That's exactly what it is. Some weirdos didn't like some of the policies regarding sexual content and made their own brand x wiki
Presenting! Is that why the site exists? I've run into it a couple times from Google searches and though it confused me I didn't give enough of a damn to look into it.
...I've seen some of their complaints and feel like they had a point.
I have a few friends here, and I feel like this site's been slowly improving overall, but I can sympathize with the people who made the other one.
Gotta say, the forums on these wikia sites never actually seem to have any real activity going on. Considering forum discussions are what I come here for these days, I think this is where I'm going to stay, because that new site appears to be very very boring.
A lot of individual Wikia wikis have very small communities, so it's not uncommon to see them slow down or even grind to a halt.
Yeah, but that was a site that specifically spun off from this very community-driven site with an active (usually) forum. I'm honestly kinda surprised their forum isn't very active.
Then again, I'm pretty sure most of the people who left this site for one reason or another mostly hang around (or used to) at It Just Bugs Me.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Do we have a Work page for it?
We should have a Work page for it. That would be hilariously recursive.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.No, I think we don't have a page about ATT on our own wiki.
Whole it would be hilarious i think it would be to legitimizing to the ripoff wiki
Presenting!Define "legitimizing". All The Tropes is a wiki that exists, even if it looks kinda barren. If it exists and is accessible to the public I see no reason why it can't have a page of its own (not saying that it must have one, the internet is too large for us to keep track of every site that exists). Maybe someone could check if they've created any trope pages without an equivalent on this site and run them through YKTTW? By their very nature it's very clear they don't mind people taking content from other wikis.

Fair enough. I never took the if it exists it's tropable principal into account
Presenting! We have a page for My Immortal. I don't think we can get much lower with what we legitimize unless we bring back the pages for legitimately morally reprehensible works.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.We could just copy the page we have on ourselves. Bam, quickest write up ever.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimNo, there will not be an article for them. We'd prefer they not be talked about at all. We aren't in the business of giving plagiarists free advertising.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
I don't know if I'm even allowed to talk about it, but did anyone else notice that Wikia knock-off site All The Tropes?
It seems to have been started by someone who was disgruntled by TV Tropes policies and prefers MediaWiki. Although honestly, it just seems very pointless to just copy-paste so much from the original TV Tropes wiki.
