Alright, I'll fix it up.

I also went ahead and added some things that I forgot on the sheet. Should be good now.

@Firock: I understand where you're coming from; it's just that Male Nord Dragonborn is bland, that's all. I'm leaning toward a Draconian (Kang or Slith, I think) or maybe Gimli. I'd go with Clem, but the only two words he knows are "Clem" and "Grakata" (People don't seem to have any problem understanding him, though).

@Undyne's spears:

I was going to go back and add that they come in groups of five, but then I watched a let's play of the part where Undyne chases you and apparently she only uses them in groups of three, and there's a two second pause between each volley. The ones that sprout from the ground come in bigger groups, though there's a pause before they shoot up. Will add this info.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

  • Story: Steven Universe
  • Name: Steven Quartz Universe
  • Age, Gender, Species: 11-ish, Male, Human/Gem Hybrid (Steven is the ONLY half-human half-gem in existence, so nobody knows anything about how he works! Though he seems to be more of a human than a gem, so, he still has human needs.)
  • Appearance: This, with his shield for reference.
  • Personality: To make a long story short, Steven is a nice guy. To make a short story long, Steven is probably the friendliest person in any known universe. Partly due to the whole mess of him being at least a part of his mother, who was compassionate to every living thing, Steven does not have it in him to be mean! Still, just because he's friendly to others (to a fault), it doesn't mean he's naive. If something possess a big enough threat, or if somebody either will not or can not be reasoned with, he won't hesitate to help take them/it down - not from lack of trying, of course. Even when he's fighting against somebody he knows would want to hurt him or others, however, he will always attempt to befriend them or try to calm them down through non-violent means. Just don't make fun of his family or friends.
  • Backstory:(Obvious spoilers to anyone who hasn't seen most of Steven Universe and are wanting to see it. Not really too important to read this for the roleplay.) This Steven happens to be the current iteration of Steven. The Homeworld Gems have come and gone, bringing bigger threats into view for little Universe. Steven has mastered the summoning of his shield and the bubble-variant if needed, and he and the Gems have been preparing to fight the Cluster. There really isn't anything else important to note in regards to Steven, so, if I need to write more I can do that.
  • Skills/powers/abilities: Being only part-gem, Steven has few of the abilities full gems have. However, there are a couple he has inherited from his gem mother!
    • Magic Shield: His main "weapon", Steven can summon a shield (the one in the picture, specifically) to protect him/his friends. Due to his growing prowess with the shield, he is capable of altering it's size to be larger than himself, and he can throw it much like another certain shield-wielder as a projectile weapon. Summoning the shield too many times in one day can tire him out like nothing, the maximum amount of times being thrice a day.
    • Magic Bubble: More of an alternate form for his shield, Steven can make a perfectly round sphere of varying sizes around himself. It's see-through, with a bright pink tint to it. Unlike his shield, this bubble can break when under too much stress or gets beat on too much. It can be rolled around like a hamster ball for further maneuverability!
    • Super Human Strength!: Ooor at least average human strength. While not on any unnatural levels, Steven is as strong as a decent fit adult; he can lift a teenage girl with no problem, breaking a car's air-bag panel with his bare fist (no image found), and etc. Make of that what you will.

I can never tell if I did these things right or not, so if there's something I messed up or missed, it's probably out of ignorance.

Anyone would care for a kunoichi-in-training?

  • Story: Street Fighter
  • Name: Ibuki
  • Age, gender, and species: 16 year old Human female
  • Appearance: Ibuki! On the scene! Schoolgirl and Casual outfits.
  • Personality: Ibuki is first and foremost a teenage girl, who goes through the same interests and tribulations that teenagers go through at her age. She wants to be a normal girl, yet her intense ninja training and fights with others often impede on those goals. She feels these pressures everyday and she can be prone to breaking down thanks to said pressures. The average person however wouldn't notice it from the surface as Ibuki is an easy-going all around friendly girl, slightly lazy but ready to answer when help is needed. She is also boy-crazy.
  • Back story: Ibuki was raised in a ninja village on the remote forests of Japan. She was taken in as an infant by the clan after being abandoned as a baby. She was nearly inducted into the clan but was rescued when the headmaster had a change of heart and began raising her as his own daughter. She received her training for much of her life and attempts to balance all of her training with her life as an average schoolgirl.
  • Skill: Being trained in the art of Ninjutsu, Ibuki is well-versed in stealth, agility and speed. She is durable, strikes fast and hard and can manipulate her own ki for physical attacks. She can also jump very high.
    • Equipment: As such, she comes equipped with kunai, ninja stars, smoke bombs, camouflage sheets and other ninja equipment.
  • Other: She has a pet tanuki named Don.

  • Story: Kamen Rider Fourze

  • Name: Gentaro Kisaragi

  • Age/Gender/Species: 18/Male/Human

  • Appearance: Normal. Henshin.

  • Personality: Gentaro is a friendly, earnest, somewhat dense, and somewhat sensitive (despite his protests that he isn't), young man that aims to become friends with all he sees fit. His only standards for friendship are people who aren't fakers, meaning he doesn't want to be friends with people who insistently put up a fake image. In his pursuit of friendship, he's willing to go an extra mile to get to know someone, like engaging them in something they enjoy even if he doesn't know a thing about it, or do bizarre and eccentric things like holding an elaborate stage show to get a person to accept him. For his friends, Gentaro is willing to tough it with them through thick or thin and life or death (that's not an exaggeration).

  • Backstory: Gentaro was raised by his parents until the third grade when they died in a car accident. He never really understood what their jobs were, and neither did his grandfather when he later went to live with him, but they were always proud whenever he made a new friend. They taught him that seeing a friend smile is the best feeling, a point that stuck with him all his life, and to keep his friends close as they'll eventually help him out in the long run.

Flash forward to his second year of high school, he makes friends with a couple of people who have access to a secret space base, the passage of which is hidden in a locker in a remote area of their school. There, he learns that they fight a threat called the Zodiarts, monsters that utilize "Switches" to gain immense cosmic power. To help counteract them and protect their school, Gentaro takes on the responsibility of becoming "Kamen Rider Fourze" and forms a(n unofficial) Kamen Rider club with them. After a long year, the Zodiarts threat gets neutralized and peace is restored.

  • Skills/powers/abilities: Gentaro is only as strong as an ordinary human being without Fourze, but even then he is shown to be good enough at fighting to take out an entire gang of school delinquents by himself. He's also very adept at riding motorcycles for someone his age.

  • Items:
    • Fourze Driver: When four Astroswitches have been inserted into this belt, Gotaro flips all the red switches to start his transformation countdown. After three seconds, he pushes the lever to initiate his transformation into Fourze. Hitting the lever again while transformed allows him to do a finishing move called a "Limit Break." His base form limit break is typically a rocket propelled drill kick.
    • Astroswitches: The main powerhouse behind Fourze. Without them, he can't transform, on their own, they're pretty useless. Switches 10, 20, 30 and 31 allow Gentaro to access various states.
    • NS MagPhone. Basically just a cell phone with switches 30 and 31 integrated into it. It splits apart so the switches can be utilized.

Aaaaaaand that's Gentaro! There's 41 canon switches, as far as I know, but I'm not letting him have switch 40 or S-1 for power reasons. Not including his bike either if it just adds on to the pile of stuff he's bringing with him. (Unless that's okay.)

But if all those switches just get really confusing to look through, I'm willing to cut them down or just scrap Gentaro in favor of the Mega Man Star Force signup I had in mind.

Chaika? Yes, Chaika.

  • Story: Hitsugi no Chaika (Chaika: the Coffin Princess)

  • Name: Chaika Trabant (Gaz)

  • Age, gender, and species: 14, Female, Human

  • Appearance: [Will place images here when I'm finally allowed to post external links. Until then, Googling her name'll provide pretty accurate pics. Am so so sorry about that.:c]

  • Personality: She is kind, optimistic, and has a strong urge to help others, even those who have been deceitful or manipulative beforehand. She is cheerful, but is also rather prone to being shocked/scared easily, and is quite clumsy at times to boot.

  • Back story:

    • In her world, she is the former princess of the fallen Gaz Empire, ruled over by her father, Arthur "The Mad King" Gaz, who was slain at the tail end of a three-century-long war between his Empire and an Alliance of Six Nations.
    • Just before her spiriting away into the City of Lost Characters, she had been wandering the land for several months, searching for the parts of her dead father's body, which had been cut into pieces and kept as trophies after being defeated by a group of Eight Heroes in what would, in a stereotypical fantasy RPG, be a final boss battle, in order to give him a proper burial.
    • (Of course, if you've actually watched the series, you'd know that there is far more to Chaika's origins than just that, but that likely isn't important at the moment.)
    • She is taken to the City a few moments before her introduction in the anime, while she is getting lost in the wilderness and lurking around the bushes.

  • Skills/powers/abilities:

    • She is a magician, and these are her most commonly used spells:

      • The Ripper: Fires a magical blade that splits the target in twain

      • The Slugger: Like The Ripper, but with sheer blunt force trauma

      • The Locator: Releases a pulse of magic sonar that can help track down objects and people

      • The Blind: A large flash of light intended to, well, blind

      • The Silencer: Nullifies all sound caused on target.

      • The Floater: Allows both user and target to float in the air or water

      • The Boiler: Boils stuff

      • The Annihilator: A large beam

However, despite her sheer versatility, she is a classic Squishy Wizard. She usually needs around a dozen seconds to prepare her spells, during which she cannot move or avert her eyes from the target. She also needs time to open her coffin and assemble her Gundr before fighting, and is therefore weak to ambushes and surprise attacks.

  • Items:
    • Coffin-Chaika carries around a coffin slightly taller than she is, in which she stores the parts of her Gandr, her rifle-esque spellcasting focus.
    • Gandr-Her magic wand, basically, which highly resembles a anti-materiel rifle, and can even be disassembled like one as well.

Just to let you know, I was a massive, massive fan of the MMFRPG series. Hell, I'm archive binging on the second season right now! (alongside A Game Of Gods)

Anyways, I'd just like to sincerely thank you for starting this Multicross thread. There should really be more of these kinds of R Ps, and not just on TV Tropes. These kinds of threads I find harder to find then R Ps where you have to make your own character. Which may be nice and all, but sometimes you just want to play a character you already like, or see something crazy like Superman and Goku teaming up to stop Sauron! (or something like that)

Forgot that I had a game of Deathwatch my friend was running after my nap. Fortunately I have no work tomorrow so I can stay up as late as I please tonight. I'll try to get that discussion thread up sometime before I go to bed.

@Star Bee: I'm not sure what's different that you added, other than maybe the energy beams?

@Ud: Understood, I'll remember that in the off chance that somebody else wants to sign up as Plague Knight.

@kagescorpionakki: Yeah, that sounds about right from what I saw too. That should be fine then.

Now, character signups...

@Truth Hurts 22: Looks good to me and my friend familiar with Steven Universe said it checked out.

Steven Universe is accepted.

@mrstack345: Once again, looks good to me and my friend familiar with Street Fighter said it checked out. My friend did say that Ibuki was actually one of the most fragile characters in Street Fighter, but that is presumably relatively speaking when compared to the rest of the cast of Street Fighter.

Ibuki is accepted.

@Rivux: Unfortunately for this one I have absolutely no reference. I'm only familiar with Kamen Rider in passing; I know that it exists, and my friends are all in the same boat. A quick skim of his entry in the TV Tropes character page looks like it lines up, so I'll take your word for it. Leave out his bike for now; it could show up under certain day conditions though. wink

The switches do look really confusing to go through all of them, but assuming none of them break the rule regarding OP characters they should be fine.

Gentaro Kisaragi is accepted.

@Inter-Versa Loli: I'm going to be honest, that seems really suspicious of you to say seeing as there's some people I'm not allowing here for personal reasons. Very, "I'm totally not one of those people you're banning, honest" vibe. BUT suspecting a new person just because they're new and bring up past events is not grounds to keep you from the RP; besides, it would just reflect poorly on me.

As for the character, once again I have no available reference for this one; didn't even know it was a thing. Another skim of the character page on TV Tropes seems to match up properly. Looks good to me.

Chaika Trabant is accepted.

Actually, this is my first time joining an RP. I'm sorry if I made you suspicious, it totally wasn't my intention. I'm just a long-time lurker that really liked to read the crazy crossover adventures you were before, so when I saw that you made a Spiritual Successor, I just got super-excited and made an account just to join.

If it makes you feel any better, the fact that I had no idea I couldn't link to external sources when your account is brand-new is proof enough that I'm a newb newb to these forums, not some Jerkass that decided to come back for a lark.

But enough about me! You should really watch Chaika, it was made by the same dude that did Scrapped Princess (Not that I've actually seen Scrapped Princess, but apparently lots of people have, and liked it). And the anime was made by Studio BONES, which also should count for something if you're familiar with anime. Very underrated.

@Inter-Versa Loli: Sorry, I haven't heard of any of those. Also please forgive me as I'll still be keeping a bit of suspicion; the situation with the people I've banned entry to is far too complicated to explain simply. It's nothing personal, really, (Unless you are one of the people I've banned entry to, in which case it's extremely personal.) I just can't simply be letting my guard down about the matter. Not yet; not until I'm feeling more confident that they would've lost interest in screwing with me.

But let's go ahead and steer away from uncomfortable subjects I'd rather not be delving into right now anyway: I got that discussion thread up, finally. I've got another thread to be trying to post in real quick and then I'm going to bed.

@Victor_Skye: Sorry to hear, but if you don't want to play or can't play, then that's okay. I'm not planning on forcing anyone to play in this RP if they don't want to.

Story: Persona 4

Name: Yu Narukami

Age: 17, Male, Human

Appearance: this sexy beast

Backstory: Yu Narukami was just an ordinary high school student who went to live with his Uncle in the town of Inaba. He gained the power to summon a Persona, made a bunch of friends, and solved a murder case.

Personality: One of the most striking features about Yu is how much he takes everything in stride. It's rare that things faze him. Maybe it's because he's already come to terms with his Shadow self, the part of him that he rejects. Maybe he's just that cool. Maybe he's just kinda stupid. But the point is, Yu isn't easily shocked, and often accepts strange things as if they were normal. Otherwise, he seems to be a normal, fairly nice teenage boy. He's outgoing, and made friends easily back in his hometown. Speaking of, he's extremely loyal, and will never abandon an ally. If he has a flaw, it's that he can sometimes overthink things and end up preparing to solve a problem for so long that he fails to actually fix it. He's also a bit of a ditz, often missing very obvious clues. His Arcana ain't The Fool for no reason, folks.

Skills/powers/abilities:

-Swordsmanship: Yu fights using two-handed swords, and wields them with great authority.

-Fitness: Spending all your time fighting monsters inside the television is a great way to keep in shape, it turns out. Yu has great athleticism. He's very strong, can run fast, and has good reflexes. He's still very much human, but he's also very much a strong human.

-The Fool: Yu is a Persona user. He has the power to manifest a psychic construct to help him in battle. It acts a bit like an extension of the user's body: With practice, a Persona-user can fight using their Persona as well as traditional combat methods in unison. To summon his Persona, Yu focuses, causing a blue tarot card to appear in his hand. He crushes it, then summons his Persona, Izanagi. That blade? It ain't for show. It has incredible cutting power, and could easily behead a man. Izanagi can also control electricity, usually taking the form of just firing lightning from his hand. But he's also been shown to create slower-moving orbs of electricity and call down bolts of lightning from above. Izanagi himself is very strong, and can easily lift a man with one hand.

However, any wound that Izanagi takes, Yu takes as well.

Items: His katana. A well-made, if unremarkable, two-handed Katana.

Other: In the games and the anime, Yu actually could use multiple Persona. For simplicity's sake, I'm going off his Arena depiction, where he only uses Izanagi.

Trying something here from a Korean movie I watched not too long ago:

Story: No Tears for the Dead

Name: Gon

Age, gender, and species: In his 40s, male and a human.

Appearance: Hopefully this works.

Personality: Gon is a quiet, distant man who prefers to keep things to himself when he's not busy doing his assignment. But after an assassination job resulted in the death of a young girl, he decides to adopt a Wouldn't Hurt a Child attitude in his work. Despite this, he has no qualms in getting his hands dirty (e.g. killing without second thought) if the situation calls for it as a last resort. At times, he suffers from nightmares out of guilt for letting a child die after getting a fatal bullet wound.

Back story: Gon has operated for a number of years in Los Angeles as an assassin for a Triad gang after he was abandoned by his Korean-born mother in a suicide before he was placed in the foster care system. It was until an operation to assassinate a South Korean national that he realized a young child was caught in the crossfire. Because of this, he wishes to retire from the field. But not before he was ordered to assassinate her mother, who has discovered the gang's laundered money unknowingly. After Gon finds out that the target is the mother of the child killed years ago, he decides to go all out to save her.

Skills/powers/abilities: He has intimate knowledge of the criminal underworld, having been trained as an assassin from a young age. Being a Korean-American, he is fluent in English and Korean, the former with a slight Korean accent. Gon is also trained to fight in unarmed and small arms-based combat, but is also able to handle explosives. Gon can drive vehicles, though he only drives sedans. In other instances, Gon can do makeshift items, such as a fake bomb from a butane gas canister and a lighter, in order to distract civilians and hostiles alike. He's trained in basic first aid.

Items: Uses a Russian-made Tokarev TT-33 after his arrival in Seoul, though he had taken a suppressed Glock 19 from an assassin he killed. At least four magazines for both handguns, given his supposed assignment prior to his decision to not follow through with his assignment.

Other: He's played just before the raid on the Ventura Holdings building.

Let's see if this works:

  • Story: Generator Rex (After Season 1)
  • Name: Rex Salazar (at this point he doesn't know his surname)
  • Age, gender, and species: 16, Male, Human EVO. EVOs are living beings with active nanites in their bodies that give them mutations but fortunately Rex can control them.
  • Appearance:
  • Personality: A wisecracking and overconfident teenager, Rex uses jokes as a coping mechanism. He doesn't have much experience with people thanks to his amnesia and can usually come off as a jerk but is still willing to risk his life to help people without expecting a reward (though not necessarily their houses). Being a teenager, making pranks and trying to pick up girls is something that Rex regularly does. Rex also disrespects authority figures and doesn't let people force him to do things their way if he can get the same results his way, he's a pragmatic fighter and willing to attack anyway deemed necessary, only stopping when his enemy is defeated, dead or surrended (but he tries to solve things without resorting to kill unless he's really pissed off).
  • Backstory: He's an EVO, a human with active nanites. This usually means that said person will mutate into a mindless monsters but Rex can actually control his mutations. He was found as a kid by Providence (an organization in charge of dealing with EVOs) during the rampage of a giant robotic EVO and could only remember his name. After learning that he was capable of curing EVOs, they decided to train him and teach him to control his powers and brought hope to the world being the only real cure since the event that created the EVOs.
  • Skills/powers/abilities:
    • Can speak (broken) Spanish and understand Cantonese though apparently not speak it.
    • Technopathy (he can't fully control sentient machines, but it can affect their processing). To clarify, his technopathy lets him make machines do what he wants as long as they have circuitry and energy and he cannot control pure metal or components of machines unless they are complex enough.
    • (This one might need some nerfing) Can create constructs made from the nanites on his body: The Slam Cannon which can shoot rubble or earth, the Boogie Pack (which can launch part of its turbines though they are not incredibly powerful), the Punk Busters, the Smack Hands (which have a drilling mode), the BFS (which can also turn into a buzzsaw), the Rex Ride and the Blast Caster (which can also generate electricity).
    • He has at least a basic understanding of electromechanical engineering and is a trigonometry ace given he has to create his own machines and needs to know the math behind them.
  • Items:
    • A small earpiece (nothing fancy, just a two way radio).
    • A cellphone. It can take pictures, film, send messages, and obviously make calls.
  • Other: As I said, I'm using his Season 1 incarnation so his powers don't break the game and his characterization doesn't get too complex (or too spoilery).
