"Ow, jeez, no more riding on the shoulder" Bill Clinton said as Genji started to leave.
"Yeah, agreed" the other man said as he got up off the ground.
Bill Clinton looked around, and noticed Genji leaving. "Oh, uh, bye! Maybe we'll see you around!" Bill Clinton called out, waiting awkwardly for a moment before thinking out loud, "... That's also the direction we're going." The two men casually followed after towards the library, not in any hurry.
"Alright, I'll make my way straight there" Louie's voice answered on the radio.
"Would you follow someone's request if they asked you to punish yourself?" the toga wearing Miss Tairee commented idly, before pointing to the door to the Day 22 zone. "It's that door, Ben" the librarian told him simply.
"We just wait around here for other people, I guess" Blue commented as he, John, and Hartwig walked into the center area of the arena. Blue blurred and changed into a child version of himself, glancing down at his cardboard styled armor. He was just about to comment on this, when he blurred again and became like his normal self, except all his blue armor and equipment changed to orange. "... Okay then" the terrarian stated idly.
"Hey, look" Hartwig commented, one of his few fully legible statements, as he pointed to one of the other entrances where Silanea was slithering in, currently her younger self. There were people starting to gather in the audience stands already, but no others had come into the arena yet, aside from some medieval crossbowman guy.
The sound of rocket engines approached, and the Thunder Child came soaring into view above the rim of the colosseum, coming to a stop and lowering down. Ropes lowered over the sides, and Wells repelled down, currently in recolored, edible clothes. Other militia members were coming down as well in various day conditions, but notable was the pig orcs coming down wearing loincloths, and the lead pig orc was carrying a snapping turtle with him.
"Let's just hope it's not gonna become a battlefield before it even starts" John said in a suspicious tone, already reaching for his (her) rifle as a couple of militia members approached.
"Hold! We don't want to start a fight!" one of the two militia members said as they came closer. "Please identify yourselves!" she added.
Elsewhere in the arena, militia members were cautiously approaching the crossbowman; one militia member casually approached Silanea, waving greeting to her.
All this goings on was fairly visible on the broadcasting screens throughout the city.

Unfortunately, Yuna happened to get a bit distracted by Two's comment of her dress looking sort of like a wedding dress. Indeed, it looked quite fancy, but she wasn't sure it could be considered a wedding dress. Come to think of it, Two was sort of wearing a suit...
That gave her an even sillier idea to the one she'd had earlier.
"I always knew this day would come," the girl exclaimed, taking the opportunity to grasp both of Two's hands. "The time I would marry my best friend on the beautiful beaches where we first met all those years ago..."
Yuna was so focused on her little performance that, although she did hear the announcement that the day challenge would begin shortly, conveniently played through a set of speakers not too far away, she could not make out what had been said.
"Uhhh... what was that? I didn't quite catch it."
"Hello is anyone there-!?1" Genji's eyes bulged from behind his tiki mask as he looked at what could have been the strangest group of people he ever saw. And that's saying something.
Quintuplets (two of which dressed like perverts), a kid in swim trunks wearing a green watch (it looks cool, maybe he should buy one of those), a man with an air of intelligence around him, a little person riding a tiny medivac and a girl...
"So...what is this place? And why did I end up in here? Also nice swimsuit stranger" . He asked the quintuplets.

I just want to help!
Cole looked to Arcade when he was told it was all right to not like the food, though he still grimaced a little at the entire situation. He looked up again when Ben and his friend...the big one...Hercules, that was his name...came in, checking in on things. Eve seemed too busy enjoying her ice cream, and Cole didn't really know what to add.
Mis Tairee interrupted though, with an announcement that, apparently...the day's challenge was ready? Right...the one the Writer told him he would have to win to be able to have what he asked for previously, that he knew the others would win easily, even if he had been able to go compete.
Not that he wouldn't still have a use for a...wish, so to speak, but...no. It was better to let the others fight for it. It seemed as though they were all intent on it anyway.
Cole just let out a small sigh, barely noticing as he pushed himself off the couch the faint blurring and changing that transformed his clothing for the day yet again, and wandered to the nearest Tairee, holding up his arms to her, apparently wanting to be picked up. "...is this day almost done...? I don't like it..."
"She's... we sort of have history together. Kinda. She stood me up and now works for my enemies"
Rex didn't really know why he was sharing that. Ironically enough, talking about the past seemed to make him forget about his present situation, even if they were connected. Or maybe, just maybe, being honest with his feelings was a little bit simpler with Makoto. Sadly, they wouldn't be able to just drive through the library.
"It's fine, I needed to do something first anyway"
Rex got off the bike and walked towards Anat, who was pushing the bike to not call more unnecessary attention to herself. With a quick "Let me carry him" he took Doug from her hand, and walked towards one of the desks. He made sure not to hurt the Mimikyu's little head as he headed to the nearest Tairee, trying to act as if nothing was wrong.
"Uh, we need some help before the challenge starts. Could you take care of him for us?" he petted Doug "And I mean actually taking care of him. I don't want what happened with you know who to repeat itself"

The little group of Miss Tairee turned to look at Genji with a silent, unimpressed expression on each for a moment. "It is as that man told you; you're in an alternate universe now. You've been brought here by my boss, along with everyone else here, to help provide him inspiration, and currently I can read your mind. So please do not stare; I will know that you are" the Miss Tairee in a bikini responded to Genji.
"Here, you may find it helpful to read this first" the holiday Miss Tairee suggested, as she reached over to the pamphlet stand on the desk to grab a pamphlet. Then she turned and held it out towards Genji. "After that if you still have any questions you may feel free to ask, though I may not necessarily answer" the librarian added.
It was about that same time that Rex showed up to the same scene, to which the food day Miss Tairee turned. "Rex, I've already told you several times; I cannot force anyone or anything to stay inside the library if they don't want to" the food day Miss Tairee said to Rex in a very schoolteacher type of tone.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the lobby, the toga wearing Miss Tairee calmly crouched down and picked up Cole. "Sundown's coming soon, Cole. Don't worry, you can just stay here until the day is over" the toga wearing Miss Tairee said gently and encouragingly as she stood back up with Cole in hand.

Library Lobby, Rabbit (in Phantom Thief Outfit)—-Makeshift Plans
“Oh, so she's your...ex-girlfriend and you're fighting against each other now? That'd definitely get complicated.” Rex seemed to have an idea in mind as he took Doug over to Miss Tairee. The pokemon was too busy looking at all the people around them to react much to being carried around, but he did coo at being petted again. Anat didn't immediately stop Rex , interested in what he was planning. He wanted the librarian to take care of Doug, but keeping him here against his will was against her rules. Wait, so she could do that bubble thing, but keeping a baby animal out of danger for a couple of hours wasn't allowed? Makoto grumbled to herself even as Anat finished pushing both the rabbit and bike to catch up with Rex.
”That is...unfortunate,” Anat said to him. ”A good try though.” They could just ask if Miss Tairee would watch him while he was within the library, but Anat could feel Makoto's impatience with searching for loopholes. They could figure another solution out. Anat opened Makoto's bag that Rex was still carrying and dug out a stuffed panda bear. ”We will give him a distraction, and hopefully he will stay in place,” she explained, showing Rex the soft toy. Makoto could already see the people gathering at the Colosseum on the televisions around the lobby, including the Militia, but that wasn't about to scare her off today.
“...It's pretty crowded already,” she said with a rather serious expression for the form she was in.

Cole made a slightly disgruntled noise, checking once as though to be sure Arcade and Eve were still where he'd left them, even though he'd only wandered a few feet, then just leaned against Miss Tairee again. He noticed, at this point, some strange woman coming over, carrying some...odd little creature, asking Miss Tairee to take care of it. The librarian addressing the woman said "Rex" however...right. The day changed on them all, didn't it?
"Rex, I told you that it wasn't a safe day to have a baby," Cole said, almost sounding as though he were scolding.

I took the crown off (it was back now, apparently) on account of how inconvenient it was pulling off the sweater at the same time. I hadn't paid enough attention to look before, but there was a busted black jewel at the center. It fit, somehow...had it been there last time? Well, I supposed I'd hold onto the thing until the chibi hit again.
The seating was...that way? There were people showing up to actually participate already, mostly militia, some less identifiable, a few Rick and Morty. Why so many patrols? Did the whole group want something? Or maybe they were just trying to filter for people who'd abuse this. That sounded about their speed...? I was pretty sure, anyway. Though, if they were here, then...
Silanea was at another entrance near here. Figured she'd be here. I stared, mostly just continuing to feel bad...the idle thought occurred, couldn't the wish bypass all the political frustration and the injustice of letting him mosey on without any consequences, but would she actually try for that with her job, and I probably couldn't get it, and would I even get it right if I did, and what if someone came along with something more...immediate. Why was I on about this, anyway? It's not like I was going in, whatever happens was out of my, hands...
Where the hell was Cascabel.
It must have phased out of my hands while I was distracted, fuck. I didn't see a floating ragdoll in the immediate vicinity, though wait, wasn't it other things earlier 'cause of the day? I tried ticking off everything it'd been, a little kid in a sheet, a banette, a...zorua...and facepalmed. It could look like anything right now, this would be a fun hide and seek game. Whatever, as long as I could make sure it wasn't in the competition area when this started...
Chances are, of course, that it was there right now, so naturally I checked there first, trying to look for an out of place tuft of fur or anyone who didn't look like they had any business being here. There was, uh, Cole with a tail, grabbing Wells's pant leg for some reason, and that was probably the zorua. I ran over to pick it up, hoping this wouldn't get awkward or out of hand (it would, wouldn't it).

"Entertainment? What an arrogant and shallow attitude. But very well, I shall provide entertainment for your boss." He said as he read the pamphlet. The idea of someone with the power to bend reality itself using it for such a petty reason somewhat saddened him.
Huh, looks like he changed yet again. His suit and sword are now green while his lights are light silver. Frankly not that bad. At least he now has a normal sword.
Seeing the kid with the cool watch, Genji decided to introduce himself to one of his new acquaintances. Maybe the child could tell him where he got the watch. Winston would probably like one of those.

Two Is Distracted (Save Us, Caboose and Rean), Beach (Noir)
The announcement about the arena opening up Two met with a sigh. Of course, that was their plan from the very beginning - to go there and retrieve the prize - but she hoped that the merriment of the beach would last just a little longer. "It looks like we'll have to go..." She started before something unusual happened.
Yuna seized her hands and, with absolute earnesty, spoke about marriage on the beach. Two stared blankly at her small pink friend, slowly growing redder all over her face. "...b-bwuh?" All she could muster was an inglorious sputter as her face turned crimson. Reflexively, she squeezed Yuna's hands, holding them securely in hers as she stared at the smaller girl like she was an alien coming for first contact with the mankind. "I... um... e-ehehehe, I'd... I'd love to?" Two laughed nervously, a little unsure of words leaving her mouth.

Ben sighed at Miss Tairee. "Fine," he muttered. "You have a point." At that point, Louie said he would meet Ben at the colosseum. "Got it! Meet you there!" Ben told Louie, before being addressed by a robotic, accented voice he did not recognize. He looked up and his eyes widened at the green shiny robotic ninja that stood beside him.
"Whoa... uh, you talking to me?" Ben asked. "You look totally wicked. I'm guessing you're new here?" He grinned and pointed to himself with his thumb. "I'm Ben Tennyson, leader of the City Knights! We're a hero group dedicated to helping people in need and stopping evil where it comes up! This is Hercules and this is Eve," he introduced, gesturing to his friends when he named them off. He looked over towards the door that Miss Tairee pointed out.
"We're gonna deal with some bad guys over by the colosseum over there. I'm gonna be headed out that direction pretty soon," Ben explained. "Eve, Hercules, you guys can come and follow me. You need any help, new guy? What's your name?" he asked.

"I am Genji Shimada. Hajimemashite. Everyone He introduced himself to the group before looking at Ben. "You are the leader of a group of heroes? Are you not a little too young for that? He asked Ben.
"But no matter, I will go along with you towards the Coliseum if evil is truly there. Oh, before I forget, where did you find that watch?" He said pointing at the watch.

Tairee explained that the rules were clear. She couldn't force anyone to stay in the library, not even if it was for their own good or they could barely understand what a library even was.
"But he's a baby! Can't you... persuade him to stay here away from any fights?"
Thankfully, Anat had an idea. She took a stuffed toy out of Makoto's bag. Distracting him would hopefully keep him in the library where Tairee could keep an eye on him. It was worth a try.
"What do you say? Do you like it?" he asked Doug, handing him the stuffed toy.
Cole noticed the situation. Naturally, he had only had suffered changes in his clothes, at least right now. Lucky. And to make matters worse, he insisted on his warning of earlier in the day, about not having a baby while shapeshifting conditions were in place.
"No, no, no, you've got it all wrong! We didn't have a baby, ok?! We were in a haunted house, it was dark and Doug just showed up out of the blue, and now we are taking care of him because he's basically a puppy"
Library, Rabbit—- Technically We Have A Babysitter
He hadn't been dating Circe then? So was it like what happened with her and Ren? Hm… Doug stared at the panda in awe and grabbed it from Rex's hands, squeezing the stuffed animal in a hug.
“Kyuuu!” he squeaked.
“I believe that is a yes,” Anat said, before taking Doug over to a couch to sit on. ”We will be back by tomorrow at the latest,” she said to the pokemon, lifting her helmet's visor. Her eyes were bright yellow. “Please be good and stay here, okay?” She covered her face again, patted Doug's head and walked back over to the desk.
“He's right, Cole. I, uh, think he was lonely so we took him with us…” Makoto helped Rex explain, still sitting on the motorcycle. She overheard Ben talking with...a cyborg ninja about going to the Colosseum and helping protect the challenge. Hopefully keeping bad guys away didn't include herself and Rex, or this could get messy… “I think we can get going now though.” Anat pushed the motorcycle towards the Roman/Greek entrance.

Beach Zone- Red Knight into Carolina
Caboose was getting into this beach stuff. He had tried having fun in sand before, and tried to pull his friends into it, but... well, the reds and blues didn't always like the games he wanted to play. Especially the ones where he tried to help them. For some reason they all sounded scared whenever he offered help.
Unfortunately, a moment after blurring back into Agent Carolina's body, an announcement had to come to ruin the fun. Caboose could hear it loud and clear over his helmet's radio... though he didn't realize that's what he heard it from. Still, the soldier believed in trusting the voices in his head.
Though before he could do anything to act on this information, Two and Yuna decided that they wanted to get married. This seemed like something that made sense. "Congratulations on your engagement, I am so happy for you both," he said, sounding completely genuine. "But we should go save Yuna's home before we hold the wedding! Otherwise we won't be able to invite the hero club, and that wouldn't be very nice." This was solid reasoning.
"Come on! Let's get to it!" he exclaimed, sounding quite hyped up. The currently cyan armored idiot marched off towards the library, assured that his friends would follow. From there they'd probably be able to reach the challenge, right?

Cole looked a little disbelieving at Rex's denial. "Dogs can take care of themselves just fine," he said, looking back at the little creature.
Still, with the discussions around him, he looked perturbed, then thoughtful, and he squirmed after a moment to get down from Miss Tairee's arms. "Are you going to the challenge? I want to go too. I want to see what it is."

The toga wearing Miss Tairee let out a laugh, and let Cole down. "Ah, priceless; but they are actually telling the truth, Cole" the toga wearing Miss Tairee commented, then looked down to the boy. "Now, you could just watch the challenge from here on one of the screens, Cole. If you really want to go see in person, I can't stop you from leaving, but, you should ask Arcade for permission first" the librarian mentioned to the former spirit.
Meanwhile, the food day Miss Tairee followed Anat to the couch and looked at the little Doug with a smile. "Well of course I'll take care of him and keep him safe while he's here" the food day Miss Tairee said in a very 'no duh' kind of tone. "I just can't make him stay here unless he wants to" the librarian added, then returned her attention to the pokemon and told him, "hopefully your parent will come by this way soon, so don't you worry."
With other people seeming to be asking her repeatedly about it, other of Miss Tairee finally got a bit tired of answering, so there was a blur in the air nearby the door to the classical era zone, as a big, glowing neon sign saying 'ARENA THAT WAY' with an arrow pointing at the door appeared. Still nearby that door was Brother Marcus, having gone through a few day shifts and was now currently in the knightly plate mail and wings that he wore on the fourth day. The bubble around him finally blurred and vanished, relinquishing him to the floor as the child Miss Tairee casually walked away. Brother Marcus glanced up at the sign, seeming to be in thought, then slowly looked around the room at the other people there.
Wells was starting to talk into his walkie talkie when the disguised pokemon got there. "Yes, I'd like you to tell them- huh? Hold on a second" Wells was saying, and glanced down with a confused expression. "When did you get here?" the lieutenant asked.
Meanwhile, Lewis was met with a deep toned, "hold it!" as he would find himself subsequently clotheslined mid run by the arm of one of the pig orcs. "What'chu suddenly running at our boss for, huh?" the pig orc asked as he peered down at Lewis suspiciously.

Cole looked up at Miss Tairee, looking a little...almost suspicious of her affirming that Rex was telling the truth about the little creature, but then just grimaced a little at the second half. He hesitantly, maybe even bordering on reluctantly, wandered closer to Arcade again, shifting a little.
"...Arcade, may I...go to the...the that place, where the challenge will be? ...I don't want to fight, but I want to see what happens..."
Arcade continued to eat his breakfast, staying quiet as the others talked around him. It wasn't until Cole talked to him directly that he felt the need to comment.
"You sure you don't want to just watch from in here?" he asked, "I don't want anything to happen. I mean, if you're sure, I guess. Not without me, though. Obviously."
I say that aloud too sometimes, just: "man, no life."
"That's Morty," said Rick's first head, motioning over to the little purple creature, "and I'm uninterested."

"Today doesn't seem all that bad outside...not like some of the other days. ...if it's like back on the other wish day, I think you could just watch it and see what happens. And I want to see who gets the wish and what they do."
Cole tilted his head back a little, contemplating, before speaking again. "Plus I might need to be there to tell everyone when they're fighting with each other too much and not with the actual thing they're supposed to fight, like in Silanea's mind. Everyone is very bad about doing that when they need to be saving something."
"Like you would know anything about that" Rex thought aloud. Since when had Cole taken care of any pets?
Anat took Doug and sat him on a sofa and tried to get across the message that they would be back soon enough. At least Tairee agreed to help. She pointed out she naturally would keep an eye on a scared and confused baby not get himself hurt while he stayed in the library, like it was an obvious thing. Not to Rex. There were still a lot of confusing things about her and her track record with children was pretty bad.
"Don't be afraid to run away if something bad happens" he whispered to Doug. Then he looked at Tairee again. One of those confusing things still needed to be discussed but time always got in the way "We are not done by the way. About that thing from the other day. I still want answers"
Tairee conveniently put up a sign clearly showing the arena's direction and while Anat was already about to go through there, the effort was appreciated. Rex sat on the bike, again making sure not to sit too close to Anat.
"Please, the sooner we get this over with, the sooner we can go back to more fun stuff"
Library to Roman/Greek Area, Rabbit—- A Metaphorical Middle Finger
Anat rolled her eyes at Miss Tairee's way of speaking, but did hear the comment about Doug's parents. He had those then. Good to know…
“She really has a way with words, huh? Or is the kind setting for children 13 and under?” Anat mumbled, before getting to the correct doorway. Makoto looked over as the bubble nearby disappeared, revealing that Brother Marcus was here. Good thing they were going then…
“Sure, let's go…” Makoto said as Anat sat down in front. The motorcycle revved up and drove into the Roman/Greek section, trying to find the Colosseum via the Militia Airship near it.

"Wow," said Morty, looking around in awe as he stepped into the coliseum. "This, is, uh, woah. Really, y'know, p-pulled out all the stops, here, huh?"
"I dunno, Morty, I've been to nicer gladiatorial coliseums than this. There's this one place *urp* way out on the galactic rim, y'know, Morty... aw man, I should totally take you there some time. It's great. It's a real nice kind of... cyberpunk oeuvre, Morty, th-the Roman theme is kind of played out."
"Huh. I mean, it's impressive, you know, the flat screens and stuff..."
"You're impressed by flatscreen T Vs, Morty? Jeez, you really are your dad's kid." grumbled Rick's other head. "Remind me to take you to a Best Buy some time so I can blow your friggin' mind."
"So, kids, w-what's the plan here?" asked the other side of Rick, craning his neck up and looking around at the bleachers.
