Summary if the 1st Post was a bit big: Destiny Drive is clear Alternate History, starting at 1940. Revolutionizing society with advanced alien technology and knowledge, humanity had never knew such international peace... Until the Eldritchians, simply yet fittingly named Eldritch Abominations land on Earth pursuing the human aliens Skyblazers. It is now 2015, twenty years after the first attack, with humanity & their alien allies fighting off the Eldritchians. Even as three organizations have risen as the prominent defenders of humanity, some humans act out criminal or even wicked behavior forcing humanity to contend with threats beyond & within. Though even if they have to deal with themselves as well, no matter what happens humanity refuses to give up against the Eldritchian menace. For these heroes, they are the ones that shall drive destiny to the end they want!

Regarding the Squad/Unit thing: Those are your character's in-universe piloting groups. The Fey Hearts mainly go on missions regarding Eldritchian matters, and was formed only very recently. Beauty and Beast, meanwhile, are a two woman unit put together to undertake simple missions such as escorting or subduing lone Armor criminals.

Feel free to ask me any questions, even random or seemingly unimportant ones. Oh, and the first update for Destiny Drive Third will be... *drum roll* today! Won't show up for at least an hour though.

Something tells me an Atlas's firepower is probably necessary considering Armor criminals.

I am also now imagining a police chase between two robots, one of which has a very tiny police siren on top of it.

What kind of opportunities would there be for interaction between factions?

Well, Seed Esper is ultimately neutral in the "Pro"-Eldritchian/Anti-Eldritchian political stance so they'll work perfectly fine with CACHE and Einmal when needed. Given CACHE is the legal enforcers of Elysium yet willing to allow others to deal with criminals, they'll commonly patch over Missions to Seed Esper with rewards of monetary payment (since CACHE has little actual need for the money they amass due to their resources being in-house). Einmal will sometimes send requests to investigate/deal with apparent Eldritchian-related activity, and they pay by offering information on how to better make use of commercial technology... Along with money.

CACHE and Einmal, however, are two barely restrained enemies due to their clashing beliefs. Einmal will refuse cooperation with CACHE most of the time, only doing so when an Eldritchian is attacking (though they'll try to finish as fast as possible to deny them the Eldritchian biology) or when they want something from CACHE. Most CACHE employees will gradually come to view Einmal as arrogant individuals, though the more reasonable CACHE members honestly want the two of them to peacefully cooperate.

When they're going about their business outside of their factions, members of the three are generally able to get along peacefully though.

Regarding Armor Criminals... It mainly depends on the Armor in question. Antiques like a T.A.N.K will be no problem, but a hijacked MP Seelie is gonna be hell with a good pilot. Though since you mentioned it, there are Armors specifically designed for police officers. The fancier divisions will have Variable System Armors so they can take it anywhere without drawing extra attention.

So.. Do members of one faction all live in one place or are they allowed to live wherever?(Within reason).

It mainly depends on the individual in question. Most baseline members of a Faction will have their own homes in Elysium, whereas most in-Faction Artificial Lives will live somewhere on Faction property. Some, like Fae that can seamlessly blend in or Seekers, will be able to acquire their own homes if they're responsible enough. Others, like Fae attending the CACHE School Avalon, will live somewhere on site there.

Hmmm... putting a sometimes unstable woman in anti-personnel missions, I wonder how that would turn out.

I like the Beauty and Beast naming. I find it rather apt with their mechas and inversely fitting with the people.

Oh, if you guys need a more precise idea for what to go off of: In CACHE Elysium's Main Facility they're currently finishing up The Falchion (which, as I have no easier means to describe it, looks reminiscent but not perfectly of the Weissritter) in the Armor Hanger. Seed Esper, on the other hand, is mainly going about business as usual (which means making sure products are successfully sold, the mercs are properly paid, etc) though some odd Russian men came in earlier and haven't left yet.

Oh, and regarding the two new mentioned Eldritchians: The Vile Saint is purely an Elemental Class despite Gabriel accusing it of being a body-eater (yeah, it naturally looked like a bunch of nuns mashed together into a vaguely spherical form with static wings, they're freaking weird). While its main power consisted of manipulating light much more fluidly and destructively than the Lux Sniper, it couldn't perform laser spam.

The Aurora Destroyer, on the other hand, is a Bio/Elemental Warrior Eldritchian whose main thing is absorbing electricity to power a multicolored breath attack. Her initial appearance came off as yet another animalistic Eldritchian, one that could essentially be considered the bastard child of a cat and a dolphin, though eventually what everyone thought was her spine instead pulled out to reveal a visage one could only generously call human. That entire structure is actually her brain, and when pulled out allows her to see electrical sources.

Oh, and these two Eldritchians arrived on Earth last year, with Aurora Destroyer herself being the last one encountered so far. Regarding the Elysium Fields, they're basically what you get when you cross forests with beaches.

Most of the Faerie Knight's information is ready for your perusal. I still need to fill in its creation background, but most of that has already been covered elsewhere. I'll still be filling it in, but most of the vital data should be ready for you to 'yay' or 'nea' it.

The only thing I really need to know now is how fast the adaption is. That, and any possibilities for a "Mid-Season Upgrade" though that's mainly just for fun. The Faerie Knight is ready for deployment I say!

By the way guys, I'll be adding Personnel Lists (Including an Unaffiliated Segment) to the Manual soon enough, with Fae/Seeker/Esper Types following afterwards. Though regarding Eldritchians designed by players, as you're the ones that understand them, I won't be able to write how their Fae work.

Oh, and for your first posts I advise using them as your Establishing Character Moment.

I would say the adaptation a matter of minutes, quickly enough that most environments aren't a trouble for it, but not so quickly that it can't be overwhelmed by varied attacks. In combat it would be more a matter of using the same kind of attacks over and over seeing diminishing returns, with Biological attacks generally being the most easily adapted to.

EDIT: Oh, and do any of my fellow CACHE players have any thoughts on how they want to open things?

EDIT.EDIT: And as far as Mid-Season Upgrade material, I might think in terms of allowing it to reshape its physical form or regaining some of its control over its bio-nanites.

I've added some Character Files to the Manual, and a new addition for The World Segment. I've been working on the Character Files for the past few days, so there's still plenty more I'm making sure won't be received negatively (since none of the characters have stereotypical normal lives and myself wanting to show some of the lingering aftermath caused by Eldritchian attacks).

I'll also be adding in other additions somewhat eccentrically, such as a World File on the technology company Kaiser-Neo and files for all the newly mentioned Eldritchians. Speaking of, Eldritchian attacks are on average five a year (thus one every 2.5 months), though it isn't a hard and fast rule.

So where would Seed Esper mercs be living? Would there be anywhere they'd be assigned, or would they be able to live somewhere else provided they have the dosh for it?

Also, again, I'd like to apologize for not posting in the roleplay. I was waiting on Kkut to announce the thread was up like he did the discussion, and by the time I figured it out it was already twelve posts in.

Sorry about that, I just assumed everyone was going to be eagle-eyed since I said the roleplay would start in a few hours after I made the Discussion. Though that does explain the oddly slow start...

Anyways, regarding your question: Seed Esper does have living quarters, though they're commonly meant for temporary use like over night work or a protected place for injured employees. Its is normal enough for there to be fully fleshed out living areas, due to Seed Esper wanting to provide their Arts a safe place to adjust to existence. Most cases, though, Seed Esper does expect their employees to have their own places. Mercs do get access to Seed living quarters as a benefit though.

I'll be providing Levi Long's Character File soon enough, which will be followed by a new update to give everyone new material to work with. Though in the time being, for the CACHE players, someone can bring up Gerald Long and how he's apparently involved with the Falchion's creation (someone can even bring up its design similarities to Zero Lament and/or the fictional Weissritter). Its well known within CACHE who Gerald's children are (Samson, Eric, Faith and Levi), thus anyone who watched the VARES (Virtually Augmented Reality Entertainment Station) could put two and two together to figure out Levi might be the pilot. I would also say the amount of secretiveness of the pilot is actually a bit unusual for CACHE in-organization, thus helping along the deduction.

For Lucus firstly, I love the title: "The Key To A New Future" that is quite cool.

Though for a actual question with Lucus visiting Seed Esper would his Armor be at the School, Einmal or at the Seed Esper hanger? Has Lucus been given a reason he is visiting Seed Espers? Has this happened before is it uncommon?

Finally how large is Elysium? Do we have a rough area and or population in this current edition of the universe.

Question~: Is the Beauty and Beast Unit a new one? Or shall we decide that?

You know, I honestly wasn't even thinking of his name when I did that, I was just thinking along the lines "his genius will open new doors for humanity". Though regarding his Armor, Mechs and the Variable System are common enough it isn't really weird to see someone using one to move around. In fact, due to the Eldritchian presence, existence of pure vehicles have been gradually decreasing as mechanical engineering evolves.

Regarding Elysium's size, I never did scope out the specific feet, though on a map Elysium would fit in neatly between the Eastern & Western continents yet still be far enough you couldn't casually go there & back in our universe. Honestly, my schools never really taught me about size, so that's the best I can give. Though, vertically Elysium has enough coating that nobody is going to accidentally breach the Underground (which itself is obviously big enough to contain fifty foot abominations). So hopefully that works for everyone.

Regarding the Beauty & Beast Unit, feel free to decide for yourselves since the formation of the unit would be pretty important for their modern day reactions. I, personally, would lean more towards new with it being constructed to try getting Irelia to bond with someone.

Personally I've got no preferences. So having it be recently formed is definitely fine by me.

Yeah... I was hoping for new, as well, since it would be harder - in my opinion - for the both of us tp rp. I was gonna say I was waiting for Sparty's agreement but.. . I guess that's that. So I guess that we'll be meeting later on... July seventh is good? Seems to be a big day for all.

I liked the updates. They give come decent context to the environment and area as a whole. Also it gives some direction and constant flow of time which is nice.

I hope my first post looks okay as well. Decided to take the fact they were expecting me as well maybe he is running late. Then the question, now why would be be late? ^_^

Edit: I just added information about the Eldritchian who attacked Lucus' father. If there are any problems with it, please inform me so I can change it.

Nothing wrong with them, I think. Although, there are many characters being introduced who we have no idea about. Given, it is a prologue of sorts, so it's totally alright. Not moving too fast or too slow, for me, at least. The style reminds me of a book I can't remember.
