Keats surprised the sniper, putting the taser to the side of his head and unloading a charge, but things got a little out of control and the sniper released a shot before going down, bringing all attention nearby.
"All units check on sector 3 of Looking Glass Gardens." "Apollo-Blue, Apollo-Blue, respond! We have a report of shots fired, what is your status" a pager buzzed into the P Ks belt.
[There...probably is. Janitor has not cleaned there in a while, and our little friends are all over this City, getting bigger and bigger...pass here someday and I'll introduce you to some that I've made pets. I call them Callaghan couple.]
The sunlight hit her eye as strong as ever, throwing some welcomed heat in her skin. A breeze hit her face and her hair starter flying wild against the wind. The air is so much better outside these ventilation sections, even more to a Green like Lena.
She rides down the zipline and leap to a set of boxes that cushion her fall, then proceeds to the next area with yellow walls. Drake directed her to a red crane, saying it stays just above the Runner training grounds.
Off in the distance, in the shiny skycrapers horizon, another sniper shot could be heard.

Sunlight! Lovely, lovely sunlight! And the wind, the air-! Its clean!
With ease, and still high off the fresh air, she slid down easily as mentioned, and proceeded to the Red Crane, a bit curious. Its a bit different from her sort of training place.
всегда веренAs Lena proceeded to the training grounds, she remembered her Green training.
But the place wasn't exactly what she hoped for. Here and there there were boards stacked between buildings to help climbing, jumping and wallrunning in between the four or so rooftops. Some AC units could be seen here and there, and outdoors could be seen everywhere, including next to the Crane she was directed to. In fact, the easiest way in was by jumping into a payload another crane nearby was holding and from there to this crane in the middle of the training grounds, then sliding down the cable to the other payload.
[Okay Lena, you made it good. Hopefully these P Ks won't pick your trail so soon, but keep your eyes peeled. Our contact...well, you will know when you see him. Gotta go check on Keats, he seems to be handling some major heat that is the reason you fled so easily. Hit me up if you need anything.]
The Centipede found another taser in the sniper body, this one with two charges. Drake got into the piece into his ear.
[Hey Keaton, I dunno what the hell you doing' but it's working for helping my runners avoid P Ks, so...thanks. I can see you in a eye((camera)) nearby. There's some shotgunners coming. They seem to plan to surround you...one on each side. Oh, and there's another taser coming from a store above you, trough the roof of the part the elevator Gabriel took is in. Good luck, man.]

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Once on the roofs, it seemed Lena had some time to lean against a wall and think and wonder about how training should be done in that place, while reminding herself of her first few trainings as a Purple and hanging out with her friends on the undergrounds and urban exploration of abandoned places, there were plenty in a city with so many buildings. Like the old buildings in the dock
, the underground train station
and abandoned bus depot
Suddenly, she was caught out of her wondering when she saw it. She barely caught his shape as he got past and over her. She could discern vaguely the figure clad in yellow, with black pants and his neon blue shoes.
It wasn't before she could see it was a blond short-haired guy, as he started running again, that she realised he had just performed an wallrun over her.
But running didn't look appropriate to describe how he moved. Neither was sprinting, nor dashing. He seemed too fast for that. Before Lena could get her bearings and decide what to do next, he was already over a wall and in the air crossing a gap.

{...!}
She lets out an undignified yelp, ducking behind an errant bench. Then she peeked over the wall, at the blur moving past her.
{...! That's the guy!}
Recovering her confidence (and hopefully dignity) from the earlier surprise, she took off after him, taking a bit slower pace over the wall.
всегда веренLena used the wall to get over a fence, and climbed the one this Yellow guy just climbed moments ago, and as she found the path more difficult than he made it look, having to climb on some vents and a bunch of boxes to get to where she wanted, she observed him jump a gap that seemed great to her by hitting the last step exactly in the ledge and then jumping - he was so fast he barely had to flex his legs to get over the other end, crossing the barbed wire. No way she could do that without coiling herself in the air.
He then turned his head to the side, without stopping, and Lena wasn't sure but thought he was looking back to her. Before she even got to the section where he jumped the barbed wire gap, he was already taking a three-store leap that required a landing roll, striding wildly in the air.

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos. As she was about to jump, Lena sees the guy get out of a landing roll with the position of his feet in a way that he got out of it with one of the lowest momentum losses she had seen. She crossed the air, seeing him spring jumping at some piled cushions or something, and get to the higher steps of a catwalk in front of him. Then she lost sight of him as she rolled as well.
As she got to her feet, she looked up, and saw that he was already in the roof, looking down to her. He seemed to scratch the back of his neck and sigh as she jumped to the stair lower than he did, at least that was what she thought to see while grabbing the ladder.
As she climbed the catwalk, he was running up the ramp of the roof, and turned a corner, disappearing from view.
As she got to the roof and climbed the part of it that was a ramp, no sign of life could be seen. There was, however, what seemed like an old school runner bag leaning against an AC tower...

Out here, there is only Chaos. She sees a figure approaching her upwards in the air, but wasn't either quick or strong enough to resist his grapple. Before she knew it, she was leaning against the tower with her face on it and suffering a armlock behind her. Then the world spinned as she rolled and landed on her back. The blonde guy kneeled besides her, looking down at her with his deep brown eyes, a hand resting on the knee.
"Hu-huh, now don't try anything funny." He held up her waist bag opened in his other hand as she tried to get up at once. Holding the pin on one of the grenades, risking to blow up all of them at once, and starts shaking his head. "Never met a green who couldn't defend himself so much. 'The hell are you and what the f*ck you want with me?"

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Keats smiled, picking up the limp Sniper into a fireman's hold and circling around, attempting to charge the shotgunner and throw his friend into him, following with a taser to the face.
If that worked out, he quickly turned. "Which way is the shotgunner coming from?" When he was told, Keats would attempt to sprint around to behind the shotgunner, grab them by the face cage and repeatedly slam their head into the ac unit.
Good to be backHe frowns his face.
"Oh. Goddamn it, did Drake sent you?? Apparently saying I never wanted to hear from him again wasn't enough? Motherf*cker. And even sends a green to do it. Listen here, Drake, you know I don't get involved with this extra official business anymore. You know who did? Pope. And now he's dead. No, I'm done with this shit." He starts getting up and pacing around her.
[Hey Lena, uh..put this on speaker mode. Gotta talk to this guy.]
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Pure silence as the channel seems to go off.
She gets a message in her PDA.
''Sorry kiddo, things are very tough w Keats, gotta track him first. The guy name's Will. Is gonna say he owns nothing to me and this city - remember him he owns Faith and Merc. >Drake.''
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Meanwhile, Keaton was throwing a dazed sniper into a confused shotgunner, who was fast enough to dodge his friend, but not the taser shot right inside the face cage, and fell to his side trying to grasp the wall - Keats wasn't sure the guy would go down with a shot on any other part of his body by the fight he pulled to stay conscious, but he eventually fell with a help of a low kick to the throat. One shotgunner left, and both tasers had to be recharged now.
The other shotgunner tried to circle the Centipede as well - which made them meet with little distance, face to face. But Keat wouldn't be either a PK or a Runner if he wasn't ready for it. The enemy knew he would suffer a disarm attempt and tried to shot at a range almost closer to a point blank shot, what made his posture clumsy as Keats made a step on the AC, going up, and hit the other knee on the lower part of the shotgun exactly as it released a shot. The enemy seemed confused as his weapon flew away, just time enough to Keaton to give him a spinning kick to his ribs, more to exploit his lack of balance than to damage since they were well protected, and grabbed the face cage hitting it in the AC unit, once, twice, three times - he'd probably would have done more damage had he not heard footsteps approaching on one store behind him.
One thing he never learned in Icarus was how to run silently.
He was holding a PK by his hand, and his shotgun he held was at a jumping distance, barrel still smoking.
Will was shouting wildly at that point.
"Well, I don't even want to know what the hell this guy thinks I own him, or this city, but its not worth that much. So if he's 'begging to differ', tell him I beg him to go fu-"
Lena shows him her PDA. He reads it with his red face getting slowly back to normal. Silence.
Will's expressions smoothes. He seems a but inexpressive or awkward...as best as Lena can tell, he is using his pokerface unintentionally.
He puts his fingers on the bridges of his nose, sighing. He opens his mouth and says nothing at first, breathes and says in a calmer, almost regretful voice:
"Damn it...that's why I hate this guy. He always gets the best of me. F*ck it - let's do it." As he speaks more clearly, you notice he have an accent that you can't quite place, but it seems oddly familiar...
"Probably have to do with Leaf going dark. He wants me because I'm one of the only ones who can track runners while on the field. My 'official' name's Gwillem Mendonça, by the way." He extends his arms and gives back your bag with some meaningful look of respect. You get it - you should not trust anyone in this City anymore if you're clever, and the guy's anger was not directed to you, but to Drake. But right now, he seems...actually almost happy to work with you.
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos. Will gives a half smile, noding back. His eyes seemed a lot kinder.
"Well, me too. And you might have to not look too far ahead- there's a friend of mine missing and I might have been here awhile looking for some runner to help me on this task. Let's just get going. With Project Icarus going on, this location is more than compromised."
With that, he started jogging away from the place while expecting you to do the same, by the way he looked to you.

I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos."Okay Lena, we're off to Lower East Side - gonna cross a major part of town, but that should be easier to you than me. My last Intel on Lena, sorry, I meant Leaf, says she was near the Old Runner Training Grounds - was trying to lose some heat on there, place's a wreck, everything falling apart...perfect for a former Red like her to take several guys out using the enviroment...she can handle herself, problem is how long. That's why we're coming, and doing it like a Yellow. Now we head for the docks, some Purples hacked into the Shipping files on it, and we will have a window to take a shortcut. You'll see it. Now we head for the Harbour. Link your piece to mine."
With that, he started running a little faster, but less than before: he was trying to keep Lena near and conserve some energy for crossing about half of the City.
Wherever Gabriel was, his PDA ringed.
Gabe. WTF u at? Can u at least check on blue chatter on the wires to help Keats survival?\\ >Drake

With that, she climbed as instructed. Two vents, crawling some more. And she noted that they could really use to clean place from time to time. Smelt like a dead rat here.
[Will do. And-] -Sniff- [Is there a dead rat inside here?]
Seeing the zipline, she readied herself, climbed aboard, and slid down.
