He nods. "That power surge kind of fried the power source the main generator...I'm working on repairing it, but its slow going...could you see how stable the reserves are? If there's and circuitry damage or anything like that?" He asks, his hands busy with readjusting wires and circuits.

Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.I enter my quarters after a nighttime dip in the pool. I sit in an armchair and smile as I watch Peter and Greg sleep.

"Anything I can do?" Shark asks as he pokes his head into the room with Amos and Jiko

My various fanfics.(Sorry for the delay.)
Amos glances back as he hears Shark enter. "Oh, yes, actually. Could you bring me those circuit boards laying on table there? Looks like I need to completely replace it..." he says, grumbling a bit at the revelation.
Greg yawns before he sits up, stretching his arms above his head. He smiles and gently strokes Peter's leg before he notices Chris. "Hey."
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either."Can do," Shark says with a wink while he retrieves the circuit boards, walking back over to Amos and holding them out for him once he's gotten them.
My various fanfics.Rakiri sits in a chair, apparently having been watching Brah sleep. "Mornin'." he says, rubbing his eyes, having just been asleep himself.
"Thanks." Amos says with an appreciative nod, taking one of the circuit boards from him. He starts to pry out the old circuitry. "Jiko, how do the other generators l-" he says but is cut off as a large spark comes out of the panel shocking him. "OW!" he yelps, quickly backing up from the machinery.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.Shark grabs Amos and pulls him away from the machine, scowling at it. "Are you all right?" he asks, looking down at Amos's hand.
My various fanfics.Greg chuckles, grabbing Chris's hand and kissing it. "Been watching long?"
Amos looks down at his hands. His mechanized one is completely unharmed it seems, but his organic one has a pretty nasty burn on the palm. "Ow...Ow ow ow...I should have put on a glove before doing that...stupid..." he says, scolding his lack of foresight.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either."Okay, that's enough machines for you," Shark says and scoops Amos up into his arms. "You're gonna point me to the medbay and we're gonna get you some burn ointment."
My various fanfics."Wh-what...? But, what about the...umm..." Amos starts but can't do much of anything as Shark carries him off. He simply points him in the direction of the medbay, trying to hide his face.
Greg blushes a tad, scratching his head. "I feel alright. I need to do something other than sleep for a while, though."
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either."Jiko can handle it," Shark assures him. He takes Amos to the medbay and sits him down in a chair. "Okay, burn ointment. That shouldn't be too hard to find..." he trails off and starts rummaging around through supplies to look for it, sometimes bending low to look in cabinets.
My various fanfics.Amos watches him for a moment before rubbing his hand. "I think they keep the ointment in the cabinet there." he says, pointing to the medical cabinet not far from where he's searching.
"Heheh...sure. Let's go check up on them, though." he stands up, ushering for Chris to lead the way.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either."Oh!" Shark says before opening the cabinet, "Thanks." He finds the ointment, some gauze pads, and some medical tape. "All right, lemme see your hand."
My various fanfics.Amos offers his burned hand to Shark. "Please, try to be gentle...it stings..." he mutters, before turning to see Chris and Greg at the door. "I got an electrical burn..."
Greg smiles a bit a Chris, then winces. "Oww...sorry about that...you alright?"
"Well...it stings quite a bit..." Amos answers, before looking back at Shark, nodding for him to go ahead.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either."Don't worry," Shark says in a soothing tone, "I can be gentle." He pours the ointment slowly onto Amos's palm and rubs it in with the tips of two fingers while holding Amos's hand firmly in his other hand. Then he puts a gauze pad down on the burn and carefully wraps Amos's hand in medical tape. He gives Amos a little kiss on the back of the hand when he's done, but he's not quite sure if he did it to be funny or to flirt.
My various fanfics."...D'aww. Cute." Greg says from the doorway, giggling.
Amos's face goes beet red for one reason or another, as he covers his face with his metal hand. "Th-Thank you..." he mutters, peeking through his fingers at Greg, then back at Shark. "I appreciate it..."
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.Shark smiles and pats Amos on the thigh. "No problem," he says before he notices Greg and Chris. He smirks while trying to ignore his own blushing and slowly closes the door. "Anything else I could do that you'd appreciate?"
My various fanfics.

"Just point me at the problem," says Jiko as he grabs a tool belt.
