That's pretty incredible, considering how much they were struggling before.

[up]As was said before, the people from IGG contacted them about "doing it all wrong".

Basically, this is proof that if you think, and organize, you will succeed.

Holy fish, they added another stretch goal, and they are going to make this one too!

The rewards for reaching that would be one more minute added to the trailer, plus a video lesson on perspective drawing.

Looks like the campaign has reached over 525,000 dollars. Yesterday it was $425,000. Ho-ly mo-ly.

Don must be happy right now.

All that's left is TO MAKE THE MOVIE!

Well, see y'all in two years or so when all the animation is finished. tongue

Make the movie? That campaign was not for them making the movie, it was for them making a pitch so that a big studio might finance their movie....

[up]Was it necessary to misread what I meant?

To be fair, you phrased it in a way that could easily mislead a newcomer.

So know begins hiring the talent to animate the pitch

I am pretty sure they already listed who is working on the project, on the project's page.

Just scroll down, and you'll stumble upon the list.

A nice list too. I recognize some of the names.

I didn't realize that Don already had a crew(let alone it was mentioned already) after looking at it now. I see that some of them are from Don's previous films. Which is good mind you, along with talent from other places.

[up]Plus the score from the guy who scored TaleSpin. Which may not sound like much, but if you're one of the few who owns the promo CD (like me), it's very promising.

This is the best and longest video interview so far.

And Don mentioned Satyrday again!

If this keeps happening, this little book from the late 70s will get the recognition it deserves.

Didnt know down tried to adapt that into an animated feature.

[up]I didn't know that about down either.

[up][up]For what purpose? I just want the movie made, dammit!

Don keeps posting old photographs, production drawings, and cels on his FaecBook page. If anyone's interested, go there and see.

Oddly enough he even talked about something about the animated sequence from Xanadu.

They have been posting updates for a while, and this forum did not even know.

Their latest update, the best one yet.

Most of those updates weren't very interesting ones. They were just new perks for signed posters and that kind of thing.

But I LOVED that animation test. Can't wait to see the final full-color version.

I checked the website, and apparently there's been DL film updates that only backers can see. That's been bugging me. Are any of the backers allowed to reveal it to non-backers, or did Don specifically tell them not to?
