Not in Skyward Sword, I don't think. Then again, I don't remember if they call themselves human either (I think the closest they get to referring to their species is "the people of Skyloft," if that). I'm mostly going off the fact that Demise calls them human and assuming that they'd call themselves human as well.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Oh yeah and @Cole Minor: Well I am planning on a Female someone / something stumbling upon that fight.
I'm wondering if I should take into account the effectiveness of Sophie's moves towards specific enemy types. Sundering Fury does increased damage to Human and Nova (aka Darkness) types, so would the attack potentially have done more damage to Yoshika, since she is technically human, just reanimated?
x4: Well, maybe, but it's not going to be easy for someone like me with zero knowledge of that game to keep track of what is and isn't super effective when it comes time to write posts.
Especially if each kind of attack is more effective against different kinds of elements, then I'd practically have to break out the wiki every post.
Technically we're in combat so we're supposed to wait for Firock...that being said fighting a Charger means you can make some educated guesses at what's going to happen and prepare accordingly
And hope Firock doesn't decide to drop any extra monsters on our heads in which case make peace with whatever gods you happen to have.
Here now, fully recapped. I'll try to start working on the post soon, but A) It might take a little while to type and B) I'm a bit writer's blocked at the moment so I can't really start typing right away. It feels like it shouldn't be long until it's passed though.
Also, forgot @Demovere: Ah yes, Wreck-Gar was being played by Screwloose if I recall right.
RE; @Plague Knight's pets: Pet Sapling.
(My mistake, "Seedling" is the item that summons it.) Baby Hornet.
@Last main post for Rex: ... I completely forgot that Rex busted the tank, again.
I'm just gonna go with, "the midnight reset fixed it."
You are reading this.yep. sadness definitely did that while no one was looking. ehehe. heh.
And now I have to go! Be back Saturday night or Sunday. Try not to reach the 500th discussion thread page while I'm gone. :D

Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.@wikkit: I do that all the time myself, if I need clarification.
Still, maybe I can place label notes and such on some parts of my post so it's easier for you guys to see what each attack does without having to look at Sophie's arte list - I already do it with the arte's name as a red link. Just remember, though, that Sophie is canonically stronger and tougher than an ordinary human.
@Firock: Yep, Sir Screwloose.
Also, what do you think, Firock? Should I try implementing the increased effectiveness of Sophie's moves on certain enemies?

@Demovere: That seems like it could get a bit complicated and difficult to determine when it should and shouldn't apply. I'd say unless it's a case where it very explicitly should have an increased/decreased effect, we could just chalk it up to a quality of her universe that doesn't apply to people from other universes.
That's pretty much what I did with the Pokemon team boss fight. (Though that was also because they were humans instead of Pokemon.)

You are reading this.So it seems I can pretty much catch up with the RP on weekends. Still. I feel like posting on twice a week on the weekends (when not much usually happens) doesn't sound like much for this RP, considering its pace...
Anyways, I gotta say, after reading the endings Firock did, I totally want someone to write Sawyer playing Dragon Age. Or snippets. I'm tempted to write it myself but I'd probably butcher her character and don't know much of Dragon Age other than Cole.
Also, if anyone's wondering, I'm gonna switch for this day and the reason why is because for some reason I feel like writing Grimlock's thoughts gloomily right now and don't really wanna do such. At least for this day. If I don't end up liking to play as Zero.EXE more than Grimlock.
Monsters are mostly made of magic. There's probably still some non-magic aspect to them.
After all Alphys does mention that humans have more "physicality" than monsters which is why a monster melts when injected with determination while humans aren't harmed by it

@Group searching for the grocery: I'll let your characters find it after you encounter one or two zombie groups. No significant threats yet so I won't bother running it since you can just autohit them.
@Shoutmon Z: I'll check out the new signup sometime later tonight.

Posting on phone during work break.
@Yomegami: Don't the people in the Zelda universe call themselves "Hylian" rather than human?
@Plague Knight's pets: They're from Terraria; look up Seedling and Baby Hornet on one of the wikis and you should find them.
