Try to find the uncensored version online. It makes the "experience" so much easier to watch.

ANIME IS SAVED

Admittedly for a Studio ARMS production ( I hear that they have rather low production values) it had a rather nicely animated first episode, though it could Marvelous A Ql giving them more money then normal.

Takaki you've done it. You've made the ultimate ecchi show. Congratulations, my man.

The pop song that played near the end of the episode was seriously catchy. Is that the OP song?

You know after the other shows that have cropped up like Quasar and Queen's Blade this really was not as extreme as people made it out to be.

The one thing I don't like though is how half the cast is completely removed from the battle via transforming. It may work in Disgaea 3 but not in a show.

Yeah, it's basically Yuri Soul Eater.

Well then I definitely wouldn't like that show then, writing out half the cast every time there is a battle makes for poor chemistry unless the show didn't have much battling at all.

Hmm I wonder if the S&M duo are dead, they made a point to point out the Gatling duo didn't have life threatening injuries so there is risk there and they were not in the ending. Nah it would be out of place for a Senran Kagura like show.

That would be horrible though, orgasm transform then die as you shatter unaware of what is going on.

Well, Soul Eater does have the weapons be able to talk in weapon form, so I guess it's a bit different. Plus they can transform partially and at will, so you have things like someone dodging a scythe blade only to have it kick them in the face.

Implied where? What we saw was Virgin just disappear and come back exactly the way she was before without any awareness of what happened, twice.

On the other hand, Eyepatch spoke to Leash as if she could hear her in weapon form. So maybe it's something you can learn to do.

The phrasing made it seem like she was bashing her behind her back. But that could be the translation, Japanese is hard to figure a lot of that out quite often.

Speaking of speaking, I do like that Mirei is The Quiet One, though the fact that she is the fighter is... dunno if that's a mad thing or not, but I hope that Virgin Mammaries Tokonome Mamori can speak asa weapon.

Well this show is...interesting. Quite funny with a high level of fanservice, this series is probably one that I will enjoy while watching but then totally forget about between episodes. For some reason this series reminds me of Cross Ange more than anything else

I get the strangest feeling that people aren't exactly going to be watching this show for the engaging story or the gripping themes.

Not to be confused with Soul Eater Not! which is less explicit shoujo ai Soul Eater.

Strangely enough, I quit watching Sakura Trick because it was "too lewd," but this is so over the top in every regard that I could see myself continuing with this. Plus I want to know if there is, in fact, an actual plot as has been hinted.

I also like watching Tokonome suffer having to explain her unfortunate name.

This wasn't bad. Main draw is obviously the fanservice, but there does seem to be more to it than that

One of those series were the fanservice/dumb ideas at the heart of it aren't what's putting me off, but rather the unfairness of how the protagonists are treated and you hope it's going to be about the overthrow of the rotten system but fear it will just be another battle school series.
