Yeah I hate narratives that do that kind of jumping in general as well. It's one of the reasons why I said I didn't want to like the series. But as the previous poster said they're relying on it less as things go on and as they've mostly used it for good effect. I think without knowing some things about the future tints the events in the present (which I'm calling the... younger timeline, I can't remember those Japanese year designations) in a good way and actually increases investment.
I also think they were somewhat forced to do those jumps to show some of their hand early, to tell the viewer that the story isn't as straightforward as you might get the impression of, if they went with strictly chronological ordering of events. I probably would've dropped this series early were they doing that, as the story would seem far more clichéd then.

Episode 4 of Osomatsu-san isn't as funny as the previous three, but still worth a chuckle. And I have come to conclusion that Jyuushi is the best Matsu. I can't get enough of his constant
face.
It gets easier when you can identify their traits.
- Osomatsu - red, template for the others
- Karamatsu - blue, thick eyebrows, upturned smile
- Choromatsu - green, smaller pupils, no strands of hair
- Ichimatsu - purple, messier hair, sleepy eyes
- Juushimatsu - yellow, constant :D
- Todomatsu - pink, smaller mouth, Cat Smile expression.
I wonder who watches Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note here? It's not even in this season's lineup page (probably because it's a NHK show that's not aired in Otaku O'Clock), but Crunchyroll streams it, and I like it. Like it enough to launch its work page (give it more wiki love, thanks!) the day I first watched it. Maybe because The Protagonist reminded me of my wife. Maybe because the series reminded me of Hardy Boys?
Again, I wonder if any troper would feel like editing the work page as well? It's lonely being the only editor for a work page.

Contrary to what I expected, the show is anything but formulaic. Like, each episode they try to do their job and Hilarity Ensues, but that's where the formula ends. Each case is much different from the others so even if you didn't like the first episode you might like the others.

I've been following Peeping Life
The series is so surreal, I'll just tune in to see what the setups are for the week and wait until I get bored with a segment before skipping to the next.
Love the opening.
Well, so I'm following a lot less stuff than I'd want to but guess that's because I have a lot less time than I had last summer. Anyway, The Perfect Insider, the second Garo and Sakurako are pretty much the only things I keep up with.
Perfect Insider is incredibly good. It's a great mystery with great characters and a great atmosphere and the subtle hard scifi elements sprinkled around are great. Shame it doesn't seem to receive the love it deserves.

Latest episode has a couple of flashbacks toward the start, but no flashforwards. I think it stopped doing that now that we're done with character introductions
