i just love how absolutely everyone is in the loop about the new horrifying monstrosity currently existing in the city except for a total of seven people who are just trying to have a good time and dont know why that wont work
fixed it btw
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrI'm also fine with just skipping ahead a bit to wherever our little group ends up next for getting Sophie and Ara food or movie watching or whatever.
Though I still find the idea of Ghostfreak attempting and failing to possess Curly amusing since he can't take over inanimate objects. Or trying to possess Ara and getting denied by Eun. But depending on how things go, maybe a bit later on in the day or something depending on how things go for both groups.

moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrAlright, with that post I've gotta get going early because tomorrow's shift starts especially early. It doesn't last too long though, so even with a bath and rest afterward I could still end up online earlier than I was on today. I'll probably be going out to dinner sometime later, but I'll be able to stay up late.
Gonna start keeping track of PCs that have joined the major groups in the first discussion post.
You are reading this.In hindsight it occurs to me that my harried exit from the Skype chat may have sounded more urgent than it was meant to, but if anyone was worried, don't, things are fine. Sometimes shit from the jail down the street spills over a little and all that happens is that we get our laptops and move to a little safe area hidden further in the building. I'm actually still doing work on my computer right now and posting this from my phone, what's going on is largely not a huge deal. But it is a "grab your shit and go right now" thing when the editor calls for it hence the hurry, so sorry if I scared anyone, and I'll be back online when I get home this evening.
Here now, fully recapped. Will have a short post up for Silanea relatively soon; just going to check some things first. Library post is mainly waiting on wikkit. After that I'm gonna work on an addition to the first discussion post that I thought of today.
@Ms Ami Classified: And that's part of why Demovere was the best GM in the MMFRPG.
I think I might be able to make the universe buffet in minecraft...
Also, @Group in the universe buffet: Would you like any of the significant NPCs thrown your way, or just keep doing your thing on your own?
You are reading this. It's really nicely done Demo :) And does that mean we can have the buffet as a recurring location (even if the city keeps shifting where it's at)
I'd kind of like to let Curly meet some of the major NPCs at some point, especially since I don't know a lot about them. But as far as doing it at the buffet with the group, I'm fine either way.
I'm mildly conflicted. One the one hand I don't want to interrupt the fluff, but on the other Lewis needs to learn who people are at some point.
moved to Oceanstuck because this handle was starting to bother me my tumblrIt seems a bit specifically themed for the day, but if enough people want it to stick around, then I guess so. Speaking of recurring locations, here's the addition to the first discussion post:
These are the various noteworthy locations in the city, though these buildings are among those that keep shifting around, so you'll never find them in the same place twice. These buildings are still subject to day rules, so may not necessarily fit the descriptions given below at all times.
- Catgirls' diner: A small family owned style diner, claimed and operated by a quartet of different catgirls. Now members of the anti human group, and thus the building is technically claimed by them as well, and has their logo on the front door.
- Grocery store: A massive grocery store simply signed as "grocery store". Despite the sign it also has some items besides just groceries, such as clothes and toiletries. Being the largest source of food in the city, there is almost always a decent number of civvies coming in and out of the place.
- The cinema: A large movie theater simply signed "cinema". Where one would expect a snack bar is instead a row of what are essentially Star Trek style replicators, though they will only make snack foods and beverages; they will not make full course meals or any other items. There are ten movie theaters, in the hall outside each of which is a computer screen where one can search for and select a movie to play in that theater; once a movie is selected, the computer will not accept any input until that movie has ended. Additionally, once any person has selected a movie on one computer, the other computers will not allow that same person to select movies until the one they chose is done playing.
- The radio station: A rather small building with a short transmission tower on top. Theoretically capable of broadcasting both a radio station and a television channel, though the two guys currently staying in it just use it to play music on radio channel 94.

You are reading this.Aw, you guys are making me blush.
And admittedly, I'd like to have our characters interact with each other for now before throwing in other NPCs.
As for the Universe Buffet, I really only added the palm tree decorations inside to theme properly with the City at the moment; it'll most likely be subject to changes in theme and atmosphere every game day, so it could work if it stayed. I also wanted to add a buffet-style location so there was a known place that sold freshly-cooked food for all kinds of species, rather than the groceries of the, well, Grocery.
Also also: anyone want to guess what franchises those people Sophie and company passed by come from?

I'm almost positive the mushroom people with shrill voices are Toads, though I can't begin to fathom what the others are.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'm likewise guessing the mushroom guys are toads.
No idea about the man in a dark-blue skintight outfit and white belts.
The men in white hooded robes makes me think of Assassin's Creed.
As for the women knights, what comes to mind is either sword sisters from Mount And Blade, or knights of the Rose Order (at least I think that's what they were called) from Gate.
You are reading this.Do Plague Knight and Rick's two labs count as notable locations?
Any movie?
Even, say, a version of Gone With the Wind produced in a dimension where all of humanity communicates by endlessly screaming?

@Firock: I actually didn't mind that bit; I really wanted to have some more character interaction between this little group first before the Ghostfreak threat reared its head over them, too.
