Eh, it wasn't too hard for me. Pam was only shown in relation to Jeri.
I did think, just from watching the trailer, that Trish was Hope in that scene where she tried to shoot herself.
Oh God! Natural light!I paid attention to her face, if only because I thought she looked a little like Emma Watson.
Oh God! Natural light!Jeri, was it your idea to have your secretary dress like that?
Because that's kind of creepy, Jeri.
Oh God! Natural light!Jeri being creepy and manipulative? Gasp, perish the thought. It's almost like she was some kind of monster. Almost as bad as Kilgrave since she was so keen on using him for whatever she wanted.
I doubt workplace appropriateness even begins to matter to her unless it might ruin her career in some way.

...Yeaaah, come to think of it, mind-controlling someone into signing divorce papers is pretty damn disturbing. Not to mention probably illegal.
(Speaking of which, Mousa, I don't mean to bother you, but do you have any thoughts on the PM that I sent you? I tried P Ming you again, but you haven't responded.)
Oh God! Natural light!Breaking laws doesn't really mean anything to her.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. However, I do think that there's a difference between what Jeri did and what Kilgrave did. Jeri doesn't care about breaking laws, but on the whole, she tried not to actually hurt anyone (physically - emotionally, she did a lot of damage to her wife, but that was probably unintentional) and she cared about Pam. Kilgrave doesn't care about laws, but he also doesn't care about people either. People are things to him.
I still think that was more about her loosing everything. She listed Pam along with the fact that her partners were trying to kick her out of the firm, which signalled to me that she is more down about loosing something she considered as "hers" than about Pam as a person. She was also more broken up about Pam facing murder charges than the fact that she brought her into a situation in which she was forced to take another life.

I watched the entire show from start to finish in one day, from 7 AM to 7 PM.
I also agree that the shows messages are very broad as far as subjects go, it encourages Applicability.
Finally, I too confused Pam for Trisha at certain points in the show due to how similar the actresses looked to me.
