Honestly, that’s probably why now is the best time for this crossover movie. Interest in Go is down, but the concept is intriguing without having people automatically assuming the worst from the writers. They can be funny if they have time to write something. And they clearly like egging on their Hatedom, which this will give them plenty of chances to do in a way that will probably get laughs from everyone else.
Except that it was unearned. The film spent all of its runtime going on about how the 80’s Turtles sucked, you sucked if you liked them, etc, etc, and then they shake hands. But yeah, we’re off topic.

Playing Trump’s Advocate here but as much Turtles Forever shitted on the 80s Turtles, said Turtles have been given moments that are presented in a positive light. 2003 Splinter defended them, 80s Donatello (often considered the favorite Turtle among the creators) made usefull tech the group used against 2003 Shredder, 80s Raphael fourth wall breaks are genuinely funny and despite being shallow parodies of their former shelves the 80s Turtles were still heroic enough to join the 03 Turtles in their fight.
And as for your jab on Titans (2018), yeah that show is definitely good. The audience who unashamedly hate it are usually fans of the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon, who for the record have a history of shitting on just about ANY Teen Titans adaption that isn’t their precious “original” Titans. And I don’t mean Go! Once upon of time these fans used to gang up on Young Justice for basically replacing the show when it aired on Cartoon Network, and the New 52 Animated Movies for “ripping off” plot lines from the show.
Now I kind of wish the actual Young Justice and New 52 Teen Titans appear in the film, just to shit on 2003 Teen Titans in a similar way the Mirage Turtles did to their 4Kids counterpart.

Again, that didn't happen.
The irony is that that the fans of the old Titans show used to get flak from the fans of the comics.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"So, let me get this straight:
2003!Titans were criticised for betraying Comics!Titans, then 2013!Titans were criticised for not being in the spirit of 2003!Titans, then 2018!Titans were criticised for not being like 2003!Titans.
So, if I understand correctly, nobody can ever be pleased and criticisms will always loom every adaptation, especially in their beginnings, then the opposition dies down, but still remains to a degree.
I dig the comparisons above between Turtles Forever and Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, BTW.
Side note
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Well yes the 2003 series was silly but that's not peoples issues with Go..... well at least with some it is.
The issues come with a combination of a transition to a different comedy style focused on surrealism that borders on absolute nonsense and overt references/homages (boy do the writers love the 80's), the characters tending to be extremely unlikable & inconsistent even for a comedy, & CN's excessive love for the show at the expense of literally everyone else.
Fans treat everything new & different with anathema. Transformers has to deal with it every new show.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm actually okay with TTG. I'm not okay with how Adored by the Network it is, especially in the US.
Also, Regular Show loves The '80s too.
And one mooore thing: at the last line, do you mean Ruined FOREVER? About the fan reaction for (almost) everything new, of course.

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Most good shows get that moment where they establish themselves as good despite naysayers. Beast Wars had most of its first season, Go had the movie, etc. Most being the key word.
Why yes Regular Show did love the 80's, it's humor is also surreal based.
And I find its usage of both to be more superior than Go's. Go can feel like a more loud & obnoxious Regular Show.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."There’s an episode of Go titled “Nostalgia is not a substitute for an actual story. It’s essentially a giant Take That! towards Stranger Things but one could argue it’s taking Regular Show to task as well.
There is an immense hypocrisy in that episode considering how a ton of their own episodes are nothing but nostalgia.
At least Stanger Things & Regular Shows entire concepts revolve were built specially or heavily on the 80’s. On the other hand seeing the Titans pulling so much 80’s references are ill fitting & just weird.
Plus the other shows are just plain better so it ends up being a lower quality attempting & failing to call out a higher-quality show.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Who at CN is allowing all these shallow Take That! episodes? This cartoon is aimed at, like, 8 year olds yet it keeps on having Take That! episodes and references aimed at adults. This could work with shows that are popular with older fans, but from what I've seen most adult DC fans scoff at Go and aren't even watching it.
I used to like it but it's just gone on too long.
I think it's obvious that by now CN lets TTG writers do whatever they want.
Could be "finish the episodes contract" or something. Besides, it doesn't help that a ton of the backlash towards the show was completely undeserved(as it wasn't a replacement to the 2003 show anyway. It's its own thing). The writers really don't need to make nostalgia-related jokes, though, as it doesn't help, but it feels like they're a bit pissed off at how much backlash was directed towards them and feel the need to let it out. I can't blame 'em all that much for feeling that way. It got way overly bad no matter how you go about it.
I also really gotta binge watch it. Though I still love The Nights Begins To Shine, as this show introduced me to the song~
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Anyone else like Bumblebee? I find her fun and positive yet Closer to Earth.
I did get a chance to see the movie at SDCC a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. And yes, the DCAU Titans show up.
Wait. DCAU Titans!?! There’s a DCAU version of the Titans in that upcoming Teen Titans GO! vs. Teen Titans movie?
You got my interest.
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133I hated how she wasn't in the cartoon for years. Was there a legal reason?
You mean the 2003 show?
The DCAU only ever mentioned the Titans indirectly.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. There were already 2 JusticeLeagueVsTeenTitans TT movies, remember?
I guess they just felt like adding Bumblebee to the main cast to change things up.
I actually like TTG Bumblebee more than DC Super Hero Girls 2019 version. She's spunky, positive, and fun.

I found this interview that Scott Menville, Greg Cipes, Khary Payton, and Tara Strong took part in. Put simply, they're open to the idea of a Teen Titans revival.
That would be sweet!
By the way, I have one question: is TTG Brother Blood better than 2003 Brother Blood?
Edited by Andrei_Bondoc on Aug 29th 2019 at 10:26:50 PM
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Apples to oranges, I guess. Like pretty much any comparison between TTG and 2003.
I don't want do to spiteful comparisons, and neither do I ask you to do such. I asked if TTG Brother Blood is better executed than 2003 Brother Blood ('cause I've heard that 2003 BB is kind of not everyone's favorite due to ultimately being too hammy and being obsessed with destroying Cyborg; in other words, he had a good start, then at some point the direction for him went downhill for some reason).
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Still apples & oranges.
Go is a straight comedy that prides itself in its silliness while the 2003 series is an action-adventure cartoon with serious moments.
Their particular usage of Blood is so fundamentally different there is not much or any room for comparison.
Especially since I think neither Blood is very accurate to the original comic incarnation regardless.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
×4
Except that's not what they said at all. Since part of the story was the 03 Turtles seeing that they misjudged the 80s turtles.
And again, pretty much everyone thought the Mirage Turtles were badass.
Anyway, getting back on topic. This Titans crossover will probably end the same way.
I also noticed that the old 80s Titans from the comics were in the trailer.
