Fine fine I admit its not a bad thing to show compassion, its just for some reason I possess an irrational hatred towards him right now that can't be explained. I dotn know its just i'll take any bullet I find & just fire it for some reason. Weird cause I used to like the show a couple months ago & my opinions done a complete flip-flop. Still the context is in a "Video-Game" & where talking bout npcs who can easily be re-spawned making it unnecessary.
I still stand by the fact that the 2 wont get along at least. Prolly need a mediator.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."![]()
It's still hypocritical to go out of his way to spare the enemies that look human while killing those that don't.
Doubly so if turns out the human-looking are NP Cs and goblin-turned are actual humans.

Eh, self-consistency takes work and can be psychiatrically damaging. Better to follow your instincts.
In short, Double Standards are natural. Do what's natural. And pass me the next banana already, before I start flinging poo at you.

The brainwashed 'players' sort of. When he killed them the 'game' was a testing ground for creating A.I.s set up by the government and run by the guy who had him investigate the Death Gun rumors, he put Kirito in it to keep him alive after Death Gun's escaped partner nearly killed him. It's set up as a simulation of a 'real' world so everyone but him will eventually die from 'old age'.
He only killed their leader after he nearly killed one of the people with him, and one who thought he could get himself declared their new leader by killing him. The rest he yelled at to run away after he killed them.
Yeah I mean hell we never even seen any of the actual guild members besides Ainz' & the Guardians reminiscing as well as those 2 anime only scenes but they all sound like an amazingly colorful bunch from just the lines of dialogues as well as their obviously awesome avatars.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Apparently there's going to be a short story written by the author about how the original 9 conquered the Tomb of Nazarick. It'll be attached to the first BD volume. I hope it gets scanned and eventually translated. I really want to know more about the guildmembers since they seemed like a fun bunch.
Right?! I mean they all seemed to be such quirky & fun group of individuals to hang out with. I mean theirs gotta be a reason why Ainz grew so attached to them.
Also what does BD mean, like for the when the anime gets a disc release? Cause I wanna read that story, imagine how they became such a powerful force in the game. Though I thought they created the tomb. Very impressed that they instead conquered it.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He grew so attached because he had literally no one else, no meaningful job and no real skills in life. I mean, yeah, they were probably fun guys but his attachment to them was really unhealthy.
And no, they took over Nazarick, built a few new floors and said it was their new base. It was just a dungeon before that.

Still this is a game ya prolly still have to still kill off a cool most likely raid boss before you take over. Also thats pretty sad for Ainz especially if you realize that his guild mates probably never felt the same way he did. A rather depressing thought.
Also this could give us deeper insight into the plot & characters. For example considering Sebas & Demiurge inherited their blistering hatred of each other from their creators it should be interesting to know what the hell happened between Touch-Me & Ulbert

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."While Sebas and Demiurge have a specific er, "grudge", Sebas IS ideologically against almost all Nazarick denizens. The only ones he isn't are most of the maids (although among the named ones Alpha and Delta are the only ones not in the negative, it's implied that the majority of the other, minor maids are also positive - that's why she won't really be in "hostile territory"), Cocytus (who is neutral), and Victim (also neutral).

I forgot the elves existed, honestly. I didn't include Shalltear because she hasn't shown herself to be a fanatic like Albedo or unable to comprehend a world without a master to serve like Demiurge. I don't think anyone would betray him, I was just noting that most of the people that matter are so obviously fanatically loyal that worrying about them is pointless.
Also, I think Shalltear just wants to screw him because she's a necrophiliac. Unlike Albedo she'd probably be unhappy if he turned back into a human. But yes, she should also be incredibly loyal considering she nearly tried to kill Sebas for accidentally suggesting Ainz' judgment might not be perfect.

You mean the novel where Sebas was totally willing to kill Tsuare for no reason because Ainz said so and had to be stopped from doing it twice?
That said, I'll be happy if he gradually loses Sebas' loyalty. I think Touch Me would be absolutely horrified at what Ainz is doing.

Again loyalty
Also I have the belief that Shaltear loves Ainz so much is not just cause shes a necrophiliac & into power but cause her creator used to be Ainz' BF back in the old days. Either Pero programmed her crush as a gesture of good-will towards his bro or because their friendship was so close it imprinted off on her like most creator traits. Its just for her it naturally turned to attraction.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Nah, those are perfectly legitimate complains. Being unwilling to kill when it is right is a legit personal dislike, and suddenly being willing to kill when it's not right does not make it better, it only adds a nice heaping of hypocrisy into him.
