You mean it isn't because TTG! (like it or not) is a Cash-Cow Franchise of the highest order?

"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."I must be one of the few adults who unironically enjoys Go. It's genuinely amusing and the best of the reboot/spinoff cartoons on CN. The BB Rae and Take That, Audience! aspects are my only complaints about the show itself. I do however hate that it's the only new DC animated show on Cart- Oh wait, no, Justice League Action is still a thing. DC Superhero Girls is getting a show, but it's not gonna be actiony.
A movie though? That's too risky. Go isn't that big. The Powerpuff Girls was a juggernaut and even its movie failed. Cartoon films are too risky unless they're made 20 years later and riding on nostalgia, and even then we get bombs like Underdog or Yoshi Bear.
Kristen Bell and Will Arnett are in the movie.
And the official title might be Teen Titans GO!...To The Movies.
I think most of the girls in this show are cute. Though I also noticed most of them share a body type.
Can't say I blame Cyborg. Wonder Woman is quite dandy by any standard.
Biggest cuteness upgrade (barring Silkie, who of course is an insect) would be Raven. Damn if she wasn't adorkable tonight.
Call me strange but I missed "chucklehead mode Batman" a little. Also, whether there would have been any ship-tease nods between WW and either Batman or Superman.
@Super Frost Besides the network ratings, I think another factor might be how often the show is watched via streaming in the main CN website plus apps. They probably pay attention to how often those shows are viewed, and they've been putting more focus on the digital stuff.
Which makes supporting stuff like Justice League Action more annoying, since it's tied to a cable account and it's a pain to figure out information to log in. Nick has a better and easier set-up for it.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Will Arnett is going to be in the Teen Titans Go movie. I think we all know who he is going to play in that film . . . Bojack Horseman!?! What is this? A crossover episode.
But seriously, he is going to play Bojack Horseman in the film. Knowing this show, they will have Will playing as any of his other characters that isn't Batman.
I had to Google around to see if you were serious. Someone would have to be crazy to have one of the most depressing and self-destructive characters I've seen/read about in cartoon history be in something like Teen Titans GO!
...They haven't even announced his character.
I'll admit, it'd be absurd to have Arnett be voicing TTG!Batman, if only that Batman has only stood around making chortles with Commissioner Gordon and nothing more, but the last thing Arnett would be in this movie is BoJack Horseman.
My guess? Maybe his character will be something akin to The Simpsons Movie's Russ Cargill and comes to the conclusion that Jump City is the second-most crime infested cities in America (first-most being Gotham City, of course) and decides to isolate Jump City from the rest of the country...and it's somehow the Titans' fault. ...Or maybe he's a private investigator who discovers the TTG!Titans are just a series of imperfect clones (which could explain how they seem to manage to be back to normal even after being turned into mutated bug creatures or as ghosts, or as household appliances).
RE: SuperFrost's concerns: I've always wondered how TTG manages to be profitable despite its supposed merchandise that I never saw in physical stores. Over time, I've asked some adults like my dentist about the show some years back and she said (without a hint of sarcasm) that she enjoys it plenty with her child.
Has anyone ever asked any actual children who could potentially watch TTG what they think of the show? Or are there any videos of kids reacting to TTG? (Honest questions.)
Actually I wasn't serious at all; but do indeed believed that instead of casting him as the obvious role, they will have him play somebody different since TTG tends to not give the obvious fanservice.
I say Bojack because of all children shows that would be crazy enough to reference that show in some way, it would definitely be this one.
I knew right from the beginning that none of them was going to win.
And Cyborg being the fan favorite was also unsurprising. Raven aside, he was the only one that wasn't a complete Bunglepuss. And at least Beast Boy took his screwup in stride.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your grief

There's also a Loud House movie in the works at Nick. I'm 99% sure that's what gave them the idea to do this.
