Morning
Scarlet rubbed the back of her head ruefully. "Yeah, since I've kinda exploded the last few times I'm not really sure that talking more is the solution to our problems." She reached over to her workbench and quickly drained a bottle of water that had been sitting nearby
"But if you're sure, I promise to try."

"Quit being such a freakin' child, Cerise," Gage put away his Scroll and retrieved his helmet. He remounted his bike and took off first at an easy Saturday cruising speed as he led the way.
Thankfully, there was little evidence of the combined actions in their area, though there were shouted conversations in tenements and residential areas, people asking for information the good old fashioned way by asking their neighbors.
More often than not, they caught sight of collections of people running through the shadows, in a hurry not to be caught.
The Weekend - Morning, Dorm Sakura Kitchen/The Grounds, Beacon
Right before he returned to the kitchen, anyone watching would spy a tall stylishly-dressed junior, the purple highlights of her dark hair catching in the sunlight stride towards Gage. They shared a moment's conversation, the sweaty delinquent with a triumphant posture, the lady obviously fighting a foul mood.
Sakura's opponents looked in a hurry to be elsewhere as the lady leaned closer and surreptitiously palmed something into Gage's grasp. She humphed a final time and walked away, her skirt swishing with each step.
Gage saluted her before heading back up by way of the window ledges. The clip was ending with a final play.

Dorm Sakura (Morning)
Aoi raised her eyebrows. "That's.... harsh," was all she has to say on the matter. Suddenly, she noted, the group had gone from learning about a popular sport to discussing the proper way to react to evil. And then there's how you classify "evil," which is a whole 'nother can of worms entirely...
Aoi, personally, preferred to focus her efforts on Grimm. At least with them, you don't have to ask yourself these weighty questions.
She was somewhat surprised to learn that Dia had been kidnapped as a child. Then, she reasoned that trauma is probably much more common in Remnant than she had realized. Thinking on it, she wouldn't be surprised if every kid present in the room had suffered at some point in the past. Where are all the therapists...? Aoi asked herself, half-jokingly.

"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Weekend-Morning
Dia would finally calm down as she looked out of the window, curious at the lady in Gage's interaction. (I wonder who that is, haven't seen her before?)
She would then turn to Raggy as she recounted Lena's story about Lena's Aunts, who were made into weapons that committed evil acts against their wills.
"Yeah, we did... Some do deserve a chance, especially if they were forced against their will, or had no choice to..."
Miss Rayfer would pause as then recounted the times where some of those involved in her kidnapping were broken out of jail, and never reformed.
"But those who do such acts out of their own conscious, selfish decisions... If they can't be reformed, they have to be contained. And if they break containment... what option do we have?"
...ehehNight on the town
Scarlet felt herself tensing as they rode through the part of town she had been dreading as soon as they began heading this way.
Her father's old beat.
She didn't remember much of it. Her father only ever walked the beats to cover for others and he had kept her away from most of it. But there were memories, just enough of them to be painful. The most notable of which came up faster than she was expecting, an ice cream shop, currently closed down for the night.
The biker slowed down briefly as the memories washed over her.
It was a bright day, a family sat outside at a table eating their ice cream. A man with flame colored eyes and dark hair, a woman her hair a lustrous red and their young daughter, only just seven years old, a grin stretching from ear to ear. It was a wonderful day for a young girl.
Another memory stuck.
A young girl watched her father walk out the front door.
"Be a good girl, Spitfire, and we'll go and get ice cream when I get home."
"Okay. I love you, daddy."
Scarlet shook her head in attempt to refocus, speeding up in an effort to catch up the group she had lagged behind.

-dramatic music ensues-Kitchen: Books and Board-Games.
Slowly and nervously walking back downstairs, carrying a stack of of board-games, movie disks and books with one arm, most of it was leaning against him to keep the whole lot from toppling over and crashing against the floor, with one such rulebook resting on his head like a silly hat.
Of course, given the conversations he returned to...he wasn't quite sure what to say except quietly asking for a hand.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Morning in Dorm Sakura
Cerise remained briefly quiet, enthralled by this little moment between Dia, Aoi, and Raggy. There was history here, judging by Raggy's expression. Excellent. This meant Cerise wasn't the only one who was mad on their team. Cerise promptly burst into laughter. Gut-wrenching laughter.
Night
"I am very mature now. Honest."
As they rode, Cerise hummed her familiar tune, barely heard over the wind whipping through her hair. She leaned with Gage over the sharp turns in well-practiced motions. Something resembling warm, fuzzy nostalgia—at least as far as Cerise was capable of—filled the atmosphere around her.
"Just like old times, huh?" Cerise said, wistfully. "'cept, I guess we're doing something right this time."
She looked up at the night sky.
"You always were the one with a moral compass. Not like me."

Kitchen
Raggy looked at the grinning cat with a raised eyebrow. "Uh... what's so funny, Miss... I don't think I got your name?" Did he? He couldn't tell he remembered.
Turning his attention back to Dia he shook his head, against her ideas. "Then they have to be contained better. We aim to be better than the people we are pitted against, right? Killing them would only give them the final laugh."
"And, for better or worse, everybody has a right to live."

Weekend-Morning
"I guess so... I'll need to speak with my mentor over this." Dia would reply to Raggy as her emotional state cooled down, thinking about what her mentor had taught her.
Dia would then curiously reply to Cerise with a puzzled eyebrow and look. "I'd like to ask... what's so funny?"
She would them immediately move over to James to assist him in carrying some of the huge amounts of stuff, and helping to place them on the table.
"Here, let me help you out, James."
...ehehMorning in Dorm Sakura
"Cerise. And it's nothing, really," Cerise said.
She wiped away a tear from her eye. Her grin started to widen eerily, and she leaned back on the hind legs of her chair.
"Just...there's more than one way people look for violence. Some are too proud to go looking for it, so they wait around, knowing it'll come to them."

The Weekend - Morning, Dorm Sakura Kitchen, Beacon
Gage climbed back in through the window, to the sound of Cerise's belly laughter. Typical of Gage, he didn't even catch the tail end of the discussion, but was able to watch James look ready to take a TV-style pratfall and send all his nerd stuff sprawling to the ground. Miraculously, the boxes stayed closed and pages didn't go flying anywhere as he stayed more or less upright.
"Now that's how you open up a morning," he said to no one in particular, stepping lightly around the standing mess and recovering his pot of tea and more food, a mug held delicately in his mouth. He returned to his seat, where his Scroll had automatically turned off, revealing his wallpaper of a young woman in wine-dark hair standing alongside similarly dressed young women on a stage.
The delinquent gave it a brief look, before opening up a new video, an old wrestling match. In the corner of the raised ring, a lion Faunus in tights was trying his hardest to cave another man's face into constituent parts.
The Weekend - Near Midnight, en route to Candlemas Avenue, Vale
They rode by Stinnsens', an ice cream shop Gage would swing by whenever he had the chance. Back when it was him, Cerise, maybe even...
He heard Cerise clearly. Even the second-hand parts he'd acquired weren't that loud. But nevertheless, he activated the helmet's speakers. "Old times normally means we're starting a ruckus. Sometimes I miss 'em, yeah. But in the long run, I think we were stupid as hell. Just as we're still stupid now."

Night on the Town
A pair of gleaming cat like eyes stared out from the shadows of a rooftop at the young huntress who had lagged behind, unblinking as they got closer. Slowly, carefully, the eyes glided across the rooftops along with the figure to which they belonged to, carefully staying out of sight of Scarlet before finally dropping down, the sound of a nonexistent landing masking her approach with the lack of actual sound.
Gliding past, Selene jumped on the back of the bike carefully, her graceful acrobatics keeping her relatively stable as she wrapped her arms around Scarlet from behind. "Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Running away from home are we?"
Night on the town
Scarlet swerved suddenly before regaining her balance, not prepared for the sudden contact with her back, the temperature around her spiking several degrees in response to her adrenaline. Not enough was her bad luck to be broken out of her trance so rudely.
It had to be by one of the people she was trying to avoid tonight.
The biker stopped and stood up, trying to break Selene's grip on her. "Dammit, what the hell are you doin' here? Getoffa' me." She growled.
-dramatic music ensues-Night on the town
Scarlet reached forward, grabbing the shorter girl by the jacket and lifting Selene several inches off the ground before shoving her masked face right up to Selene's. "Are you just trying to piss me off lately or have you always been this annoying?" She snarled.
-dramatic music ensues-Night on the Town
"I'm thinking its the latter." Selene said calmly, very visibly not intimidated by her angry teammate. She calmly, touched the tip of her foot to the hoverboard lifting up to her height so she could could sit on it while Scarlet continued to lift her by her jacket. "Is it really that odd for me to care this much about you?"
Night on the town
Scarlet released her grip.
"Oh care about me, huh? You've got a funny way of showing it, Cat." She shot back, the nickname which had previously been a sign of affection now laced with anger and bitterness. Scarlet stepped back and took a seat on her bike.
"Why are you here? I can take care of myself."

-dramatic music ensues-Night on the Town
"Like I said, I was worried about you so I came looking." Selene said as she continued to sit on her hoverboard. "As much as you may be angry with me, I still want to look out for you. Its what teammates do. It's what friends do. And it's what people do for those they care deeply about."
Night on the town
Scarlet began clapping slowly. "Well, my genius teammate. Rushing in to save this fair damsel in distress. Never stopping to think while doing it. You do remember I said I had a reason for leaving you guys behind? And now you find me in a fairly seedy side of town. So, Selene, what do you suppose could have been my reason for not inviting you guys on this little adventure."
-dramatic music ensues-Night on the Town
"Well I guess going to find some information from less than reputable sources." Selene answered rather calmly. "But if you think that's gonna stop me, then you're obviously mistaking me for some soft noble princess." Selene was glaring a bit at Scarlet, communicating a sense of having been insulted.
Night on the town
Scarlet let out a noise of frustration and rolled her eyes behind her helmet. "No, no you are not. If you were you might have some small sense of the danger you're putting yourself in by trying to come with but since I'm dealing with an idiotic thrill seeker, you're just going to get off on it."
Some part of Scarlet was protesting how cruel she was being in the back of her mind but for the most part the red head was enjoying an actual chance to vent.
-dramatic music ensues-

Dia would fold her hands and respond.
"Can agree with you there, although I wouldn't go looking for it. The Grimm of Remnant do cause violence we don't deserve, and they in turn need to be destroyed with violence..."
Dia would pause as her tone became sterner. She was unknowingly beginning to show a... darker side of her.
"However, I feel that certain people who do bad things deserve it too. I'm not talking about gangs or petty criminals. I'm talking about terrorists like those at the CCT incident, or the ones who kidnapped me as a kid... they're no better than the Grimm and deserve to die."
Dia would then recall what Lena said about sparing them.
...for the most part."
Cerise and Aoi might remember news about a kidnapping from the Rayfer family that happened around 10 years ago. Dia being the victim of it.
