Arcade chuckled as Cole bombarded him with questions. He suspected it would be one of the easiest questions he would answer in the City. He considered how to explain to someone from a universe that probably hadn't made the kind of scientific advancements his had.
"Well," he started, "they're a hold-over from our ancestors. At first, humans were animals that needed claws. Our ancestors became smarter and, eventually, we were born. We have a lot of things that were useful before we became humans."
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."
Ciri - Buffet
Ciri nodded knowingly at Seiga. She had no idea what in the hell a minecart was, but at this point it seemed like having people trying to explain the concept was a losing prospect, so it would be easier to just see it herself."So it's agreed, then," Ciri said. "We will examine this Roller Coaster when we are ready to move out. After that, it would be good to know where a good blacksmith or apothecary has their store."
Looking down at her food, she realized she had nothing to drink. She quickly teleported over to the counter to pull a pint of ale off of it and blinked back to her own seat. Now satisfied that she had all of the essentials of a Witcher's breakfast - as well as pancakes and sausages - she took a sip of her drink before continuing on the pancakes.

The others seemed to be interested in this new ride, but Caro pointed out how Cole and Fate might not be too keen to get on that considering their reaction to the previous ride, which was a fair point. The suggestion to take turns was a pretty good one too.
"sure, then how about you girls go first? then arcade and i can go next," he suggested.
He then looked over to Cole as he proceeded to ask Arcade questions about... fingernails, of all things. This was actually enough to give Sans some pause.
"man, i almost can't believe that you don't usually look like a little kid. you're a three years old child in pretty much every way," he commented offhandedly.

"No, I said drago, not dragon," Lucas corrected back. "Dragos are gentle reptiles that walk on two legs, have small arms, and are pretty big. Dragons... the only one I know about apparently is strong enough to destroy and remake the world, and did that while I was in the city... I didn't get a chance to see it but it was probably the size of the whole Nowhere Islands. That's not important though."
So, Yoshika wanted a dog? He could understand that, he would love to have Boney here right now, but it was easier said than done to just find a stray dog... were there even animals in this city? Lucas couldn't quite recall if he had seen any. Still, there was no way he'd try putting her mood down by saying anything to that effect. He said "Well, if we do find a dog I might be able to help train it. I did a lot of stuff with Boney, even if it felt like he wanted to be the one walking me instead of the other way around, and he even fought alongside my friends and I. It's worth a try to go searching."
And, assuming there was nothing else, Lucas would start searching with her.

Streets ~ Thrill Seeking
As soon as they came across the roller coaster, Arf looked it up and down. Judging by the very approving grin on her face, her answer was apparent before she even opened her mouth.
"You don't even have to ask me," she replied to Sans. Then she turned to Fate. "How about it, Fate? Are you willing to give this another go?"
Fate didn't respond to Arf immediately as she examined the ride herself. At first, she just frowned. Then she looked away from it at Caro when she suggested taking turns, and her frown went from apprehensive to thoughtful. Then she looked at the ride again. Finally, she raised a hand to Bardiche.
"Bardcihe, set up."
"Yes sir."
At that, there was a brief gold flash as Fate changed from her civilian outfit to her barrier jacket. As soon as the transformation was over, she gave herself a brief look over to see how it changed. Although she wasn't able to see it, she still had face paint and the fake fangs. The ribbons tying her pigtails went from being simple ribbons to bat-shaped hairclips. Her new shirt was sleeveless and still purple, with a golden bat just underneath her collar. Her skirt, meanwhile, had gotten frillier; the top of it has become purple, the middle was green, and the bottom was gold. Two more bat-shaped markings decorated the backs of her gloves, which had become gold and went up to her elbows. Her usual boots had also become gold, coupled with green thigh-high stockings.
Her look was completed by a pair of fake bat wings attached to her back in lieu of her usual cape, which didn't quite cover up the fact her new shirt also revealed a bit of her upper back. If one looked past the wings, they might have noticed the number of lacerated scars Fate sported there. Bardiche, for the time being, remained in his mask-like standby mode.
Once she was done, Fate gave Arf a brief affirmative look, before turning to the others as if to ask what they thought of her new outfit.
"I'm going to take that as a yes," Arf replied with a nod, before she turned to Caro. "What Sans suggested sounds perfectly fine to me, so how about we tackle this thing? I'm going to, regardless of what everyone else thinks."
Regardless of response, she'd then go to get in line. Fate, on the other hand, waited for Caro first before following after her familiar.

THE SLORG!
The first response heard over Nails' radio and by Curly directly was Wells' voice. "There's a young man who can read minds, but I don't think he can directly affect them. I'd suggest trying the hospital... Why do you ask?"
Shortly after came the voice of Fastanook, sounding a little out of breath and also there was faintly the voice of someone else in the background yelling at him. "I'll come help with this emergency- it's an emergency, right? The hospital sounds good, I'll meet you guys there!"
Nails, looking a little confused, transmitted back, "Well, uh... Look I'm really sorry boss, but you'll just have to take my word for it that I can't explain it now. I promise I'll tell you sometime later."
Silanea didn't say anything yet, though slowly glanced up at Curly before looking down again.
Brother Marcus didn't reply, either because he didn't hear Kamina or he didn't care.note
Meanwhile, Bergree walked up, wringing his hands a bit nervously. "Well, thank you but um... Just a guess, but you're new here aren't you? Most people here know by now not to mess with him. Also I'm not a, 'beastman', I'm a drider" Bergree said to Kamina. "Regardless, I am Bergree Valdyn of the house Aleanrahel. It is my pleasure to meet you, Kamina, leader of Team Dai-Gurren" the drider continued, pausing slightly before holding out a hand for a handshake and adding, "this is how humans generally greet each other, right?"
Soldier's rocket would fail to fire, the gun acting as if jammed. Since he was indoors, he would've been launched up into the ceiling, which would have hurt, so the day conditions prevented it.
"Um, you might want to go outside first, sir" one of the Miss Tairee copies suggested to him.
The one on the device talking to Engineer gave him a simple, "then goodbye, sir" before pressing the button to hang it up; the device vanished a moment after.
"I was referring to the events that were shown" Del'Guk's left head said, and pointed his left arm at the theater screen. "That was events from your past, correct? Including you using such power just to get petty revenge on those other two children" his right head elaborated.
"My world..? It seems like there's always conflict in my world. Especially between the 'Alliance' of men, Elves, and other races that are more familiar to them, against the Horde led by the orcs" Del'Guk's left head then answered Ben. "Our people are on the side of the Horde" his right head added simply.
"I don't know if you're ever gonna get a chance to shine on your own here, Ben. If that's what you're looking for" Chuck said to Ben, his tone both sympathetic and trying to be reassuring. "There's plenty of other high profile heroes here, so any fight you get into with a big villain is probably gonna have some of those other guys involved too. But hey, everybody loves a good hero team up!" the Fanboy explained, giving a big grin and two thumbs up.
From somewhere nearby the roller coaster entrance, there was some chattering of voices on a walkie talkie, then the group there could hear the hasty voice of Fastanook. "I'll come help with this emergency- it's an emergency, right? The hospital sounds good, I'll meet you guys there!" Fastanook was saying as he ran, vaulting over a short fence that sectioned off one of the ride's internal areas. He sprinted right past the group, giving them a brief glance of only faint familiarity; he seemed to be wearing a dracula outfit like Ben's, with a pattern of orange bat shapes on the black cape.
"Fastanook! Come back here!" another voice was yelling at the same time, and a second gremlin came into view, chasing Fastanook. Not that any of them were particularly familiar with gremlin dimorphism, but from the higher pitched voice, the smaller and slightly thinner build, and the Mrs. Claus style outfit, it was a reasonable guess that this gremlin was a girl. She had some trouble vaulting over the little fence as quickly as Fastanook had, and thus he had an obvious lead on her; so, she stopped in front of the group, panting as she seemed to realize she wouldn't be catching up to him. She stamped one foot on the ground in frustration, then screamed out at him, "FINE! YOU DIRTY TRAITOR!" As she then stood there and caught her breath, she was frowning with grit teeth, and her eyes were starting to water.

Ben winced away from Del'Guk a little, once he explained his world. Not only was he the enemy of humans from his world, his world certainly sounded very savage. A group called the Horde didn't exactly sound on the up and up. "Uhhh, okay then," Ben stated. "You mean there's always war in your world? What did this Alliance do to you guys? What were you guys doing?"
He glanced over the Fanboys, who tried to tell him that he wouldn't exactly get to be the big hero in the City. He nodded, looking disappointed but understanding. "That stinks," he muttered. "But yeah... I guess working with a bunch of heroes would be pretty awesome. If people wouldn't stop leaving my group."
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.
Dragon Roller Coaster entrance - Literally scarring experiences
Arf seemed quite excited at the prospect of the new ride and readily agreed to going on it. Fate meanwhile, seemed to have decided first to execute her earlier idea of putting her barrier jacket before getting on the ride. The result was ... Interesting. It seemed similar to her previous costumes, but with a heavy bat motif tacked on to it.
More importantly though, as Fate turned around, she managed to catch a glimpse of the skin left exposed in her back and thus some of the scars etched ... She winced a bit as she realized the implications ... Most spells wouldn't leave marks like those and in anycase, given what she already knew, she also already had a prime suspect in mind ... It had been clear already that Presea had inflicted quite a bit of verbal and emotional abuse on the poor girl, but she had never known that the horrid treatment included beatings as well ... Her eyes narrowed a bit and she felt quite sickened and angry over the whole matter. She did her best to reign herself in and not show it. Fate could easily take it the wrong way and feel like the reaction was directed at her and that and/or bringing up the matter at the moment could easily jeopardize the clearly still fragile recovery she had been making so far. It was best to let the matter to rest for now, le her enjoy the day and possibly deal with it at a better time. And so instead, she gave what she hoped would still come out as a approving nod and an encouraging smile in response to her questioning look regarding her new appearence.
Sans had approved of her idea and suggested that she and the other two girls go first, which Arf also readily agreed to, as did Fate, if a bit more relunctantly. In anycase, Cole and Arcade seemed otherwise occupied, with former appearing to be fascinated with fingernails and unlikely to want to go on and/or enjoy the ride anyway ...
"That works for me as well. I'll leave my things here then, since they would probably get scattered all over the place otherwise," Caro then said, slipping the wand into her bag and then leaving the latter on the ground next to the skeleton.
Arf then pressed on towards the line and as she made to follow, so did Fate. They probably didn't get much far before someone rushed by, yelling something about an emergency and the hospital. Today, that couldn't be anything physical related, so it was probably some kind of emotional or mental breakdown, which was still rather serious. That person had gotten too far off for them to inquire on the matter, but it seemed like they had left a companion behind as well, who seemed quite upset over it.
So quite clearly concerned, she then asked the woman, "Um ... What's the matter? What's this emergency?"

While Kamina was making friends with the drider man, Simon continued his meet and greet with the boy who was listening to whatever strange sound device he had. Simon made the first contact just because of it seemed like the nice thing to do. Now that he answered his questions, Simon didn't really know what to do with them. He never been with a kid his age. Well, there was Yoko but he had a problem with talking to her. Two problems to be exact. Simon itched the back of his head and then asked Shinji, "So, ahhh, what's your name?"

For a moment, Del'Guk went silent, grimacing a little, so Chuck filled in. "If it's the world I'm thinking of, the Horde were probably the aggressors. It depends though; the Horde and Alliance have a lot of wars- and sometimes they have to team up against other threats" Chuck explained.
"The Alliance, working peacefully with the Horde? Surely you're joking" Del'Guk's left head said. "The Alliance despises the Horde" his right head added in.
"Well yeah, coming charging in from another dimension pillaging and razing everything kinda sets a poor first impression, you know? Still, the Horde kind of mellows out after they stop getting manipulated by evil demons pulling the strings; and working with their former enemy that's calmed down is preferable when the alternative is the whole world ending" Chuck responded. "Or something like that. It's been a while since I've played those games" the Fanboy added.
"... What" Del'Guk's left head muttered, rendered a bit speechless. "How can I be sure you're even talking about my world, and not another?" his right head asked.
"The place is called Azeroth, right? Your leader is a guy named... Thrall? Doomhammer?" Chuck started guessing, pausing at that as Del'Guk's eyes widened on both heads. "Hah! See, I knew it" the Fanboy stated simply.
"Huh?" the gremlin muttered, glancing over at Caro and only just seeming to realize that there was an audience. The gremlin wiped her eyes for a moment, then spoke up. "I don't know, I wasn't listening to that. Something about someone shrinking? I think it's just an excuse though" she said honestly, occasionally sniffling.
"Fastanook's avoiding me, I can tell. Even though we were getting along so well considering he's a dirty traitor" the gremlin continued, practically growling out the last bit, though something about it sounded insincere, like she didn't really mean it. "It started yesterday after that weird announcement, and then he heard a message over his hand communicator, and freaked out. Is he hiding something from me? Why won't he just tell me?" she went on, though the question seemed to be more thought out loud than towards anyone in particular.
"Bergree" Bergree corrected Kamina simply, though politely. "You shouldn't underestimate him. He's one of the most dangerous warriors here" the drider added, glancing up at where Brother Marcus had went, though the space marine was out of sight now.
"But, well, what of my other question? Are you new here?" Bergree then reminded Kamina.

Cole tilted his head at Arcade's explanation of fingernails being useful before humans were human. He looked down at his own hand for a moment, frowning a little. "I...I don't think I had those before I became human..."
Sans made a comment about it being clear that he was a kid, and Cole made a face. "I'm not a child," he said. "I mean, I am one now, so I can be one, but usually no, I'm not."
That argument was interrupted by a couple of people suddenly rushing past them, with shouting and general mayhem. Cole yelped and immediately latched on to Arcade's leg, hugging tightly and staring at the female gremlin with wide eyes.
It occurred to Arcade that a spirit-turned-human would find his explanation quite confusing. "No, no," he stuttered, "not individual humans, humans as a species-"
He was interrupted by a commotion near the roller-coaster, which was heading away from the ride and towards them. Arcade watched impassively; inter-personal drama was not his strong-suit. When Cole grabbed his leg he nearly jumped out of his skin. When he realized who it was, however, he placed a hand on Cole's head in an attempt to calm him down.
He looked at the woman with sympathy, despite being on Fastanook's side when it came to keeping certain things from people- even those you care about. "Perhaps he simply feels he can take care of whatever it is he's not telling you on his own," he suggested, "I can understand that need to keep your problems to yourself."
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."

"yup, you're in the 'i'm not a kid' stage. though it usually doesn't start at three years old," said Sans, in response to Cole, shaking his head slightly.
Sans watched as Fate also changed costumes, hers wasn't too different compared to Caro's, but looking at all the scars she had... For a little kid like her, that was a pretty nasty. Just what kind of person was this mother of hers?
His thoughts were derailed once that one guy from the militia that was in the air vents with him in the space day showed up, apparently in a hurry about something. By the time Sans heard the girl that was going after him wanting to get some answers, it was too late for him to really do anything about it. Maybe next time.
"well, if he started freaking out after that announcement, then that probably has something to do with the calls home we can do today. he's probably trying to hide from something that happened back in his home." Sans shrugged. "what's up with the 'dirty traitor' thing, by the way?"
This was gonna delay things a bit, so they should at least make it delay as little as possible. He looked at Caro, who was obviously concerned about the whole thing.
"you girls go ahead and get on the ride, i'll try to help here in the meantime," he told them, clearly directed at all of them though he was looking specifically at Caro.
Roller Coaster ~ Interrupting Drama
Despite Caro's otherwise approving expression, Fate got the impression there was something bothering her. Did she really not like her new appearance and was just hiding it to make her feel better? Or was there something else she was missing here?
She didn't get the chance to muse on it further before some furry being ran right past them, followed by a similar being screaming about how the person she was chasing was a "dirty traitor." Normally, this was a scene they'd mull over for a couple moments before moving on, but today it wasn't just Fate and Arf. The rest of the group seemed a little more interested in consoling and questioning the newcomer.
Arf scowled in clear disapproval at the interruption, before shaking her head and sighing. "I'm going ahead without you if this takes too long to resolve."
For the time being, neither she nor Fate saw the need to get directly involved. They stayed where they were, watching and listening.

Kamina then looked at X and asked him, "So, what's up with you? You look almost as armored as my Gunmen!......and do you only have one hand? With a weapon attached to where it would be!? That's pretty hardcore man!"
Roller Coaster - No time for drama, got a troubled child to cheer up
So it seemed that she didn't know what the matter was and was mostly just mad at her companion for ditching her, apparently constantly. There was not much they could do about whatever that emergency had been and while she was still worried about what was going with the woman, Sans was probably right. Glancing over at Fate and Arf for a bit, it seemed they were trying to not get involved it was probably for the best. Drama like this was definitely not what Fate needed right now. She then glanced over at the roller coaster, she was still not sure if the other mage would like, though she hoped she did and that it would cheer up a bit. At the very least, it should distract her from more troubing thoughts ...
Although still a bit relunctantly, Caro nodded at Sans and said, "Alright ... I'll leave it up to you then ..." she walked back over to him and rummager through her bag for her phone and headset, she then added, "I'll take these in case something happens from this that makes so you have to leave the area," she then connected the headset to her phone and proceeded to put the former on. She then securely tucked her phone in a pocket. Giving that there was a section where the ride seemed to go upside down, she decided to leave her hat in the bag for now.
She then turned towards Fate and Arf, simply saying, "Well, let's keep going then," having no doubt that the latter would more than willingly and immediately go with and that the former would then probably follow as well. So then restarted towards the line.
Once it was close to their turn, she saw that the vehicle was much like the one she had woken up in the other day, with each section holding two seats. As such, since her companions would almost certainly sit together, she would go for the next over from them. As for Fried, it seemed he had decided he would have more fun following them alonside by flight.
Once the vehicle was fully loaded, the ride would then properly start. The whole thing was then lifted up towards the first, rather tall hill. Once it reached the top, there was only a brief moment to take in the sights from so up high and then they made the descent. Feeling the incredible rush of speed, she did like she had seen a few other riders from watching the thing go by and lifted up her arms, as well as screaming a bit.

I just want to help!
Cole turned his head to look up at Arcade when he was patted on the head for apparent reassurance. He had to admit he appreciated it, though he thought he would rather there was nothing to need reassuring about.
Still, the lady seemed to need help, and Sans had said he would try to help. Maybe he could help too.
With some obvious reluctance, Cole let go of Arcade's leg and wandered over to the woman, hugging his stuffed rabbit as he did, and offered her a hesitant, shy smile.
"We...we c-can try to h-help...i-i-if you...if you need help..."
The Streets
X pondered what he meant by one hand, until he realized he had switched on his X-buster. He switched back and waved.
"I'm sorry about that, my name is Mega Man X, you can call me X for short. I'm a reploid."
Screw the Lion!
Plague Knight had found himself falling asleep after speaking with Mona. Upon waking up, he immediately decided to quietly leave the library. He felt oddly drained, in mind instead of body, and sought to instead work on his laboratory and save Silanea for later. He heard about a party over at this place called a "cinema", probably the movie theater. He would look into that later.
For now, he pushed the shopping cart, by now a very familiar sight to the alchemist, across the aisle. He already gathered various supplies and ingredients, but the fact entire sections of the market was now themed after different holidays made choosing supplies slightly more difficult.
"What's this?" Plague Knight said as something caught his eye, picking up said object. "There's a place out there that actually considers rabbit droppings to be a delicacy - no, wait, its chocolate confectioneries," he said, clearly annoyed as he put the box of chocolates back. "I fail to see the economical merit in basing a product on juvenile outhouse humor....." he said as he continued to pushed the cart.

For the Horde!
Everything Del'Guk was saying about his world (and the fanboys were corroborating) wasn't standing well with Ben. They were called the Horde, they were the aggressors in a war against the humans in the Alliance, they were controlled by demons, and their leader was apparently a guy named Doomhammer.
If it wasn't a break day he would probably consider Del'Guk a bad guy, but this was neither the place nor the time right now.
Ben looked really nervously at Del'Guk and then looked at the doorway out of the cinemas. He frowned.
"Well, I should be heading out," he told the two-headed ogre. "I gotta keep looking for this king, maybe Jack, maybe whoever it is, I dunno. But time's a wasting here," Ben stated, starting to move towards the door of the cinema, not running, but certainly not slowly.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.

"But he's been acting really suspicious too!" the gremlin complained after Arcade's comment. "When we met he said I looked familiar, then he asked me about my ear mark too" she explained, fidgeting with her right ear for a moment. On the back of said ear was a spot where the fur was colored black instead of brown, in a shape that seemed roughly like a teardrop with a line through it.
After Sans asked about the traitor remarks, the gremlin looked like she only just then remembered that other people wouldn't have known what she was talking about. "Oh, well, he is. He's one of the Emberlight gremlins, who have turned against king Tinkinzar" the gremlin explained, then placed a hand to her chest. "As a loyal member of the Ironclaw clan, I would kill him for being the dirty traitor that he is, if not for the fact that we can't die here... And besides..." she trailed off, seemingly lost in thought for a moment.
She then brought her hands up to her cheeks as they visibly flushed even through her fur, and her eyes went wide and stared off at nothing in particular. "He's just so dreamy! His smooth and clean fur, his white, sharp teeth, his tall and toned body, his fluffy tail, his sharp eyes- and when we kissed it was like magic" the gremlin thought out loud, and let out a sigh of content. She was so lost in her own little world at the moment that she didn't hear Cole's offer, or had forgotten that he'd made it, instead still silently staring off into the distance with her mouth slightly open.
"Well... My apologies then to be the one to inform you that you are currently trapped here" Bergree said to Kamina apologetically. "This is an alternate universe, you see. Nothing here exists except for this city and us in it, and we've all been brought here from other universes just like you. You should be wary and prepared, to see things that would not and possibly could not exist in your own universe; that is the main reason you should stay cautious about Brother Marcus. However much he may look familiar to things you know in your universe, you should not expect him to fight like anything you know; or be as easy to defeat" the drider explained to the man.
"... And I'm afraid that's not even the half of it. I'm sure you've noticed your clothes being different? Perhaps you've noticed that you can't come to harm here? That is only for this day, as each day this city changes; possibly itself, possibly us, sometimes both. Our clothes, our weapons, our magic, even our very bodies have all been subject to change" Bergree continued.
"Doomhammer's pretty far back as I remember. You know, we should show you some of the stuff that'll happen in your world's future; let you be prepared for some of the shit that's gonna go down" Chuck offered to Del'Guk, their conversation petering out of Ben's hearing as he left. Melanie of course followed him, staying close behind.
"So kid- Ben, what were you saying about your group?" Melanie asked Ben as they walked.
In the lobby of the cinema, Calvin and Silvester were now there, having just distributed some bags of holding with various things in them for the other Fanboys to unpack. They seemed to be in the middle of casually talking about how they couldn't get hurt today, when Silvester turned to Calvin.
"Hey wait a minute then. Calvin, throw a punch at me, as hard as you can" Silvester told the other Fanboy. Calvin looked a little uncertain for a moment, but then did as he asked, the swing stopping abruptly right before it would have impacted Silvester. "... Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he then asked the other Fanboy.
"... I'm not sure. What are you thinking?" Calvin asked in return.
Silvester took a step back, then went into what seemed like it was supposed to be a martial arts pose. "Come on, come on!" Silvester said in an imitation of a certain character voice, making a 'come at me' motion with one hand.
Calvin stared for a moment before it seemed to click, and he put his feet a bit apart, crouched slightly, then moved his arms down to his side with his fists clenched. Then he raised his head back and started letting out a long, "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" that increased in tempo slowly.
Then as suddenly as he'd started yelling, he stopped, then rushed Silvester, swinging his arms and legs at the other Fanboy while imitating impact noises with his mouth. Silvester started punching both his fists forward at Calvin as fast as he could, letting out a scream of "ATATATATATATATATATATATA!" as the flurry of harmless blows went.
"Man, what weirdos" Melanie muttered, though had a somewhat goofy grin on her face.

"I'm not sure I'd call it an emergency..." Curly muttered uncertainly at Fastanook's reply as she listened and continued to hold Silanea while trying to think about what to do next. "...But maybe finding someone to talk to would help a little? We know there's at least going to be one non-human there at the hospital and it's probably quieter than here, we could check it out for a bit when you're done eating. And I'll be there to make sure there's nothing weird happens if you'd like." She gave a smile in hopes of convincing the Lamia that she just wanted to help "It's gotta be better than moping around all day at least"
Roller Coaster ~ High Velocity
"From what I've seen of you so far, I was expecting you to take a little longer," Arf said as soon as Caro rejoined them, before she cracked an audacious grin, "Never mind. Let's see what this is going to be like!" Then she glanced over at the group dealing with the furry being. "Maybe we'll see what's going on over there if they're still at it by the time we're done here."
At that, she and Fate simply waited, with Arf occasionally flicking her tail impatiently, until it was their turn to board it. Arf's gaze flicked briefly towards the very front seats, then she glanced at Fate, who was eyeballing the very back.
"...How about somewhere in the middle?" she asked, to which Fate simply nodded and smiled. At that, they took the first empty car in that general area.
As the car moved up the first hill, Arf tightly grasped the handlebars, looking very much like she was getting ready to run a marathon. Fate, meanwhile, just took in the sights of the city as they climbed higher and higher, with the occasional amused expression in her familiar's expression. As they reached the very top, Arf cracked a toothy grin. Fate's eyes widened as she saw what was ahead of them, before she reached up and pushed Bardiche against her face.
Then the drop happened. Arf let out a pleased laugh that lasted practically all the way. Fate seemed to be focusing more on making sure Bardiche wasn't going to get pulled off her face and maybe readying herself in case something flew towards her head.

Ben smiled at the two Fanboys play-fighting and he laughed, grinning at the two and then looking back towards Melanie as he exited the cinema.
"As I was saying... I feel like people keep leaving the City Knights, or that we can't really keep people together. Louie's got really mad at me for something I apparently said, though I don't think I said anything bad or wrong to him. Caro never hangs out with the City Knights, only ever staying around Sans. Lune vanished a couple days ago..." Ben explained, sighing as he walked down the cheesy valentine streets.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.
Cole looked up at Arcade's question, blinking at him for a long second, then lifted up Arcade's hand as high as he could from his newly decreased height, trying to show him his own fingers. "I know why animals have claws, but why do people have fingernails? They don't cut through meat or climb trees. ...sometimes Dorian paints mine when he's bored. Are they just to be decorations? Don't you think they're strange? Why would people have things that aren't claws and don't do anything?"
He seemed to have nearly forgotten that the others were there, or that the roller coaster was being considered as their next course of action, apparently completely bewildered by this "discovery" he had made.
