How about "it's Black Clover"? :P
So the author chose to throw one of the few genuinely dramatic moments of the series out the window. Way to go.
Though I guess Julius being deaged and probably depowered mitigates that a bit.

His grimoire is down to a single page. He's definitely been massively depowered.
Well its definitely a cop-out but at least it has some justifications and still there's no reason for them not to elect a new Magic King at least hopefully.
Lets hope it doesn't get worse from here.

Also, Nero mocks Asta.
That's a thing.
I'm cheering for those foreign lands!
So as expected, the author's starting to introduce the other countries in more detail.
And the house of Kira will judge evil. Hah! Is Asta gonna be in an Allen Walker situation?
Yes. Kill him. Kill him forever.
Five seconds of being here and scaepgoating a known terrorist group but I already like these Anti-Monarch Nobles.
Fuck the Monarchy!

Don't know how Mangastream screwed up and translated Clover as Kira.
Edit:Nevermind just saw that Kira is his middle name.

The way the other Kingdoms are described, it's sobering to realize that Clover, a classist kingdom literally built on genocide, might not be the worst of the lot.

Heart doesnt sound bad thankfully.
Eh, Heart is an isolationist kingdom shrouded in secrecy.
In mangaland, that's always code for "horrifying shit".
Diamond are militants whose ghastly work we've already seen.
And Spade seem to be outright demon worshipers. They're also the largest of the kingdoms and looking to expand.

Other times its just Hidden Elf Village type situations than horrifying.
I’m glad we finally have a noble family with something to them beyond just being “a noble family”.
Seriously we got like several noble families here & we know jack shit about any of them. Even for the Silva’s & Vermillion’s, we got no Creed, no logo, no bannermen, no lands, even exploits or achievements.
Just basic-ass stuff like appearances, magic type, & that one’s jerky, & that the others nicer. It’s like an extremly paper-thin theme park version of a medival fantasy.

Can I just say it's really funny to me that Mimosa is the only one that got Clothing Damage despite doing very little fighting.
Subtlety really isn't Black Clover's strong suit.
Heheh you say that like this series ever had subtlety at all.
Okay the momentum has officially been drained.
Kira is a Grade A wank stain and I hope Asta decapitates him. Holy fuck.
Ah god so much SMUG NOBLES.
Anti-Monarchy Nobles were right. Kill the monarchy!
What's sad is that the jackass is kinda sorta right that this entire mess the complete fault of the Magic Knights.
Vengeance the most esteemed captain there is allowed the worst act of terrorism in the entire Clover Kingdom just cause he was buddies with Elf Bin Ladden.
Fuck that jackass should be on trail here.
Not just him. Julius suspected and did nothing.
Yami still suspected but did nothing.
Purple Orcas former captain worked with them.
No.2 of Golden Dawn was a spy before it. Unwittingly one but still.
No matter how you spin it there was enough they could have taken much better precautions but didn't.

Yeah. Demons or not, the Knights are pretty damned corrupt. Even the ones who are good and weren't possessed, as pointed out by still didn't do nearly enough to prevent what happened.
And yeah, that guy is pretty over the top, though he seems to be saying that Asta has to take the fall or the rest of the Knights, including the non corrupt ones will fall with them.
