Getting Crap Past the Radar. When I was 12, I found any reference to sex amusing even though I didn't really understand it. Now the trope is being reworked to discourage people like tween!me from being immature.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Status Quo Is God. The term kept getting mentioned in one of The Mysterious Mr. Enter's 2013 or 2014 videos—it was a Spongebob or Family Guy review, I think—so I looked up the term out of curiosity and discovered this wiki. While I don't watch his content anymore, Mr. Enter is how I discovered TV Tropes.
I believe it was American Kirby Is Hardcore. Saw it through the link in Knowyourmeme.com in the comment section in U.S. Kirby Box Cover entry. The rest is history.
"Ever since the day I was born, I've never once uttered a lie! I'm a virtuous weakling! As pitiful as I am, nobody shows me any sympathy!"My memory is fuzzy, but I can remember that it was Hailfire Peaks, while the second I was Planet Heck (when it was known as "Bonus Level of Hell"). It was in April 2009, while I was browsing from a cyber cafe in my university during my free hours. I was looking for information on video games, and was curious to know if there was some Internet site noting the similarities between Hailfire Peaks from Banjo-Tooie and Freezeframe Galaxy.
135 -> 180 -> 273 -> 191 -> 188 -> 230 -> 300 -> 311The entire Video Game Tropes page - I was looking for some generic JRPG tropes to riff on and I ended up here. It'd be another few months until I actually got an account for this place.
Don't you ever fix your lips to say that, bruh. I'm sitting right here and I got my daughter in the backseatI was searching if a movie was based on a real event and i ended in Reality Is Unrealistic
I dunno, but it did have Reality Is Unrealistic in it's description.
"Listen up, Marina, because this is SUPER important. Whatever you do, don't eat th“ “DON'T EAT WHAT?! Your text box ran out of space!”I actually cannot remember, since it was an external website that lead me here, but I do recall Fartillery being one of them, so let's consider that one the first Trope I saw.
EDIT NOTE: It was back in April 2020 that I actually first saw this website, but it wouldn't be until August that year that I would get an account here.

I think mine was Getting Crap Past the Radar. Too bad that doesn't exist anymore.*
Not a Trope, but a series. My friend turned me to this site and I saw The ClueFinders page as my first foray into this website. I remember thinking to myself “man, this page is kind of sparse.”

I remember being angry at my parents when I was 11, and tried to find an answer to the question “why are adults so useless?”
Then I stumbled upon Adults Are Useless.
He/they | Mostly here on my free daysAt this point I have no idea, but Hammerspace is a likely candidate. Someone posted a link to the site in the comments of a long-running fandom comic; I'm unsure whether it was Springaling or Handplates, but the former comic used the concept of hammerspace fairly regularly.
Cave Johnson, we're done here.

The first page on TV Tropes I ever visited was Naruto, so whatever was the first trope there was the first trope I saw.
The legend has returned.
