Francesca's punch stunned the head it connected with, but her attempt to rush past the other head only resulted in her being halfway between that head and the one at the center of the others when they both blasted her with flames.
The head Henry fired at shook off the impacts from his shot, grabbing the tree trunk the pirate had previously occupied in its jaws and swinging it towards him as an improvised club.
Archie's shot for the most part made small impacts except for one that landed in the knee joint of the beast, forcing it to list slightly, while most of the head merely bore the pain to continue with the attacks, the head that had lost and eye responded badly, flinging fire about the battlefield at random.

The Ophiocus stopped and coiled itself in a small clearing near where Kurira was, ready to attack. It's gaze fixed on Max, a clear challenge in its eyes. Come and get me if you're brave enough

Prospa dropped her beam the moment Kurira turned from her, the energy of it dissipating against the remaining energy of the Grimm's own attack. "Think you can turn your back on me, you damn beast? I'll show you the error of your ways." She muttered to herself before speaking in a clear voice. "Tempest. Overcharge, level two, activate now." She ordered, her hand held out in front of her. Two prongs attached to wires launched from the armlet and attached to two trees, draining some of their aura and feeding it into the weapon. Prospa funneled all the extra energy into her lightning crystal, forming a glowing sphere of energy above the Grimm that slowly grew in size as she focused. Just need this thing to remain oblivious for a few moments, then we'll see how it likes a bit of power.

Max had spotted the Ophiocus. In a clearing, and coiled up. Staring at him as if to dare Beta to come and attack it.
He also saw that it was rather... near the Kurira. Enough for a fight around there to attract its attention.
If Max tried to shoot the Ophiocus from here, it could alert the gigantic Grimm and the situation would get much worse. He decided to alert Beta about the situation.
"Found the Grimm. It's in a clearing ahead where that giant Grimm was, looking right at me. Seems ready to fight. Careful, he's somewhat near that gigantic Grimm. Orders?"
Max would keep his distance but slowly move in, waiting for Team Beta to get around the clearing. Once the rest of his team were in position, he would strike once the order is given.

Alpha.
With Fran already barking out orders, the scout glanced back at his squad with one eye, the other scanning through the sniper scope...which quickly got blotted out by that multi-headed Grimm...and the storm of flames heading in their direction.
"...Affirmative. Moving into flanking position to provide covering fire."
Aiming and firing a round to at least distract it for a few moments, Archie quickly leapt from the tree, getting into a more favorable position to continue giving support.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.
