For sure. For allies, it'll be less like a hostile takeover and more like a friendly injection of drill-generating goodness.
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~Gonna have some trouble against Amuro and his Psycframe Nu Gundam. It's not just for show.
I kind of like the size disparity. Kamina starts going off on one of his tangents, but because he only comes up to Unit 08's ankle, it ends up sounding like hot-blooded hamster squeaks.
I kind of want to join with a jaeger, but I don't want to shrink them down to meet the 50 meter cap. If only by virtue of the fact that jaegers don't really get any super robot abilities despite being super robot sized...
Alternatively, I might make an Armored Core 3 or Armored Core 2 Raven. (I have yet to get my hands on AC 4 or AC 5 due to not having any consoles more advanced then a Nintendo Wii. I am behind the times)
Alternatively Alternatively, G GUNDAM! THIS HAND OF MINE GLOWS WITH AN AWESOME POWER! TAKE THIS! MY LOVE MY ANGER AND ALL OF MY SORROW! SHINING FINGER!
On a related note, I really need to go on a giant robot binge at some point. I really don't have enough knowledge about them in general. (My reference pools are too tiny, I must fix this!)

Click Click Boom Boom- Name: Nu Gundam
and Amuro Ray
- Work of Origin: Mobile Suit Gundam, Char's Counterattack
- Appearance: Standing at a head height of 23 meters, It's not just for show!
and his pilot the most powerful Newtype
- Powers, Weapons and Abilities:
- Nu-Gundam: Psycoframe, 60mm Head Vulcans, Beam Rifle with Grenade Launcher, Beam Sabers, 6 Fin Funnels, 280mm Bazooka mounted to Backpack, and Shield
- Amuro: Newtype abilities, Ace Pilot.
- Personality: Amuro was best described as a bit of a unpleasant fellow when he was 15 during the one year war. However time has changed him into a man of composure. He doesn't believe in being a superior breed, but rather someone who believes that he should do the right thing because no one else will.
- Backstory: Amuro served as the pilot for the famous RGX-78 Mobile Suit AKA the Gundam during the one year war. He was a hotheaded uneasy pilot that didn't get along with others, but time he grew and changed, becoming the "White Devil" that scared Zeon so much. Most recently Amuro had to fight off his longtime rival Char Aznable and face him in a final duel, only to be faced with the loss of his life with the stopping of the Asteroid Axis. Now Amuro has no clue where he is, but wishes to discover why.
Any issues?

Not entirely unjustified as it took a giant space rock filled with nukes to kill him.
And I was thinking of bringing in some other Gundam Pilots, at the very least Kira from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and Shiro from 08th MS Team in the EZ 8 as support units.
Unlikely but Amuro here will do just fine.
- Name: Mari Makinami and Evangelion Unit-08
- Work of Origin: Rebuild Of Evangelion
- Appearance: The girl
◊, the robot
◊. ~50 meters? It's a little hard to find a solid number.
- Powers, Weapons and Abilities: Besides the general strength and durability that comes with its size and armour:
- AT field: Unit 08 can generate a powerful forcefield that can reduce or negate a lot of damage.
- Weaponry: A sniper rifle, pistol and a progressive knife, all scaled for use by Evas.
- Personality: Mari generally maintains a playful, friendly attitude, even while while piloting, exchanging banter, taunts or encouragement with allies, enemies and her Eva alike. Fighting giant monsters is fun, after all. Maybe a little too much fun - while she usually plays the role of back-line sniper, when she does engage in hand-to-hand combat her fighting style tends to devolve into something more reckless, and not even gruesome damage seems to put a dent in her enjoyment.
- Backstory:
- A british-japanese girl, Mari was originally one of many potential Evangelion pilot candidates. To her disappointment, it looked like she would never get a chance to fight, until she was swept up as a pawn in a game of interdepartmental espionage between factions of the vast and confusing conspiracy that controlled the fight against the Angels. In her first sortie she destroyed the escaping 3rd Angel in a scrap-heap spare Evangelion, and soon after she was secretly sent into Tokyo-3, the center of the angel-human war. She didn't particularly care what part she played in the machinations of the people behind the scenes - she got to pilot an Eva, so she was happy.
- After trying (and failing) to hold off the 10th Angel, she was once again swept up in events beyond her control. This time, it was Near-Third and Third Impact - the near-end of the world, an upheaval that saw huge swathes of humanity wiped out, apparently at the hands of NERV, the organisation she used to work for. Eventually, she found herself falling in the splinter group Wille, fighting to destroy NERV and its mass-produced Evas and prevent the beginning of a Fourth extinction event.

Name: Gurren Lagann
Work of Origin: Gurren Lagann
Appearance: Don’t believe in yourself.
Believe in the me
who believes in you
15~ Meters
Powers, Weapons and Abilities: Gurren Lagann is created by the unity of two disparate mechs, appropriately titled Gurren and Lagann. Gurren has no special powers beyond the strength associated with a robot of its size, in addition to a sword strapped to its front shaped like a snazzy pair of sunglasses.
Lagann is a much smaller mech activated by a drill-shaped key wrapped around Simon’s neck. It runs on a nebulous and extremely powerful energy source known as “Spiral Power” generated by human determination and fighting spirit. In addition to the ability to create a variety of drill constructs, Lagann can attach to other mechs as their “head” and take over their systems, greatly increasing the host mech’s physical abilities, and allowing the second mech’s pilot to pool their Spiral Energy.
Gurren Lagann is the end result of Lagann combining with Gurren. Gurren Lagann is protected by an invisible force field that makes it capable of taking more damage than its build or construction would suggest. In addition, when it is damaged, the parts can be temporarily mended by a higher-than-normal expenditure of will on the parts of the pilots. However, when Lagann detaches, all of the damage is reinstated, and must be fixed normally. Gurren Lagann’s primary ability is to generate drills of a variety of shapes, styles, and usages, limited only by the imagination of the pilots and their surplus of mental fortitude.
Personality: Gurren Lagann is kept in equilibrium by the competing yet symbiotic piloting styles of Simon
◊, the timid but rational digger who operates Lagann, and Kamina
◊, who approaches every situation with the guts and bravado that he approaches every other area of his life. The pilots themselves are best friends and self-proclaimed “blood brothers”, and Kamina does everything he can to make Simon believe in himself.
Backstory: Raised in an underground village, Simon and Kamina were told all of their lives that the surface was nothing but a myth. But when a giant robot broke through the ceiling of their village, the pair used a freshly-discovered Lagann to defeat the robot and join a group of freedom fighters looking to overthrow the regime conspiring to keep humanity constrained to underground villages. Eventually discovering the secret to creating Gurren Lagann, they blazed a path of rebellion and burning spirit across the countryside until they somehow ended up in a glamorous island metropolis…
Here he is. To be honest, I never noticed how tiny Gurren Lagann is compared to other series. I predict some spirited fast-ball specials in the future.
