Halle didn't try to reel her head back, but instead chomped onto the far wall and started reeling towards her. She slid along the ground, skating as best her metal feet could do. Once she had enough momentum she leapt into the air, stopped reeling in, and stretched her arms out to grab the terrorist once again.
Mop-Up
With most of the job finished, and the big boys down on their ass, Samuel continued to stay behind cover and pop up to ventilate Kurts as they appeared with the Shatterstens. While he would have been perfectly fine with charging in and being badass, at his current Aura level he probably wouldn't actually be able to block any blows that came his way. He was more than happy to stay alive to be badass in the future.
"NICE WORK, GAGE!" he shouted, because it wasn't like the Kurts didn't know where he was anyways. Stealth wasn't quite an option here.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Boss Fight
Selene prepped her blades in a low crouching stance before pulling what basically amounted to a spin attack, relatively effective considering the size of her blades, cutting through the drones.
"So do you actually have substance, or are you just all talk? Cuz that's all I've been getting, and I'm not impressed with your insults. Honestly just is going to make it more enjoyable when I beat you down, you know what I mean?" She said with a bit of a scowl on her face. "Honestly, if you think I haven't heard every insult under the sun for my species, you'd be dead wrong. So keep talkin pretty boy. See what good it does ya." She flipped the blades of Moonlight Overture into forward position, the blades splitting and collapsing slightly to make way for the shotguns encased within, and then aimed them straight at the enemy, holding off fire until she either saw him move, or if Halle managed to secure him.

Scarlet frowned up at the sounds of impacts still emanating from the upper floor of the building. The biker activated her radio to call Marvin.
"Hey, partner. You doin' alright up there? I'm going to be mighty annoyed if I have to come rescue you," She commented blithely, not quite managing to hide the undercurrent of worry running through her voice.
-dramatic music ensues-CCT Tower: Eleventh Hour Support
Iris quickly made her way down the stairs, hoping that she wasn't too late to help try and stop the man who lead the assault on the tower to begin with. Upon reaching the floor where the battle was taking place, she directed her drone to fire its homing red Trance laser tendril shots at the green-haired man, attempting to aid in weakening him so the others could finish him off.
"S-sorry I'm late...", she said to her fellow students.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Fight?
With the drones and their numbers thinning once again, Jayce quickly found his options becoming far more limited. He was hoping to use those remaining drones as a distraction to maneuver into a more favorable position, but with those few numbers, a salvo of lasers would be trivial to avoid.
That irritating robot was trying to grapple him from above, while the stupid cat clearly was poised to strike regardless of what he did and while he could blink away and let an after-image suffer in his place, avoiding countless attacks was burning through his stamina. If those damned drones weren't being hindered by the still fading jamming signals and this annoying vermin had shown up one at a time instead of in a cowardly horde...
No matter. Whether they were close enough together or separated, his next attack would wipe them all out or at least injure them to the point it'd be easy to pick each of these pests off. Speaking of which, another nuisance decided to crawl out of the woodwork. He thought those winged brats had been blasted out of the sky, but it seemed at least one of them had made it. A purple-haired faunus...and a weakling no less. It made his blood boil.
And with no alternative but to blink out of the way to avoid the three pronged attack, he smirked and kept up the deception by making the after-image lunge at Selene, glaive poised to run the feline through if the blasts didn't make it disperse first. Of course, with very little room to move, he reappeared behind Iris, slashing with the real glaive, either clipping her wings slightly or forcing her to flee.
"Substance, you say, pretender? I'm about to put an end to the false bravado. Not to mention the hypocrisy you're throwing out. Your attack was a mere fluke, and I'm about to reduce you all to the whimpering commoners you are."
As the spare drones circled around Jayce, he subtly directed one away. He wouldn't need it for this attack...but if these pathetic wretches survived, he'd need one last trump card. Besides, he'd already achieved what he was after, everything at this point was simply a bonus.
Crackling with energy as the drones merged together, Jayce smirked, ruby colored eyes flickering as he grabbed the hilt of an emerald colored blade, which was twice his height.
"Sword shining with condemning light, sentence their lives to flicker and fade away! BLADE OF JUDGEMENT!"
Swinging the giant blade as if it were nothing, it suddenly expanded and slashed through the entire room at chest height, harmlessly slicing through walls yet blasting away what windows were still intact. Showing no mercy, he followed it up by hurling the glowing green sword forward at the struggling students with startling speed.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.Halle played a sitcom laugh track from within her chest as the guy narrated his attack. She also used this opportunity to reset back to neutral, reeling her head back onto her shoulders. All she said in reply to it, though, was a warning: "Watch your recovery on that attack."
She threw her head forward again, latching it onto the ground behind the nobleman, then dove towards him on her belly in a wake of sparks. She held her arms out to strike at his legs as she flew towards him, under his attacks.
Cleanup
Dia had noticed that her partner's suit wasn't glowing as brightly as before. Clearly, he had been exerting... a lot. Especially after doing so many swaps today... if ONE swap was enough for him to get hungry, at least three would have got him pretty exhausted.
It still looked like he was pulling on, though. Dia would follow him towards the group of remaining robots, preparing an attack to finish a good number of them off.
"This looks like the last few. We need to finish this quickly."
Her face then gave a concerned look at the state of her partner.
"You alright, Gage?"
...ehehCCT Square - Last Huscarl
Alright, things had calmed down, if only a little. Zoe took a moment, still cowered behind the wreckage to breathe deeply, check her weapon and center before popping back to her feet and charging towards the last group of hostiles, laying down suppressing fire as she went. She was pretty annoyed at how quickly her last attempt went, at least this last Huscarl didn't look like he had a flamethrower.
"Friggin'. Robots!"
It's clearly a case of backroom political albumizing.CCT Square: vs. Huscarl
Cerise charged ahead of Gage at the group of Kurts, momentarily interrupted from their suppressive fire by the projectile head of their fallen comrade and Zoe's own suppressive fire. Cerise struck the mid-toppling Kurt with the end of her baton, punching a hole right through its metal stomach. She wrenched her baton free, whipping it around carelessly to wallop another Kurt on the head, which fell over sideways and hit the pavement.
The Kurts opened fire on Cerise. Swiftly, she vaulted backwards over the head of the Kurt behind her, sticking out her claws to pierce the circuitry inside its head. She ducked behind the Kurt, allowing it to take on the small arms fire, followed by a poorly timed gout of flame from one of the support-type Kurts. They paused, then continued to fire, as they no longer recognized the charred husk as one of their own.
Cerise backed away from the crowd, her scorched, sparking robot shield taking the last of the shots. She patted down her right arm-warmer to prevent her costume from catching on fire, then looked back at Gage.
"Don't overdo it, now. Or do," Cerise said. "Not really my problem. Or it is now, isn't it? If I'm going to be a hunter."
Even though his mannerisms should be familiar to her, she couldn't seem to recognize him in his armor. She turned her attention back to the Huscarl.
"Well, if I'm going to be a hunter, even though I don't really feel like it," she said, and she kicked the charred Kurt straight at the Huscarl, "I should probably start by doing something heroic!"
She widened her stance and stretched out her arms in front of the Huscarl.
"Come at me."

CCT- Square
In a somewhat human fashion, the Kurts went berserk, emptying all that they had left into their attackers before their close-quarters weapons deployed from their hands. The support-pattern mechs set up and loosed shoals of counter-fire back at Zoe and Same even as their more-conventional brethren attacked in skirmish patterns.
There was no surrender, if you were a Kurt. With accurate energy fire from the boy with the mohawk making superb use of the terrain and the fox Faunus making superb use of her field-saturating lead showers, the mechs were dwindling steadily. But still, they fought back determinedly, the Sage's throwing their remaining glue grenades in wide arcs towards their attackers.
The Huscarl barely registered the impact upon its blat-furnace chest as it scanned the field and locked onto Cerise. The strange-looking cannon on its right hummed and spat disturbingly, parts of it glowing purple. Instead of firing, however, it stormed far faster than its bulk would have allowed as it threw its considerable weight behind its power-fist to smash Cerise into pulp. She could make out every seam and detail of it, even picking out bits of ground and metal and crackling sparks on the studs decorating the huge fist.
With the communications back on line, Cyril Ian wasted no time, he and his cameraman skulking from shellhole to shellhole as he fired off rapid commentary, focusing on the core of the assault in the Beacon students, not leaving out the valiant cunning of the Vale PD and rescue elements.

CCT Square: vs. Huscarl
Cerise took the hit full force, expression contorting from the pain, though her stupidly wide grin remained intact. She suspected that she wouldn't be feeling like she'd bruised ribs if she hadn't taken that pick-axe backswing from earlier. Cerise threw her arms around the Huscarl's massive fist, pushing against all the force of its punch but lacking any armor or strength-enhancing Semblance to come to a complete halt. Her feet dragged on the pavement but somehow gained traction—just not quite enough.
This was a bad idea.
Cleanup- executed!
1 turn charge, attack unleashed
Dia had thankfully recovered a good bit of her Aura by not using it up too much in the previous fight. Seeing that Cerise had distracted the Huscarl, Dia would launch the attack she had been getting ready for.
With fury in her eyes and expression, she danced past a glue grenade that nearly covered her with sticky foam, transformed Corona into a Chakram and infused some crystals onto its sides, before throwing it at the Kurts.
"YOU'RE ALL GOING DOWN!"
The green-haired (with blonde streaks now) girl manipulated Corona to fly across the front ranks of Kurts at fast speeds, cutting a huge swathe through them. Dia would then concentrate, causing the chakram to curve around sharply and fly across the back ranks.
At the end of her furious attack, only around four Kurts were left standing. The others were no more, sliced into half by an angry buzzsaw.
This was taking one heck of a toll on her. Dia was clearly exhausting herself right now as she caught Corona. But she wasn't going to let herself of Gage down... at all.

As it came down, the disruptive energies were merely excruciating, but not at their destructive best. Apparently, somebody thought it was a fine idea to buy Kurts at second-hand dealers. Cerise would definitely feel the blow in a few hours. But for now...
Now Gage knew why the newcomer was familiar. But any joy at meeting old faces was quickly snuffed out by the very idiot thing she did by catching the Huscarl's incoming trainwreck of a fist.
"Idiot!" He swore foully as he lumbered to his knees and stumbled into a charge, letting momentum carry him closer as he focused one more time and-
Cerise felt a lessening of pressure on her very-bruised ribs. And a change of scenery as she watched the glowing-green figure of the Chained King latch on to where she had been. And even though the figure glowed dully, Gage was having greater success at holding the fist in place, his legs set wide and his suit's actuators screaming.
"SOMEONE PLEASE KILL THIS THING!?" Gage screamed even as his body cried for rest and several turkeys. The crystal plates shone violently with every exertion of effort.

CCT Square: vs. Huscarl
Cerise felt a very familiar sensation. She buckled to her knees, clutching her chest and taking in a sharp breath. She looked up, spotting the armored man in the place she'd been. Her grin widened very slightly. She pushed aside the pain with mixed adrenaline and euphoria, charging back at the Huscarl and vaulting in a front flip over Gage's shoulder. As she passed over him, upside down, her eyes locked with his visor, though her expression didn't change. She landed on the Huscarl's forearm.
"Don't look up my skirt. Or do, if you have to," she said. "But I'll hit you later if you do."
Cerise charged, running up the length of the Huscarl's arm, swinging her baton wildly to try to damage the power fist's circuitry and shred apart pieces of its armor running up to its shoulder. When she reached its shoulder, she leapt, pulling back and thrusting her baton at the Huscarl's shoulder joint, hoping to wedge the end in-between.
"Merry!" she said, calling back to Gage with the most embarrassing nickname, "Pull!"

Now, for you, big guy
Dia had seen Gage take the fist. He had teleported and put himself in Cerise' place. And was evidently struggling hard against the Huscarl's fist. "Gage, No! Hold yourself together... Please..."
Her eyes, while brimming with anger towards the robot, were filled with tears and concern for her partner.
As soon as Cerise gave him the command to pull, Dia's Aura sprung into action. As she concentrated, she would cause the crystals on Gage's armor to move backwards quickly, pulling the Huscarl's arm with mighty, great force.
She would immediately skip over towards Gage's side. "Take it easy, Gage... "
...ehehCCT - Square: Old Friends and New
"You're not my mom, Cerise!" Gage snarled petulantly.
Even as he felt Dia pull on the crystals to drive him back, he viciously punched the arm-blades into the Huscarl's heavily-plated forearm. The ends of the drills dug deeper, tearing past the armor to killing connection to the power source, rendering its close-quarters weapon an trapped and inert hunk of metal.
All the while, discouragement fire blazed around them as the Huscarl threw its machine strength to lock itself in a kind of tug-of-war.
CCT Square: vs. Huscarl
"Just as well, too!" Cerise said. "Otherwise I'd be wondering why you'd look up my skirt!"
Cerise wedged her baton straight down the middle of the Huscarl's shoulder. She extended the telescopic handle, then threw her whole weight behind prying the Huscarl's shoulder joint right out of its socket with Gage's help.
CCT - Square: A Farewell to Arm
"With your ass, not like there's even anything to see!"
It didn't look like panic, but now the Beacon students got a showcase in the limited programming of the first generation Huscarl when it pulled back so hard, it completely left its one viable weapon in the hands of its enemies.
Its grenade launcher cycled up non-existent grenades. The huge mech backed up one more time, falling back on its default programming as it aimed its whining cannon at them. Already, all three could feel the ground trembling as the weapon began to glow an intense purple right from its singular barrel.

Uh oh.
"Guys, I don't like the looks of this..."
Dia pulled out White Chocolate. Still having some dust left to either defend, or finish off the four Kurts. She didn't know what that cannon could do, but she would attempt to dodge if it tried to fire at her. But for her friends...
Defense it is.
While lacking enough Aura to create a shield, she could use White Chocolate's form as a makeshift defense. She would prepare for any attack now as she held Corona, now as a staff...
In the meantime, she manipulated the crystals on Gage's armor, transforming them into a much tougher and stronger shield. She didn't want him hurt any more...

...ehehTime To Do Something Dangerous
As Samuel kept mowing down Kurts with Zoe, thinning out the horde and making it easier on Gage, Dia, and Cerise to rip the last Huscarl down, he noticed that the three of them had effectively disarmed it - so it began pointing a massive cannon at its enemies. As Cerise fell off of the Huscarl, worn down, and Dia began trying to protect Gage, Samuel saw an opportunity.
A dangerous opportunity. But an opportunity nonetheless.
Samuel screamed out a warning; "GET CLEAR!" He then popped out of cover and began emptying the Shatterstens right down the barrel of the Huscarl's gun.

"I've seen better!"
Gage was moving even as the Huscarl stumbled back and Cerise fell off its shoulder. His body and the Chained King had never taken this amount of abuse, but he powered on through, grabbing the falling Faunus and running back at Dia's direction.
"Just frakkin' run!" Howled the delinquent, trying to keep up his pace even as he braced himself for whatever terrible doom would befall them.
And just as it was about to fire, rescue came in the form of Sam Forrest and his desperate attack, his Shatterstens blitzing at the cannon.
History is full of attempts such as these. Often times, they had failed. True one-in-a-million chances.
One-in-a-million chances...
The cannon didn't fire. It sparked and pulsed dreadfully, even as the basic programming of the large robot could not comprehend or compute. The malfunction was causing adverse reactions to its power source, the Huscarl stomping backwards, even as the unstable Dust reactor violently tore it apart in a violent application of matter.
To Cyril Ian, his cameraman, the Beacon students, and the officers and rescue services still in the buildings, it looked like the robot was compressed violently like a tin can, taking its immediate surroundings (and taking out the last few Kurts) with it.
A silence descended on the Square.

So, the big damn robot just exploded. Imploded, sorry. The robot imploding in a burst of gravitational splendor was a pretty sight and more than satisfying after the fight. With a slight grunt Zoe halted her weapon and settled it barrels-down to lean on as she looked around at the wreckage and destruction of the fight.
"Woo! GG mister robots, we were just too dang strong for yer puny metal bodies! Now to salvage your corpses for spare parts and loot!"

Cerise leaped off the Huscarl's fallen chassis. She gave its twitching husk a poke with the end of her baton. With her claws, she pulled apart the clean cut and tore out a string of wires and circuit boards, which she tossed aside carelessly. She shrugged.
"You weren't even worth the scrap you're made out of," she said, slinging her baton over her shoulder. "Couldn't even put a dent in my aura. How disappointing."
She spared Isabelle a glance, the edges of her looming grin just visible from the side of her face, then turned and began walking towards the remaining crowd of Kurts. Her foot bumped into the bullet-riddled Kurt's remains from earlier. Grin widening, she stepped down hard on its torso and eyeballed the length of her staff to about that of a golf club. She brought her staff overhead.
"Fore!" she yelled.
She struck the Kurt's head with a mighty thwack. Even though it was night, she shaded her eyes with her left hand. The head whizzed past Gage and crashed into a Kurt ahead, backing it up into the unit immediately behind it, causing a sort of domino effect.
