Zidane Tribal, God of Cultured Warriors (Angel of Death)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zidane_tribal_01.png
  • Intermediate God, Greater God during Trance
  • Symbol: His two knives crossing
  • Theme Song: Zidane's Theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: All-Loving Hero, Anti Anti Christ, Artificial Human, Chivalrous Pervert Who Stops Acting Perverted Toward His Love Interest, Chronic Hero Syndrome, Doom Magnet, Dual Wielding, Double Weapon, Genre Savvy, Gentleman Thief, Keet, Little Bit Beastly, Lovable Rogue, Sixteen Years Old, Nice Guy
  • Domains: Theft, Culture, Acting, Combat
  • Allies:
  • Special Relationship: Kuja his brother
  • Enemies:
  • At first glance, it is easy enough to tell that Zidane is a warrior and a thief. What a lot of people don't expect him to be however, is that he's also a theater actor. He also has knowledge of music and is generally Genre Savvy.
    • Following his ascension, Zidane was happily reunited with Vivi, as the latter passed away back on their home universe.
    • Thanks to the events in Dissidia, Zidane gets well along with Bartz Klauser as a duo.
  • Sometimes hangs out in the House of Theater to participate in acting, as well as the House of Music.
    • With Weiss Schnee, they acted out a grand swordfight for an audience. To their dismay (and Zidane's chagrin) however, they learned that out of 100 gods watching, 99 were impressed. Encores did not change the outcome no matter what, so they gave up on impressing the 100th god. Zidane eventually figured out that the 100th watching god was in fact Statler and Waldorf. At that point, he was more concerned about the fact that the two apparently counted as a single god instead of two.
  • Has been pestered by the implications of what his future at the end of his game was; given his heartwarming reunion with Princess Garnet after vanishing on her when he wanted to make sure Kuja didn't die alone; did he continue life as a (hopefully non-thieving) performer after returning to Tantalus? Or did he become Alexandria's performer king (given they did get married at Conde Petie, and it's debatable as to whether it's actually legally binding). Zidane is being tight-lipped about that, unfortunately.
  • When the House of Gaming was set up, Zidane decided to introduce Tetra Master to it, and it became quite the sensation. Squall (who ascended around the same time as Zidane) would eventually introduce Triple Triad as well, under Rinoa's insistence.
  • As someone who was made to destroy but doesn't want to, Zidane has befriended other gods who're in a similar position. He has especially gotten quite chummy with Ryoji Mochizuki, though even he envies Ryoji's ability to automatically attract girls; however, Zidane is also annoyed in that Ryoji's much more dense about it somewhat, and isn't as much of an "expert".
  • Frieza was not too happy to see another "filthy monkey" in the Pantheon, especially when that "monkey" also has a Super Mode. Out of anger, Frieza attacked Zidane in an attempt to kill him, but Son Goku was able to save Zidane before anything bad happened and drove Frieza away. Since then, the "monkeys" have gotten friendly with each other. Though Zidane has to wonder if there's any connection between him and the saiyans.
  • Formed a friendship with Ryuko, and happened to learn about Ragyo from that. Zidane was appalled to learn about what she did to her own daughters, and decided on the spot to offer his help to Ryuko the next time Ragyo would attempt anything. Not to mention that there's something about Ragyo's voice that bothers him...
    • Seems to also have gotten along with Naoto Shirogane as well, via a more comfortable voice proxy.
  • Once got into trouble by accidentally grabbing C.C.'s behind while delivering a stack of pizzas to her. Thankfully, the immortal witch believed him when he said it wasn't intentional (he was reaching his hand to return Lelouch's credit card).
  • Went to visit Golbez after his solidified Heel–Face Turn. When he asked the monkey-tailed hero what his business was, he gave a strange request: To help in redeeming Kuja as well, or at least keep the other Warriors of Chaos from preventing him from doing so. He had managed to reach out to his "brother" back in Gaia before he died, and he doesn't understand why Kuja's forgotten. In his time with the GUAE, Golbez managed to know why thanks to hearing Kefka gloat about it, and decided he would see what he can do. As for the truth, Golbez decided it would be best if Zidane heard Kuja's motives from the man(?) himself.
    • Eventually, an opportunity came and together they managed to corner him. While Golbez hung back to leave the two to their quarrel (and bar off any intervention from Kuja's allies), Zidane faced off against his "brother" in a bid to make him remember their last conversation in Gaia. ... (How should the confrontation go? It should succeed.)

I think I'm done with Aeris. There's a lot more allies and enemies for Kirk, so I'll just need some help remembering them all.

Aerith Gainsborough, Goddess of White Mages (Aeris, The Flower Girl)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/450px-Aerithsface-1.jpg
  • Lesser Goddess
  • Symbol: Her hair ribbon
  • Theme Song: Aerith's Theme
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: White Magician Girls, Magically-Inclined Mysterious Women, Martyrdom, Dying, Staves and Pole Weapons, ultimately a victim of the most well known deaths in video games.
  • Domain: Spoilers, White Magic, Healing, Protection, Light.
  • Followers: Minwu, Porom, Eiko Carol, Aya, Abe no Seimei, Rab, Mirania, Calista, Malik, The Beneficari and many, many many healers in Tabletop Games.
  • Allies: Cloud, Tifa, Red XIII, most good-aligned Final Fantasy deities, especially Rosa, Yuna and Hope Estheim, White Mage, Tear Grants, Natalia Luzu Kimlasca Lanvaldear, Ness, Lucas, Durkon Thundershield, Sakura, Elise, Konoka Konoe, Pyrrha Nikos, Mami Tomoe, Angela Ziegler/Mercy, The Medic, Yukiko Amagi, the subhouse of Healers
  • Rival: Vivi Ornitier (friendly)
  • Enemies: Sephiroth, and to a lesser extent, most of the other Warriors of Chaos, Black Mage[
  • Evil Counterpart: Prince Hans Westergard
  • Anyone who has ever played a video game knows this story; a women skilled in White Magic came across a mercenary called Cloud Strife in a flower bed. She agreed to join the swordsman and his crew to learn more about her heritage. The two became close after some adventuring. Yet Sephiroth wanted to play tricked on the two. The One-Winged Angel tried to compel Cloud to kill the healer while she was praying, but he resisted. Therefore Sephiroth did the job for him, impaling her with extreme prejudice. Her resulting death was a traumatizing experience for many a gamer, so much so that her death was known by basically everyone. Eventually, sympathetic souls in the Pantheon decided to bring her back to taker her rightful place in the Pantheon.
    • After her ascension, someone hung a flashing neon sign reading "SHE DIES" over her resting quarters in the Pantheon. It's become a sort of running gag among the more mischievous gods to come up with some sort of humiliating punishment should they come across someone surprised by said sign. Thus far, no victims have been reported.
    • It was a humiliating affair for her, one Sephiroth enjoyed gloating to her about it. Cloud had enough, and the two agreed to find a new home her her. Luckily, her good friend Rosa had an empty temple waiting her her. There was a great need for someone of White Magic to take over. They just needed a new god to take her place. That man was Charles Kane, who was willing to take over for her. Thus, Aeris managed to find a new, respectable home her herself.
    • Cloud was ecstatic with her new role as White Mage of the Pantheon. Things got complicated when the fanbase argued other whether he should go with Aeris or Tifa. The healer doesn't really mind, hoping that he will be happy with whoever he chooses to be with. With that said, she will never let Cloud forget about that one time when he had to dress as a woman.
  • What most people seems to forget is that she's defined with more than just her spiritual waif-ish power to the point of incorruptibleness. She's in fact... a rather feisty and Plucky Girl that wouldn't mind throwing threats like 'cutting someone's balls off'. Needless to say, when Sora saw her saying exactly that to someone who's been harrassing her, he was quite shocked, to say the least.
  • Houses one of the most crucial temples in the Pantheon. Many a cleric utilize White Magic to heal their party members. his extends to anyone who uses magic to heal others. While she isn't the boss of every healing cleric, they all have some bit of gratitude towards her.
    • Was glad to see cleric Durkon Thundershield back in the Pantheon after his shocking demotion. The dwarf comes from a long line of surprisingly hardy clerics who are just as capable of beating up evil as well as healing party members
  • Video game RPGs around The Multiverse depend of her magic to heal their teammates. As her franchise invented the term 'White Mage', that is pretty much expected.
    • The most prominent healer in her series, Yuna can be seen hanging out with Aeris plenty of times. Sometimes, she goes there to teach how to dance.
    • It's especially rare to see healers as protagonists in a video game series, but Ness and Lucas have done just that in their respective series. Of course, many are surprised at that fact if they are more familiar with their other appearances.
    • Fire Emblems's healers aren't as useful given it's more of a strategy game. Nevertheless, a number of deities have managed to ascend due to their utility. Aeris hopes to find a way to make the class more viable in future games.
    • Yukiko is an interesting case. She does not have any powers in her own world, but when she ventures into the "TV World" she gains fire powers as well as the ability to heal her teammates. The Goddess of Inns pondered if she got said abilities from Aeris.
    • Konoka may not be from a video game, but she made sure to pay homage to Aeris in the way she helps out her friends.
  • Mercy and Ana may not rely on magic to heal their allies, but they understood how important healing is to keep their teammates alive. The three have been close friends ever since the Overwatch heroes' ascensions.
    • Which is funny because she managed to stay friends with both Mercy and the Medic. The two are huge rivals, yet neither could bear to but Aeris in the way of their friendships. Chalk it up to Aeris for knowing how to navigate through that landmine.
  • Ralph refuses to believe that she ever actually died.
  • She felt like there was a faint bond between her and Rapunzel. It's diminishing slightly, but it's still there.
  • Serves as the opposite side of magic to Vivi. She restores health while he decimates them with his Black Magic. However, both strive to use their magic for good and expects their clergy to do the same.
  • The same cannot be said for Black Mage. She had previously heard that the original Black Mage has made it to the Pantheon, so she went over to greet him. That almost got her killed by an incoming fireball spell. Later on, White Mage ascended and helped clarify that the Black Mage she met was from a different world.
  • Downright despises Hans for what he did to Anna, especially for personal reasons. She was seen as suspicious when she hired Cloud as her body guard, but proved her work in the party while Hans was thought to be the perfect prince, only to reveal he was dating Anna for nefarious reasons.
  • When the final battle of good and evil arrives, Aerith has been appointed by Cosmos to pray for Holy should the battle turn against the forces of good. A chamber has been constructed for her to go to in preparation for this, and after what happened last time, it's location is secret.
  • Sephiroth is known to sometimes visit her chambers and taunt her with how he killed her. Aerith usually retorts she still foiled his plans from beyond the grave, twice. Sephiroth has no comeback that has yet been witnessed. And now that she's free from reliving that memory, Sephiroth is even more frustrated towards her state.
  • Has been in a rather good mood lately. When asked about it, her only statement was "The promise has been fulfilled."

James Tiberius Kirk, Divine Balancer of Logic and Emotion, God of Deconstructing the Enemy (Captain Kirk, Jim, William...Shatner, Denny Crane)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Kirk_James_T_6686.jpg
Kirk in the Kelvin timeline.
  • Theme: "Space. The final frontier..."
  • Lesser God
  • Symbol: The Starfleet Logo
  • Alignment: Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Good Captains, Dramatic Pauses, Large Hams, Orders To Beam Up (And Down) from Scotty, Kirk Summations, Chick Magnet (Specially Of The Alien Kind)
  • Domain: Air, Cavern, Moon.
  • Follower: Naoya Toudou
  • Allies: Spock, McCoy, Jean-Luc Picard, Worf, Kathryn Janeway and Jonathan Archer, Clark Kent/Superman, Commander Shepard, LukeSkywalker, Shido Itsuka, Optimus Prime, Gordan Freeman, Barbarella, Malcolm Reynolds, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, Edward Elric, Thor, The Doctor, John Crichton, Samantha Carter
  • Rivals: The God-Emperor of Mankind
  • Enemies: KHAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!, Palpatine, Darth Vader, Nero, Tzentch, Judge Doom, The Cybermen, The Daleks, The Combine
  • Uneasy Relationship: Dr. Zauis, Honor Harrington, Commander Adama, John Sheridan
  • Admired by: Sheldon Cooper
  • Before the story of a galaxy far far away was published, there was another spaceship who were keen on exploring various new planets under the Captain's Log. The ship was known as the Enterprise and the most well-known Captain who commanded her was Kirk. A no-nonsense leader, he valued his teammates and did his best to keep them safe as they strive to go where no man has gone before.
  • Spock and McCoy are the only members of his crew who have ascended so far. The two constantly argue among one another over a number of topics. Here, Kirk serves as the mediator of the two; whenever the two argue about a solution to problems in any situation, Kirk always comes with an idea compromising theirs.
    • Him and Spock has been subjected to one of the earliest forms of Ho Yay in fiction. This increased exponentially with the death of Spock. Neither human nor Vulcan has commented on this development.
  • Acquired Seventeen Temporal Violations, the most of any Starfleet Captain As you can see, he's a bit of a rebel He even cheated on a simulation specifically designed to be impossible to beat.
  • Is famous for having *ahem* relations with at least 50 women from every universe in the multiverse (with a few exceptions), garnering him some punny but accurate nicknames that for the sake of good taste shall be omitted here. With that said, he isn't one to brag about his relationships. He just wants to find someone to love... and has horrible luck in keeping them alive.
    • When Lieutenant Mary Sue returned to the Pantheon proper, he respectfully nodded in acceptance but is still hesitant in keeping her in the Enterprise. She understood the hesitation and has decided not to pressure him into adding her.
  • His fanbase and that of Star Wars is one of the biggest rivalry among fans. That is not the case with him and Luke Skywalker, who are close friends. He even admitted that Lukewould probably kick his ass, though ship warfare would probably be a different affair.
  • There was another space show that predates his own by a couple of years. While he and his crew explored worlds on the Enterprise, the Doctor and his companions traveled through time in the TARDIS. Both fell into hard times with hiatuses but are now benefiting from a renaissance of interest. The Doctor was appalled to see that many of Kirk's fans were mistreated and called 'nerds'. Fans of Doctor Who are held in much higher regard across the pond.
  • Was met by a rather enthusiastic John Crichton, who thanked the Captain for his guidance. The former astronaut felt that his adventures in space helped shape him to be a captain of Kirk's likeness. Kirk himself was a fan of many of Crichton's plans to get his crew out of sticky situations.
  • Part of why Samantha Carter likes working with Kirk is that he sees her as a co-worker and nothing else. She was getting tired of the praise she was getting, so getting into an environment that relied on her expertise was relaxing. It helps that the Enterprise is focused more on exploration than any military excursions.
  • Due to his 'Avatar', Kirk is known to either... put on... Dramatic... Pauses... or... speakthingssoquickly.
  • At times, he has used a younger avatar from an Alternate Timeline for covert missions. Wonder Woman in particular adores that version, and likes to assist in said assignments.
  • Both Kirk and Picard have become befriended a young god called Shido Itsuka. Seeing much of themselves in Shido, the two captains offer him guidance whenever he faces a moral dilemma. Kirk, ever the ladies man, also likes giving him advice in how to sweep girls off their feet, to which Picard delivered his trademark reaction. They can't help but let out a small laugh at Shido's occasional crossdressing, much to Shido's annoyance.
  • Many believe much of his story can be derived from the Space Opera. The two pioneers of the genre ascended and went over to greet Kirk. Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon may not have been able to be as popular, but they have little ill will with Kirk's success.
  • It's safe to say that no matter how much Kirk tries to say his missions are in piece, certain aliens will try to eradicate them and their planet afterwards. The Combine and the Daleks are common enemies that he faces.
  • Among the unusual friends he gathered are Edward Elric, who sometimes sounds like Kirk and who intrigued the Captain with his powerful magic, and Thor, who is also an explorer of worlds and reminds Kirk of his father.
  • Sheldon Cooper and his posse of friends regard Kirk as one of their favorite shows to watch. Cooper may be more of a Spock fan, but he respects the Captain and his prowess in leadership.
  • Has become a fierce opposer of Judge Doom, as in addition to him being Obviously Evil, Kirk has cartoon experience, and Doom reminds him of the Klingon who killed his son.
  • The God-Emperor of Mankind has offered sums of money to fund their excursions on multiple occasions. Kirk has rejected all cases, stating he knows that the God-Emperor only wants to fund his explorations in order to find threats to exterminate.
  • There was a time when his ship entered Dr. Zaius' world after tracking down some Klingons. Kirk and Spock were able to free the gorilla of the Klingon's mind control, but that did not mean that the two were friends. Dr. Zaius maintained his hatred of humanity and warned that if anyone in the Enterprise crew try to interfere in their planet affairs again, they would be shot on sight. To the chimpanzee, letting them go was their way of being evil.
  • Kirk has maintained his stance that the Enterprise is strictly for exploration purposes. The reason they get into trouble with other alien species is usually die to misunderstandings or outright hostilities from the aliens. While they appreciate Honor Harrington's military presence for making the area safer, he is wary about fully cooperating with her. The same goes with all the other militaristic space deities. previous attempts to do so did not end well for them.

Gordon Ramsay, God of Angry Chefs

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0a3e6875e0603de1adc901657a7077a6.jpg
  • Demigod, but more than capable of throwing Greater Gods out of his House if they anger him
  • Symbol: A pitchfork flanked by the letters H and K, a Michelin Star, and/or a meat cleaver
  • Alignment: Neutral Good (Lawful with his care of the food safety and kitchen health, absolutely apeshit Chaotic when it doesn't follow his standards)
  • Portfolio: Angry Chef, Jerkass Has a Point, Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Laser-Guided Karma, Serious Business, The Mean Brit, Dropping all kinds of F Bombs, Expects others' cooking to ALWAYS be good
  • Domains: Cooking, Anger, Fire
  • Followers: The staff of Baratie, Chef Louis, Chef Skinner, Colette Tatou, Gene Jenkinson, The McDonald Brothers, Chef Vlad, Anatoly, Dieter Schwartz, Mel Sharples, Garrett Blackstock, Angus Cook, The Swedish Chef, Yev Kaseem/The Soup Nazi, Chef Sun Woo, Quasimodo, Gerome, The Lunch Lady Ghost, Chef Hatchet
  • Allies: All good-aligned Food and some Commerce deities, The Nostalgia Critic, The Angry Video Game Nerd, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Maes Hughes, Gamera, Benson Dunwood
  • Enemies: Anyone serving bad food like The Mafia of Cooks, Starjun, some evil-aligned Consumption deities, Sheldon J. Plankton, Asroc
  • Opposes: The very existence of the Flesh Eaters sub-house, Kurei, Donkey Kong, The Investigation Team
  • For the longest time, Gordon Ramsay has been around the Trope Pantheons ever since the House of Food was first established as the God of Perfectionist Cooking. One day, he took a good look at his then current title and found that it's kind of non-indicative; sure, he expects a lot out of other chefs but all he wanted for them is to be the best they can be. He decided to rectify this by bringing his case to the Court of the Gods.
    • The Judges decided to give him a fitting trope: Angry Chef. Why? He infamously loses it in Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares quite often, which add to his already existing fame. Mr. Ramsay found it fitting for him and accepted said trope, becoming one of the heads of the House of Food once again.
  • The House of Food has been a lot louder since his ascension and reascension. He still keeps his tone very civil and tranquil around customers and children. Nevertheless, many chefs there look up to Ramsay, valuing his knowledge and work ethic. He also has several allies in the House of Commerce due to his business savvy and well known cooking empire.
    • He is also responsible for enforcing a code of cleanliness in the kitchen. Anyone that allows their cooking station to go uncleaned for any longer than the standard dinner service gets his full fury.
  • He has declared that anyone who even thinks of serving raw food should be thrown out of the kitchen (and has done it several times already). Upon his ascension, he realized that some Gods prefer raw food and has modified his menu to reflect this, but anyone who attempts to serve raw food to customers that didn't order it gets a tirade of expletives at a minimum.
    • Obviously enough, badly-skilled cooks grinds his gears so much so he opposed the Mafia of Cooks and Plankton for making food so bad it drove away customers. They both are trying to find a way to get their food onto the main menu though chances are that won't be happening under his watch. Starjun seeks to take over the House of Food for himself, but Ramsay makes sure he stays in his assigned post and nothing beyond that. There are some evil-aligned sub-house of Consumption deities Ramsay had a bad footing with and he greatly opposed the very idea of the sub-house of Flesh Eaters; calling it, "an unfathomable and horrid mess that I refuse to ever set foot," though he admits a few deities there are not all bad.
    • He calls Chie, Yukiko, and Rise "very big disappointments" when it comes to Mystery Food X which he personally calls, "a pile of donkey *bleep* that makes raw meat look delicious". They did try to improve under his guidance but so far minimal progress has been made, much to his chagrin.
Ramsay: How the *bleep* can you let this slip by, huh?
Naoto: I don't know! It's a miracle that I'm still friends with them.
  • Some consider him to be a God of Emotion as well due to his constant outbursts. He maintains that he is a chef and his anger is a tool to make his fellow chefs learn from their mistakes. He did got so mad once, he swore for a whole day, causing even Cartman to listen in stunned silence.
    • This gave him Odd Friendships in the Angry Video Game Nerd and the Nostalgia Critic since the three often swear a lot. Surprisingly, the two don't lose it in front of Ramsay that much; in fact they respect him and like his food. Of course, when they start to bicker, Ramsay had to kick them out for a while to prevent another ruckus.
    • When pissed, he usually calls those around him "donkeys" or "doughnuts". He had to bite his tongue when he said that to Donkey Kong for many reasons. First, Donkey Kong laughed at his face. Second? The ape had a barrel ready to be thrown at the House of Food. Of course, this still led to the ape being thrown out. This is Gordon Ramsay we're talking about.
    • Benson is someone Ramsay can relate to due to getting pissed at their employees a lot and their anger towards them shows. Ramsay often tell Benson to not lose himself when giving his employees a yelling, especially after hearing that as a child, Benson never wanted to yell at first.
  • Has been known to stay his temper around children and amateur Chefs, but his reputation still intimidates them. That legendary temper got put to the test the day he met up with the Cutie Mark Crusaders coming into his Temple screaming, "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS MASTER CHEFS! YAY!!!" What happened next is between him, the CMC and the other Equestrian Gods.
The CMC: We're sorry, Mr. Ramsay.
Gordon: ...That's okay, kids. Uh... let's forget about this, alright?
    • He is surprised that a giant creature like Gamera can be friendly to kids. They've been allies since and Gamera is willing to be Ramsay's muscle should the head chef face a very powerful enemy.
  • Was nearly beaten up by Charlotte LaBouff after she believed he was hurting Tiana's feelings, when he was actually commending Tiana for her diligence and determination. They are on better terms now (thanks in no small part to Tiana's gumbo).
  • Is not afraid to admit that he loves his mum, even curbing his swearing in front of her. He heard that even Kurei also behaved around his mother, though that didn't stop Ramsay from opposing him and his violent ways.
  • Ramsay and Asroc don't really get along even if the latter is a great chef (with a specialty in sweets). While Ramsay is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, Asroc is just a jerk period, even setting aside his murderous hatred against normal humans. At the very least, he can agree with the notion that Mystery Food X is an atrocity to the culinary arts.
  • Has recently been in a rap battle against Julia Child. The jury is currently out on who won. Though he himself implied that he won.
  • Apparently, he acts the same way whenever he's the boss of something besides cooking. When a mortal studio wanted to make a video game based on him and Diner Dash, Ramsay himself made sure that they followed "exactly" what he wanted it to be like. Needless to say, he gave the House of Gaming quite the scare.
  • He got on Hot Ones after a lot of people were pestering him about appearing in an episode. He came in prepared... and refuses to have an experience like that ever again. That doesn't stop him from serving spicy chicken wings, since he knows there's a demand for it in the Pantheons.
  • "Raw, raw, raw! Get out of my kitchen!"

The Protectors of the Plot Continuum, Divine Organization of Mary Sue Hunters

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ppc_4751.jpg
Agents Jay and Acacia
  • Returning to: Pantheon Protectors and Hunters
  • The organization as a whole are Overdeities, and it's necessary in order to keep Sues under control. Most individual members range from Demideities to Intermediate.
  • Symbol: The PPC Logo
  • Alignment: Lawful Good as a whole, though at their worst they may slip into Chaotic Neutral due to losing their sanity over time during their careers.
  • Portfolio: Mary Sue Hunters, Running The Risk Of Becoming Like What They Are Hunting, Using any means necessary, Preparation Varies, All Stories Are Real Somewhere, Mega Crossover, Requiring a bit of knowledge in source materials, Deconstruction of fanworks, Not giving up in their mission, Genre Roulette, Using technology powered by stabilized plot holes, Metafiction, Overstaffed
  • Domains: Hunting, Creativity, Continuity, Narrative
  • High Priests: The Anti-Cliché and Mary-Sue Elimination Society
  • Allies: The SCP Foundation, The Men In Black, Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, Terry Pratchett, Cosmos, Lieutenant Mary Sue, Dream Of The Endless, Ichigo Momomiya, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O, Rintarou Okabe, Ahiru/Princess Tutu, Rika Furude, Peacock, Pinkie Pie, Meteora Osterreich
  • Enemies: Barbatos, The Anti-Monitor, Lord Fuse, Melkor, YHVH, Lucifer, Nekron, Merged Zamasu, Galeem and Dharkon, Tabuu, Polygon Man, SCP-173, BEN, Bernkastel, Herr Drosselmeyer, Altair
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork with: Malal, Cthulhu, Lambdadelta, Popuko & Pipimi, ZONE, Master Hand and Crazy Hand, Deadpool, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith
  • Currently Surveying: Haruhi Suzumiya
  • The PPC is a strong organization of multiple Agents, tasked with the capture and extermination of Mary Sues. Their work over the years granted them a position in the Pantheons. At first, they were a little irked considering their Department of Implausible Crossovers dealt with nonsensical crossovers but when they see that a considerable number of characters actually got along perfectly fine, they ultimately gave in.
    • Every agent packs a Mary Sue Litmus Device, which detects whether or not the person is a Sue note note note note note note note .
    • They have decided to kick out the Disgraces from the Pantheons entirely, seeing them more of a trouble than they're worth (and after getting a rude wake-up call from how people on the Isle of the Lost are treated). They're one of the few to remember them. To prevent something like the Disgraces existing again, the PPC are summoned to immediately quality control new gods.
  • Their role in the Court of the Gods are the pursuers of alleged Sues. In essence: They investigate potential Sues, and they prosecutes them with the help of the Senior Attorneys. donk-donk.
    • Nowadays, the Sues are brought to a near non-existent minimum, which they are grateful for. But since they fear that more will come, the Protectors requested Gygax and Arneson to be official Perimeter Guards of the Pantheons. The request was accepted and that's where the Protectors have been ever since.
  • The Organization finally ran a Litmus Test on Lieutenant Mary Sue and found that she passed. This let her escape out of their hellish custody and land her own Temple in the subhouse of Protagonists. Mary is forever thankful for them, and aids the PPC in their missions against the bad-fic Sues as a full-fledged member.
  • They have been trying to fend off SCP-173 since it has proven to be a troublesome annoyance for them thanks to 173's powers. Luckily, they are not alone as the SCP Foundation teamed up with them to contain 173 for longer. They also help keep up Masquerades around the Pantheons as not everybody takes being a fictional character too well. The same goes with partnering with the Men in Black; it helps that the MIB loaned neuralyzers to the Protectors to aid them in keeping the stability of the plot continuum.
  • To gain more allies in maintaining the plot continuum, they have made partnerships in Sir Terry Pratchett and Dream of the Endless, who gave them help should the Sues be more of a hassle than usual; it helps that their stories are inspired by Pratchett's which makes him get along with them easier. The Protectors also partnered with Ichigo Momomiya, Harry Porter and Percy Jackson since their followers often made a lot of Wish-Fulfillment stories with them and their friends in it; Harry is grateful that he's allies with them so that he can get away from a certain Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way...
    • They have made a diplomatic alliance with Cosmos, who supports their endeavors in their mission to maintain the continuums and that they'll make it in spite of their dysfunctional work environment. The other GUA leaders are obviously unhappy about this since for Melkor and Lucifer, less Sues mean less intervention from the GUAG and less freedom for every being respectively, YHVH is angry that a lawful organization refuses to cooperate with Him and Nekron is pissed that the entire universe is one step farther from destruction just by extermination of Sues.
    • Of course, when there's allies there's also enemies as well. Enemies that threaten The Multiverse like Barbatos, the Anti-Monitor and Lord Fuse are on their shitlist since they can potentially screw over the plot continuum if left unchecked, and the same goes for crossover villains like Galeem, Dharkon, Tabuu and Polygon Man with Galeem and Dharkon nearly destroying the Pantheons since their arrivals. They have better opinions on Master and Crazy Hand, though their ideas of maintaining order in the place clashed a lot with the Protectors quite often; Crazy Hand finds it a shame that he'll never be friends with some of the PPC's chaotic members because of this.
    • They hate BEN for not only his usual threat but spawning endless terrible OCs that serve to fulfill every horror fangirl's wet dream which some are trying to intrude into the Pantheons. Surprisingly, even BEN agrees he doesn't like his Fangirls too much.
    • Rick Sanchez and his grandson, Morty Smith often intervene in their missions. He does more harm than good since he's not there to kill Sues, he's there for getting materials for his experiments. Rick mostly doesn't care for them while Morty tries to at least smoothen their relations... well, emphasis on "tried".
Rick: Come on, Morty! I don't have time for their 'kill all Sues' bullshit. That's on them! *burps*
    • Because of her potential to disrupt all of space-time and the plot continuum, Haruhi Suzumiya is currently being surveyed by the PPC to prevent that. Kyon almost feel like it's a violation of privacy for him and the others, even though it's still necessary to keep her unaware of the Pantheons' true nature.
  • Malal was tasked to keep the Disgraces from coming back by keeping them in Retconnian. He threatens time and time again that he'll do anything to become canon again, which is why he has a rocky partnership with the PPC. On the topic of the Disgraces, it seems that Ryotaro Nogami and Rintarou Okabe were also aware that the Disgraces once existed due to being a Singularity Point and having Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory respectively; thus they cannot be affected by continuity changes, both space-time and plot-wise. Because of this, the two became liasons of the PPC to not let word get out of the Disgraces' former existence (not that they want to anyway).
  • Being from a metafictional story, the PPC allied themselves with Rika Furude and Ahiru and made enemies in Bernkastel and D.D. Drosselmeyer; Ahiru knows about story conventions since her previous adventure and Rika joins them just to have a chance against Bernkastel who violated norms of stories to give readers crises about what they love. Drosselmeyer abuses his characters and even his son just to make his story interesting which normally the PPC gloss over but can't this time because he has bent enough fictional laws to do so. Lambdadelta might not be a helpful ally to the PPC, because she would rather see them getting hilariously hurt by Bernkastel instead though she will help if Bernkastel's Trolling did go too far.
    • Meteora Osterreich provides a lot of help to the PPC, giving out exposition to them as per her original purpose. Altair nearly destroyed the real world of her universe in order to avenge her Creator, which makes her as guilty as the other villains they have faced before; even more so that she admitted to not even regret her actions towards the world.
    • Deadpool prioritizes doing whatever he wants over helping the PPC, though how much he's helping them depends on his mood. His other mates in the fourth-wall-breaking biz, Pinkie Pie and Peacock have better chances in providing cooperation; Peacock understands their situation fully since... well, she'll reference anything and Pinkie finds the Sues absolutely no fun since who would wanna like a perfectly perfect person?
  • The Protectors once had a procedure where they feed Mary Sues to Cthulhu in order to dispose of them forever, but the practice stopped once he became too full to eat them. Nowadays, Cthulhu doesn't want to eat anymore Sues not just because he doesn't want to be full, but also because the Sues left a lot of bad tastes in his mouth.
  • There has been numerous reports of gag manga characters being more powerful and bring more destruction than any other character, which led them to Popuko & Pipimi. Despite giving them warnings, the agents sent to do so got smacked hard the moment one of them said "subculture bitch"; they still admit they would give Sues a beating should they cross the girls' paths. The artist ZONE also got warnings from the PPC that her characterizations of other characters will bring in unnecessary OOC duplicates of ascended deities that can potentially swarm the Pantheons and cause endless chaos. She ignores them, forcing the PPC to prepare themselves for this hypothetical situation.

@Protectors Of The Plot Continuum Given how the author of Log Horizon did approve and incorporate Original Characters from various fanworks into the anime adaption, I could imagine interactions with Shiroe and Akatsuki.

[down] Is there anything wrong with talking about Log Horizon? Is it because Log Horizon is a rip-off of Sword Art Online?

@PPC: Add that they also remember the Fallen and why it was also removed from everyone else's memory. They weren't worse than the Disgraces, so there's no real reason to retcon it from the PPC's minds as well.

Rework Mode

All right. I have finished in writing down Kuja's redemption. Kuja's rework will come after this.

Zidane Tribal, God of Cultured Warriors (Angel of Death)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/zidane_tribal_01.png
  • Intermediate God, Greater God during Trance
  • Symbol: His two knives crossing
  • Theme Song: Zidane's Theme
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good
  • Portfolio: All-Loving Hero, Anti Anti Christ, Artificial Human, Chivalrous Pervert Who Stops Acting Perverted Toward His Love Interest, Chronic Hero Syndrome, Doom Magnet, Dual Wielding, Double Weapon, Genre Savvy, Gentleman Thief, Keet, Little Bit Beastly, Lovable Rogue, Sixteen Years Old, Nice Guy
  • Domains: Theft, Culture, Acting, Combat
  • Allies:
  • Special Relationship: Kuja (his brother)
  • Is skilled at tricking enemies to turn their attention away from him and his party members long enough for all of them to maneuver into a position for a Back Attack against the enemy.
  • He became fast friends with Aladdin as both happen to be acrobatic rogues. naturally, this put Zidane at odds with Jafar.
Naturally, some GUAE members tried to get in Zidane's way, only for the Lunarian to stop them, and then the conflict soon escalated as others took interest in it and took sides, making Golbez's task much more complicated. Still, somehow, Zidane was soon able to incapacitate Kuja, then—as planned—he and Golbez were spirited away with a teleporter that would take them somewhere more private.
    • In their secluded area, Zidane finally got Kuja to spill; the reason the latter turned heel again was due to what happened in the 12th cycle in the Dissidia wars; he truly was against Chaos's side, but Kefka's intervention forced his hand, and the mad clown would later alter his memories for the next cycle, which Golbez corroborates, recalling Kefka's gloating back when he was serving the GUAE.
    • After that explanation, Kuja asked what will happen next. Zidane offered him to join him in the GUAG, just like him and Golbez, at the Ministry of Atonement to be exact. And this time, there will be no intervention from Kefka or anyone else as they make their way to Cosmos, which won't be long since they had teleported to the House of Heroes. Kuja wasn't sure; he's played and reveled in the role of villain for far too long, and his tenure as an inside man didn't really go well. Zidane promised to help him every step of the way. Being a (soon to be) fellow defector from Chaos, Golbez also offered to lend a hand when he can.
    • One successful visit to Cosmos later, Kuja's redemption was solidified, and defensive measures have been arranged to ensure that Kefka or anyone else won't be able to repeat the mad clown's stunt again.

And here it is. I just don't know where to go from there. His profile's pretty barebones as it is.

Kuja, God of Viewer Gender Confusion and Fashion Victim Villains (The Angel of Death, the Graceful Glider, Kuji-coo, Kuja-kun)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kuja_01.png
  • Intermediate God
  • Symbol: A Silver Feather
  • Theme Music: "Immoral Melody", "The Dark Messenger"
  • Alignment: Neutral Evil -> True Neutral trying to be Neutral Good
  • Portfolio: Disturbingly Feminine Men, Viewer Gender Confusion, Questionable Fashion Sense, Overuse of Theatrical Metaphors, Raging Narcissism, Total Mental Collapse Followed By World-Endangering Suicide Attempts, Camp Straight
  • Domains: Charm, Destruction, Magic, Pride
  • (Former) Allies: Kefka, Sephiroth, Chaos, Vega The Evil Queen, Queen Sectoria, Ardyn Izunia
  • Special Relationship: Zidane
  • Unlike Bridget, nobody confuses him for a female... when they meet him in person face to face. View him remotely, and you'll be convinced he's female. The current theory the House of Knowledge has proposed is that he has very masculine pheromones.
  • If asked, The Question would argue that once you notice the man-thong, you can't un-notice it.
  • After Dissidia 012, Kuja's Character Development since his original ascension caused him to consider approaching Cosmos to ask for a chance to change sides and become Neutral Good. Kefka heard of this and played what he referred to as "Mind Rape The Genome's Memories" while Kuja was sleeping one night, and those plans were quickly discarded as Kuja embraced his alignment anew.
  • Due to him being part of the Akira Ishida family, Yuno has placed him on her shit list.
  • Is part of a group known as "Rule of Beauty" consisting of him, Vega, The Evil Queen and Queen Sectoria. They do argue who is the prettiest of them all, but they can put away their differences to kill any one who think they are better than them. Where he might be just The Dark Chick, the rest of them team know that he can potentially be the most dangerous member of the team, so they treat him with care.
  • When not in his temple, he can be seen in the House of Theater viewing the latest creations of the gods there.
  • One day, Kuja found Zidane confronting him, and Golbez suspiciously keeping his distance. Due to Kefka's brainwashing, he attacked his fellow Genome, who countered and battled hard with intent to take him down and in a bid to make him remember their last conversation in Gaia. Allies (or at least those who oppose Zidane) tried to come to his aid, only for Golbez to keep them out of this "quarrel between brothers" and the battle shortly escalated as gods joined in and took sides in the conflict, making the Lunarian's task much more complicated. Still, somehow, Zidane was soon able to incapacitate Kuja, then—as planned—the two and Golbez were spirited away with a teleporter that would take them somewhere more private.
    • In their secluded area, Zidane finally got Kuja to spill; the reason the latter turned heel again was due to what happened in the 12th cycle in the Dissidia wars; he truly was against Chaos's side, but Kefka's intervention forced his hand, and the mad clown would later alter his memories for the next cycle, which Golbez corroborated, recalling Kefka's gloating back when he was serving the GUAE.

If possible, I want to add something for Kane on his posted entry.

  • Opposes: Embryo

  • Despite having the same amount of charisma, devotion to Tiberium, and interactions with STRONG, INTELLIGENT WOMEN (who are short-haired blondes to boot), Kane outright Kane sees Embryo and his methods as utterly flawed. It's no doubt he calls Embryo a human personification of Lucifer: handsome and powerful, yet narcissistic and lustful.
    • Embryo's kingdom of Mana is an example of the Brotherhood of Nod to not follow. The Mana users are condemned as heretics who violate the sacred crystal with their complacency and aimless hatred.
    • Despite that, he still makes enemies out of the Norma and Dragons for allowing human experimentation and, despite being a far more admiring and Benevolent Boss, causing the deaths of even his own men. The Dragons aren't friendly with Kane or his Nod followers either; some say the usage of Tiberium has set back their attempts to clean the environment, while others say Kane's Brotherhood is trying to replace their very existence. What makes them hate him more is how his plans actually work- he saves the world despite his unsavory methods- and keeps his promise regarding Ascension. The only thing that allows Nod and the world of Aura to remain at peace is the threat of the Scrin, which is suspected to outmatch a mere handful of Ragna-mails.

Nightelf: For Zidane, I want to see him interacting with Issei and also William Shakespeare and some of his creations in the pantheon (if you don't mind since I dont know a lot of Final Fantasy, hopefully this is a good suggestion)

I also want to see the Zidane and Kuja's interactions with other Final Fantasy heroes and villains (just do whoever you want them to interact with)

I don't know if this is a good idea and a horrible one at that, but could they interact with the Zelda characters in the pantheon

@ Kuja: A mention of some of the ascended Jojo villains and their questionable choices on fashion? Some of the biggest standouts are DIO's children: Donatello Versace, Ungalo, and Rikiel.

"Another MonHun rework should not of taken this long" I said. It's late into March now. Well, it can't be helped.

I think I had 1 [tup] from nightelf if I made the additions which I did now.

Lagiacrus, God of Underwater Boss Battles (The Lord of the Seas, Sea Wyvern, Lagi, Lagia; Ivory Lagiacrus: White Sea Wyvern, The Ruler of Two Realms, Ivory Lagi, I. Lagi, White Lagia, White Lagiacrus, Land Lagia; Abyssal Lagiacrus: Dark Sea Wyvern, Abyssal Lagia)

Ivory Lagiacrus
Abyssal Lagiacrus
  • Intermediate God (Lagiacrus and Ivory Lagiacrus), Greater God (Abyssal Lagiacrus)
  • Symbol: The Hunter's Guild's icon for Lagiacrus, Ivory Lagiacrus and Abyssal Lagiacrus
  • Theme Song: Tremble of the Sea and Land (Normal and Ivory), Devil of the Sea (Abyssal)

  • Portfolio: Prowling the Land and Seas, Crocodilian, Cobra-like, and Eel-like, Bioelectricity, Spitting Ball Lightning, Lightning Bruiser, Red Herring for the Moga Village Earthquakes, Variants with Hard Heads, Creates Whirlpools to Attack (Abyssal), Sea Dragons, True Final Boss (Abyssal only)
  • Domains: Sea, Lightning, Leviathans
  • Size: 2357.2cm - 3310.6cm (Lagiacrus); 2516.0cm - 3310.6cm (Ivory Lagiacrus); 3969.3cm (Abyssal Lagiacrus)
  • Allies: Aquaman, Bruce, Ampharos, Thor
  • Rivals: Rathalos, Rajang, Zinogre, The Gill-Man, Liopleurodon, Moby-Dick, Monstro, Red Gyarados
  • Enemies: Plesioth, Davy Jones, The Kraken
  • Opposed by/Opposes: The Monster Hunters
  • Feared by: Pikachu, Popplio, Oshawott
  • Avoids: Akira Otoishi
  • Herald: Ceadeus
  • Followers: All other Monsters that can be fought underwater, Emerald WEAPON, Maws, The Lurker Below
  • In earlier times, the seas of the Pantheon suddenly grew dark and stormy the day the Lagiacrus was first sighted in the Pantheon. Many of the gods not suited to such a thing chose to stay on land until the threat could be evaluated... except Aquaman, who rose to the challenge of taming the beast. He succeeded, earning further respect from his House and putting his past as the Patron Saint of Stupid Powers behind him for good. After Aquaman tamed the first Lagiacrus, rumors of variants of the species - one ivory-hued, the other black as the bottom of the sea - started to arise. Aquaman leads the charge in investigating these rumors, and a habitat in this house is under construction so these majestic sea dragons can thrive. He was surprised however, when the Ivory Lagiacrus showed that it is mainly a land-dweller. And that is to say nothing at his shock that the Abyssal Lagiacrus is an ultra-deep ocean dweller (though he should have seen it coming with a name like that). He's currently also trying to figure out how an air-breathing creature manages to stay at those depths, energetically and actively hunting, for hours at a time.
  • Competes with other aquatic creatures in the Pantheon and tends to be highest on the food chain. To the Lagiacrus, the ability to produce Thunder attacks using its special organs makes the Leviathan almost unmatched in its home turf that is the seas. Its technique of creating a whirlpool to ensnare and electrocute prey and/or would-be attackers, which are powerful enough to even sink ships, also helps cement its rule. Those who are especially weak to electricity, such as the Plesioths, steer clear of it like the plague. Meanwhile Thor has respect for the beasts' ability to control electricity even if they are on dry land. Pikachu, on the other hand, is outright terrified of Lagiacrus species. Though helping to contribute in that fear is the massive size difference between the two, and that even the smalled recorded Lagiacrus dwarfs even Wailord. Popplio and Oshawott soon joined that club right after due to their own weaknesses towards electricity and have made it a point to avoid any waters the Lagis roam in.
    • The Lagi has competition with the Rajang and Zinogre to see who has the most potent electrical current among all of them, alongside their respective variations such as the Thunderlord Zinogre, for example. Eventually, other users of electricity such as Gigavolt Manowar, Eelektross, and Xurkitree got caught up in the mix, though the former is on the more hostile side of things thanks to the Reploid's attempts at stealing their electricity for himself. Cole MaGrath, being partners with Xurkitree, tends to break up the fights before they escalate into something disastrous. And it has happened to the House of Family where much of it went dark.
    • None of the Lagis want anything to do with Akira Otoishi as his Stand, Red Hot Chili Pepper, could easily empower itself from their electricity produced by them. Add in the fact they can't even perceive RHCP in the first place and that with enough power it can easily outmatch them in sheer speed they avoid the rockstar whenever they can. Good thing for Akira too; He'd rather not risk guitar his guitar smashed to pieces after the hard he did to steal the parts to make it.
  • Was mistakenly blamed for the earthquakes that have hit Moga Village. In actuality it was its Herald, the Elder Dragon Ceadeus, that caused them. It did so because of the pain surrounding the pain of one of its horns growing over an eye. The regular one still bears a grudge against the Monster Hunters because of that mistake.
  • Much like how the Flying Wyvern known as the Rathalos is called the King of the Skies, the Lagiacrus is meanwhile called the Lord of the Seas. You will never find a Lagiacrus far from a large body of water, the Abyssal Lagiacrus in particular seemingly never leaving the seas period, much less the abyss level itself. Besides the House of Water And Ice, the Lagi also makes its home at the House of Aquatic Life and the springs within the House of Plants. Though they spend more time underwater, the Lagi also come up to the surface to sunbathe. When visiting some of hot-springs of the Pantheon, you can sometimes find the Lagiacrus dwelling there much like it had when in the Misty Peaks.
  • The Lagis have a very frosty relationship with any cephalopods they encounter in the Pantheon. This is because while they tend to be at the top of the food chain of their world, they are one of the many prey of the Nakarkos, a monstrous Elder Dragon that surrounds itself and uses the bones of other monsters it had devoured. It is for that reason why it attacks Davy Jones and the Kraken whenever it can, sometimes even waiting for more inopportune moments like when dealing with their own enemies they've made in the Pantheon.
  • There have been some early documented appearances of one appearing in the New World. There have been no further appearances after these sightings have surfaced, however. Some members from the House of Investigative Work have joined those from the House of Hunters to look further into this. No one did quite saw Sub-Species coming in the New World, nor the sudden reemergence of a fabled Elder Dragon draped in gold.
  • In Monster Hunter: Stories, it is one of the many Monsties Lute can tame and fight alongside with, even riding it in battle. Though Aquaman has done it prior the the Lagi's ascension, that hasn't stopped other people from trying to take control of it for their own selfish purposes.
  • Some deities have noticed that the Abyssal Lagiacrus shares a similar color scheme with some members of the Abyssal Fleet. Though it lurks deep enough in the Pantheon's waters to not be bothered by them or their fights with the ship girls, occasionally some members of the Abyssal Fleet such as Wo-Class may mistake as one of them before doing a Double Take.
  • Also has a spot in Boss Fights/Water and Moisture.

All my fault, you say...? What fault? I daresay it's all thanks to me.
