This show has some pretty good songs. Not just the Pirate song, though. I really like Robbie's Master of Disguise song a lot(then again I'm a sucker for villain songs).
I remember enjoying this show back when it was on, but always felt that the puppets looked really weird.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013If you're wondering why Stefan Karl Stefansson, Robbie Rotten's actor, looks skinny, that's because he's recovering from a pancreatic cancer operation. As a result he's currently recuperating to rest.

Sad news everyone.
According to his wife, Stefan might not live long.

- Stefán Karl Stefánsson is now free of his cancer.
Same. I wish him the best and I'm glad he knows so many people love him.
You need blood and he's got more than enough!

LazyTown is the laziest town in the world: the children eat extremely processed food, like candy and cake, and always stay home playing videogames instead of going out and playing. This is actually a result of the pervasive influence of Robbie Rotten, the local Dastardly Whiplash, who wants children to remain passive and indoors so that he can enjoy peace and quiet and not be bothered by their noisy play. But then a newcomer comes to town, the mayor's niece, and boy, is she an athlete and a fun-lover! But Robbie is more persuasive than her, playing the kid's vices like a fiddle... until Sportacus appears! He's...
Well, just look at him:
Holy shit. And these stunts? Real. The guy who plays him, the creator of the show, he's a pro gymnast. And you know what his Kryptonite Factor is? Junk food. And what heals him? Healthy food! This guy can't take a simple action like moving from one point to another: he has to somersault and triple jump and parkour his way just to go answer the bell.
The whole show is frankly hilarious, and yet so awesome. It's stupidly awesome, but awesome nonetheless.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
