I don't know whether this should be long-term or short-term, but it's definitely a problem worth having a project. It seems like people are using one of HoYay's alternate names, Les Yay, as a different trope. Now, this isn't a small problem that can be solved with a slight wick check from one person, because this problem persists on at least 4100 pages. Now, I was able to turn a couple of LYs into HYs, but I definitely won't be able to do this to 4100 different pages alone. The main problem seems to be that people don't know the word "homosexual" (The word that the "ho" in Ho Yay comes from) is a gender neutral term to reference both gays and lesbians. People seem to think Homosexual just refers to men. Either that, or people just give female-on-female Ho Yay a special trope because Girl-on-Girl is Hot. Basic summary for all of you fellow TLDR people out there: People think Les Yay is different from Ho Yay. It's not. Please change any Les Yay examples into Ho Yay examples.

This is a really pointless change, I must say. The division between Les and Ho is fairly clear cut.

Pointless, maybe, but if the distinction is literally only the gender of the characters involved, that does seem like a pretty unnecessary distinction.

The Les Yay examples should not be removed. When there are tropes with an opposite gender redirect it is preferred that the examples use the proper gender of the trope to match the examples.
