As for therapists. Adam's CASIE mod gives him some basic psychology, but he has to make judgements. But hey cop training gave him all he needs to know about defusing a situation.
Cain and Jurgen? Well Cain's dealt with crazy before, such as a brainwashed agent. But he'd rather just shoot his problems so he doesn't have to deal with them.
Characters from Smile PreCure!.
Miyuki Hoshizora / Cure Happy is established early on as a fan of fairy tales, like our current scenario.
Yayoi Kise / Cure Peace is a big fan of superhero stuff, like our resident Kamen Rider.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Just stopping in for a little bit before my nap; fully recapped. Sorry to leave you hanging Deis but I'm not planning to post until after that.
And alright guys, calm down with the random youtube links; it's getting a little out of hand.
Besides-
Get on my level, scrubs.
@School Yard Blues: Brother Marcus might have a good idea of how powerful Kieri is, but I'm pretty sure she isn't as evil as a Chaos demon, which Brother Marcus now thinks she is.
@Deadbeatloser22: Cactus juice?
@Cole Minor: Cole could only manage a stalemate against a little girl with a kitchen knife?
Cole, bro, do you even lift?
@Syrika: Oh I know plenty of stuff, but the stuff I've been interested in/had access to has never quite lined up with what seems to be the majority on Tv Tropes RPs. Like, I never had cable television when I was little so I could never watch any of the Cartoon Network stuff, and by the time I did I already wasn't watching television much anymore. I haven't played a number of the old classic games: Never played a Metroid game, never played any of the 2D Legend Of Zelda games, I've never played any of the Mario games save for a couple of the RPGs, which I didn't even finish, no Castlevania games, no Megaman games...
As of the last few years I've primarily been a PC gamer: No console games, I don't watch television anymore, and I don't catch many movies either.
But stuff I do know well enough to take characters from without needing to check? Uh, just off the top of my head...
Books: Anyone from the Vorkosigan Saga, (Though I think there may be a new book or two out that I haven't read yet?) I've read all the Harry Potter books but that was a long time ago and I don't remember them perfectly anymore, I've read a number of Hank the Cowdog books, and the Starship Troopers book. (Though why you would play a character from that I don't know; it barely had any characters and none of them were fleshed out save for Rico himself, sort of.)
Television: The Starship Troopers Roughneck Chronicles, (Which I'll be surprised if many of you have even heard of.) Transformers: Beast Wars, I watched the first few seasons of Xiaolin Showdown, all of Stargate SG1 but none of the following series, and all of the Star Trek series except for the second half of Voyager and any of Star Trek: Enterprise. I haven't seen any of MLP:FIM other than clips, but I have enough second-hand knowledge from my former friend that I'm pretty sure I could accept any of the main characters with little checking required.
Movies: Matrix trilogy, all six of the LOTR movies, all the Star Wars movies, Star Trek The Wrath of Khan, The Thing, Aliens 2 & 4, all three of the Predator movies, both of the Aliens Versus Predator movies, and the Starship Troopers trilogy. (Please dear God nobody sign up with a character from that awful The Thing ripoff of a second movie.)
Anime: Gurren Lagann, (but not the movie) Summer Wars, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Vandread, Kill La Kill, Rosario + Vampire, (Though I bet that anyone signing up with a character from that will be using the original Manga version, which I haven't read, because the anime sucked.) Strike Witches, the Kan Colle series, Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit, a couple that I can't remember the names of, and I've been watching the Monster Musume and Gate animes on Crunchyroll.
Console games: The Mech Assault games, Halos 1, 2, 3, & Reach, Ace Combat 6, Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, Star Wars: Republic Commando and Star Wars Battlefront 2, Destroy All Humans, Crackdown 1, Dead Rising 1, and Mercenaries 1 & 2.
Computer games: Oh, let me just pull up my steam library and start listing titles with characters I've actually played through... Alien Shooter 2, Bastion, Borderlands 1 & 2, Bulletstorm, Castle Crashers, Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Darwinia, Deadlight, Duke Nukem Forever, E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, Skyrim, Evoland 1 & 2, Fallout 3, (I've played New Vegas but not a lot.) Far Cry 3 & Blood Dragon, all the Half-Life 2 stuff, Hitman: Blood Money, (Technically. I played through it but I used cheats the whole way through.) Infested Planet, Killing Floor 1 & 2, Knights of Pen and Paper +1 & 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Metro 2033 & Last Light, Mount and Blade: Warband, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, On the Rain-Slick precipice of Darkness episode 1, Organ Trail, Plants Versus Zombies, Poker Night at the Inventory 1 & 2, Postal 2, Psychonauts, Recettear, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Saints Row 1, 2, 3, & 4, Scribblenauts Unlimited, played a bit of Serious Sam, Sonic Adventure 2, Space Pirates and Zombies, Spec Ops: The Line, Spiral Knights, Supreme Commander 1 & 2, Team Fortress 2, Terraria, (Though as I told somebody else who was asking about it, a PC from Terraria wouldn't really work; there's simply no "default". NPCs are fair game though.) Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, Torchlight 1 & 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine, Warhammer 40,00 Dawn of War Dark Crusade & Soulstorm, Wolfenstein: The New Order, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and Zombie Shooter 2. And outside of steam I've played the whole Starcraft series and Diablo 1 & 2.
... That took longer to type than I expected. Going for that nap now.

I rarely RP fandoms. When I do, I prefer Dos Equis typically avoid playing canon characters because I'm always really afraid that I'll screw up the character's personality or motivations or what have you. Pretty much the reason I chose Ben Tennyson is because he doesn't have a complicated character to begin with. He's a Hot-Blooded Bratty Half-Pint Henshin Hero.
@Finock Again, he's mostly only trained to know how to kill. If he decides she needs to die, I'm pretty sure she's going down immediately. But as far as just fighting someone who he's not supposed to brutally murder, I don't know how well he can swing that.
A friend just pointed out the Glass Cannon trope, which is probably right. He can hit pretty hard but like most double-dagger rogues in the DA series, he goes down ridiculously quickly in battle :/
So far as fandoms, well obviously I like Dragon Age, like a lot. Also Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, lots of video games like that. And thanks to my friends I know enough about Star Wars, Stephen Universe, the Marvel movies, The Hunger Games, and various mythologies that I could reasonably pass off a lot of those lol

Now, let's see how our patient might progress from this session...
- Base state: (—-)
- Twilight letting Mary touch the floor: (+)
- Sadness not leaving Mary behind right away: (+++)
- Cole being sympathetic and sharing similarities: (++)
- Sadness questioning Mary's actions: (—)
- Cole questioning Mary's actions: (-)
- Cole asking that Sadness is taken away: (—-)
Notes:
- Someone who does not have a clear understanding of the concepts pertaining to morality (and with readily access to knives) might need help when reflecting upon the consequences of their actions. Likewise, Mary acts based on instinct far more often than she does based on good or evil, so she will not hesitate to attack when she feels threatened.
- Someone who fears losing a friend will react very negatively to said friend being taken away. The fact that Mary values friendship over other people's lives should be kept in mind at al times when dealing with her.
- Mary loves candy. Giving her a treat or two might help a lot when in need of cooperation.
Conclusion: One step forward, one step back.
For me, it's mostly anything that's sci-fi.
Unlike basically everybody else on this site, I've never really liked anime that much; the only anime I've willingly watched and thoroughly enjoyed are the Studio Ghibli movies.
Maybe it's because I had a really overzealous friend who kept making me watch really weird anime shows every time I hung out at his house.

I am also not a big anime fan. And by that, I really mean, I'm not an anime fan at all.
Most of it is too violent or too fanservicey for me. And the ones that aren't give me Archive Panic. So yeah.

Oh, that reminds me! Firock, I've noticed that most of the characters in the RP are from places you aren't familiar with or that you've had to ask friends about - what games/shows/etc. are you familiar with? i.e. what stuff do you like?
Also, this is weird because you're not here but you always catch up on the forum when you get back so it's kind of like screaming a question towards the heavens
