"Oh yeah yeah, right over the edge." He waved the knight towards the placed he indicated. He didn't have a particular grudge against this person, but it seemed as if everyone else was in agreement to kill him. And Trevor would feel better about it.

"Well, do what y'gotta do." He said to Rex as Marcus was close enough to the edge. "Just shove 'im off, he'll drop like a stone."

Hamlet near Rick's Forgery

Beef. He remembered that. Denny and Russel would eat it sometimes. His head turned to the voice calling his name and was happy to see it was Ben. But he gave a small frown at his question.

"No. Haven't seen 'em," he said, head still near the ground.

Then when Ben introduced him to the new guys, he gave a big smile and a wave. He was right about the strawberry guy. He was like Ben; he could transform.

Hamlet nearby Rick’s Lab

Lune immediately gave a nice hi-five back to Ben. She looked at the red-haired tomboy in the dress and Kouta after Ben introduced her to them and enthusiastically waved at them. She said, “It’s nice to meetcha!”

After watching that awesome transformation sequence that somehow involved a gigantic piece of fruit turning into a cool suit of armor, Lune gave Kouta a hearty thumbs up. Boy, you don’t see that sequence of words often, don’t you?

“Wow,” exclaimed Lune. “That was pretty cool, Kouta!” Apparently, this sequence also reminded her of the superheroes Fighter Roar and Warrior Emi. In fact, the Fighter Roar she knew shared the same name as this Kouta. Fighter Roar piloted this cool robot that had many weapons. Apparently, the robot was called Compatible Kaiser, and it was repaired with the same technology used for the Dynamic General Guardians.

Lune was about to look at the catgirl with wings until Lune heard Peridot. What an unusual name. Why did she have neon green skin, and how did she get her hair shaped like a baseball diamond? In any case, it would be best to offer Peridot a nice handshake.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Peridot."

Upon hearing Lune, Peridot jumped ten feet in the air and pointed her arm cannon at her, charging it up once again. This was to be expected a lot.

Newcomers had arrived to the campfire. Kieri wasn't that sure how she missed them, really she had just been so preoccupied with her stomach that they flew right under her radar for a bit. She recognized some of them-Darth Marr was among them, telling her the Sith Lord survived the blizzard of yesterday. The outfit was different, this was true, but the Angel could recognize his brooding form even under a different outfit. It was everyone else she didn't recognize.

Kieri picked up a name here and there-Lune and Grimlock were apparently familiar with the boy, Ben, and from the looks of things Ben knew everyone of the group she didn't recognize. And what an aeclectic group it was, Kieri thought. One one side was a green woman with a large gem embedded in her forehead, wearing armor the Angel didn't recognize and looking rather lost and confused. She said her name was Peridot, or was that her species? She called herself 'a Peridot'. Kieri made a mental note to investigate her later. The Peridot felt, to Kieri, like someone who could use a friend.

There were others of course. From up above, a young girl descended to question what was going on with the strawberry. She wasn't quite sure how to answer it, though Kieri supposed with the person who apparently caused the strawberry here she might get some answers. Kieri almost thought that Sinon was another Angel until her wings disappeared, making her disappointed but not surprised.

Now, the man that made the strawberry. And apparently that strawberry was battle armor? Kieri sighed internally and just decided to roll with it, figuring that the pigtailed girl who apparently made up his fan club was asking enough questions already. It took a great deal of self control for the Angel to whip out her own sword when Kouta brought out his own blades on Grimlock, but she was still somewhat tired. A fight would do her no good, not now.

That didn't mean she turned a blind eye to Peridot pulling an apparent weapon on Lune however. Kieri's eyes widened at Peridot's reaction to Lune's greeting, and realized immediately she had to at least try and defuse the situation. "P-Please, p-put that away," Kieri spoke up to Peridot "s-she wasn't going to attack you, I s-swear. W-We're all sitting down for breakfast, l-let's not start a fight, p-please?"

Now, with that move, Kieri realized she had somewhat made herself into one of the centers of attention in a group of strangers. The Angel's heart nearly dropped, licking her lips a little and trying not to collapse from pure nerves. 'Keep it together, Kieri...' She thought to herself, realizing that it might help if she actually tried to introduce herself, making her not so much a stranger anymore. "Er, I am K-Kieri Suizahn, b-by the way. P-Pleased to m-meet you all..."

That is all there is to say, and I will say no more.

Darth Marr recognized a few figures near, especially Kieri and Grimlock even though they looked very different.

"Ah. Miss Kieri, it appears you survived the snowstorm, it's good to see a few familiar faces here."

Then Marr saw Peridot aim her weapon at a woman.

"Especially in this situation.." Darth Marr shook his head, before turning to Peridot.

"Quit aiming that weapon at everything you see.." He said annoyed at Peridot.

"...Ya really are Mr. Sentai!" Ranma said with a gleam in her eyes, perking up even more as she watched the entire transformation sequence happen right in front of her. She was a Japanese person after all, how couldn't a transformation sequence not excite her. Though weird that the theme was fruit, it was still pretty awesome.

In fact, she had been shuffling around Kouta with strange movement patterns that all but slid her across the floor in a way that made only the barest hint of sound while creating a perfect circle, always facing Kouta no matter where she moved. Watching from all angles, the martial artist was sure that this was the real thing and not something like a mail order power armor like Gosunkugi used. No smokes and mirrors at all!

"Name's Saotome Ranma from the School of Indiscriminate Grappling, Saotome Branch, and I'm gonna be the best martial artist ever." Seeing as various other people were going out of their way to introduce themselves, the current girl should just join in on the fun. Then a dragon popped up, which made the redhead tensed up for a bit before finding him to be a lot more amiable than either the Orochi or Herb had ever been. That temporarily threw her off stride before she recovered as only a Ranma could, having been way too immersed in weirdness over the last few years.

In fact, the blue haired fairy that landed soon after only really made an eyebrow quirk upwards for a few seconds and the head incline to one side. Having been subjected to quite a few themed weirdness over the course of her short life, Ranma instantly connected the bits and pieces. Everything was sorta like those gaijin fairy tales, like the one with the girl who rode a pumpkin operated by mice to the ball or that other chick with the seven short guys with the awkward sounding names. Her theory held out when more people popped up, an eclectic bunch indeed.

Still, she kept an eye and ear out on everything. Some were quite tense, those were the ones to pay attention to most since they'd be the ones who were most likely to start something. "Don't worry, I got yer back." Staying close to Kouta, she gave him a friendly pat on the back and quick smile to attempt to calm him down before a frown morphed onto her face when the school heir saw a green woman blasting at stuff. Clenching a hand, the pigtailed girl considered action as she stared intently at Peridot. If shots were actually fired, she'd have to leap in.

Ben grinned widely when he high-fived Lune. He then turned towards the people who introduced themselves. "Nice to meet you, Kieri, Ranma, Peri—" he started to say, when Peridot immediately started freaking out again. "Cool it!" Ben shouted again, glaring a bit at Peridot. "It's fine. They're with us." He sighed and crossed his arms. He raised an eyebrow when Ranma used the term sentai. Normally he wouldn't understand that, but for some reasonnote  he interpreted it as... fleet?

"Sentai? Not sure I follow that," he muttered. Then Ben smirked. "But you wanna see a transformation? I can show you one!" he exclaimed, readying his Omnitrix and cycling it over to a certain crystalline alien. He then grinned widely and pressed onto the Omnitrix crystal and he was bathed in green light. His shape grew until it was nearly 7 feet tall, with large spikes on his back. When the green light was released, he was Diamondhead, although now he looked a lot craggier and less "human".

He then struck a pose. "How's that for a transformation?" he asked Ranma and Kouta.

Outside Rick's Forge

Morty pushed his way through some of the woods before stumbling out into the growing mob of people... and aliens. Just like everybody else he and Rick had seen, it seemed that they'd been forcibly made over by the medieval transformation. There was Ben- who had morphed into a giant rock thing a few seconds after Morty made himself known. Kieri was also there; talking to some weird green woman who seemed to have robot arms- and who seemed to rival Rick in general trigger-happiness.

"Oh- uh... hi," he said, waving awkwardly at the group. "Uh... I mean, you didn't get turned into frogs, huh? That's good. Small, uh, small blessings." He stared at the group, noting that probably all of them could turn him into paste with one pinky finger, and quickly backpedalled. "Uh, that was because Rick, he was saying that everyone might become frogs... cause it's a fairy tale day, right?" He grinned awkwardly and tried to start over.

"Me and Rick are fine," he explained, doing his best not to remember the traumatic events of the previous evening. "Rick's, uh, workin' on something... and he told me to go find some magical stuff. Uh... any of you found, like, a magic... broomstick or something? I, uh, dunno where I'm supposed to start."

Anyone that cared to listen would probably hear the sound of iron clanking against iron emanating out of the cottage, accompanied by the occasional tink-tink-tink of something being tapped into place.

Edge of the city

"No, I swear. She jumped off"

Trevor proposed shoving Marcus off the city. Rex didn't think it would be that simple to get rid of him. It was obvious that the guy in charge of the city wanted Marcus to attack them.

"Wait, let me talk with him for a bit. He's also immortal but maybe we can use him"

He walked up to the ultramarine trying to not make any sudden moves, he didn't really know what could set off this guy's anger. He tried to start a friendly conversation (as friendly as you can get with a murderous psychopath with a huge case of xenophobia) and made a conscious effort not to mention the supersoldier's name. Marcus hadn't recognized him and Rex was willing to play the part of a clueless citizen.

"So, uh, what's your name?"

Plague Knight continued to write down notes. He look away onto the floor -

"*GASP* Self-automated movement?! Spatial awareness?! This is amazing!" he said. "It is almost like - "

The alchemist immediately stopped when he heard screaming. Even from inside, he immediately recognized that voice.

"Marcus......"

Like a concerned adult suffling a child away from danger, Plague gently picked up the plant creature and placed it back inside its pot. "Good sir, guard the specimens," he said to the warrior whom he still did not recognize. He crept outside, carefully opening the door, and seeing Marcus conversing with Rex, Spectre, and two newcomers. One was a little girl and the other seemed to the plebian version of Rick.

He hid behind a tree and listened in. Apparently, there was a person whom the marine thought was an angel and was after her, thinking she was not a true servant of his emperor or something.

Racist bastard.

Thankfully said xenophobia led to stupidity, as the unhinged fellow managed to trick Marcus into potentially jumping over the edge of the city. Oh this would be PERFECT......if not for Rex trying to talk to him, ruining the moment. The had to resist the urge to face palm. Sure, the Ultramarine jumping off the side of the city would not be a permanent solution, but any means of getting rid of him with as little violence as possible was a blessing, and the nanomachine powered teen was tossing it away!

He prepared his Big Boom arcana just in case things go inevitably wrong.....

Edge of the hamlet near Rick's lab

"Okay, wasn't a fight" the werewolf said in a worried tone, going to take cover behind Grimlock as Peridot prepared an obvious weapon.

A few of the other refugees from the other night also looked nervous, but the man cooking seemed unperturbed. He took the chance to reply to Morty instead. "I saw a broom in that house, but it didn't look magical" the man said to Morty, indicating the house he had raided for the food.

Balcony near Plague Knight's lab

As Rex approached, Brother Marcus turned suddenly, but paused as Rex clearly wasn't making any hostile action. Slowly, he let go of his sword handle. "I am Brother Marcus... I do not see where she has gone, but I am sure she will return to the city soon enough" Brother Marcus said as he looked down over the edge again. "You must take caution if you see her again; she is extremely dangerous" the space marine continued. The conviction in his voice was clear; he was not lying. Had he really met the same Kieri everyone else had? Or did he know something they didn't, or at least thought he did?

Brother Marcus turned back to Rex, and paused again. "Wait a minute. I have seen you before, I'm sure of it" Brother Marcus muttered, getting suspicious of Rex. "Remove your mask, that I may see your face" the space marine told him sternly.

Mary (Forest) - Guardian of Secrets

Mary was going to be fine. That was what the woman said. She said it because she didn't understand. That world was mocking her. The fake people, the fake plants, the entire city. Because they knew. They knew. They knew Mary's secret.

The woman said she wanted to stop the bleeding. She wanted to stop the bleeding. She didn't know it wasn't blood. She didn't know Mary's secret. The fake people and plants did, but she didn't.

However, the woman would know soon. She would notice the blood wasn't blood. She would notice that, and then she would know. And no one had to know. Mary didn't want anyone to know, so she wouldn't let anyone find out.

"You can't know."

Her hand went into her sleeve, and came out holding a small dagger. The following second, it was already approaching the woman's throat. Mary didn't pick the throat for any reason in particular; only because it was close and convenient to stab. And that would just be the first of many, many more stabs to come, each more anxiously delivered than the last one.

Mary was going to be fine. Because she was going to keep her own secret safe at all costs.

IT'S STABBING TIME!
no mary no!

The woman was still preoccupied with the pack of medical supplies, only thinking to look up when Mary said something. "What? Know-"

The pack was dropped on the grass. The woman's eyes went wide.

Blood.

So much blood.

It poured from her neck around the embedded knife, like a stream parting around a rock. Her eyes looked at Mary in shock, confusion, and pleading. Pleading for life. Pleading to know why.

One of her hands grabbed at Mary's dress, grasping, pulling in vain. Her eyes dilated, and her head slumped forward, but the grip on Mary's dress remained, even as Mary pulled out the knife and began to stab again, and again.

Four more times she stabbed before the woman's body finally disappeared in a blur, leaving Mary on the ground with a blood soaked knife and dress.

Of course, Cole, Sadness, and Twilight hadn't been far behind. They had caught up in time to see when Mary was just pulling the knife out of the woman's neck, and had seen the rest after that.

Soon, many people showed up to the fray. Even the alien, Peridot, lowered her weapons. Kouta already lowered his. He was ready to get out of his transformed state. He closed the Lock on his belt and took it off. His armor shined brightly for a bit before it faded out of existence. Tiny bit of Strawberry dew emerged from the dispersing armor as Kouta revealed his face to the people.

He still had the blue undersuit, but other than that, Kouta was good. Kouta blushed when Lune complimented him.

"T-thanks." He said. When Peridot began to aim her Arm Cannon again, he didn't try to transform again. He recognized that there was some reasoning to her.

"W-wait a moment!" Kouta tried to say to Peridot. Ben then transformed into Diamondhead.

"E-eh!?" Kouta had always fought monsters, but he hasn't seen a human change into one before. However, as Ben posed and talked, he was calmed again. Kouta looked at his belt. Perhaps he was on edge thanks to the past few battles and that brief bit of information regarding him being a lab rat.

He sighed and stretched his arms and legs out. Kazuraba Kouta needed a lot of unwinding.

Oh good gosh I didn't think this would really happen but here we are

Even though she was being carried under one arm, Sadness strained her neck to see the trees whipping past them. It was nice going fast, for once. She would have just enjoyed the ride if it weren't for her missing friend. "Mary?" she called, trying to scan the forest. "Ma -"

They found her.

Sadness' eyes went wide. She started to struggle and flail until Cole dropped her, and from there she curled up on the dirt and covered her eyes to block out the sight. She never looked up, even when the stabbing sounds stopped, and only dully watched Twilight's horn start to glow. It was nice. Sparkly.

Sadness took a ragged breath, but there wasn't anything to say.

Koishi's brilliant plan of distracting the Knight long enough for everyone to get behind him and push relied on the giant metal man not being able to fly. Cole came to a stop when they reached the one known as "Mary" and looked on as the girl stabbed a woman, until somehow the woman's body vanished. Sadness wriggled out of his grip and seemed to be hiding her face on the ground, and Twilight's horn began to glow. Under different circumstances he might have taken a moment to recognize the fact a purple unicorn was part of the entourage here, but he was distracted.

"Blood...so much blood, why, why, why did you do this, I was trying to help you..." he spoke, in that strangely trance-like way. Then, an abrupt shift in his voice, becoming harsher, tinged with a frighteningly unstable tone. "Fake people, fake plants, the entire city, they know, they know, but I will keep my secret safe, I will...you can't know..."

He shook his head slightly as though to clear the scene from his head, but just started over again. "Paint...blood, not paint, no...no. This is not blood, they will know, I'm not real...stop it stop it stop mocking me!"

He shook his head again, reaching back to draw his daggers, keeping them at his sides, ready to fight. "You killed her...she just wanted to help you and you killed her!"

Blinking her eyes in surprise as Ben began to show off and transformed in front of her, Ranma's gaze sharpened yet again when she was met with what looked like either a gorilla or a caveman made from crystal. This transformation seemed a lot more like something that a villain would go for, though seeing as he still had the mannerisms of a ten year old boy, the neo-girl simply mentally shrugged and accepted it with her flexible way of thinking.

"That's pretty cool. Ya get longer reach, defense and endurance spikes up, and you can fight head on without having to worry about squishy bits. Side effects are less flexibility and speed, hm?" Looking at the alien transformation with a clinical gaze of a well-learned martial artist that faced many a supernatural menace, the pigtailed student instantly picked up on the advantages/disadvantages of the form. "Mm. Very useful. Ya also look somewhat like Miss Trigger Happy over there too." Jerking a finger over to where Peridot was, she compared the two. "Got some differences too though."

Bloody Mary (Forest) - Out in the Open

Mary did not feel either better or worse after the woman fell to the floor dead. It wasn't about feeling good or bad. It was about keeping her secret safe.

Then something very strange happened: she started floating.

Hey, what's going on? Put me down!"

It was at that point that she saw them. Twilight, staring directly at her with a glowing horn; Sadness, looking at Twilight's horn; and Cole... starting to talk. About fake people and fake plants, about blood and paint, about her secret...

He was talking about her secret. Right next to Sadness.

"Hey, stop!" Mary yelled, struggling as much as she could to free herself from Twilight's levitation. "Stop talking! Stop it!"

Every sentence, every word, it all added to Mary's efforts. If Sadness found out it'd be the end of her friendship. She'd be alone. The mere thought of losing her friend because of someone who just wouldn't shut up was causing her to behave less like a restrained girl and more like a feral animal, flailing her entire body around in a desperate attempt to return to the ground and forcibly close the man's mouth shut.

"SHUT UP!"

In the end, however, it was all for naught. Cole finished his trance uninterrupted, and Mary's flailing stopped entirely. Her eyes quickly started darting back and forth between the man that had ruined everything, the pony that prevented her from stopping him, and the friend she didn't want to lose. At no point did she let go of the bloody dagger in her hand.

Several seconds passed until her voice was heard again. Her blue eyes focused on Sadness, and what came forth was a trembling voice filled with fear.

"Sadness...?" the girl called, deciding to leave the other two aside for the time being; her friend was top priority. "Don't leave me..."

After a couple of trees were riddled with Diamondhead's little crystals, he put his hands on his hips and smirked. "So? How was it?" he asked the group. When Ranma pointed out he looked like Peridot, he glanced over at the Gem, who looked pretty dejected at the whole thing. "Yeah, this is the alien I said I thought they looked like," he told Ranma. He looked at his arms... they were a lot bigger than he remembered.

"Of course, I looked a lot less like some kinda troll when it wasn't the fairy tale day," he admitted, sighing. "Diamondtroll. It doesn't have the same ring to it," he muttered.

Edge of the city

Rex was screwed, Marcus had recognized him. Even if he couldn't see Plague Knight, Specter Knight, and Sinon facepalming, he knew he had thrown away his only opportunity to temporarily get rid of Marcus on his own.

But still, he had seen worse, he just had to play it cool. Distract him a bit and attack him as soon as he had the opportunity.

"Ah, yes I get that all the time. You probably confused me with some celebrity. I can write an autograph if you want. For Marcus or Mark?"

As soon he was finishing the last sentence, Rex created one a pair of giant metallic boots (which now also sported several colors just to remind him he was a clown now) and kicked the ultramarine as hard he could, probably because his life depended on it.
