Very sorry for not posting much lately. I've been trying to finish a project which I have to complete by tomorrow.
Where should Nid go for a bow? The blacksmith or the general store?
Actually, call me Dem or Dem Kimos I hope they add a name change soon...@Victor_Skye: Okay, but just "Maximus decides to go to the weapons shop." doesn't really give me anything to respond to, post-wise. I've already described the interior of the store and who's in it, and the shopkeeper is talking with Dart.
@Dem Kimochis: Both would probably actually have bows, but the ones at the general store would be intended for hunting. Also if she wants her current bow repaired she'd be better off going to the blacksmith.
@Nickpws: -rolls- Looks like no; there's a few with similar size profiles, but they have full sized cross guards.
Anyway, gonna take a nap soon; I'll be available again in a few hours.
You are reading this.Just stopping in briefly before work because I woke up a bit early. Gonna be kind of busy tonight with my new RP, but I should be able to post here at some point. If there will be anything for me to respond to, anyway. I know how much that probably sounds like passive aggressive hint-hinting, but it really isn't meant to be, honest.
Also because I forgot to before, the situation with my schedule for this coming week is finally pretty darn tame. I've got a Deathwatch session my friend is running Wednesday night, so I won't be able to post that night until pretty late; other than that the only night where I might not post due to work shifts (at least in the main thread) is Thursday night.
@Nickpws: In this case he would just pick one out and ask the blacksmith about the price.

You are reading this.Sorry Fantasy, I meant to post last night but forgot to; I was also having internet problems for a while, but even with that I had plenty of time to post so that's just my bad.
Quick post coming up shortly.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and gotta make some rolls... Hmm, Dart's favor but not by much.

You are reading this. Can't currently think of anything to post for Dart and have nothing else to respond to; so my apologies but no post from me tonight. I'm starting to get the feeling that this RP might be done for, but as long as at least a few of you are still going I'll keep going; I do not intend to abandon an RP.
Anyway, gonna get going for tonight real soon.
@Fantasy: Which payment method was Dart doing?
You are reading this.Real life got very busy and distracting for me yesterday; due in some part to a remake of a game from my childhood coming out on steam. Gonna see about getting a short post for Refran here done soon.
@Fantasy: Dart's got 100 bills and 300 coins, so he can pick any of the four payment options.
You are reading this.Saturday night I was too busy with something else to post, and last night I was a bit busy but the main reason I didn't post was because I couldn't think of anything to post yet.
I'm still not sure what I want to post for Refran, but I'll try to think of something before I go to bed.
EDIT: Bah, I have failed. I'm sorry Nickpws.

You are reading this.Don't know why it didn't occur to me before what the bandolier would actually do for Dart since we're using Hollywood ammunition rules. Derp.
I decided that it'll give him a bonus to reload speed.
Anyway, I finally thought of something to post; should be up soon. also, due to the fact that they haven't posted anything in a quite some time, I'm going to be under the assumption until otherwise noted that Blackie, romanmyth, and Victor_Skye are all out of the game. Of course if they're not they're welcome to come back with their same characters or different ones.
If I'm correct that means the current team balance is one on three, so the next mission will likely involve the Exlan side GMPC.

You are reading this.If the game's too one-sided, with which I mean if the teams are in favor of Dorothan again, I might not participate in combat until it's a fair fight. Kind of don't want to make it a one-sided stomp.
Edit: Would bumping the signup help our situation any? I feel like there's just a general lack of interest here, which is a shame, since I want this to succeed.

I wouldn't worry too much about the balance yet; the GMPC on the Exlan side might have less EXP spent than all of you, but he's currently better armed than any of you. Also you know, he's being run by me and I know the system a lot better than you guys.
Anyway, bumping the signup might help, might not; only one way to find out. I'll give it a quick bump since I should have it mentioned somewhere that we're only going to be taking Exlan characters for now anyway.
EDIT: Done. I'm going to be taking a nap in the not too distant future and have some stuff going on after that, so I'm not going to be making a main thread post for probably several hours. Sorry.

You are reading this.Ah, sorry I should've realized you wouldn't know.
An item that's just enchanted with an inherent effect just sort of has it; like Nathan's amulet of protection. An enchantment like fireball on a staff or wand would normally allow the character to use that ability as if they had it, so long as they use the ability through the item. Since Nathan already has fireball, an item with a fireball enchantment would allow him to treat his fireball skill as being that many levels higher; again so long as he uses the ability through it.
Also, just to let you guys know I'm kinda busy so I won't be posting until later tonight; I'll try to post before I go to bed though.
You are reading this.Admittedly I like unsympathetic characters. It gives you lots of open room for character development, and vice versa if you want to turn a sympathetic character into an unsympathetic one. I always ask the question, how can I make this asshole that everybody hates 24/7 into a protagonist that's earned the audience's grudging respect? Meh, but anyways I can drop it if you'd like.
"In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war."What I meant is that the Estate is going to charge Maximus a lot of money for the vase he just broke, and right now I don't see a decent way or reason to GM fiat that not happening.
But you know, if you want your character to be a few hundred dollars behind all the other player characters for no good reason. (Although that would almost be as much a dick move to your remaining partner as it would be to you.)
Anyway, not sure I'm going to post tonight in the main thread. Writer's block, distractions, Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void just came out.
You are reading this.Sorry guys, my internet went out yesterday, much to my annoyance.
A technician came by and fixed it earlier today but I was busy with other stuff for a long while afterward.
Right now I'm feeling some writer's block; not quite sure what I want to post yet. I might be able to post later tonight before I go to bed, otherwise I'll plan on getting a post done tomorrow after I'm online.
You are reading this.

Meh, Maximus decides to go into the weapons shop then.
