So this has been going on for quite some time now, and I haven't seen anything about it so far here. Is this a bug?

Huh, looks like the problem is still around for third-level headings (!!!). Until it gets fixed use second-level (!!), I guess

Another example from a trope page: Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu?

Given what a popular trope that is, it looks like this is a pretty recent glitch. I don't think going round the wiki fixing all instances is practical here. (Many character pages also use third-level headings and have the same problem, e.g. [1])
