A small pebble sailed through the air and collided with the back of Wayne's head, causing no real damage. "Atlesian, our business has not yet concluded. Given your exceptional slowness, allow me to make this clear: This battle is not one for you to turn away from." Angela said slowly, unsheathing her blade as she spoke.

-dramatic music ensues-Ragnelle breathed deeply. "I suppose I deserved that, Angie. I don't regret my criticism of the Master, though."
She srugged. "And hey, your choice. If you want to kick his ass, I won't stop you."
Elle turned to face Gerhart. "So are you gonna help her, or are we just going to let Angie take care of this?"
Gerhart shrugged, his expression nonplussed "I could step in, yes. But quite frankly two people I don't care for beating each other within an inch of their lives is not something I want to cut short."
Then Gerhart remembered just how upset the Masters had gotten when he'd gotten into a fight that first night. "I think I will put an end to this then."
Approaching Angela, Gerhart clamped a hand down on her shoulder and growled "We are leaving, now."
Gerhart blinked a few times before saying "Well, yes. If two members of The Order were dueling, not only would I be intervening, everyone around me would."
"Perhaps you should consider that there are better times and places to settle this. The Princess has already angered the Master enough, perhaps you should avoid doing the same"
Angela blinked up at Gerhart in surprise. "Very well, I shall save the lesson in humility and the stupidity of his view on women for another time then." She stated, sheathing her sword and shrugging her partner off easily. "Come, let us proceed to the library. I suspect there will be several manuscripts on aura there, so we will not fall behind."
Internally she was screaming at being robbed of the chance to do violence on another, after leashing herself for so long.
-dramatic music ensues-Gerhart nodded "I will agree with you. His views on women are... Ignorant to say the least."
Chuckling, Gerhart added "It is truly a shame that Acolyte Galiana wasn't able to join me, she would have... What's the phrase? Ah, yes 'torn him a new arsehole'"
After a moment of rare cheerfulness, Gerhart cleared his throat and returned to his usual dour mood "Yes, right. To the library"
"It's not as if his views are unique." grunted Elle, following her team with a small scowl.
"Sexism is stupidly common."
"Go home and get married. Fucking honestly. What a goddamn tool."
Elle let out a breath. "The library, though? Ah, okay, we'd learn more from that as opposed to the class we just left. Also, can you say overkill? I was the one who criticized him. Why did they kick you lot out?"
"Because we were all involved in the scene you and Rey were making by that point." Angela pointed out. "That and if the Master actually thinks we'll learn from such child's play, I have reservations about his intelligence. He is a Master of Aura but that does not necessarily say anything about his level of learning in other areas."
The dark girl paused. "What precisely is the protocol for arranging a duel here?" She wondered aloud.
-dramatic music ensues-Rey watched Gerhart absolutely shut down the duel and burst out into a new round of squealing laughter. It took until they'd started leaving for her to recover, standing back up straight and breathing heavily from such aggressive laughter.
"Hoo. Wow. Okay, um, for what it's worth..." Rey rapped the side of The Spinner. "She has a beautiful smile. I'd love to make it just a little wider, you know? Next time they get into a fight, Wayne, 2-on-2, okay? I need a piece just the same as you." She looked over at Tempestas and Kraken. "You guys have to understand that too, right?"
"Involved? Gerhart wasn't involved. In fact, he downright ignored us. And none of Rey's teammates even said anything. I still think it was overkill." Ragnelle said, stretching her arms over her head.
The Dustcraft user then rolled her shoulders, before resuming her reply.
"And yeah, Gerhart is right. You need to arrange it with the combat Master. Can I watch? I want to see you beat his ass. I'm shit at anything physical, so I can't really bash his face in."
A pause.
"One last thing. Please don't fucking call me "Princess". It makes my skin crawl."
"Shahzrazad,"—Bao simply ignored her mispronunciation of his name and continued speaking—"without Aura, one also cannot use Dust. Without an Aura, it would take one blow from, say—a Deathstalker—to be fatally wounded, and you would have to strike a million blows with an unpowered weapon to fell the Deathstalker."
She sighed. "It doesn't matter. Classes will only begin proper next week, and until then, I get the impression that the masters will not demonstrate anything worthwhile," she said. She glanced at Nemesis and Tsukiko. "There should be another seminar past noon."
Throughout the fight, the Vacuonese storyteller bad been writing down the whole debacle, word by word, action by action.
What was left was basically a script.
This would help to add some realism to any arguments he wrote. Nice.
Though, he wasn't about to put himself in harm's way. Instead, he hid behind Bao.
Ahyan was about to correct her when she expressed her significantly greater knowledge of aura.
He got into her field of vision and took a great bow.
"My apologies, Master. At Dastan-Amir, we do not have professional learned hunters. Thank you for illuminating me."
Then he leaned back up.

G was here - 2/9/24"Doesn't seem fair for the rest of us, does it?" Nonie said sensing Vasilos dissapointment. "Punishing the rest of us for a confrontation between two people."
Nonies tucked in her wings, defeated. Yeah she knew all of this stuff already but they weren't going to go into the advanced stuff without tackling the basics first.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Vasilos turned to Nonie. He'd give the woman credit for this - she fully understood just why he wasn't too happy at how events had just unfolded.
"Of course. I actually wanted to learn, perish the thought, and now here I am. One of the Masters is done for the week. I never did anything. I took everything in as it happened, and then she - she just comes in and sparks a fight that ends with all of us being held back. Even if it was just trivialities to start with."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""There's only so many weeks in a year. Every week the buidling blocks are delayed is one less week to build the tower of our education. If you pardon the flowery metaphor." she said.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Vlad was currently biting his tongue with his front teeth in an attempt to not lash out. All Elle did was state her opinion. Everyone else was quick to shut her down and insult her. Most infuriating was Wayne's comment on how she was the worst student at this Academy – as if he had any way of knowing – and how she should go home and get married.
All of which made him furious.
“Whatever we do, I hope we decide soon,” Vlad answered. “I'd rather not have to deal with Wayne or his cronies…”
"Oh, I understand, Reymond.", Tempestas simply replied. It seemed as though this was one of the few things he and his Teammates could agree on, which pleased him. Still in the back of his mind though, he was worried that that Elle girl would end up getting them kicked out of their next class as well over simple disrespect of the Master in charge of it.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015

"I must respectfully disagree, Princess." Angela replied. "I much dispose this boy's implication as I did the Master's." She hadn't turned to Elle but now the dark girl did. "I am also mildly annoyed at you, but this is the pressing issue at the moment."
