Yeah, I want to know who's behind that cover art. Found it stupid since before I ever read the series. For what series would that even be accurate!?
(For the lazy, the manga cover art for this series is always a girl lifting her skirt to show her panties. WTF.)
In any event, I know most people will be put off by the setting and opening chapters. That's fine - I'm sticking around because I know what's coming.

If you could take some time to post here with snippets about how things progress, in case it turns out good enough?
I mean, I was very skeptical of Shimoneta, but giving it a chance is probably one of the best decisions I've made in regards to anime watching this year! It did take some other people saying it was doing very well though.
OH GOD WHY AM I A CAR!? - ForzareBoy there is a LOT of crap this season. Gochuumon, Owarimonogatari and Yuru Yuri are pretty much it.
85% man service, 10% fanservice, and like 5% watchable.
The thing I liked about Shimoneta was that I could basically joke around and say that it's a combination of Seitokai Yakuindomo and Psycho Pass
Okay, so after reading up about the new season on RC I compiled this season watch list:
Definitely:
- Miss Monochrome (I have a soft spot for this series, and I watched two seasons already, so no reason to stop now)
- Gakusen Toshi Asterisk (So this sound like "Mahouka if it wasn't terrible", which could prove interesting. Also, I'm sucker for fantasy high-school series. Also, it looks so pretty!)
- Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry (This was going to be a maybe, but RC preview convinced me to bump it here. I mean "a breath of fresh air" is definietly something that the genre could use.)
- Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! (Yeah, I've read the manga and I love it. It's hillarious, heartwarming and surprisingly thoughtful for a 4koma. They would have to really screw up the adaptation for this to not be great.)
- Comet Lucifer (This just looks lovely - a whimsical fantasy adventure. I'm going on a limb but this could be the dark horse of the season. Also, original concept anime should be encouraged.
- Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou (This one seems like a crazy awesome fun. As long as stay true to what have they shown this far, this is going to be great. Mechas fighthing Magical Girls? Sing me up!)
Maybe:
- Lance N’ Masques (It looks like it could be a harmless fluffy comedy with some action, so it's at least worth checking out.)
- Young Black Jack (a spin-off of a classic manga. Let's see how it works out,)
- Hacka Doll (I just want to know how you turn a news app into an anime.)
- Heavy Object (Okay, Toaru is a mixed bag to be sure, but this should at least be worth checking out. Also, I like mechas. Now if only this series would have no lolis...)
- Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen (I like Epic Fantasy. I didn't watch the previous Utawarerumono season, so I might not know what's going on.)
- Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans (Oh Gundam, you didn't have a good entry in almost a decade, and a really good one in twenty years. Still it's one of those franchises I'm always willing to give another chance. Please surprise me.)
- Onsen Yousei Hakone-chan (As RC said, if this is something in the vein of Youtsuba& I'm going to watch it. If however this is some sick loli pandering shit, it's getting dropped like a hot potato.)
- One-Punch Man (Eh, it's funny at first but the joke get repetitive after a while, I'll try to keep up with it, but I might just forget to watch it and not regret it later.)
- Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru (I would watch a good mystery series, let's see if this is one.)
- Taimadou Gakuen 35 Shiken Shoutai (Moderetly interested. It could be good, it could be bad. I want to see if the hero is as crazy as they describe him.)
- Gochuumon wa Usagi Desuka?? (So, cute girls doing cute things? Write me down as maybe.)
- VALKYRIE DRIVE -MERMAID- ( My Bile Fascination sense is tingling.)
Special: I really need to catch up on Monogatari series before I pick up the newest entry.
That's about it... wow, that's a lot of shows actually, now that I think of it. I'll probably won't finish like half of these but still, these season is packed. And I only picked the ones that seems at least bit promising.

Its an S2, S1 on Crunchyroll I believe
And really its cute and pretty wacky girls doing cute things. By wacky I mean a girl with ADHD, a Crazy Survivalist Cosplay Otaku Girl, a Cloudcuckoolander, a Mock Millionaire The Ojou, and a The Quiet One Tsundere tsukkomi to set em straight.
They mix as well as you can expect but also are good friends.
Valkyrie Drive is the first part of the new franchise by Senran Kagura's "Righteous Boobage Producer". The same guy who gave us this gem:
That is the calling of a NINJA.
They run faster and jump higher than anyone.
They can easily jump over people’s expectations.
These games still have the potential to grow big and large.
Just like the girls’ chests.
Tits are life, ass is hometown.
If you've already watched Senran Kagura, no need to bother with the Bile Fascination, you know what's coming.
(I'm personally watching because, for all the fanservice, Senran Kagura games are legit pretty good and I wanna see what his new franchise is about.)

x7: "Oh Gundam, you didn't have a good entry in almost a decade, and a really good one in twenty years."
Build Fighters. Turn A. After War Gundam X. Your argument is invalid.
That said, Iron-Blooded Orphans seems interesting in terms of what kind of combat seems to be going on, but I can't say the story seems particularly engaging. And that's about the only thing that's caught my eye so far.
but HOW?So it turns out Ani Chart allows for sharing a custom charts, which is neat
, I took liberty of hiding all the crap I'm not bothering with, to make the chart less bloated.
I stand by what I said.
As an actual Gundam fan I am not hopeful at all about the new series, the writer and director are terrible and it's glaringly obvious how sexist it's going to be with not a single girl being in the main cast or in the trailers a small clip of a Damsel in Distress.

The covers for the manga don't help either, my friend. There is a chance it will be something of worth, but I hold no hopes for it.
