Probably got something on this wrong, but let's give it a try
Human
Name: Andrea SepĂșlveda
Gender: Female
School Year: 11th
Age: 16
Appearance: 5'7", a bit on the thin side but not overly so. She has shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, and a medium brown complexion. Often wears simple blue clothing and jeans.
Personality: Generally in a good mood, can overreact when sad or angry, but those moods don't tend to persist for long. Isn't terribly social, but does get along well with people when she knows them better.
Skills: Rather good at memorization, mathematics, and reading.
Bio: Growing up, Andrea was mostly interested in reading and math. She did interact socially to some degree, though it was mostly with her parents, younger sister, and some neighborhood kids. When she was about 8, she found out about NetNavis, became obsessed with them, and asked her parents to let her get one. They were reluctant for a while due to being unsure about what kind of things were on the web, but managed to find a Navi who they believed would help keep her clear of the less savory places. A few years later, they ended up getting KnightMan for her and they ended up bonding fairly quickly. Andrea still didn't get out much, but managed to get closer to a friend or two from school with KnightMan's help. Over the last summer, the SepĂșlvedas ended up moving to the town where Axion High School was and, by mutual agreement from their parents and the children, that Andrea, as well as her sister, when she got older, would attend Axion High School.
Battlechips:
Reflector2
Recov120
Quake2
DrilArm2
Wind
Navi
Name: KnightMan.EXE
Gender: Male
Appearance: This◊
Personality: Rather loyal and traditional. Tends to be overprotective of those he knows, in particular Andrea.
Affinity: Break
Abilities: High health and defenses, but rather slow. Non-combat-wise, has some functions that act like 'Parental Controls,' preventing both him from visiting unapproved of locations and auto-filtering content considered objectionable.
Custom:
- Special Attack: Kingdom Crusher - A spiked ball is released straight ahead
- Weapon Chip: Stone Body - The user takes little damage from attacks for a few seconds
- Giga Chip: Shattering Fortress - The user shakes the ground, causing nearby panels to become unstable and causing several chunks of rock to fall down.

"life is just a series of increasingly canon-eluding ao3 tags" ~ everydunsparce "Keep your hellfruit away from me, tempter" ~ also EveryOkay then, just make the change to the school year and age and it should be fine. Though as it is it looks like most of the characters will be in 11th grade anyway lol
Everything looks good, accepted.
Age changed and slight modification to appearance.
I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.And so, accepted.
Can I sign-up for Navis that come from a different franchise, but fit in because the game styles are similar? Like Mighty #9 and Gunvolt.
Can I also sign-up for two characters? I want to do a brother and sister duo.

Name: Cameron Devlin
Gender: Male
School year:11th
Age: 16
Appearance: He is a short blonde kid with glasses. He is very pale and a has blue eyes. Has black streaks in his hair. He wears a purple jacket that he never takes off and jeans
Personality: He is a carefree lazy dumb slacker that is a nice guy but hates bullies. The only thing that motivates him are the ladies but he is socially awkward so that hinders his game. Sometimes he doesn't even take Net Battling seriously. He rarely takes net battling or anything serious always goofing off and joking around. He is slightly aggressive thanks to Double but doesn't show it a lot. When he you pick on his friends watch out because he becomes serious.

Bio: His family was a normal one his dad worked and his mom was a stay at home mother who cooked and cleaned. They focused on his grades more than his social life so he had little interaction with people. He was bullied mercilessly by some bullies and his dad had enough. He paid for a Net Navi Double.EXE who made Cameron tougher and he stood up to the bullies and challenged them to a Net Battle beating all of them. What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!I think you might want to proof read that and expand a few sections. As it is, we don't really know what to expect from him. For example, what kind of clothes does he wear? What's his family like? What does he like or dislike? If he's a slacker, what would it take to motivate him to actually do something? And so on.
Put simply, one-line, bare-bones entries are probably a bad idea, generally speaking. We want them to be CHARACTERS, not plot devices.
I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.No for the first question.
As for the second, I'd rather people just have one pair each. An operator and a Navi is already two characters to write for so I think that's good enough.
Suttungr pretty much said most of what had to be said, more details would be nice. Also, parents sending a kid that's focusing too much on netbattles to a school where netbattling is a perfectly normal thing to do and is even encouraged depending on what you want to do there doesn't sound very smart.
Okay I edited it
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!So I edited it is it good
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!Something I forgot to mention but the picture you linked to is giving me an error.
Delete the last 4 characters of the address and it should work.
For future reference, links and such only take effect when you enter a space, not an equal sign.
I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.Okay I fixed the link
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!Okay I was a bit occupied with other things and kinda forgot about this but anyway...
All right, accepted.
Now we'll wait for Blitz Train and Rapier to post their sign-ups if they still intend on joining this. I'll likely make a discussion thread this week.
Thank you
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!Shouldn't I be on the accepted list
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!My apologies, a combination of writer's block, technical issues eating my first attempted app, and then more writer's block over rewriting everything has made this post much later than I'm comfortable with. Hopefully it will be worth the wait!
Operator
- Name: Chris Cooper
- Gender: Male
- School Year: 12th
- Age: 17
- Appearance: Chris is a tad on the short side, with short dark-brown hair and green eyes hidden. He typically favors denim shorts and lightweight shirts in neutral or dark colors that don't stand out very much. It is rare to see him without his signature messenger bag bearing Shadowman.EXE's emblem.
- Personality: On first glance Chris appears quiet and reserved due to a bad habit of mostly keeping to himself or a small group of personal friends and avoiding initiating interaction outside of that. In actuality he is quite friendly and enjoys sharing his interests and the occasional art project with others, although he seems to be more open to interaction on the net than he is in person.
- Skills: Enjoys creating art via both physical means and digitally, has a good eye for detail and is pretty good at remembering images and reading maps. Chris is also a strong swimmer, although he's never been interested in doing so competitively.
- Bio: Chris hails from a smaller town where he spent much of his alone time in his room goofing off with games or shows or drawing of some sort. On occasion (and with some prompting from his parents) he could be found out of the house swimming or doodling again. To Chris it seemed that most of the attention directed to his family was focused on his older siblings, a brother and sister who (rumor had it) the former had plans to become a famous scientist and the latter a famous netbattler. In any case the pair were quite competitive and left an impression on those familiar with the Cooper family, and while Chris had a mostly positive relationship with them, and his parents made their best effort give equal attention to all their children, the constant compassion of the laid-back Chris to his so-far successful siblings somehow became even more annoying after they had moved away to college. Finally, the Coopers decided to move away so Chris could attend Axion in hopes that it would give him a good start at standing out on his own merits and he would either find his own path or learn how to turn his artistic hobby into something professional. Shadowman.EXE was actually the result of a surprise Navi-shopping trip funded by Chris's sister for his birthday. Chris picked his Navi largely because "He looks cool". As it turned out, Chris's sister was looking for a sparring partner for her netbattling and made sure to suggest the 'strong' navis. Shadowman's initial overly-serious battle centered personality actually annoyed Chris for a while, but even the two learned how to cooperate and become friends.

- : Katana2
- : NrthWind
- : PopUp
- : Muramasa
Navi
- Name: ShadowMan.EXE
- Gender: Male
- Appearance: Eyes in the darkness
- Personality: Shadowman still has a few quirks from his original personality programming, he enjoys the opportunity to go all-out in a battle (win or lose, but preferably win) and detests intentionally holding back or handicapping himself. He also has a habit of staying aloof around navis he doesn't know very well. With Chris, he's learned to be fairly open and at times is the one to remind him that physical exercise is important to staying healthy enough to continue pursuing his hobbies. Shadowman typically enjoys his solitude when not on an errand for Chris but has grown to appreciate helping the boy with his digital art projects, occasionally Shadowman tries his own hand at creating art, but he claims his solo work to be the result of 'meditative exercises'.
- Affinity: None/Null
- Abilities: Can levitate and teleport short distances.
- Custom
- Special Attack: Kawarimi- Quickly throws a handful of shuriken at the opponent, sometimes used while teleporting as a counter attack.
- Weapon Chip: Oboro- Creates two darker-colored clones that can copy his attacks. Clones vanish after a period of time or if hit by an attack.
- Giga Chip: Fuusha- Shadowman and two temporary clones throw a barrage of giant shuriken at the opponent and the area around them in a seemingly random pattern.
Not sure if Oboro would be okay or was pushing it for a Weapon Chip, so I included an alternate just in case and a reference in his Giga Chip just in case (for the record, I figured Fuusha would use any Oboro clones that were out or make replacements for the duration of the attack, I'm pretty sure a tripling a Giga-Chip would be OP, dunno about the other chip types though). Not planning to give him two weapon-chips so I'll take one out after you've had a chance to look things over
Anything that looks like it needs fixing?
EDIT: I'm having a terrible time getting linebreaks to work with bullet points, sorry about the blocky paragraphs...

Accepted, Oboro is fine as a Weapon Chip I'd say, the clones are taken out in one shot from anything in the games so they shouldn't be too gamebreaking. Also you mispelled Muramasa.
Nitpicking aside, that reminds me that I'll be nerfing the Invisibility chips in this RP since temporariry invencibility while also being invisible is pretty huge. The chips are just going to provide the user with invisibility and leave them able to still get hit if someone happens to fire in their way. Cursor type chips like Magnum are also going to allow the user to track down invisible targets due to the chip's auto-aim function (as a adaptation of how they're able to hit you even while you're invisible in the games)
Huh, silly me. At least someone noticed
Anyway I forgot about (or never noticed) the invincibility thing, so just invisibility works fine for me. Thanks for the heads up.
Fair enough on the invisibility thing. Of course, invisibility plus teleportation equals a VERY frustrating boss fight... but then that suits Boomer Kuwanger pretty well, from what I remember.
Incidentally, that reminds me: How're chips like Area Grab gonna work here?

I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.That's... A good question actually. I can't think of any way to adapt it's functions to this RP unless anybody has any suggestions (did the anime ever use those chips?)
A question when would we start this don't mean to be rude. I just need to know for time reasons
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets, but enough talk have at you!As far as I know (which admittedly isn't much), the Area Grab chips are a game-only thing.
If it's too much trouble to think up a use for them, I could just switch that one out for something more obviously useful.
I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.I'll set up a Discussion thread today hopefully, the RP might begin later this week.
If you can, I think chips like Area Grab and derivates are probably not going to be workable here.

I can change the age if you want; not like it's particularly relevant to his character. I didn't see the part about ages though. Guess I should've read more closely.
As for the Giga Chip, I didn't look at any of Cut Man's chips while designing Boomer's, so I made things up as I went along. And yes, that's pretty much exactly what it is.
I did not expect to have cause to use the line "STOP DROPPING YOUR ASSES!" but DQ 11 gave it to me.
