Zelda's also an easy one; hers would probably be Ghirahim (who'd be mad fun to write for). If she hadn't reawakened her memories as Hylia by archnemesis day, that is. If that happens, I'm probably going with Demise instead. Assuming I'll still be playing her by then, anyway.

Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Well, in thinking about it. Technically, an archnemesis could be seen as the very opposite of the protagonist? The one who obstructs them the most. Which, in Sadness' case, would be Joy for most of the movie.
But you're taking Karkat from before that happened!

Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.@Pro Trash: Go with Gamzee, as he's the bigger archnemesis to Karkat IMO while still being beatable (stupidly difficult to kill rather than straight up God-like). For bonus points, make Gamzee completely sober.
@Syrika: Naw, Gamzee is the perfect one. Karkat hates everyone at varying with few exceptions, with Gamzee being one of those exceptions. However, the juggalo is part of religion of murderous, racist clown who massacre everyone on the lower rungs of hemeospectrum in troll culture and answers only to the Condense, of whom is one of Homestuck's Big Bad Ensemble; outright murdered many of Karkat's other friends in cold blood as soon as he went sober; became Kismesis with Karkat's potential matesprit behind his back and took it to a level that was psychologically and emotionally abusive even by troll standards; and he became the sidekick of LORD ENGLISH HIMSELF for while.
Plus, out of all the trolls, including the one who could summon ghosts, the one with enough super strength to murder someone just by patting them on the head gently, the one who can fire skyscraper leveling eyeblasts, and the one who was adopted by an Eldritch Abomination, Gamzee is the only one that truly terrifies Karkat. In fact, if it weren't for Gamzee being constantly high usually and the fact they were Moirails, Karkat would've been dead LONG ago.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Nick Valentine has an arch-enemy in the form of Eddie Winter. But he's a bit underpowered and not terribly interesting. There is another dude that would make a compelling arch-foe for Nick Valentine, but he's not exactly evil and his mere existence is kind of a spoiler. I might have to stick with Eddie Winter.
"@[=g3,8d]&fbb=-q]/hk%fg"Susan's archnemesis (or ses) are probably the Auditors. Or her kids' previous governess, but that's an entirely different story.
@Alleydodger: That is true, but if he underestimates Susan, he won't live long enough to regret it (mechanics wise, she and the rest of her family are very similar to the Guardians, but she won't disappear if kids stop believing in her.)
Alternatively, they could switch, and Susan could beat up Pitch with a poker while Jack has fun with the Auditors.

[TOP SECRET]@Ud The Imp: Exactly. Thank you.

How about for villain day, in exchange for nerfing the uber-powerful villains (ie the Reapers, Dio Brando, Mundus), the less powerful villains could get considerably buffed to equal things out (ie Genocide!Chara can directly damage people's souls regardless of race; Winter gaining Powered Armor and a Nuke Launcher while being immune to his own shots; True!Viola having the same powers as Viola but more powerful; etc).
@Syrika: Won't matter to the Author, as he can easily pluck Gamzee right out from long after his friendship with Karkat is essentially terminated and drop him in the City on Villain Day, assuming the Author is as big of douche as I'm constantly imagining him to be.
That too.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!@Locoman: I was honestly considering that guy when I heard about archenemy day but there's another character in Fallout 4 who plays a similar role, only its more personal towards Nick Valentine. He's in Far Harbor, which was released very recently so I'm not going to spoil it here.

@Time zones: UTC -4 (EST).
@Pixar movies: Brave doesn't really have an antagonist either. The witch is just scatterbrained and obsessed with bears, plus she tries to help break the spell. Mor'du is feral and cursed, and he only shows up at like the end.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.
