FATE Room
Oh goodness, math, the most Jeanne knew was some basic arithmetic. She almost got a headache just thinking about it. And now her new Master was being dragged off. She wanted to follow him, but she figured she couldn't just be a recluse, and he ought to be safe with that Caster and weaponized math around. I will come find you later, Thahab. she said over her mental connection.
Jeanne turned to Agricola. "Ah my apologies. You wanted to discuss strategy? I'm not sure where Lancer is, but I am free now."

"My indeed how the times may change," Cadmus said. "To the point where the Egypt of the future is vibrant and alive. Regardless I've seen and heard of things far more strange, so I'll reserve any more judgment until after we arrive."Hallways
"Hey! Hey you!" Rick called out to Jabir, waving at him as he left the pod room. "I was hoping you had a minute to talk, I need some bullets - and hey, is this your missing friend?"Agricola — Pod Room
Agricola glanced at Sir Thomas. "I am not looking for a Lancer. I am looking for a specific Lancer Cadmus mentioned. You do not seem to be he. Excuse me," he said curtly and turned his attention back to Jeanne.
"That would be wonderful. I would prefer to walk into the field of battle informed," he told her. "Do you know of a place we can converse in peace in?"

Thomas frowned slightly and scratched his head at Agricola's response. How cold....
Judging by the general reception, he thought to himself, little seemed expected of him. The nerve of them...so what if he was a convict, and unshaven, and shackled in chain, and smelly? They simply hadn't seen him at work! He would have to show them his many talents in the field, in Egypt. Then they would request him by name, for certain.... Oh, yes. He'd give them a show they'd never forget...
He blinked himself out of his flight of fancy and shifted his focus to the Director's ultimatum to the two smoking women as she stared daggers into Sally.
"...Goodness, that's a scary face." Thomas said to Animusphere, scratching his nose.

FATO CHAMBORO
Jeanne rubbed the back of her head, while giveing slight glance at Thomas "Unfortunately I don't actually know this place well. There was no time to get acquainted with it before the first mission, and we just got back." she said apologetically.

Agricola glanced at Thomas as well and raised an eyebrow. "Let us find such a place then," he told Jeanne. Picking his shield up, he headed toward the room's door; once there he stopped, waiting for Jeanne.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Ching tilted her head in response to the Director's ultimatum. Ching wasn't intimidated by her glare, Ching's Bravery skill made sure of that, so she merely looked at the Director with a glint of curiosity in her eye as studied the young woman's face. Ching brought the cigarette to her lips and inhaled the smoke back into her lungs, before releasing it once more into the open air of the chamber. She merely gave a shrug and began to make her way out of the room, giving the Director a pat on the shoulder as she passed by.
"Keep up the good work, girl." She said as she passed. It was time to find this lounge that was mentioned so she and her Master could continue their recreational drug use.
Well, if she didn't feel stressed, Sally certainly felt stressed now.
"...Y-yes, Ma'am." With a small grunt the smoking Master offered and apologetic smile to Gabby, then skeedaddled out of the room, in search of the lounge alongside Ching.
Longinus frowned a little, then offered a nod. "My Master is in need of munitions for the next expedition. We have been informed that you are the only one capable of producing such modern weaponry."
Gabby flinched a little bit at Animusphere's sudden show of temper towards the smokers. Geeeeeeez, they sure did tick her off... But, y'know, smoking indoors and not giving a heck about other people's lungs was admittedly a pretty crap move on their part, and a Director needs to be super frickin' stern so as to make sure that everything functions well. Perhaps Gabby could afford to learn something from Miss Director Animusphere. Perhaps one day, when she was a successful scientist with hecka degrees and accolades, she would be a lot like her. That would be really nice...
She gave a little "don't you get in more trouble, now" sorta nod to Sally as she and Ching fricked off to the lounge.
"Whatever it's like," she chimed in, half directed at Animusphere, half in general, "we'll be ready. It'd be wisest, though, to prepare for it to be bad and stuff, so that way if it isn't so bad, it'll be a pleasant surprise. Just basically can't be caught off-guard, though, 'cuz that would suck."

Jeanne gave a sideways glance at Ching and Sally as they left. She couldn't really approve of their sheer disrespect of authority and everyone else in the room, however she didn't have time to scold them. She did make a mental note to avoid the lounge for now. "Let's go." she said to Agricola, as she walked out the door and down the hallway.

The director nodded sagely. "We've already begun making preparations for the inevitable. Judging by the events of our last mission, we cannot afford to overestimate the thaumaturgical capacity of our employees. Clearly we've been so unlucky as to have individuals that lack basic magical ability, that even basic healing magecraft is out of their grasp."
She shook her head. "But there's no use in complaining about the hand we've been dealt with. We have to make do, which is why we summoned a servant of our own, which is Jabir. We added a few lines here and there to ensure we were given a Caster-class, but there were a few errors. Luckily we summoned Jabir on our third try and thus didn't waste too much time or resources."
"Seriously, what kind of Caster doesn't have item creation? Those damn musicians and their inability to fit into other classes."
She grumbled a bit more, but she eventually stopped and sighed. "We're lucky we've got him. He works pretty quickly, even if he doesn't understand modern technology all too well... which is weird because his Noble Phantasm basically just looks like a green tablet computer."
Hallways - Jabir
"Oh, it's you! The man who helped me out with the cam-eyras." Jabir exclaimed, raising a hand in greeting. "Thahab, say hello to the nice man."
The homunculus, who was currently floating upside down, groggily waved their hand in Rick's general direction.
"Is there something you needed? If you need anything made, follow me back to my workshop and we can get started. I'm supposed to be providing you and your cohorts with assorted mystic codes and what have you to facilitate your mission. I'm sure I could fashion you something to your liking."
Without actually waiting for Rick to follow, Jabir walked off in the direction of his workshop. He walked leisurely, despite the fact that he was probably capable of flying and teleporting with ease. Walking was calming and grounding.

Cadmus patted Animusphere on the shoulder. "They would most likely be assassins or berserk, if you summoned any of the musicians I knew," she said quite seriously, as if contemplating history for a moment, and then pulling her hand back. She floated out after Sally and Ching. "Well now that we have a brief respite from work, may I perchance go smoking and lounging with you?"
Halls
"Oh, hello there Ahab," Rick said, shaking the hand that Thahab was waving. Kid certainly had the white hair for the name. Although it would have been better if his beard was longer instead."Anyway I just need some bullets, I can only carry so many with me you know. They probably don't need much in the way of magic so it should be easy enough to build, it's just metal and gunpowder.... oh, although I got one of these too," he said to Jabir. He grabbed one of the bullets Aaliyah had slightly reinforced with her magic. "This one's little reinforced so that it can hurt magical things. Could you make me some of these? Or if you're making mystic codes, could you make me something that makes these?"
On break, but it's about to be over.
Gabby beamed when the Director acknowledged her little quip and gave a confident grin. The Director herself acknowledged her! Heck yeah, already she was able to establish her usefulness in this prestigious organization, and soon enough she'd be proving herself on the battlefield, kicking butt and taking names for the glory of Chalde–
...Uhhh. Oh frick, um... Her heart skipped a beat at the muttered mention of the other Casters. Could one of them have been...?
"...Uhm... 'Scuse me, Miss Director, just curious, but... What, um, what happened to the Casters that, uh... that weren't the one guy...?"

Thomas watched as the three women excused themselves from the premises. He was tempted to follow them....purely to get to know his comrades-in-arms better, of course. But being enveloped by a cloud of foul-smelling herb in a closed-off space was not an idea he was too keen on, especially considering his own current pungent odor.
Besides, he had become more interested in the Director: Beautiful, intimidating, and dominant, she reminded him of Le Fay in all the right ways......purely as a superior officer, of course.
"You've certainly taken everything into consideration, Madame Director," He said with a smile. "I feel empowered, with someone so wise leading the charge in saving the world."

In search for a lounge to smoke in (and other sorted debauchery a pirate might like to engage in)
"I won't to object to your company, Cadmus." Ching nodded to the Caster.
Ching look around their surroundings as they continue their search for the lounge. This has been the most time she's spent in Chaldea since she was summoned, but she didn't really have that much time to study the layout of the facility back then so she wasn't too sure where their destination was.
"Master," She looked over to Sally. "Do you know where this lounge is? I'm afraid my previous Master neglected to educate me on the facility's layout before we were sent into the past."
The Hallway Outside the Room that Had a Big Naming Mess-Up
"If it's nearby it won't be too hard to find, if you'll allow me," Cadmus said, tapping a finger to her eye and glancing down the hallway for a moment with a quick vision spell. She pointed the way they had been heading and kept floating casually in that direction. "I believe our destination is over that way, or at least I think that is what I see. No need to find a map or a guide first and cause further delay."Hallway
Jeanne noticed Caster and Rick talking in the hall with her Master still being levitated nearby. She thought for a moment and turned back to Gnaeus. "Do you...truly need a secluded place to talk about this? I doubt we're going to find one."

"Then that's just less of a hassle for me then, now isn't it?" Berserker gave a sly smile while heading off toward the exit. "Though first things first, the summoning has left be a bit famished. Could you direct me to our chambers? Before things get serious, I'd like some time to eat and play around."

FATE Room.
Aaliyah, just kind of raised her eyebrow. Servants don't eat do they? She wasn't entirely sure what Carmilla meant but She decided to find out, as she followed them out of the room. "Well...if you mean the Mess Hall its around here somewhere."

"I'm willing to trust Caster on this one." Sally offered Cadmus an appreciative nod, finally giving in to her addiction and letting the thick cloud of strawberry smoke out. "We should probably make haste though."
Roman Person
Should either Jeanne or Gnaeus look back to where Rick and Thahab were, they would probably be able to take notice of Lancer standing behind his Master, arms folded as he silently listened to the conversation.
Going to speed this right along to get us to the lounge to save time.
Going lounging with the bad guys from the movie Waterworld
It took a couple more minutes of walking before the trio of women arrived at the lounge. Ching walked to the closest available seats and sat down, taking another drag from her cigarette as she did so. She looked around in her seat, studying the room they were in.
"I'm surprised they'd spend money on this sort of luxury for a facility up in a mountain." Ching said, releasing the smoke she had inhaled.
Clever Title Involving Smoking
"Quite a strange room indeed, smoking in a place so open and vast," Cadmus remarked as she sat down, agreeing with Ching that it was a little odd to have a room so large for simply smoking. She had certainly never seen something exactly like it in her lifetime. "In my time most smoking was done with a dark and closed tent. Unless you visited the Oracles, in that time long past, inhaling the fumes that rose up from those magnificent vents.""Of course," she said as she reclined. "The gods love their vengeance, and even more so their jokes. Fumes were never my vice, I prefer drinks you ferment. But now?" She exhaled, a cloud of gray smoke coming out of her mouth in the shape of a ring, followed by a tuft of smoke in the shape of a ship that sailed through it. The ring moved back to catch the ship, and the two briefly reformed in the shape of a dragon before flying off to avoid polluting the air too much. "My blood and my very breath have all gone up in smoke."

Pod Room - Animusphere
"What we did with the other Casters..?" The Director put her hand to her chin and mulled the question over. Then she brought up her open palm and clapped it with her fist. "That's right, we burned them!"
She placed her hands on her hips.
"Well, Prana Burned them, meaning we reconstituted them back to their base magical energy and used it to fuel the next summoning ritual. It's the peak of efficiency since there's minimal od loss overall. It's not like they felt anything anyway."
Hallway - Jabir
Thahab swung their arms around wildly in order to right themselves. Once they did, they waved again (though they looked nauseous). "You can call me Tabby if you want." they said in a slightly shaky voice.
Jabir stopped immediately and turned around 180 degrees to face Rick. "Technology of today that is simple to manufacture, hm?"
He magically plucked the enchanted bullet from Rick's hand with a fluid wave of his hand and dragged it over towards himself. "What is this, some kind of slingstone? There's a very basic enchantment on it, reinforcement, but I don't see how that would make this fly any better. The shape is all wrong. What device throws these things? My connection with the Grail is... problematic. You'll have to provide me with an example or an explanation."
Lounge
The Lounge
◊ was rather small if extravagant, and furnished with a large painting of the esteemed professor Lev Uvall
◊. It seemed as though this was supposed to be his personal smoking quarters, though they opened it up temporarily since he was MIA.

Fate Room - Animusphere
The Director took everyone ideas in and thought about it all in general. "Well," she said at last, "I don't think there's much sense in worrying about it for now. It could be a Regal Egypt, it could be a Corrupted Egypt, it could an Egypt unlike any in recorded history. We just don't have enough information right now."
Then she coughed a few times and resumed looking irritated. "Put that cigarette out. You have two options: Either you go to the lounge to smoke, or I can throw you out into the snow and you can smoke there." she said, giving Sally and her servant a particularly venomous death stare.
Fate Room - Jabir & Thahab
"A ritual? Ah, you mean the unspoken words. I said a rather intricate and flowery prayer before forging a Servant's connection between the two of you. In the interest of time I shortened it using some basic numerology." Jabir replied. He removed his hand from Thahab's head and then made a quick motion with it. In response, the homunculus was raised into the air, where he floated gently.
"I'm taking you back with me to the workshop so you can get back to those alembics. If we're going to make any alchemical breakthroughs I can't have you gallivanting wherever you please." he chastised in a stern voice. "You can follow you Master if you wish, Servant of the Sword."
Without further ado, Jabir walked off with his creation in tow. Thahab didn't look all too pleased about being dragged back to the workshop, but they did seem to be happily rubbing the command seal on their cheek, which was nice.
