His role was being bullied by his sister. It was just a hobby.
iirc he was archery specced.
He was well prepped.
I forget that deviancy aside he was quite the skilled player same as everyone else in the guild.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Did Ainz... straight up forget about his world domination goal?
Ainz never had a goal for world domination.
What happened is Demiurge misunderstood a harmless comment he made & it just spiraled out of control so when Ainz found out he went “Well everyone think’s this is true, might as well go with it.”
All he wanted was just information on the new world they are in & to find his other guild-mates.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I thought in the first episode when they were talking about jewels of the world and whatnot was the beginning of conquest.
That was just flowery talk of how glorious the world is cause he was feeling sentimental after witnessing the beauty of the star-filled night sky while flying.
Demiurge simply assumed he wanted the world due to misinterpreting the phrasing of that statement.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."All of the bloodshed and horror inflicted by Nazarick on the New World throughout this series was kicked off by this misunderstanding.
Somehow that makes it even worse than if he had planned to conquer the New World from the start.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWell it is really kicked off by the fact that his guild was made out of edgelords that made evil as balls NPCs. The isekaing dropped a bunch of absolute insane monsters into the world and them tearing the realm a new one was only a matter of time.
Not all are evil. Others are just Neutral on the Morality scale.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. The only ones I can think of as being even close to Neutral are the elf maid twins or whatever. I hated the entire series so it's hard to recall, but they just went along with everything without any particular depravities of their own.
It’s the consequence of originally being NPC’s.
Their existance is a contradiction as a result of being suddenly made into real beings.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Both Cocytus and Victim fall on the psoitive side of the scale while still being Neutral and not good.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Cocytus is neutral, maybe even a little good. Mare and Aura are pretty evil. Sebas is good... as far as the author can write a good character. A few of the Pleiades are alright.
I think Yurie Alpha's supposed to be (along withe Sebas) one of the highest Karma/strongest Good Alignment among the denizens of Nazarick that we see on any sort of recurring basis.
"Not all are evil."
That doesn't really change how the others would go about it. Demiurge doesn't care what Sebas would think about his farm, he just does it. And so on.
The NPC's backstories and alignments were originally just fluff anyway. They were never intended to work together or function as a real organization.
Sebas is good. His allowing Nazaricks evil is largely a side effect of him, being hard coded into being absolutely loyal to Nazarick, so he can't really go against it doing anything he finds distasteful.
And Demiurges and Sebas creators disliked each other which got passed on to them so if Sebas knew about the human farms he'd do it to spite him anyways.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. To be exact even the NPC's with the most detailed backstories did not have all the details filled out about them. So to fill in gaps in their personalty they inherited from their creators personalities.

Sebas brutally murders unconscious people, breaks his word (so he can murder someone) and inflicts suffering on those who cannot fight back. Calling him 'good' is a stretch so far as I'm concerned. Yeah, he does it to bad guys, but that's pretty cruel.
When did he break his word? And only guy we saw him murder in cold blood was that asshole guard officer who had just been beating up a girl. And made it clear from every word he said that he was scum.
Well, have you read the novels?
And yeah, that guy was a scumbag. So were the criminals. But paying evil until evil is still evil. The best the author can do when it comes to writing a heroic character is apparently adding in the Punisher.

He lied about making any attempt whatsoever to take Eight Finger's members alive to Brain and Climb, just killing everyone in his path.
He said he would kill anyone who resisted him. The only people he explicitly promised not to kill was the Eight Fingers captains. And he didn't kill Cocco Doll. Or at least I don't recall that he did.
The one guy he killed on-screen didn't really resist him I guess, but he was a Corrupt Cop, not Eight Fingers.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! At one point he broke into a room, knocked one guy out and promised to spare the other if he talked. He talked. Then Sebas was like 'Yeah I'm going to murder you now' and the minion was like 'wait what? but you said' 'I lied' and then he murdered him. Then he murdered the unconscious guy. Then he slaughtered everyone else. Then he tortured that one asshole to death.
Ahaha Albedo’s a virgin cause Ainz changed her backstory, that’s hilarious.
Also huh didn’t know Peroronchino had a personal monster encyclopedia, what was his role in the guild back then?
