Well I wasn't planning on instantly skipping the rest of the day, no. I still want to do the boss encounter at some point.
I just meant maybe time skipping a bit of the middle of the day to be getting to the boss fight sooner and by extension the end of the day sooner. On the other hand, the RP could probably use a bit of a breather before having another battle coming up so soon.
Anyway, my previous post has been edited because the new information Sans brought up is of a much higher priority to Wells.
You are reading this.Oh yeah, something I forgot about.
@Nagisa Stick: Why did you blatantly ignore the part of secretlyasuperhero's post that said only the people who know Eve really well (of whom John is not included) would be able to tell that she's really mad?
You are reading this.I am enjoying the day theme, I just am a huge fan of horror so this is more like me getting impatient about my favorite thing taking a while rather than impatience on the day theme. I would be impatient no matter what the theme was so don't bother accelerating things for my benefit.
Why is a yam attacking me?@Fergard Stratoavis: I will be putting the RP on a short break for Halloween, so that shouldn't be a problem.

You are reading this.I'm fine with the day theme, I just got sidetracked and got behind then life kept me busy enough I wasn't able to catch up. Resulting in me having basically no idea what's happened at all for Day 12 besides the ruckus tried to hostage and sacrifice civilians at the grocery station and that apparently getting resolved.

Heh, maybe it was a good thing that Blitz got busy and couldn't post, as I got busy this week and couldn't post either.
I still had time to follow the thread posts at least, so I'm still fairly caught-up right now.
I'll catch up on the main thread again, then see if I can squeeze in a fast-forwarding post for Sophie and Curly. We could hand-wave their late arrival at the grocery store as Curly getting used to the controls and Sophie having a bit of difficulty using the tablet to navigate.
Hey, they're in a weird spaceship neither of them have flown before in a galaxy city that's constantly shifting looking for a station that neither of them knows what to expect it to look like. there's plenty of handwave for why they didn't show up on time, lol.
Glad to hear I wasn't the only one having a busy week at least
I kind of missed it before, but @Ominae: Your last post makes no sense.
Gon couldn't have entered and left the library without putting on one of the OSFA suits, so how would he not know what they feel like? And why is he talking about scavenging from the restaurant, while he and Garrett are already standing in it and there's a bunch of people there?
Anyway, I've gotta get going for tonight. Tomorrow's shift isn't too late when it comes to how late my shifts usually go, but since I got on pretty early today it will still be later than that. Probably around three hours later, or a bit less I would guess; that is, unless I get sent home early.
Also reminder announcement: Tomorrow when I'll be going for the night is when I'll be starting the Halloween hiatus, which I'll be ending when I get on Tuesday the 1st. (Which unfortunately will be on the late side due to my work shift that day being scheduled to end pretty late. I'll put up my usual week schedule summary when I get back from work tomorrow.)
You are reading this.@Syrika: Good luck! I'll also be trying my luck with Na No Wri Mo
.... I'm prolly likely to fail and drop out by the middle of it, but hey, it's good motivational material!
@Syrika: Well, I have two stories in mind. Not sure which one would I go with in the end.
One is a typical fantasy epic set in a world where the wonders of human tech during the height of its golden age is practically reduced to rubbles and other races began to prosper from it. I have the summary of it here.
Another is about the life of a 'band of bandits' within a typical fantasy setting(comprised of the army's deserters, rebels, exiled, the typical cutthroats, etc.), their origins, their struggles against a 'corrupt' Empire and their goals of travelling to another land(either to start anew or becoming a mercenary company), all the while surviving against limited supplies, internal disputes and the occasional patrol guards and 'heroes' coming to wreck their shit up as they tried to keep themselves hidden.
So.. yeah! Either of the two. And I even have the choice of going either with the Planner route(the first story, I have the outlines of some things planned out) or the Pantser route(I literally came up with the second story two days ago and don't have much in the ways of pre-planning, so I'll be writing the plot as I go lol)
Those both sound really cool :o Here's mine!
I'm definitely going the route of the planner this year - I've been hashing out this story for months, and I've done outlines for the first 14 chapters. It's my first non-fanfic original story in a long time, so I'm really hoping I can finish it^-^
Here now, fully recapped. In the interest of getting things wrapped up before the hiatus actually begins, I'm gonna go ahead and post for the combat. (Partially because everyone who's really in the combat with an enemy has already posted, and partially because I see a way I can end it in my next post with what's been posted so far.) I'll try to have a post for that and other scenes up soon-ish, though it might take me a bit to type, and I'm gonna check on some things first.
The scene in the spaceship with Yael though I'll hold off on until the actual hiatus starting post, because of reasons. Said post I'm gonna try to have up not long after midnight my time, which is in about three and a half hours.
Also, as mentioned, a quick summary of my schedule for next week: Not that it matters too much since we'll be on break anyway, but I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow that I have to go to bed for somewhat earlier than I usually would. (Another reason why I won't be posting the hiatus post too late.) Then, I have evening shifts Tuesday through Friday, Saturday off, then another shift next Sunday. All are of moderate length except Friday is kind of long and Sunday is pretty short again. As I mentioned before, I'll end the hiatus once I come online after work Tuesday, though it's one of the latest ending shifts I have next week unfortunately. (Tied with Friday.)
Good luck to those doing Na No Wri Mo, though I do hope it won't mean you'll completely disappear from the RP.
Seriously though, I hope you do well, and don't sweat it if you need a little break from the RP to focus on it.

You are reading this.I'd try Na No Wri Mo, but first I have no idea what to write, and second I wouldn't be able to start until after my exams end, which would be the 17th of November. So... yeah, no excessive amounts of writing for me.
And there we go, hiatus is officially on. I know he didn't plan it, but I must thank Full Moon that these circumstances happened to perfectly play out so that post could be on Halloween.
(Well, it's after midnight on my end at least.)
I have a feeling some of you may rage a little. (Well, at least one of you.) Before you go off too badly, I'm gonna go ahead and mention that Day 13 would be a good opportunity to possibly capture him. Though, you will have other things to worry about as well...
Anyway, happy Halloween to all! I'm still going to be up for a few more hours, but with the RP now on break that doesn't particularly matter much. I'll be checking in tomorrow while I'm not busy with my doctor's appointment and Halloween stuff.
I hope you all enjoy your Halloween.
