As Gon went back towards his apartment slash hideout, he noted that his weapons appeared to have changed somehow.

"Strange."

He looked at his holstered pistols before he reholstered it, seeing them as cap pistols.

"I don't remember changing guns. Better check again."

City Streets

The name painted above the door made Sinon's eyebrow ratchet up a few notches. "Cap'n Melville's Seafood Shack". Nevertheless there was something telling her this was the place to go to find everyone else.

With a sigh, she pushed the door open, and sat down at a table in the corner. There was certainly a few vaguely familiar faces among the outlet's clientèle, but at the same time they were... different. She figured that just as she'd changed appearance between the days, so had everyone else. But it wasn't just their appearance that had changed. Some seemed older, some seemed younger.

But that didn't happen to me... did it?

"Yup. That tasted purple."

After Ben and Sans had gone off to do their own things, Twilight took a walk. She was thinking about home. Her friends were probably worried sick, and who knows what could be happening in the meantime. What if another threat comes to Equestria and she isn't around to help? Maybe her friends could find a way, but Twilight wasn't sure. All she could do was endure until she was allowed back.

Eventually, Twilight made her way to the library. Just in time to hear Miss Tairee tell the people gathered about what the future in the city held for them. Twilight felt an increasing sense of dread.

What is this "signature" of which people speak?

The restaurant

Ben heard the splat of the eggs hitting the window and glared out at the people throwing eggs. He glanced down at his Omnitrix and smirked.

"So we've got some pranksters, huh? Well let's see what happens when Ghostfreak outpranks them!' He turned the dial on the Omnitrix and slammed onto the display. The restaurant was flooded in green light, and now Ghostfreak was floating there above the table. He turned invisible and floated out onto the city streets.

He followed the eggers, waiting for them to come to another building and toss eggs in front of it. He flew between them and the window, waiting to catch some of the eggs before they hit. He was still invisible, so he was hoping to give the eggers a real fright.

Mary - "Imaginary"

Mary listened to Sadness' story with evident interest as she walked towards the library. The thing she described wasn't quite what she'd call a "drawing person", but it was "imaginary", just like she was. In a way, she was very curious about this Ping-Pong person. But, of course, Sadness needed to know one thing about "imaginary" people.

"Did you know that things that aren't real can become real?" the fabricated woman asked. "If you manage to... uhm..."

She didn't stop talking because she no longer remembered. She stopped because on her way into the library, they just happened to cross paths with someone else: a little blonde girl with long ears, who seemed to be rather sad. Mary didn't really react much to her at first, but in the end she couldn't help turning around and approaching the girl.

"Is everything okay?" she asked, lightly tapping the young elf's shoulder. "You look like something's troubling you."

Sadness perked up slightly, forgetting about Mary's question. Little girls were her forte, and sadness was even more her forte. She immediately wanted to provide comfort to her...whoever she was. That, or accidentally make the girl feel worse. Oh well, it was always darkest before the dawn.

"Uh huh," Sadness piped up, leaning forwards. "What's wrong?"

Balconies -> Heading towards the Library

" Well, if no one can get hurt today, then there's no point in keeping Fried in his unsealed form any longer. Please hold on for a minute while I do something about it," Caro spoke and then lifted her left arm, revealing an acessory that was attached to her wrist. It had two small pink gems and two wing attachments hanging from it. Caro pondered for a moment if she should really reveal herself like this, but then she thought that this definitely not a normal situation nor was this a normal unadministrated world. If someone here was messing around with dimensions and effectively kidnapping all these people, herself, Fried and Sans included, then she would have to do something about it. Plus, with people like Sans around, she probably shouldn't have to worry to much about knowledge of magic around. And since the skeleton had seen Fried already, so there was really no point in trying to hide it. With this decided, she spoke in a clear voice, " Kerykeion, Set Up! Device only!"

From the acessory, a synthetised female voice intoned, " Alright. Get set. "

Pink light flashed around Caro for a brief moment, much shorter than if she were doing a full Barrier Jacket transformation. When the light faded way, she was wearing a pair of blackless gloves, with a large pink gem on the top of each.

Suddenly, an intricate and pink-colored pattern appeared below Caro's feet. She hoped that was assuming it correctly that the strange aging effect this place was having on every one worked differently on each of Fried´s form, so that if it was turning him adult when he was supposed to be sealed, then if she tried to unseal him ... " Dragon Soul Summon!"

Thankfully, it seemed to work, since the dragon started to glow with an intense pink light, before starting to shrink within that light. When the bright light faded away, he was once again in his small, baby-like form. He then proceed to fly to Caro's side.

Another flash of light enveloped Caro, fading after a brief moment, revealing Caro now wearing Kerykeion back in her Standy Mode.

" Oh yeah, I never quite introduce him, did I? " She said while gesturing towards the small silver-colored dragon, " Sans, this my dragon summon Friedrich, Fried for short."

As she spoke of him, Fried gave off a happy " Kyu! ", seemingly having forgiven the skeleton as well for now.

" Anyway, please do take us to where these other people are gathered. " She replied while descending the stairs towards where Sans, with Fried flying along her side. " May we should also get to know each other better on the way. For example, what is the world that you come from like? "

Specter Knight was starting to find Sonic's questions uncomfortable. That last question, the one about his real name, reminded him too much of the life he had before he died.

Without a word, Specter Knight teleported to the Library.

Zelda didn't go far at all, opting to stand just a few feet to the side of the front door. It wasn't enough for her to completely avoid Koishi as she came barreling through, though thankfully a collision was averted on both sides. Zelda briefly stopped and looked after her with a decidedly confused look on her face for a couple moments, before going on her glum way.

Once she stopped, she took her harp and plucked a few strings on it, eventually turning it into the song she knew as the Ballad of the Goddess. It didn't sound quite like she was used to given that the harp was now a toy version of its former self, and Zelda briefly wondered if it was the same harp for a second or two. It was still better than nothing.

While she played, her mind drifted to her current child-like state. Skyloft did consider her an adult, but she was nowhere near the age where she'd start longing for her childhood days. She wasn't so sure if she really liked this at all; besides the fact that she wouldn't be able to reach things she normally could, she also didn't particularly like being treated as a kid.

Her thoughts and song were both interrupted when someone new noticed her and asked if she was all right. Or rather, a pair of someones. She turned to the newcomers, who happened to be woman whose apparent age was much closer to Zelda's actual with a dress that somehow kept flashing multicolors, holding an adorable little blue person. She would have thought the latter was a toy, had it not looked alive and spoke itself.

"...I guess I'm just a little homesick," she eventually said, in the best approximation of her current problem she could manage, "Who might you be?"

"An entire planet of poison? Oooooo, now that would be an excellent research opportunity!" Plague Knight said. "Though if its the infecting agent getting out of hand is something you have trouble with, there are some pointers I can give WHOA!!" The knight found himself spinning around after getting hit by a speeding Koishi.

He looked over to see her at the front desk, and he then overheard the conversation about a trio of major groups forming in the city - a makeshift police force and two gangs. The nonhuman alliance did not bother him, but this Ruckus group seemed intriguing......

He turned to Sawyer. "Plague Knight, alchemist," he greeted, bowing.

From her vantage point of "trying to act interested but seriously can't this wait for a moment", Koishi heard bits and snippets of their conversation. There were gangs, doing bad things, some were non-human (or hated non-humans? Koishi really wasn't paying attention), and they were a bad thing that going to get worse, okay, okay. Tairee reminded her that she was, indeed, waiting and would continue to do so. Very important information, but can we please get on with it comeoncomeoncomeoncomeoncomeon

When the note appeared, and Tairee handed it to her, she managed to receive it in a polite enough manner before unfolding it so quickly it tore slightly. She quickly fixed her eyes and read it at record speed.

And, not entirely sure what was written there, she read it a second time. And a third, and a fourth, and a fifth time, each more thoroughly than the last.

"Ehheheh...I'm reading this wrong, right?" Incredulous and not aware she was speaking aloud, she read it a couple more times. "Is this an error in transcription? My request wasn't read correctly?" She managed to shake more, to the point that a casual observer might think she was vibrating at rapid speeds and attempting to phase her constituent molecules through solid ground. Pushing past Rex slowly, she tried to stuff the note back into Tairee's little hands. In a quivering tone that seemed on the edge of a breakdown, she asked, "I-I-I'm sorry, M-Ms. Librarian, but c-could you please re-read this and make sure that it seems r-r-rrriiiiight to you?"

The library

Gangs were forming on the city. One was an anarchist group that only about doing what they wanted. Another was a law enforcement group that tried to bring order to the city, and the third one was a group created in response to Marcus' murders. They also kind of hated humans.

"And you're afraid that an all out war may start if we don't keep them in check? Ok, I'll see what I can do"

Tairee started talking with Koishi and gave her a note. Whatever was written in there, it wasn't a good thing because Koishi frantically told the librarian to make sure the note was correct.

"What's the matter?"

Heading to the Library - time to bail

Sans' watched Caro's show with interest, so the dragon thing could change forms like that? That was some kind of magic he had never seen before and one he would be interested in hearing more about. Unfortunately, to do so there would need to be an exchange of information and the kid was even already asking him about his home. Caro seemed to be a nice girl with a good sense of humor, but he really didn't need her pity now, thankfully there was a way out of that.

"well, my world..." Sans began saying, his tone hiding a hint of sorrow behind it as they walked

In Front of the Library

Soon they would find themselves staring at the library from a small distance away from it, from Caro and Fried's perspective, they only needed to make a turn in a street in order to get there, for anybody around it would be like they just appeared out of nowhere... Or maybe they were there and they just didn't notice somehow, who knows.

"well, we're here. its a fast shortcut." said Sans, giving Caro a wink. "that library is the center building, someone who knows everything about what's going on is there, plus people seem to come in and out of it all the time."

Cole wasn't one who really had destinations when he walked most of the time. Without a hurt to heal or a mission to follow someone to, he was still inclined to aimless wandering, just as he had been as a spirit. But there seemed to be quite a few people coming towards the library, and he naturally trailed after groups of people. He wandered in, looking around a bit at what was going on in various areas, but just stood inside, listening to the conversations around him, silent.

Not just the conversations here inside the library, though. When he didn't focus, things tended to all run together inside his head. Ben...Ben looked different every time Cole looked at him, he realized...Ben seemed concerned? Upset? That young man had entirely too much weight on his shoulders, all things considered. But that was the way of war, he'd come to realize. People with no business in it often had to rise to the occasion.

And Mary, for once the strange girl didn't seem to carry the weight of sadness about her the way she so often did. If Cole had been anyone else he might have noticed his own mental pun, with Mary actually carrying a literal personification of Sadness in her arms at the moment, but instead he just shifted his awareness across others...strange newcomers and familiar faces alike, slowly drawing it back into the library itself.

Koishi seemed upset about something, while Rex was here discussing the fact that there were people working together in groups, which would normally be good, except, in this case it didn't. Cole knew enough about what the wrong kinds of groups could do.

"There's going to be a war, then," he said softly, wandering up behind the group. "People splintering, like unto like, fear of others unlike, angry about feeling their place is not proper. It causes war. It always does."

Trying to deal with so many questions, at the library

"This city started existing about five days ago, technically, and changes every day to go with a certain theme. I made some brochures" Miss Tairee said to Garrett after his question about the city. She went back behind her central desks for a moment, and returned to hand him one.note  "Battle Brother Marcus of the Ultramarines space marines chapter; he is another current resident of the city, just like you. Space marines from his universe are an elite, genetically modified type of soldier, which he is one of, obviously" she explained to him further.

About that time, Koishi had finished reading the note over and over and had started urging the librarian about there being some sort of error, much to Miss Tairee's confusion. Taking a reading the note, her eyebrows furrowed. "No, that's definitely my boss' signature, so there's no mistake. I'm not sure I understand miss; was the note you put in the suggestion box intended for me? I don't read what goes into the box unless you give it to me and ask me to read it first" Miss Tairee told Koishi politely; despite the fact that Koishi was clearly about ready to flip her shit, Miss Tairee was not worried for her own safety, though was a bit concerned about Koishi's current mental state. "I take it you wanted the change that happened to you today to be reversed?" she questioned a bit rhetorically, only having the context of her boss' note to go off of, "I'm sorry, my boss doesn't want there to be any exceptions or special cases; just like it says."

She paused for a moment as she considered the second part of her boss' response note. "Um... Was there some other problem I could help you with though?" Miss Tairee asked, confused.

When you can't get hurt there's nothing to be afraid of, with Ben

As the next hurled egg suddenly stopped in mid air, the two teen boys looked a bit confused and disappointed. The one who didn't throw the egg looked around with furrowed eyebrows, trying to see if there was somebody clearly using telekinesis nearby them. The one who threw the egg stuck out his tongue and threw up a middle finger at the general area around them including the floating egg, just in case. Then they just kept walking, starting up a quiet conversation about spoilsports ruining their fun, and completely unconcerned about the egg still floating there.

They knew they couldn't be hurt at all today, and thus knew that they didn't have to be worried about anything. In fact not ten seconds had passed before they went ahead and chucked another egg at another storefront down the road and across the street from their previous target.

Specter Knight had just been floating silently, listening to the others talk about factions that had apparently begun to sprout. He didn't particularly care about the group trying to bring about order, but at least he'd have an excuse to decapitate a few Ruckus members, if they started annoying him. As for the non-human group, Specter Knight decided to wait and see what would come of it.

On the streets, the egger becomes the egged

Ghostfreak looked disappointed that the eggers weren't freaked out by the fact that something had caught their egg. Ghostfreak was going to have to up the ante. He floated up behind the group, still, holding the egg. Then, he cracked the egg with one of his fingers, and opened it over one of the egger's heads. Ghostfreak then caught another egg, and opened the egg over the second boy's head.

"Well, boys...." Ghostfreak hissed, in his low, raspy voice, "it looks like the yolk's on you now. Hehehehehe...." When the boys were sufficiently distracted, he would try to snatch one of the egg cartons they were carrying from them.

"What's this about groups?" Sawyer inquired, frowning. Oh, this was one thing they probably didn't need here; gangs of people doing as they pleased.

The police group was most likely bound to fail, given just what kind of threats hovered about. This troublemaker group seemed to be nothing but a bunch of kids throwing toilet paper at houses, but this anti-human group got her interested, if only because she was a human and probably should exercise caution should the group in question get organized.

Well, it didn't matter now. "An alchemist?" She inquired, looking at Plague Knight. "Having any luck with new potions recently?"

Then HK heard the groups that are slowly appearing here. One is an attempt at forming law enforcement here...if it truly gets organized, his killings might bring him into trouble. The other one is a criminal-anarchist group who only care to do what they want, sure today they might not be intimidating..but that couldn't be said about much later when this day is over.

The last one seemed to be an anti-human group. While he would surely be exempt from discrimination as he is a droid, he scoffed. Why do meatbags have to discriminate from each other, when they could simply hate everyone equally?

Ugh, Meatbags.

Mary wasn't really surprised the stranger said she was homesick. After all, it was fairly common to find people who missed their homes. She could see why, but at the same time, she couldn't say her feelings were similar.

Still, that wasn't really an excuse not to help.

"Potions? *pfft* Please," Plague Knight said to Sawyer. "An alchemist does more than just mere potions! I am an expert many different fields, such as diseases, conversion of metals and element from one to another, and, most importantly, EXPLOSIONS!!!" Child like jubilence would be responsible for him practically screaming that last word. "However, I have been working on my own brews during my stay here, most pertinent is the replication of the Healing potions created by an accuaintence that would prove useful in the days ahead. I have also been working on a way to alchemize gold, but due to the lack of proper materials and having to use chicken and fish bones for substitutes, all I've been getting is pyrite and iron sulfide!"

He turned to HK. "Most of the potions I make are mostly poisons, pesticides, explosives, and drinkable version of horrific diseases. My knowledge of actual healing knowledge is only limited to creating antidotes, cures, and counter viruses to me own creations, I'm afraid."
