Teen Titans—Still faster than Drue.

Beast boy looked at Anna , the taller woman from below. His ears became folded down below as metaphorical bulb appeared above his head. Now it all made sense. Why those kids were suddenly so afraid of him. Still it didn't explain how they didn't laugh about his perfectly bad jokes. Or maybe Raven was right in calling him annoying? Nah that couldn't be, right?

"Oh I see." Beast boy smiled to Anna, putting his palm on his forehead." Where we come lots people have powers too. Some of them become superheroes and others super villains."

Still it wasn't hard to remember back home it wasn't that easy for everyone.

"Most of us don't have to pay for our powers ," Though Raven has to control her emotions. She's a litle gloomy sometimes, and she hardly ever laughs at my jokes. That's not her price, tough. She is that grumpy."

"What did you say about me!?" Raven said with anger , despite the fact that she wasn't even around.

"Uhm nothing" Beast boy sweated.

Still Anna would notice some concern in his eyes when The speedster said that they had a risk, their powers linked to their very life's to the point they might even die.

"Man I wish Starfire was here" he scratched his head. " But, She always said that our powers are a part of ourselves. And for the record, I think you're powers are pretty sweet." He put his hands at his waist. " I bet you're as fast as kid flash!"

Meanwhile at the portal, Luca' (The Jedi knight) dismissal was met with a roll of her eyes. "And they say I am cold." Although she wasn't exactly the most sociable person, Raven did try to approach the group outside to try to learn more about them. "So you're Dmitry and Jai. I assume you work for Pandora too?" She asked them coldly.

When Luca called everyone to follow her, Perhaps she would notice that Cyborg had been staring at her longer than nesessary.

"You have been busy, haven't you?" Robin smirked to Cyborg, obviously teasing him.

"Nah, she is just a cool person I met earlier." Cyborg blushed.

When asked about his name, the teenage hero replied, "Name's Cyborg," He replied with a wide grin to the heavy lifter. "What about yours?"

Meanwhile all the attention Cyborg was getting didn't escape Robin's attention. He crossed his arms and kept himself silent for the time being.

Beast Boy waved his goodbyes to the kids and Anna, not minding the coldness in the kid's reaction. "Phew those kids sure where a tough audience." What is Raven doing?" He thought to himself. Just after Anna left he would then go and join Raven.

Meanwhile all the attention Cyborg was getting didn't escape Robin's attention. He crossed his arms and kept himself silent for the time being.

Carlos, vaper group, death sun — unwanted stalker

When I was an apprentice, the world had looked so much shinier, easier. We had the power to command the elements of the universe, to bend it to our own whims. Even the smartest kid earns their stripes thinking in the back of their minds that no matter what happens, there wasn't much out there that could stop you.

Then they tossed us to the front lines of war, and man did that ever change. Your first fight, half your squad might get torn apart by vampires, if you're lucky. Me? I lost three quarters of every wizard I had ever known in my first. Reality has a way of smacking you right in the face like that; things go wrong, it's as simple as that. It killed me at first. Then, like everyone else, I got used to it and soldiered on.

Even knowing that good and well though, man, the universe never runs out of its stock of unpleasant surprises.

My face froze when the helmet came off. Oh dios. This woman can't be serious

I stared at her. She grinned back.

"Uh, Los", Harry whispered next to me, "Isn't this that woman whose brains you blew out in front of god and everyone?"

I had to try a couple times to get my mouth working. "With most people, you'd think that'd be enough. There isn't a man on earth who's more used to being stalked by the ladies than me, but this is ridiculous."

He snorted softly, but he didn't laugh. "Think we can fry her wrist thingy before she sets off the alarm?"

I frowned. Then I glanced at Harry, raised an eyebrow, and said "Don't care. You all do you, I'll handle this."

He cocked his head at me, then groaned. "Oh come on, man, now is not the time for you to"

I shoved past him and cracked my fist. "The lady personally requested me, who am I to say no?" I smirked; the half-brained redhead wanted to call me out in front of everyone? Carlos Ramirez never backs down from a direct challenge. Besides, if she was after me personally, then this was all my responsibility. I'd handle it before it could backlash onto anyone else.

Death Star, Corridor Crossroads: Moving On!

Her gauntlet raised, Havoc handed the datapad to the nearest nobody (Batman, as it turned out) with a smirk.

"Good luck."

With the others well on their way to certain doom face the Emperor, Havoc gestured for Carlos to come with her. She made sure to walk by his side, the holocom in the hand furthest from the Warden.

"Found a nice little space we can settle this." she explained, feigning indifference. "I'll send the distress call when we reach it; think of it as assurance, to keep either of us from cheating with a head start."

Havoc's manner started to shift as they walked. Nothing substantial, of course—head and back straightened, eyes wide open, voice a few notes higher from her normal alto gruff—maybe just enough for Carlos to notice she felt different around him than she did around almost anyone else. She was serious, deadly serious come to think of it, but she treated him with a hint of playfulness and humor, like a dangerous animal trying to express approval in its own, alien way. Like a shark trying to show an uncaged diver that it wants to be friends!

"Saw your fight with the robot." said Havoc. "How far did you get, anyway? In yesterday's tournament."

The Cure-Common Room

The Cure looked at the newest newcomers to the Battleworld. "You may call me The Cure. Allow me to get the usual questions out of the way. You and your land have been pulled from your world and placed onto my world, the Battleworld, for the purposes of amusing me by going to war with each other. This world is made up on many lands from many worlds, some who may be familiar to you, some completely alien. I will not force you to war with everyone, nor prevent you from forming alliances, but have little doubt that if you fail to be the aggressor, at some point you will become the defender. Not everyone here will sit and play nice with you. Play the game, and I am willing to reward you with whatever you wish, within reason. Defy me, and you will find you will not like what happens. Questions?"

Megatron-Death Star Surface

Megatron smirked as Prime charged him with his ax. Completely ignoring the other bot, whenever it was due to him detecting the illusion or just completely disregarding any other target, Megatron drew his giant energy sword and clashed blades with Prime.

Prime. How I've waited for this moment. The wait was agonizing, how tempted I was to storm your city with the full might of my army just to find you. My time wasted dealing with these fleshlings. These fools hiding in their metal shell can do what they may, they will be dealt with soon enough. But now, now I plan to enjoy myself.

Megatron let go of the blade with one hand to throw a quick fist under the blade clash, aimed for Prime's midsection.

This time, you will not escape with your spark intact, Prime

Mahora-Pizza Shop

Dante and Nero gace each other another "Holy shit this guy's for real" look for a good second before Dnte chuckled.

"Oh, sure, you're a clone. Ok. Why not? Hell I had that trick for a while too way back when, come to think of it, stopped using it cause that was way too easy, same reasons I stopped using that time stop power. I mean, that's just cheating, you know?"

"So....Ninja, eh?" Nero asked. "What weird ass life did you lead to end up becoming a ninja?"

Gaige-Castlevania

Gaige nodded, suddenly coming up with the perfect idea for what to make her. Robot maid, lots of built in guns and stuff, programmed to talk all fancy and polite and serve tea and whatnot. Ya, she'd probably like that. Then she saw the zombie army rise, and had to hold in a squee before she turned to Death.

"Alright, cool, cool, I can work with that, So where's the laboratory or forge or whatever we call it here?

Raira Academy

The imp searching Wiess took one look at her "Art Supplies" and scowled behind his helmet while the commander gave her a disgusted look.

"Art supplies? Don't make me laugh, girl. I know spice when I see one. This facility may tolerate you being a spice addict, but spice is illegal within Imperial space. Take it."

Finishing the search, the man took the dust off of Wiess. The commander then turned to Vorona.

"Ah, yes, I'll have you lead to his office shortly, but first we need the key to the cuffs. Standard procedure, of course." He held out his hand expediently for the key.

Trish-Former Hell

Considering the weirdness of this whole situation, Trish seemed to be taking it really well. You got used to weird shit like this when your origin story was "I'm a demon made to look like some guy's mom so he can be lured to an island so a stupidly powerful demon lord could kill him"

"Sure, whatever you say." Trish said with a shrug. "Sorry, not really into the whole melodramatic thing, that's Dante's department."

Harley-Hospital First Floor

Harley turned to look over the prisoners once she was done laughing at the running Imps. F Irst she walked over to the first man, the trooper, and yanked off his helmet. He proceeded to try to spit in her face, but she dodged before it hit her.

"Do what-" The man was cut off by Harley's giant oversized mallet hitting him in the face and crushing it. He fell to the floor, and she repeatedly wacked his head with it, spurting blood and brain matter everywhere before she stopped, took some blood on her finger, painted a smiling face on the helmet, and put it back on what remained of his head.

"He's all yours, boys!" She said before she walked over to the third man, ignoring the second one completely. She walked over and grabbed the papers out of the one kid's hand, looking at them as she spoke.

"So he's a teacher? I went to school once, even got a college degree. But I can't say I was ever a fan of those professors, leering and being creeps. You're not one of those teachers, are you, bucko?" She asked as she nudged Nasujima with the bloody end of her mallet.

Alice-Death Star

Alice would eventully find herself in front of a large door, in front of which were no less then 8 [1] Imperial Guardsmen stood, in a line on both sides of the hallway wide enough for about 4 men to stand shoulder to shoulder, and another two in front of the door with their pikes crossed. None of the men so much as moved an inch as Alice walked down the hallway, having been briefed prior by Vader. As she reached the last ones, they uncrossed their pikes to allow access.

Inside, Alice would find Vader standing in the middle of a large room shaped like a triangle, with the door in the middle of one side and the elevator to the Emperor's Throne Room at the opposite point. Small windows were visible far above their heads, as was a large structure not unlike a large, circular series of towers that might resemble a city skyline if it was not upside down and far above their heads. Already facing the door, he spoke once it slammed shut.

So, you have come. I would have your answer. Abandon this world and join the Empire, or raise your blade in defiance, and join the legions of dead who have fallen at my feet.

Vader Group-Death Star

Meanwhile, once they got moving, the attack group would soon find themselves outside that same door. this time, they did no go ignored, and the first 4 Imperial guards lined up in formation. There was no attempt to yell or issue orders as the Imperial Guard readied their pikes and marched toward the intruders.

Xiaolian and Death - Common Room

Death spoke first. "Do threats count as defiance?" He glared hard at the Cure. He had killed beings from the other side before. Getting between him and his boy was damn stupid.

Xiaolian held up a hand, preventing her husband from continuing. "Just one: what is the current state of Battleworld? Alliances, our neighbours, current wars?"

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.

Death Star Surface

What's wrong, Prime? No pithy remarks?

Megatron's right boot scraped against the hull, sending up a shower of sparks as he pivoted and touched down.

His optics narrowed slightly as he caught sight of Optimus, not deviating so much as a centimeter with "Prowl's" arrival. He raised his cannon arm, drawing back his left as he did so.

Hrraaah!

The cannon screamed at the hologram, aimed dead center, while Megatron's morningstar came about in an arc toward the Prime's head.

ALIVE! Will get back in full contact soon.

Tarkin Team: Death Star

The path to Tarkin diverted from the path towards the Throne Room, towards the main Command Bridge to the entire battlestation. Room after room after corridor after corridor, all no doubt filled with Imperials who would fight to the end for each and every inch.

Fixer would see on his map that it would be a difficult approach, but there was an alternative - running roughly along the same path beneath them was one of the many superlaser focusing tubes, where the kyber crystals were regularly aligned and tested for live fire. The tube ran most of the length beneath the command deck, and was wide enough to accomodate a group. Of course, that ran the risk of the superlaser's regularly scheduled "alignment tests", isolated superlaser ignitions that served to prepare the battlestation for a proper firing.

The nearest access hatch to the tube was in the room up ahead - an Imperial engineering station, though it was too much to hope it would be lightly guarded.

Over the intercom, a voice rang out. Carefully pronounced, each "r" rolled and yet completely devoid of warmth or flair. Tarkin himself.

"Gentlemen, our Empire is formed based on the understanding that each cog in its machine is replaceable, no matter how great. This battlestation is the sweat and toil of a cog by the name of Orson Krennic, a man who was sadly consumed by his weaknesses and died in the regrettable Rebel assault on Scarif. He, for all his service, came to understand that in the grand scheme the Empire would continue without him. And I ask only that each of you understand the same. Eventually, you will die in the service of the order, but you are not dead yet. And you will fight our enemies as though you were invincible, for what greater way is there to live in the employ of the Galactic Empire?"

Shuttle Approach

Celty, Travis, Damien and all the others packed into the shuttle would hear a pinging noise from the shuttle's comm-unit. Once answered, a gruff, pseudo-British accent spoke out.

"Attention Imperial Shuttle, divert course to Command Hangar 14 and provide ISB security codes assigned to Agent Raan for authorisation to access the command deck."

Okuu's Flying Hell Tour
"Ehhh...You're gonna have to introduce me to this Dante guy. He'll enjoy it here," Okuu said, unamused as the both of them lifted off the ground.

Trish would quickly find that the laws of gravity had decided to take a sick day for the moment, as the heels of her boots left the earth and slowly ascended into the sky. Just by thinking about it, no effort required, she could move anywhere and anyway she wanted.

Okuu herself didn't even have to flap her wings, and that was a relief. She didn't even mind the giant, rapidly-rotating magical sigil floating behind her because of it.

"Okay, then! Just follow me, and I'll try and show you around town before we get there!"

So began the magically-assisted mystery tour that Utsuho was about to take this outsider on. It didn't take that long to get to their first real stop, but the raven constantly spoke about everything she could spot on the trip over, naming things like preferred restaurants and whatnot with painful amounts of barely-remembered and incorrect detail. So, we present what she said in abridged form.

The Former Capital of Hell! The great abandoned city that never was abandoned. Population's pretty high, lots of kinds of folk, and most of 'em are kind. They flew low over the roofs of houses and buildings, a few other people also in the sky with them, minding their own business. Odd enough was that, even if rain seemed impossible down here, all the roofs were slanted to deal with it...

Utsuho explained what she knew of the town in more detail. She'd been living here even before there was a permanent settlement for the workers back when it used to be a fully functioning Hell, so she knew a thing or two. Everyone here that didn't have black feathers or two cat tails was an immigrant in some way, even if the Oni worked there they used to live back up above, and the many other kinds of Youkai who had to come down for one reason or another. She never elaborated on exactly why.

The houses with their lanterns, and streets with their people, started to thin out noticeably as they kept going along. Soon, there were only a few lit lanterns, with some old buildings looking long abandoned from the cursory glances they got as they sped overhead. Then, there weren't even buildings. The blackened cave floor stretched uninterrupted all the way from the outskirts of the city to the one glowing, monolithic building at the other edge of the cave, with only one winding path leading between them.

The building in question? "Chireiden, Palace of The Earth Spirits! Me, Rin's, and my master's place!" as Okuu put it.

It was a great structure of stone and glass done in a style that evoked images of Gothic cathedrals, but was ultimately its own bizarre style, entirely unique under the heavens and earth. The front gate was dominated by the etching of a large eye on its archway, barely visible from the bright light of the furnace behind it.

Such a foreboding place hardly seemed like it would be the roost of this cheerful bird, but Hell's weird like that.

The courtyard was a little more lively than its facade, having a few hardy plants arranged in rows and tiled pathways leading up to what looked like a massive well with smoke bellowing out of it. Without further ado, Okuu dived down inside it and towards the halfway point.

"...and after we're done here, I'll make sure to invite you inside. We even have heated floors," Okuu said as she finished up the first leg of the tour. With a wide sweep of her hand, she laid out the burning hellscape behind her, and proudly said "But in any case, welcome to Hell!"

Burning Hellscape was a pretty apt descriptor, though it didn't look as bad as you might think. In all directions, nothing but freely flowing lava swirled and churned in a pool that stretched beyond what the eye could see, burning brightly and inexplicably burning, as in fires as tall as towers were sprouting all over the place. The distance ahead was hidden with a thick orange fog, and the entire place was extremely bright compared to the darkness of the cavern above them.

"Established back before the Hakurei Barrier was even considered, The Hell of Burning Fires was created to house the many souls of the eternally damned and, having been locked out of the cycle of reincarnation, provide the last stop for many people!" she cheerfully explained, suddenly becoming much more eloquent and lacking any stops or pauses. "Nowadays it isn't accepting new arrivals, but it still heats the approximately 10,560 permanent residents of the Former Capital, and runs on a hybridized magic-fusion sacrificial engine operating to the east of us!"

"And, let me tell you, if you ever want to get into a real duel, this is-" was what she got out before a cascade of yellow spheres, each as big as a man, emanated from her person in rows and shot out towards Trish. Okuu had managed about 20 whole minutes without inadvertently thinking about shooting the outsider, which was all she could manage.

Koishi, Santa Destroy Desert
The crash of metal from Death Parade's charge earned a momentary glance from Koishi as she bent over backwards to look at it, holding onto her hat as she flipped her whole body back to look. Cool, but she had something more interesting above her. Those metal things would be around for long enough for her to cheer them on later.

The satori flipped all the way back to look at the helicopter, squinting in the desert sun to get a better look at it. She couldn't make out the people inside just yet, but she could see the glint of the camera's lens reflecting...which was strange. Satori had told her that some people communicate by flashing messages with mirrors and sunlight, but she never bothered teaching her what it meant.

Were these mysterious flying men trying to speak to her? How did they know who she was? What message did they have that was so important, it needed to be delivered by mirror? All of these and more couldn't wait to be answered! Time to ask them in person!

Koishi briefly looked away from the camera for a moment as she said goodbye to the man underneath her, only to suddenly shoot towards them at full speed, bridging the gap between her and the helicopter in record time! Once she got in range, she waved to the crew of the machine as she latched onto whatever she could with her veins, wrapping them around the landing skids and doors to make sure she didn't fall away from the thing. Safety was important!

Even if it was lost among the roar of the battle and sound of the rotor blades, Koishi offered a hearty "Hello, there! How're you all doing?" as she made her entrance.

The Cure-Common Room

The Cure shook his head, ignoring Death. "That, I will not tell you. You may find a map of Battleworld at the center of the table listing each land, but anything else, you will need to work out on your own. I advise speaking to those you now share a world with, some may possess the information you seek."

Delta/Lady-Death Star Hallway

Fixer suddenly motioned for the group to stop as he halted outside a control room just in time for Tarkin's announcement. At the end of it, Lady spoke.

"Someone needs to shoot this guy."

Boss muttered a curse in Mandolorion in response. Fixer then held the map for everyone to see.

"So reviewing the map, we have two choices for how to approach. We can go down this winding series of corridors and cut through a series of rooms, all of which are probably guarded by Imperials, or we can cut through this room and go into the laser focusing tubes, it's a much more direct route and a lot less guarded, but then we might end up getting caught in an alignment test.

"Speak basic, vod."

"We can run the gauntlet, or bypass it at the risk of getting fried by a high powered death laser."

"Wonderful choice." Lady snarked. "And we can't just blow this alignment laser up from the inside and stop it that way?"

"Contrary to what Scorch would tell you, not every problem can be solved by explosives." Fixer said.

"Egghead"

"Pyromaniac"

"I'll take that as a complement."

Common Room- Xiaolian and Death

Xiaolian slowly walked over to the table, and took a good look. She studied it intently, memorising everything. Once she was finished, she turned to leave. However, her husband had something to say to the Cure. She stopped, giving him a knowing look. "Coming?" She asked him.

"In a moment," Death answered. "I want to talk with the Cure first."

To a being like Death, a Horseman of the Apocalypse, a being like the Cure was inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Everything had an end, and the Horsemen were the ones who would have brought that.

But that had been the old Death. Before he met Xiaolian, and fell in love. Before he had decided to start a family, and not aid his fellow Horsemen. Now, he saw him as someone who had gotten between him and his son. He sensed power coming from it, great power. More than Death currently had. So, he would tread carefully, but make his point all the same.

"How did the likes of you come into being?" He asked.

Bond - Death Star Laser Team

"I've been involved with quite a few people I wouldn't hesitate to call outright and unashamedly evil... but I'm not sure I've ever heard anyone be that forthcoming with it." Bond said, genuinely surprised at Tarkin's message.

"A group of our size would have difficulty getting and out of a maintenance corridor, which could mean the difference between life and death if they activate the laser. But every doorway in the other route is a chokepoint. We can only get so much firepower and so many people through at a time."

"We may have to split into two teams."

Jaune - Death Star Red Team

Alright, so they took up the width of the hall. No way past them. Some sort of spear or lance out. Spears gave range, but were easier to deal with when you were within it's reach. But each man was backing up the ones next to him, helping plug the disadvantage.

If Nora was here, her grenades could break up the formation. Anyone with a gun would help, but there was a good chance those uniforms were armoured.

"We need to break them up!" he called out, pulling his sword it's sheath, and expanding the sheath into a shield. "Anyone got explosives?"

He stepped in front of the rest of the group, shield raised to block any strikes from the lances.
Half the RWBY guys - Genosha Palace

"They say one of their friends is hurt, really badly. And they think Amber is the only one who can help them. I know she's probably busy, but we gotta try, right? Please, Maki?"

Nora gave Maki the puppy-dog look she usually gave Ren whenever she asked for pancakes, hoping it would help the situation.
Rich Girl With Daddy Issues Accused of Drug Addiction - Raira Academy

"Really? You have got to be kidding me!"

So, not only had Myrtenaster been taken; not only had she been dressed up in this awful, combat skirt-lacking uniform; not only had she had to argue for reasonable changes to the plan; they were taking her Dust, and accusing her of being a drug addict at the same time.

"I don't know what planet you come from, space man, but drugs on this planet don't look like glitter!"

Or, at least, she thought. She had no idea what drugs were available here. She didn't even know what drugs were available in Remnant. Despite the activities of some of her father's associates, she'd never been around any, and she wouldn't have wanted to be anyway.
Half-Orphan Hero - Ikebukuro Sniper Nest

"So, if things start exploding, we start shooting? Cool."

Once again, Ruby peered at the ground, judging the distance between her and it, and between her and the school.

"If they really need help, I could go down and help them. I'm not this far away from all the fighting, most of the time."

About two blocks from the river

Sin's words reached Mami's ears, who turned from her position against a corner leading out to a street and quickly motioned the rest of the group to hide just as the roar of a motor preceded the passing of a military vehicle on said street. She waited for the engine to die away before replying: "Perhaps you fought well enough, or your 'old man' did. I do remember The Cure saying that combat and war was what he wanted to see. We could ask him at some point if he knows what specific act spurred this wish."

“Assuming we live long enough to ask him,” Kyoko muttered quietly.

“Sakura-san!” Mami’s admonishment was subdued but swift. Kyoko put her hands up in surrender and dropped the topic, with a facial expression of “Geez, chill out.”

Camp Nishimi

Corporal Tassis was the man from the American forces who oversaw the three junior Witches as they went about maintaining their units - a couple of others formed a perimeter around them loose enough for the Witches to have private conversation if they wanted but close enough so that no one else could approach them without them knowing. “You drink coffee alot, erm…” Tassis’ attempt to strike up conversation hit a pretty important stumbling block as he didn’t immediately recognize what rank Barkhorn held.

Captain Harris and the lieutenant next to him listened to Mio’s report about what happened at Bridge Alpha. Finally, he spoke after taking a moment to digest the details. “Thank you, Commander, for telling us this. At least these magic users were on the same side as us as far as this space invasion went. You said they left before our personnel arrived - I’m guessing they’re being a slippery bunch if they didn’t try to contact us or you. We’ll have to talk with the Japanese before we figure out what we can do to find these guys.” In truth, Harris already suspected that the mystery mages Mio mentioned were in fact the designated heroes of their city, the ones appointed by their acutely all-powerful apparition from what his previous talks with the City Council had yielded about the strange situation they had found themselves in the past three days.

He stopped talking and turned his attention for a moment to a large transport vehicle that had parked some meters behind Mio, his face turning more somber for a moment as the men inside quickly jumped out and hurriedly placed a couple of wounded soldiers onto stretchers before rushing them to the nearby medical station. The scene wouldn’t get any brighter as the wounded were followed out of the truck by filled body bags, one by one.

Harris sighed. “I hope to God they blow that thing out of the sky,” he said a little more quietly.

Shuttle, Hanger 105

“Whoa…” Sayaka needed a couple of moments to get her bearings, and a couple more to take in just what kind of ship the magic portal had brought her. If it weren’t for the urgency of the situation, she’d probably be indulging in her curiosity and marvel at how sleek-looking and cool it was. Well, OK, she was doing some of that anyway. Really, as she looked around she realized there was one thing missing.

Where was everybody?

Wait, did they already leave to go beat the Emperor’s ass? No, she couldn’t have missed the party already, could she? Sayaka made for the first open door she saw out of instinct, which happened to be into the vacated cockpit of the shuttle - to her great fortune, as it turned out, as it was there she was able to see out the windscreen into the hangar which was milling about with so many Stormtroopers she almost immediately ducked behind a seat hoping no one out there saw her. On one hand, that did bring her focus back onto the task at hand - on the other hand, how in the world was she supposed to fight through all those?! If the other Magical Girls had so much trouble with a detachment in Mitakihara…

<Hello, Sayaka Miki!>

“Bwuh!” Sayaka gave a start as her eyes darted around for a moment before she spotted a more familiar figure sitting near the doorway she just went through. “Oh, it’s just you, Kyubey.” She heaved a small sigh of relief. “Where is everybody?”

<Those who were here have gone ahead already. They had pretended to be defectors from the world below in order to get past the Imperial soldiers outside.>

“Defectors? You mean they pretended to be bad guys or something?”

<It was necessary in order for them to get to where they would be able to achieve their objectives of disabling this station’s main weapon and eliminating the leaders of this Empire.>

Sayaka leaned back against the back of the seat she was hiding behind. “So I’m stuck behind here because Transfer Student wouldn’t let me go without talking first.”

<It was Homura Akemi who prevented you from joining earlier?>

“Yeah. I mean, I kinda get why since she’s taking Madoka to that portal to that Room where that big demon guy is for her safety - never thought I’d say that.”

<I see. She really does value Madoka Kaname’s safety, doesn’t she?>

Sayaka peeked out from behind the chair out the windshield again. “Any chance these guys will go away so that I can sneak out?”

<I’d say it’s very unlikely. While they seem to think this shuttle is now empty because of the defection story, the number of soldiers here has remained about the same the whole time.>

Sayaka let out a quiet sigh as she looked back at Kyubey. “So me going out there right now might actually put them in danger.”

<That’s possible, Sayaka Miki.>

“...So now what do I do?”

The Offices of Izaya Orihara—Main Office

"I see." Izaya said, nodding along as the conversation either swirled into an incomprehensible cryptological whirlpool or the Englishwoman started playing another game entirely. Either way, I hold all the cards here. "Quite right. Please hold, and I'll go fetch him~" Pressing the Hold button on the console before any protest could be levied, Izaya brought the phone away from his ear with one hand even as he untangled himself from the phone line with a languid spin of his chair. April would find herself regaled with a "soothing" loop of that one K-pop song, inexplicably remixed into dubstep.

Finding the tune stuck in his head as he stood up heel-first to fall onto his soles, he began bobbing his head absently as he strolled across the room. Sitting down on one of the thick leather cushions of the couch off to the side of the large space, he began searching through the clutter on the accompanying low table, careful not to disturb his game board. While he had had as little time to properly update it as the game developers had to invent sixteen new piece-based strategy games, it was still useful for organizing his thoughts, and was still pressingly relevant in regard to the parties that he'd always known about or recently come into contact with. Even now, he traced the White Knight's path with his eyes, even as he carefully reached over a black Othello piece sitting snug in a corner with one of its bedfellows. He grabbed the phone he'd been using that morning, flipping it open and flicking through to his call history until he landed on the number that had called him earlier that morning.

"Heeeeeeeeey, sexy la-dy~." He would sing, bobbing his way through the rhythmic, nonsensical grunting, up to and after the phone actually picked up. "Heeeeeeey—oh, hello there. I'm looking for a Mister Goro... Kobayashi, was it?" He would ask, leaning back to rest his free arm over top of the couch. Then, with a flick of his eyes toward the paneled ceiling, he would add: "Or, am I speaking with the dog?" Given the broker's tone, it could easily be taken as a joke, but considering what he'd learned about the canine's abilities just that morning, he wanted to see what kind of reaction the seemingly blind man would have.

Hell's Gate Toyko Shuttle

Seeing a situation on the cusp of developing, and being just a touch too on-edge to stand a fight between her own team, Celty attempted to put a hand on Misaki's shoulder. I'm not going to lie to you, it was bad. Her phone screen gently glowed, highlighted by the pitch-black of the window behind it. But what's coming next is worse. There'll probably be time to fix your Chunk's defenses after we make sure there's still a Chunk to defend.

As if on cue, the front speakers crackled to life, and for the second time in an hour Celty nearly dropped her phone, hastily juggling it on gloved palms. She looked to her new business partner regretfully (not that she could tell), distractedly typing out a message with her thumb as her hand waved out splayed fingers aimed at the pilot's seat. Sorry El the message would say, as a thin arm of shadow reached up from under the pilot's seat to slap the arcane ebony equivalent of duct tape over the man's mouth. It doesn't look like we'll have time to go back, now. The party's out of our hands.

Her nonexistant gaze flickered briefly over Damien, Ranma, and Trevor, nodding her ascent to their loose version of events, before alighting on Misaki. Even without a face or a head to bear it, a sentiment seemed to be conveyed, with both nervousness and determination: You're up.

Death Star - Team Tarkin - Shirley

Shirley had been unusually quiet since boarding the shuttle. Partly because she didn’t have much to contribute with (strategy and tactics was something for higher-ups!), but also because the gravity of the situation was starting to get to her. She was okay with having the fate of the world partly on her shoulder, Witches were trained for that. It was the part about killing a lot of people that was weighing her down. Shirley was a trained soldier, and had fought a long time in the service of her country and humanity. But she’d never been trained to kill humans. After the battle over Folkestone, her hands were already red with more blood than she was comfortable thinking about, but even then she had had the luxury of pretending the manned enemy fighter aircraft were Neuroi. Now, she would be face to face with the enemy...and she was worried she would not be able to pull the trigger when the time came.

So, when a suggestion was raised to bypass a lot of fighting through navigating the laser focusing tubes and duty called for speed and agility, Shirley was the first to volunteer.

“Then, everyone else who thinks they’re fast and nimble enough to outrun a laser can come with me!” Shirley announced with a confident smile on her face.

Incoming Shuttle (Departing From Genosha): Agent Vida, Reporting

A woman's voice replied to the Death Star's transmission.

"This is Agent Asori Vicket, arriving from Sector 10. I have one prisoner onboard, a native Genoshan who deserves study. Requesting permission to land—transmitting clearance codes now."

The data from the Genoshan Agent's shuttle checked out perfectly, and the shuttle calmly cruised towards the Death Star, awaiting instruction.

Incoming Shuttle (Departing From HGT): Showtime!

Misaki tried her best to keep a stoic face as she listened to Ranma's casual report of her Kung-Fu rampage. The stoicism cracked at "beat the shit out of some of your cops," and the Chief's eyebrow twitched till the girl finished talking. With Celty's priorities expressed, Misaki spared a moment to step back from the situation. After a few beats of shut eyes and deep breathing, Misaki promised herself to revisit the issue when the world wasn't in mortal peril. That issue, and Belmont's unprecedented "word of advice."

The plan was rough and dangerous now, but at least it was a plan. Then, as if by divine cruelty, the plan was right back in jeopardy again. Just as Misaki began to bolster her confidence, the Empire's message was heard from the cockpit.

The Chief's heart dropped to her stomach—security codes?! Security codes unique to Raan?! They couldn't fake that! Even if they got to the hanger, and even if they managed to stow away the pilot, how were they supposed to confirm that Raan sent them?

They couldn't. Not without some serious evidence, at least. Misaki's mind raced, scrambling to find some detail that could save the ship. The Agent's agenda? No, there wouldn't be a reason to evacuate civilians from Tokyo—not enough time, and definitely not enough interest. What about the kids? The prisoner route could still work, but why should the Empire care if a few children defeated the local forces?

Misaki stared from Ranma to Robin, the solid sternness of her face betrayed by the pity in her eyes. The Empire wouldn't care about two kids...she'd have to turn them into something else.

..."I'm sorry for this."

Those muttered words said, Misaki left the group for the cockpit.

The pilot gestured to the transmitter, then turned the machine on for her.

"This is Misaki Kirihara, an associate of Agent Raan...His Excellency has sent me and my comrades in advance of his shuttle. There was...an incident soon after our surrender—two individuals assaulted the city, wiping out most of the native and occupying forces. We apprehended these rebels, and have them onboard this vessel. Agent Raan wanted them sent to Lord Vader as soon as possible."

Misaki bit down the guilt before adding the life-saving (and possibly ending) detail. It wasn't lying that bothered her, it was the consequences that would come with them. If the Empire believed all this, those poor kids were in for a world of trouble.

"His Excellency called them...Jedi."

Genosha, Palace Foyer: Essentially This

Nora's pleas made Maki blush—he wasn't used to girls asking favors of him, let alone with puppy-dog eyes! Still, his Contractor mind was fixed on the issue: why did they need Amber's help?

"Amber's not a medic." The boy's scowl was only bolstered by his red cheeks. "Who said she could help you?"

"I did." Yin replied, almost immediately.

The two words made Maki pause; were they trying to trick him or something?

"Why are you lying to me?" the Contractor growled, though perhaps to the group's surprise, he was turning the question to Nora. "Dolls can't ask things like that, so who's she covering for? What do you want with Amber?!"

Yin replied in the same quick, quiet tone. "I want her to help M—"

"Stop it!" Maki cried, his voice forcing a few Mutant heads to turn. "You can't want anything, you're a Doll! You're just saying that because somebody ordered you to!"

Again, Maki turned his response to Nora rather than Yin. "You...know that, right Nora? She's not a person anymore—she's closer to a 'thing' than a conscious being."

The boy looked at her with a hint of sad denial, a soft desperation for assurance in his own mismatched puppy-dog eyes.

"Somebody's trying to sneak their way to Amber...it isn't you...is it?"

Jason Todd-Team Tarkin

Jason paused to consider for only a minute when the choice came up.

"The way I see it, this is an assassination job. Our goal is to get to Tarkin as quickly as possible and kill him, right? The easiest way to do that is through the lasers, even if it has some percentage of instantaneous death by laser. The longer we delay fighting troops, the higher the chance that Lord British over there decides to fire the laser and destroy Battleworld early, anyways. At least that's how I see it. If you guys wanna form two different teams and try different approaches or whatever, that's fine too."

Either way Jason wasn't too concerned. He'd already died once before, very, very painfully, so quick death by space laser didn't seem so bad even if he wasn't exactly looking to die at the moment.

Damian Wayne-HGT Shuttle

Damian had to bite back the urge to groan as whoever that was asked for Raan's specific identification. So much for sneaking in properly undercover, even with a prisoner ploy. The policewoman gave him an odd look along with a few of the others and, given the sort of day Damian had been having, he chose to interpret it as 'I'm going to do something that will fill you with incoherent, frustrated rage.

Fortunately, he was proven right. So now they weren't just prisoners, they were extremely dangerous prisoners meant to be taken in to the head of their military structure and tortured. If they all survived this, the policewoman was going to pay! After they saved the world, of course.

For now, he just typed on his little gauntlet communicator as quickly as he could.

''Dear Oracle,

What exactly is a Jedi and how do I impersonate one?

Begrudgingly Yours,

Robin''

The answer he got, projected up from his gauntlet as a large, scrolling wall of text of main points distilled from the wizard's papers and thankfully speed-read, was as fascinating as it was ridiculous.

But Damian was fairly certain about what to do.

Thankfully, it involved maiming people.

Batman-Team Vader

Batman responded to the Imperial Guards advance with almost casual practicality, throwing a short-range, non-lethal strength concussive explosive into the middle of the enemy's attempt at a pike formation and stepping inside the reach of the nearest Guardsman. He tried to make a grab for the weapon with his own armored gauntlet to neutralize it, then tug the guard toward and directly into his elbow while also striking at him with a knee.

Nora, Ren, Blake and Yang - Genosha Palace

Yang stepped forward, her eyes flashing red, but Ren held out his arm to stop her advance. He didn't take his eyes off Nora, and neither did the two girls. This was her friend.

"Maki..." Nora began, her face falling at his outburst.

"Shame on you!"

Eyebrows shot up. Looks of confusion sprouted. Nora looked at the young boy in front of her, disappointed and a little angry.

"You think I'd lie to you? After all we've shared? You think I'd try to trick you? Shame on you, Maki! I thought we were friends, but now you're telling me that you don't trust me at all!"

Nora gestured wildly, pointing towards Yin in a wide sweep.

"You think just because everyone else like her can't want things, that she can't? Maybe she can't, but you said you can't feel love! And despite that, you're trying! You're trying to feel love! Why can't she try to want things?"

"You're being paranoid, and a hypocrite, and mean, and not only are you hurting her feelings, you've hurt mine too. I'm disappointed in you, Maki."

However, she knelt down to his height, and grabbed his hand.

"I know you're just trying to protect Amber. But you can't jump at every shadow, or you'll spend your life jumping. And you can't think that everyone wants to hurt people. There are good people here, even ones you think might not be."
Nora held out her other hand, smallest finger extended.

"I promise you that when I'm around, I'm gonna do my best to make sure no-one hurts her. And that's a pinkie swear, so it's totally binding. Okay?"

The trio behind her stared on in shock, not being used to seeing Nora like this.

"Did she just go all Mom on him?"

"It appears so."

"Who knew she had it in her."

Bond - Laser Team

"If we send people into the maintenance corridor, we shouldn't send more than four." Bond countered. "Otherwise, the team loses speed, and the other team loses firepower. Two things both would need. I don't think all of us going through maintenance would be an option. One way in, one way out, and if we need to escape quickly that exit will jam fast."

"Besides, we're not an assassination team. We're a demolition team. Tarkin can survive if it means destroying that laser. And our allies in the other team have probably started a ruckus by now. It's our job to start our own and keep them from being overwhelmed."
Jaune - Red Team

Someone threw an explosive. Great.

Jaune charged straight towards where the explosive had detonated, shield up to deflect any blow, and sword ready to parry anything that got past the shield. If he could just get behind the Imperial Guards' formation, it'd become useless, and he could press the advantage from there.

Death Star - Alice

The royal guard. Such warrior potential being wasted as hall decoration. Their reward for proving their skill, to be taken from the heat of battle and placed like locks should that key moment arise that their service be needed. She wasn't sure if she pitied or envied them. Like shackled lions. Whether they embraced this role or merely accepted it was not something she could discern, all traces of humanity hid beneath a mask.

Their presence would make escape difficult. It was comforting. All others paths being cleared away until there was only one. There was only ever one path, but to see it with such clarity was a rarity. She walked past them, seeming to pay them no mind as they seemed to pay her none. Beneath the surface warrior instincts of both parties ready to bring weapons to bear at the inclination it was time to spill blood.

In the room beyond Alice took in her surroundings, getting a feel for the arena. For her grave should she prove weak. The dark lord gave her his ultimatum. He was probably aware of the answer. He would not have let her keep her weapon if his intentions was to enforce obedience. Perhaps he wanted the same thing she did, or perhaps he would be disappointed that yet another would fail to appreciate his perceived truths.

She slowly walked around the room in the manner of a tiger stalking its prey. Robotic arms unfolded and the five pink beam katana blades ignited. She let the Dark Lord grasp her answer and draw his own sword before making any attempt to attack. This was a duel between warriors.

The presence of other assassins aboard the moon whispered in the back of her mind. But they had to be stuck working through defenses of the station. There was no rush. They would not be interrupted like last time.

Death Star - Henry

Meanwhile, on the other side of the other door, Henry had ended up following the Vader group as he had wanted. Lady, Bond, Pantsless soldier girl, Storm troopers, the girl with a four leaf clover in her hat, one of those costumed weirdos, that goth girl, there was enough of a team for him to justify leaving them to it while he went off to have fun with the space wizards.

He had caught a glimpse of the Spaniard and red head he fought in the tournament going off somewhere. Straggling behind some he didn't catch the whole bit, but got the gist of it. Whats with these women trying to start fights in the middle of the mission to save the planet. First Lady, now this one. Didn't have the time to deal with it. Let them kill each other for all he cared, he had places to be and emperors to kill.

That lead him here. The hall was narrow, too tight spaced to get a proper fight going. Barely enough room to swing a sword let alone move around. That limited the Royal guards' options as well.

Henry pulled what appeared to be a handle, spinning it into the air before catching it and igniting it with the tip pointed at the guards men in a challenge like gesture. Needless flair. It was a blade of light not unlike the ones seen in the pamphlet about the sith. He held it in place as the surface of the blade seem to electrify and bubble as four orbs of glowing plasma formed and floated out of the blade, each the size of a basket ball.

They hovered for a moment in the space above the group before arcing out and seeking their targets, the four guards currently charging them. They had no where to dodge, and blocking exploding plasma a foot in front of your face usually didn't go so well. Between that and that concussive blast, chances were their charging line was broken if not dead. But you always confirm a kill, never assume.

The pointed eared caped crusader then went and charged the charging line. Then the blonde. They should have enough fire power between the lot of them to turn this into a shooting gallery, or as much as a barrel of fishes is considered a shooting gallery. But they wanted to do things the hard way. Not killing your comrades would prove just as hard in these tight corridors as overcoming your adversary. The arc of the plasma balls should avoid them rather then strike their back, should it not beat him to the punch. He waited to see how the initial attack worked before seeing how to proceed.

Death Star - Ramlethal, Team Tarkin

Living only for your superiors, and offering your own life up for them to commit acts of genocide.

This 'Empire' was striking too close to home for Ramlethal. She prayed to no one in particular that she would never have to be brought down to that level again, being a tool who killed and died for Mother's approval.

"I am capable of flight at high speeds. I will go down the laser systems."

Mitakihara - Sin, With Mami and Kyoko

Being reminded of the nature of this world immediately put Sin at unease. True, this was a world created entirely out of a desire for conflict. And the fact that the perpetrator was likely too powerful to resist rubbed the young Gear the wrong way. Before, he never had any problems beating down bad guys, so when he was at the mercy of one...

"Yeah... honestly, it still bugs me that that's all he wants. And how powerful can he be? At some point, we gotta do something about him, right?"

Kyoko's words struck Sin a little more than he'd thought. What if they do die in this world? Would he ever see his parents, or Illyria again? He would never think of using a wish to drag them into this mess, so he had to be strong. At least the old man, El and Ram were here, he mused.

Shuttle en route from HGT - Elphelt

The ship's communications jumped alive, giving Elphelt a bit of a shock, as the Death Star was coming into view.

Once it became clear that there was no going back (specifically, no going back to pick Sol up), El was certainly a little disheartened.

She'd have to give him a call and tell him to hunker down and keep defending Ironheade, or whatever other chunks needed his assistance.

While the rest dealt with the man on the radio, she summoned her communicator with a flick of the wrist, and got to doing just that.

Genosha

At Maki's paranoid outburst, Asgore felt his usually pleasantly warm blood start to go up a few centigrade. A new friend's life was in the balance, and this boy had decided it was all just a ruse by the enemy, even dismissing and dehumanising the other new friend. It was times like this that reminded Asgore what depths humanity could sink to in their ignorance and hate. Here he was, the head of his people, putting his neck out in a strange land to help a little lost soul he'd barely got the chance to know... Fortunately, Nora lost her temper first, and read the boy the riot act before Asgore could. This allowed Asgore to cool his own head for a moment, and gave him time to find words less harsh. Then, once Nora was done, he stepped forward and loomed over the boy. Maki had just been thoroughly mothered, and now it was time for him to be fathered.

"Now, young man, listen to me," Asgore said. "I don't know how things work where you're from...for all I know, you could be right to view 'dolls' as mindless things with no will of their own. If that's the case, I might have have looked at her six full words as a miracle, and maybe treated her with a little more kindness, but far be it from me to judge your culture. Now, you can believe that Yin has more autonomy than you give her credit for, or you can't. We'll have time for that mystery later on, but allow me to tell you the absolute truth." He pointed to the black furry object in Yin’s arms. "The cat in the arms of that doll has been brutally attacked, and has barely the determination to carry on. She accompanied him to my land, to my home, as they sought protection from the terror and cruelty drifting over our heads as we speak. But that terror found its way even to the Underground, and Mao was one of many that paid the price. It was on my watch that Mao was brutalised by the whims of the Empire. When I saw what had been done to him, I asked Yin who best could help him, and she gave the name and location of his best hope. So here I am, no tricks, no traps, just a burning desire to aid those who trusted me in their time of need."

He straightened himself up, and his speech took on a sterner quality. "I promised these two safety and security. I do not intend to fail them. Now please, kindly let us speak to Amber and prove that we mean no harm to her."

Team Vader

Undyne's interest was snagged by one of the team wondering off to have a rematch. A one-on-one grudge match against a bad guy working under the evil overlord? Undyne's educational films would've devoted at least five minutes to this at the climax for sure. But then came a more pressing threat, in the form of four troopers on guard. Both sides immediately leapt into battle, and Undyne wouldn't have been Undyne if she hadn't joined the fray. "Finally, some action," she said, and a glint of light danced from her hand, becoming four magic spears hovering in the air. "Let's tear this place apart! NGAAAAAAH!" she cried, and the spears whistled through the air to meet their stormtrooper targets. Each spear that struck would feel like trying to dodge ten at once.

Starfire–Vader group––Minipost.

Noticing the imperial guards attacking her group, Starfire's eyes started to glow a bright green color as she began to fly above the others.

"I shall not allow you to harm by friends!" she said.

Both of her hands got covered in bright green energy as she began to shoot green starbolts from her hands, at their enemies, as if she was throwing several small balls, one after the other. Most of them aimed at their weapons.

Her intent to provide covering fire to Undyne would soon be clear by the way she prioritized the targets close to him.

Death, Main Hall to Alchemy Lab, Castlevania

"Ah, that would be the Alchemy Lab." Death replied to Gaige as Dracula and Lisa wandered off deeper into the castle flanked by the Zombie Stormtroopers. "Follow me..."

Amazingly, the Alchemy Lad was fairly close to the Main Hall. While it required Death and Gaige to climb a little and move just off of where Dracula and Lisa were headed, the two entered the Alchemy Lab, soon enough.

While the Alchemy Lab was similar in its Gothic aesthetic to the rest of Dracula's Castle, it was also very obviously a laboratory. There were many alchemical symbols on the walls of the largest room as well as glowing lines in rooms that were offshoots of the main Alchemy Lab that she had to go through to get to the main lab. In addition, there were many beakers and flasks filled with liquids of many different colors. Lastly, there was a giant stone slab in the middle with a pile of utterly destroyed clothes and a bloodied white sheet off to the side of the slab. Carmilla had not cleaned up all that much after her experimentation with Margaret Moonshine's body. However, soon enough Igor had walked into the Lab with a clean white sheet to put over the stone slab.

"Igor, provide Gaige with whatever she needs to make her robotic Persephone." Death bowed to Igor before she left Gaige alone with the Fleaman.

"Madame Gaige, what is it you need me to provide?" Igor asked of the Mechromancer.

Sypha, Death Star Vader Team

"...Blue Splash." Sypha frowned as she looked at the four Imperial Guards before standing beside Undyne, holding out her staff, and then firing sharp icicles at the poor Imperial Guards. She made sure to try to avoid hitting either Jaune or Batman. After all, both Trevor and Grant were more the type to charge forward like these two did.

Ikebukuro Raira Academy—Lobby

Vorona's breath ticked out of her as slow, solid, and vaguely disappointed as the cooling sigh of an over-revved engine, the helmet muffling both the sound and its undertones of mile-a-minute contemplation. This development was, perhaps to be expected; amidst the myriad tomes of literature on the doctrines of military policy and prisoner transport, perhaps the only constant was that no plan survived contact with the enemy.

Taking a solid step to the left and rearing her hand back, conscious that a direct hit might break her hand, Vorona made to backhand the tiara clean off of the heiress's head. "Quiet, addict." She would say, as the silver headwear clattered to the ground. "You have brought this on yourself." Turning back to the guard, she would slip her hand into a pocket of the armor, and then bring it up, slipping the hastily-palmed key up between her middle and index fingers in the process. "Of course." She parroted to the Trooper, even as she brought the rapier back to slide in place on back of her armor.

As if in apology—"as if" because Weiss would probably know by now that there was almost no way it was—just as the hilt disappeared past her shoulder, Vorona would swiftly crack open and then subsequently shut the weapon's hilt at the exact moment she handed the key over, ejecting one of the Dust vials like a bullet casing in Weiss's general vicinity, counting on the confiscation of the rest of the Dust and her own body being in the way to keep the vial from being seen by the Troopers.

Ikebukuro Sniper Nest

Sloan glanced down for a shallow second, as if doing the math to gauge what it would take to jump from there to the ground to the door. "...is something to be getting used to, I am guessing." Sloan said, his tone still tight and controlled in favor of the shot. "We will see."

Death Star: Tarkin Team

The map that Fixer carried showed an enormous array of paths, rooms, hangars and corridors. And yet, this huge map was not even covering one quarter portion of the battlestation. A quick eye-scan of the map quickly found the most direct path to Tarkin though - first venturing into the Engineering room, where there was a direct access point to the superlaser array tube. The room was right in front of them now, the door closed. After leaving the Engineering room, they would travel along a corridor to a Command Hangar, where special agents and officers disembarked, or high-valuable prisoners were held. Then, after crossing a section of narrow bridges, they would find themselves in the ISB Directorate Chambers, likely a focal point of resistance. Past that was a corridor running along a sheer ledge, and then the Death Star Command Centre, where Tarkin could be found.

The alignment tube, once accessed via the Engineering room, would cut a clear path right to a large focusing array where the beam originated. From the array, there was a maintenance access point to the corridor right before the Command Centre. It would mean circumventing the fiercest resistance, but it wouldn't be long before the Empire figured out there were enemies below them and took necessary action. Running along the tube were thick kyber focusing lenses, blocking the way, and there were a few emergency little compartments on the sides of the tube, every fifty metres or so, where the beam could be escaped should it fire.

Imperial Shuttle: Tarkin Team 2

The comm link went dead quiet for a moment, and there was a muffled noise of the mic being passed to a superior officer.

"Attention shuttlecraft, approach Command Hangar 14 with all haste. Keep the suspected Jedi contained, restrained and sedated if at all possible. Keep your cockpit sealed to prevent them from attempting to commandeer your ship. And inform Agent Raan that his flaunting of established communication protocol will be noted to his superiors in good time."

There were a few murmurs of orders spoken quietly to an underling, then the comm link flared up again.

"We will take every possible precaution from here on out, and are diverting forces to the hangar to take these so-called Jedi into custody. Pretenders or not, they will face sever penalties."

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

The Cure-Common Room

The Cure chuckled a bit at the highly direct question. "Wouldn't you like to know? Ah, there is a story, yes, but not one I am prepared to divulge at this moment. My origins are the least of your concerns at this time."

Lady/Delta-Tarkin Group

Lady crossed her arms as the various people made their announcements, looking more and more annoyed.

"So you all want to split up, but none of you are willing to bite the bullet and take the hard route? I'm good, sure, but I can't take on an army alone!"

"You won't be alone. Delta Squad has your back." Boss announced. "Fixer, you go with the laser group, you have a better idea of this technology and how it works then anyone else here, your skills may come in handy. Scorch, you're with me and Lady here. And I expect some backup. We don't have time to argue about this. Don't make me start conscripting people who can handle it to fight with us."

Imperial Guard-Death Star

Batman was the first to strike, with his non-lethal explosives. The man most directly hit made a valiant effort to stay on his feet, but the force was too much and he fell on his back. The man next to him staggered, but stayed up. He would be the one assaulted by Batman. However, he would prove more resilient then your average thug, and retained enough awareness to defend himself, trained as he was in various advanced hand to hand combat disciplines, a requirement for any Imperial Guard. While Batman would be able to grab the weapon, his attempt to elbow the man would not be as successful, as he would sidestep the elbow, and then counter the knee strike by jerking his body backward while raising his own knee to intercept it. Then he would make his own attack, and attempt to use the weapon as a sort of ram to slam batman into the hard metal wall of the hallway and make him let go of the weapon.

The second man rose up and turned his attention to the ranged attackers, but before he could move Starfire's energy blasts assaulted him and he was forced to defend. His pike began to smoke, although for the moment it appeared functional still. However Starfire would soon have other issues, as three of the guardmen in the back took advantage of her elevated position, pulled out concealed blaster rifles, and begin to fire at Starfire with accuracy much higher then the Stormtroopers most had faced so far.

The third man in the formation would take a step forward to engage the shield bearer, attempting to hold his attention. While he would likely be unable to pierce the shield, Jaune would be hard pressed to move to other targets without risking getting hit by the man.

This left the forth man, who attempted to move into the firing arcs of Sypha's ice and Undyne's spears, where he would begin spinning his spear in front of him at rapid speed to try to deflect the attacks and shield his otherwise engaged guardmen. That said, it was not a perfect defense and it was clear a couple of hits got through as an icicle embedded itself in his leg and a spear hit him in the thigh.

With the hallway as crowded and hectic as it was, Henry's energy balls would be unable to find a safe location to explode in without risking injury to one or more of his allies.

Darth Vader-Death Star

Vader silently drew his own lightsaber and ignited it, before he raised an open hand to the ceiling. This would only last for a split second, before he closed the fist and roughly yanked downward, sending a piece of the metal city like structure downward directly at Alice. Regardless of how she responded, he would follow this up by throwing his lightsaber at her, and then leaping forward to clear the distance between them, catching his saber as it returned to him or redirecting it back to his hand if needed, he would come down with a mighty two handed swing with the clear intend of piercing her (presumably) weakened defenses and ending the fight in a single, decisive blow

Ikebukuro Raira Academy Lobby

The man who had searched Wiess reached down to grab the headband, making no move to place it back on the head.

"Yes, thank you." The man in charge of the lobby said. He turned to hand the key to Weiss's guard. "Give him the weapon. 405, deposit the contraband in lockup on your way to the nearest designated holding room."

"Yes, sir!" Giving a salute, he would reach out for the weapon to take it (assuming she handed it over), then would lead Weiss away.

Ikebukuro Raira Academy Classroom

Weiss would be led down a nearby hallway, stopping at what seemed to be a storage closet, hastily repurposed into "lockup". Wiess would get a peek inside as he dropped the dust, blade, and headband into the room next to a bunch of more or less random looking assortment of items. He would then lead her on to a classroom with another guard inside.

"405. Another prisoner?"

"Yes, careful with this one, she tried to assault another trooper with a blade, and then we found Spice on her."

"Thanks for the heads up, I'll take care of it." The escort handed the key to the guard before he opened the door to the classroom and motioned for Weiss to enter. If she did so, he would slam the door behind her.

Ikebukuro Raira Academy Principle's Office

Meanwhile, Vorona would be led to the former principle's office, guarded by two stormtroopers. Having been called before she arrived, they stepped aside to open the door. One flanked her as she entered and remained in the room as the door shut, staying at her rear as the man sitting at the desk with datapads scattered across it looked up.

"Ah, good, there you are. Identify yourself, trooper."
