There most likely is more to the story, but does the Elf possessing Luck really have a reason to think that there is, is the question.
Actually yeah there's also that.
The elves have no reason to believe the genocide on them was a conspiracy so they are completely in the right to be pissed off against the humans & flip off any notions of peace.

Unless its Patry's preconceived notion that it was the first magic emperor that did the did that's twisting them. When in reality maybe he defended them, Patry didn't see it, and thus assumes it was the FME the did it.
Or something like that.
Patry already had prejudices against humans, she had set them aside for Licht's sake, but they came out after reincarnation (for the worse, but probably the demonic magic that made her mind unstable has to do with it).
Of the Third Eye, Fana was completely potted, Vero as well, Liar seemed the most reasonable, but the others are now completely gone, it is understood when what he owned the type of the sandstone spoke of "urgent needs".
The same stuff always being spewed does make it hard to get invested n anything elf related. It's why the Luck fight is so boring Along with the fire guy being uinteresting. Witch girl with her cat was fine though.
So How popular is black clover among the younger anime community?
Gauche apparently didn't attack the others, and is implied to be fighting against the elf who possessed him.
Or Elf him is just as much of a Siscon and was too busy screeching for his sister to deal with humans.
You know what, we don't know a thing about elf Gauche and he is probably another one-dimensional genocider, but I already like him better then human Gauche.
Funny that turning him into a genocidal Elf could only be an improvement.

It's really something how the Black Bulls are this quirky bunch of lovable misfits with hearts of gold who truly love one another as a family and manage to be endearing despite and indeed because of their weird flaws...
....then you always have to add the disclaimer "EXCEPT GAUCHE" because the guy is just a fucking creep and it's really weird nobody really seems to mind he tried to literally murder his teammate just because his sister liked playing with him.

I forgot how terrible Gauche was. Why the fuck is he popular?
…Okay, that was a funny chapter. But yeah, if they could "accidentally" fail to save Gosh, I wouldn't really mind…
Annoyingly enough I met one of Gauche’s fans & that guy has the gall to claim that the anime ruined him by apparently adding in incestual & pedophilic scenes that were never in the manga essentially saying he was never an incest pedophile creep.
Seriously the guy’s magic isn’t even that cool nor are his looks & especially not his personality.
I’m in agreement as to how the Hell can that disgusting bastard can have any fans?

The anime added in more that bullshit? Oh God...
Gauche has like no character apart from being a creep!
No he does. He is also an asshole.
Like I have not read the Yami vs Licht arc in over a year but did Viz change anything about Gauche’s dialogue to make him relatively sound like less of a disgusting pervert?
Cause when I was arguing with th Gauche fan he brought up his owned manga volumes & he said he found nothing pertaining to Gauche’s narration about his sister giving him a “special feeling down there” (e.i. a boner) at the start of thet arc. Like my memory may be shit but I know he said something really disgusting there.

I'm not sure if Viz sanitized it or if fan scans made it worse, but there's no real covering up some of the bad implications in the original manga. The imagery alone is bad enough
The translation I read had him saying something like "Just thinking about spending time with you makes me feel things I shouldn't" or something like that. Either way, the sexual overtones are pretty obvious, what with the nosebleeds and stuff.
Edited by LSBK on Jul 7th 2018 at 2:07:07 PM
Sometimes people just don't notice that kind of stuff.
Also, maybe I'm just pulling this from nowhere, but wasn't there something about him being excited about picking out underwear for her or something?
I'm honestly not sure if that was from this, of if I'm confusing it with something else.
Edited by LSBK on Jul 7th 2018 at 2:13:11 PM
That or their denying it whether intentionally or not.
I mean even then its a hard thing not to notice especially with how anime nosebleeds are a recognized symbol for sexual arousal meaning the fact Gauche has such nosebleeds every time he talks or thinks about her is concrete proof he lusts after her.
Oh well nice to know the other guy is full of shit. I should have expected such bullshit from someone who considers Gauche his favorite character (& who also likes Nozel) for whatever ungodly reason.
I think he may have mentioned doing her laundry. Even if he didn't its 100% in-character for him really.

He probably never made the connection between nosebleeds = sexual arousal either. There are some pretty oblivious people out there and/or he hasn't been blessed with our kind of rotten wisdom.
What a weird thing to be unaware of, ya think it be common knowledge at this point.
Hell its even a thing in Western media. Nickelodeon cartoon The Loud House has a character who gushes fountains of blood from his nose every time he sees the girl he's crushing on.
